So I had a craving to eat crabs for a long time as it's my all time favourite and wasn't sure as to which place serves it good. While looking for options on Zomato, came across this place called The Coconut Tree. It had great reviews and highest ranking. We were late for lunch hence called the restaurant to inform them as we didn't want the last minute shock. Ordered Crab in ghassey curry and one prawns dish with Neer Dosa and Appams. Both the dishes were flavourfully yummilicious. Even now my mouth is watering thinking about it. It was simply Wow!!!
Staff is very prompt and courteous. Though we were the only ones eating there being last customers, still we ate peacefully relishing every morsel.
Price is slightly more than economical but trust me worth every penny.

I am speaking from my personal experience. I went on a date here and me and my girlfriend love sea food. We tried Kundapur Tawa fish which was served grilled and was marinated with original kundapuri masala paste, it tasted heaven. Fish tawa fry was also delish.
Gosh, I had my office party here and this was surely the best party ever. This huge fine dining place is so good and I checked the menu throughout and found it really interesting. I mean, the prices are not too much high and you get such amazing food and the variety is appealing. Tried Coconut Patli Biryani with Mutton and the quantity was good but most importantly the taste was excellent. Dakshini curry is my favourite mains dishes from now.

And was not disappointed to say the least. The fish fry ( rajamandri ) , fish curry, sea shell gassi manglorean style ( yummy), tandorri nizami handi ..uff( (andhra chicken dry, neer dosa, appam)
Unreal ambience, soothing music..perfect on the pockets ( had quite a few coctails, all good).. did not feel the pinch i expected , specially considering what service and food we got. One thong thoigh, service a little slow, place was packed, sp get more staff. Even than, loved it
My friend took me to this place and we both were in awe after seeing the ambience. This place is very classy and one of the best when it comes to fine dining. The service, here, is amazing and staff is very humble. Their tandoori starters are superb and I tried Salooni Fish tikka which was perfect in every sense as the flavors were good and it was perfectly barbecued. Malvani chicken kebab is also a must order dish in starters.
If you are a non-vegetarian and specifically wants to try something delicious and different, this place is definitely for you. I never knew sea food and south indian food can be this much good. The ambience here will steal your heart. Coming to food, Kundapur Kurkure Prawns; it was deep fried perfectly and the indian spices and garlic paste made it better, the combination was perfect. Malabar curry is a must try in their main course.
I am in love with this place and I think one should definitely visit this fine dining restaurant and bar. The sea food, Mangalorean and Kerala food here is absolutely heaven. Andhra Banana leaf Patli appetizer in which I selected Prawns was amazing. Their fish platter is also