Chicken is so delicious. They served bhakari and roti also. Quantity and quality is good. You can enjoy food here.
We reached at 3:30 PM. “The food is over”, said the manager. We stood there dejected, were about to leave & the manager came & said one chicken thali is left. All the excitement was back again. The food was quickly served. It had six chicken pieces, two jumbo bhakris along with Indrayani rice/Pulav, which is sufficient enough for two light eaters. Good taste & beautiful ambience with seating arrangements of more than 50 people at a time. A perfect place for a thali lover.
Mutton-mutton-mutton, if that’s the jingle on your mind all day long, here’s your gateway to paradise. Right from the quality, to the variety to the potions- everything is just about right.
There’s a lift to get onto their floor, on the building & there’s a veg. restaurant midway, make sure you land the right floor... LOL!
One of the favourite place for Non-veg. They serve pure non-vegetarian maharashtrian thali.
Chicken thali, mutton thali, aalani soup.
You can share the thali to avoid the food wastage.
Ambience and service is good. They don’t serve buttermilk, Solkadhi which is disappointing after heavy meal.
Best Mutton!!!!!India is dotted with Restaurants boasting about being “Pure Veg”. So I love Surve’s boast of being PURE NON-VEG. I loved it. The service is mind blowing. The food (at least what I ate) out of the world. Must visit if you are in Poona and can have a hearty meat meal. I like the pure non veg in the name. They are a meaty restaurant and the meat mutton is tasty. The portions are large. The service is quick. They have two other branches, this is the newest and is on the second floor.ust try Mutton Bhakri thalli.Alni soup and rice they also serv sweet paan.
Surve is THE Number 1 place for authentic, tradional maharashtrian mutton thali hands down. Idhar nahin khaaya toh kya khaaya. For my family mutton thali means Surve's, period!!!
The ambience here is beautiful and welcoming. Every preparation here is mindblowing. Special mention for alani, alani bhaat and mutton alani fry. All the preps using alani are kid friendly. If you like rich masaledaar food than kheema mutton and mutton fry is apt for you. The quality of mutton being served here is exceptional. The icing on the cake - you get to share the thaali too so no wastage of food or money.
Favorite place for chicken thali. You can go with your family, friends, and special ones...they have 4 branches in pune .. They have best chicken thali and best chicken pulav. Must go ❤️
I got an opportunity to visit this place during my business trip to the city. I was staying at one of the best five-star hotels nearby. However, I was bored of eating typical continental and Indian dishes (made to suit taste buds of foreigners) at the hotel. Then I thought of visiting this place for a change as I had heard about this place from multiple people. And this experiment turns out to be totally worth it. Super tasty & authentic food and pleasant ambiance are the key features of this place. The owner is so friendly and welcoming which is a very rare combination when we consider such authentic food joints. I went to this place for dinner for the rest of my stay in the city. Instead of going for a typical 5-star dinner covered by my company.
This is a must-go place for authentic food lovers and who are really into Maharashtrian no-veg food.
My favourite place in Pune for the Indrani bhaat and keema!

They say... Food is a stress buster. And it is a fact... 👍.
After a hectic and stressful 10 days... Wanted to have a nice and spicy lunch. So, Surve's Pure Non Veg, at East Street branch, was the place to go...
Started with Mutton Soup 30/-... Perfect 👌for the weather. And like home soup.
Had the Mutton Kharda... 300/- , with green masala... coriander, green chillies, garlic... and Mutton Fry... 280/-. Both very tender and with good meaty pieces. And each one, had its own distinctive taste. Though both are starters, but they have a latpat, thickish gravy. So were perfect with Jowar Bhakri... 40/-. The bhakris were soft and huge... Equivalent to 2 chapatis. We could not eat, more than one each. Excellent meal... 😋. Loved it.
Last week I visited Surve's at Camp with my fiancé, it was strongly recommended by him and the reason being it's one of his favourite joints for Non veg food. We had the hearty 'Chicken Thaali' and Yess now I know why he loves the place so much. It was a hearty and filling meal. The Thaali came with Chicken masala, Jwari chi Bhakari, Rice, some Dahi Kanda, a boiled Egg and that highly tasty Rassa. It was very well cooked and the taste was really good. It has got the 'home-cooked' feel I must say. All in all a great meal. The ambiance is soothing and service is quick as well. A must visit if you haven't already!
Always wanted to visit the place as recommended by many friends so finally visited the restaurant on east street. To start with the ambiance and decor is good and pleasant keeping up to the maharashtrian theme. We ordered for special chicken thali and chicken pulav biryani. The chicken pulav biryani was more of a pulav preparation and did not have taste nor texture of biryani so the name is kind of miss leading in the menu. We had ordered for half plate of the same and to our surprise the portion size was more of a full plate with decent chucks of chicken served with two types of rassa (curry) . Now the special chicken thali served with choose of chapati/bharki (2 no’s) was delicious but to be honest not the best of thali I’ve tasted in Pune. The mince chicken was the best in the thali full of flavour and rightly spiced. The chicken Allani (stew) was again good and flavourful. Dry Chicken served was good the masala was well cooked but the chicken pieces seems to b a bit tuff and needed a bit more time in the pan. Along with the thali you are also served rice, we went in for the indrani rice which was well cooked and full of aroma. Food Experience was good and can early be given a 4 star however the service was a bit slow. Now the most strange thing a restaurant chain and a brand like this should have a decent toilet or washbasin over there they had filled 2 utensils with water and a steel glass kept to be used to wash hands in the basis as they did not have finger bowls. Not sure if there was a water shortage or some other issue however the management should take a look at details as this as well as it’s a part of your guest experience.
As the name suggests, the place is a haven for meat lovers. It specialises in serving authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. We ordered special mutton thali and Thecha (green) mutton. The mutton used was of good quality. The staff was friendly and humble.
A good place for non veg lovers .Good taste good food.Just not happy with there billing service they mentioned dalcha mutton RS400 in menu card and later charged 500 in the bill.Asked a question regarding the same to staff member but he was like it is at that price only. Will request to update your menu card. This kind of attitude not good you are running a business which is good. There is a part where customer satisfaction is there and they need their answers .
Anyway I didn't had time to waste there so here is the right place to tell everyone.Check the bill once before you pay.
Overall good food 👍
we were planning to visit surve since long... and finally we made it. we ordered a mutton thali...since goat was not there we got sheep!! it ws equally tasty. The people there helped us order and also advised us about the portions of food which is served.... since we were two.. they tols us that thali wud be ample and we need not order anything...a rare thing in restaurants...
a must go place !!
Had the Chicken Fry and Chicken Thali here.
The chicken fry was good. Even the Bhakari was good.
No options for vegetarians though. They do serve vegetarian dishes from Bhagat Tarachand if you ask them. It's a good option when you have some vegetarian members with you.
Good place for Maharashtrian food.
We took a take away from this outlet. The person taking the order was polite and helpful.
We ordered the following
Chicken Masala- Too good. Good amount of pieces with a semi thick gravy
Mutton Kharda- Spicy and well balanced dish. Very good in taste
Mutton Handi - The rassa can be improved. It was very very watery and less flavour full
Bhakri- One area of improvement. Was not up to the mark.
They have 3 branches in Pune.
Surveys located on the East Street is always a better and safer options to go out for a Maharashtrian non vegetarian lunch or a dinner ..the ambience is vibrant, neat and clean. Staff is very attentive and service oriented.
Chicken Kharda
Rassa
Mutton dalcha are some of the must try dishes at the surveys.this cuisine is influenced by the local Maharashtrian food from the Satara district as the owners belong to Satara...A must visit place and also do not forget to hold a conversation with the manager to experience the best at surveys.
Good quality food & awesome taste. Do visit non- veg lover you will love it. Very pleasant ambiance. For family & group booking nice place..
Was here accompanied by my family. Situated on East Street, Camp just above South Bombay Cafe this place offers authentic Maharashtrian non veg delicacies. We opted for Mutton Techa and Mutton Pakoda followed by bhakri and Chicken hundi. Authentic taste of masala along with tender and perfectly cooked meat just makes your day.
I would recommend to opt for ala carte instead of thali as to avoid limitation of options. And to add on they give you option as to which meat you would prefer Sheep's or Goat's.
Sol Kadi was a bit of a let down, hence -1.

I surely recommend this Foodlet. Rakshitha Rai Rachana Shetty
It's good to see Maharashtrian centric Non Vegetarian food making way to Camp with both Surve's and Maratha Samrat offering unique flavours to an area which had generally been devoid of that experience. We tried the Chicken Thali which came overloaded with Chicken pieces which would have satisfied the insatiable hunger of any meat lover. The Jawari Bhakri and the Pulav was outstanding and although the Rassa could be a tad better it still gets the job done. The pricing is a little premium for what's being offered though which is a concern albeit the service is on point...
5 stars 5 hearts ... All for its juicy , fresh, flavour full mutton .. i'm glad I found this place in this lifetime for the kind of mutton I like to eat ..reminded me of the one my mom cooks for me with love !!
Visited this branch which is newly opened. A regular customer of FC road branch otherwise.
This place has never disappointed me.The food is usual awesome and the staff at this new branch is very friendly.
The Indrayani Rice is the best dish that I enjoy with Chicken Curry.

This is a shoutout to all food lovers anod spicy food lovers across India. Amazing food. Excellent service. I had order Chicken fry and Mutton Kheema Fry. Instant love with the food.
This place serves the most amazing mutton thali! The staff is also very courteous and the service too is very good. The ambience is great! Suggest to sit in Indian style seating section. Since it’s a “pure non-veg” place (I like the sound of it) and a veg person tags along with you, they help with the veg menu from the restaurant below! In all, a must visit!!
Authentic Maharashtrian non-veg food with great taste and good ambience. Spicy food with Maharashtrian chapati or bhakri and has a special satara kind of taste to it. Was quite surprised to get bhave's saunf in the end.
Staff was very polite and prompt in serving, especially would mention mr pradeep pawar.

Happy that finally it has opened a branch on east street camp. Would surely visit it again.
"Every other Maharashtrian restaurant, the door is right there."
This place is the embodiment of "पेट भरा पर दिल नहीं भरा". I'm a Kolhapuri guy, and I can say that this place has earned my seal of approval. The Thali is the best part, three people ate in two thalis. With extreme customisation, Surve's offers you the freedom of ordering your food the way you like it. Share a thali? Go ahead. Need an extra mini thali for your kid? Go ahead, it's free(I'm serious they didn't bill us). Hell, you wanted just half a roti? You can! What restaurant offers just half a roti? I ordered Mutton Thecha, Special Mutton Thali and Mutton Bhaji(Pakoda), and it was enough for three people. The Thecha isn't spicy, it's creamy texture is mesmerizing. The Thali is pure bliss. The pakoda was something out of the box. I'll leave that as a surprise.

Best Maharastrian cuisine in Pune. Their Chapati is just awesome.
Been here for more than 15times.
Must try.
Mutton thali
Chucken thali
Chicken jatra handi

Recommended dishes.
Service is excellent.
I had been to the one in Viman Nagar and it was amazing. So glad there came one in camp. The ambience is very nice, authentic and quiet. The staff is extremely polite and service given was superb. The prices vary in the outlets but that's the locality thing. I only eat chicken so have tried everything chicken there and the rassa, chicken masala and chicken thali were too good, with bhakri. The thetcha, kanda, everything was amazing. They don't have veg but they won't disappoint you, my mom is pure veg but they ordered veg for her and it was all sorted then. Definitely a must visit for spice lovers like me.
I went to this place on a wednesday evening and the place was pretty packed by the time we left. The ambience is way better than the Fc road and Viman nagar outlets and the hygiene also is very good. We had ordered for the Chicken Thaali and Special Mutton Thaali which were both excellent as the chicken and mutton pieces were very tender and well cooked. For drinks we ordered nimbu paani to douse the spice in the delicious food. The Mutton thaali had an added portion of mutton that isn't served at the other outlets and both the thaali's were very filling and more than enough for one person. The Service was excellent and I would love to visit again.
Delightful Maratha Pure-NonVeg experience on East Street. This is a newly opened outlet and is surely worth it. While entering, was pleasantly surprised with their Pure NonVeg branding, a very welcoming sign and much needed thing in this world of Pure Veg outlets.
We ordered 🐔 Chicken Kharda (local Maratha spices spread generously over chunks of chicken with bones, which was hot but extremely tasty, Chicken Handi (10 pieces served with Rassa , amazingly tasty and delicately sliced), Chapatis and the extremely chilled Solkadhi, which was downright refreshing. Would have liked to taste their much acclaimed mutton though. Will make sure not to miss it next time around.
Ambience is very good and unique. They have so many different seating arrangements. Staff here is welcoming and service is quite good. Pricing is may be a bit on the higher side but if we consider the overall experience, ai have to recommend this place.

Yeh DIL mange more!!
#Surve’s is serving one of the best mutton/ chicken thali's needs no introduction. It has recently introduced a Tandoori section. The menu offers the regular thali, al a carte starters and mains, Biryani’s and I also read Mutton Dalcha. Interesting....
This awesome weather demanding a bowl of warm simple Alni soup, tandoor starters, a comfortable place where you can sit for ages, watch the rain thru the window, enjoy some quality time with loved ones.
So I followed my Dil...came here with my better half, and my two growning up kids.
The Camp branch has a warm ambience, spacious, with party sections and a regular section. Seating is also spaced out and individual privacy guaranteed.
Looking around, I observed that apart from the local Punekari, there were many customers coming from different states of India and abroad. The location is apt to have a business meet with a client or team building (boasting) lunches or birthday/anniversary celebrations or a quick bite
I began with the warm soup, enjoying the taste while my Tandoori starters were getting prepared.
#Reshmikebabs. : Came soft, creamy, succulent and grilled to perfection. A squeeze of lime and I found it yummy. #musthave
#ChickenTikka : The most popular item from the Mughlai cuisine. It was full on flavors. It was overdone and dry.
#ChickenAlni… soulfood, simple and perfect. It acted as a pallet cleanser between the food that was coming to the table.
#TheckaChicken…Hirvya Mirchi Cha thecha wrapped around juicy pieces was delicious. This is made in most Maharashtrian homes, it’s comfort food, so for me the not so much heat from chillies works. Finger licking.
#MuttonCholeykebabs : When the dish arrived, it won my heart. Soft chunky boneless pieces of mutton were to die for. Absolutely well marinated . Definitely must have.
The special #chickenthali was a killer. Best Satara recipe. Contains sizable pieces of meat in the chicken masala, alni chicken, chicken kheema and red Rassa with onion raita, bhakri and rice. And they allow you to share a thali between two.
Fantastic Mutton (Goat) Thali with amazing service and ambiance. Staff makes sure that every Customer goes with full satisfaction. Loved it :)
Good place and nice ambiance, for all those who loved Surve’s food but also craved for a better seating at FC Road branch. The place is tastefully done. The staff is super courteous and helpful. The food has always been good. This time, I specially liked the kheema-mutton fry. As against the regular Kheema that tastes a bit sweet due to extra onions, the kheema-mutton fry was just right for me. I can endure high spice levels, and hence loved the egg masala.
Good ambience. I think the food was costlier than the other places that serve Kolhapuri food. But I would go back again as the quality of food and general hygiene of the place was great. Quantity served seemed less but it was sufficient as a meal.
Pandhra rassa is missing from usual Kolhapuri cuisine and This should be served unlimited. (I didn't ask and they didn't tell).
Mutton Kheema thali, Mutton Thali and Chicken Special Thali were good and the review is based on these items and ambience. Pulao rice in Thali is good!
A nice restaurant for all non veg lovers. Most of the things are cooked in Indian rather Marathi style. Really nice to see desi flavors in all their meals. We tried special chicken thali that had chicken kheema, rassa, 1 egg, 2 chicken dishes.
All this in 500 bucks. Real value for money.
A place you would definitely like to visit again n again for non veg foodies as said it's purely non veg.. a very good ambience.. definitely a good service by Thier members ..
True feast and amazing variety : strictly non veg 😊👍🏽 simple and elegant decor. Excellent ambience with strong basics and amazing food variety with wonderful taste.
One of the best places to have authentic marathi non veg food. They have some amazing variety of dishes in chicken, mutton and fish lover. The food is fresh cooked, quality and quality is good, prices are decent.
The place is well maintained, staff is friendly.
Is a family place.
The only issue is the parking as you need to roam a lot to get some space for your vehicle, rest everything is taken care of.
Reservations recommended at rush hours.

The ambience is Unique. There is a India style seating place, so that would be my choice of place. The Thali is good and ample for a person. You won't be able to with the second roti. Cheers and have a good time.
Totally loved this place and would definately go again...
You will have to find a parking on the streets as they don't have their own ... They have a huge seating space. Washrooms are clean. They have AC seating.
Staff is helpful.
They serve both goat and sheep meat .. we always like to have thalis but this time decided to go with ala carte ... And it worked out very well.
We had ordered the following things -
Mutton soup - RS 30 for half a serving and it was very tasty
Kharda Chicken - chicken pieces were well cooked and we asked them to make it medium spicy.
Alani mutton starter - it was tender and soft and felt heaven on the first bite.
Jatra mutton full- this is their signature dish. Quantity is huge and would serve for 7 to 8 people costs 1000 bucks. So it is hot and spicy mutton curry along with minced mutton (kheema) . Mutton pieces were big in size and cooked very well. Taste was just perfect. Most places serve curry which is just spicy or has onion and garlic dominating taste.
This is a perfect curry with right amount of spices and thickness of curry.
Overall wonderful experience. Waiting time can be huge so be there on time.
Surve is THE Number 1 place for authentic, tradional maharashtrian mutton thali hands down. Idhar nahin khaaya toh kya khaaya. For my family mutton thali means Surve's, period!!!

Authentic taste of mutton
Is very GOOD ambience
Though in cantonment area has a marathi taste
Recommended to have a mutton Handi with separate gravy and separate fry mutton (less oily)
Taste is a mixture of Ghar ka Mutton and outside food. They only serve mutton and chicken. its a pure non veg restaurant however they serve veg food from Bharat Tarachand which is a good part for vegetarians.
Taste: 4.5

Best place to have maharashtrian Non Veg. You can try Chicken thali or chicken handi.
Awesome taste. Cost is high but taste is awesome. must try SPECIAL mutton thali.
Thali is complete with bread, rice, a meat dish, pickles, raita and curry. Great tasting food.
If u want some good authentic Maharastrain Non Veg Food. Specially Mutton, Then there is no other place better than this. The restaurant is great for professional lunch or Family get together. It checks all the boxes.
Good ambience.
Good service.
Food Quality is excellent.
Good Value for money. ( Good Portion size).
Even though we reached at at around 3:40 PM, the service was surprisingly good.
We had to order chicken as mutton was out of stock till then. We ordered half chicken handi, bhakari and half indrayani rice. Quantity was way more than what we expected.
Taste was awesome. Hygiene was good. Ambience was interesting.
Overall a must visit place.

It's an amazing place to have mutton in Pune, one of the place I found in Pune where you can say they have delicious mutton. combination of bhakri and mutton is amazing you will love it. usually crowded on weekends but worth to wait if waiting is there. There are chances if you are dining late in night you will not get mutton as happened once with me. they also offer tasty chicken.
But I'll recommend you shoud try mutton thali or al a carte basis.
You will enjoy you lunch/dinner here.
Place is easily noticable from the road it's just above the R bhagatchand.parking is also available but it's paid parking.
If you are vegetarian in your friend / family circle don't go with them as you will not get any veg item here as name says pure nonveg.
One of the best part of this hotel is it's a pure nonveg and on ground floor R bhagtchand which is pure veg resturant.
You shoud try once atleast there mutton, in Pune people recommend many places to have authentic mutton but most of the place will disappoint you but not this place.

Another Good Place for Authentic Maharashtrian Mutton Speciality
Mutton Alani and Thecha a must try and Thali is as always The Best !
If you're looking for great ambience too along with Food get to FC Road branch
Located on East Street, offers excellent non vegetarian dishes. All dishes are good. Paid parking is available. No valet parking. Does not cater to vegetarians. Must visit place for meat and chicken dishes. Thali is recommended
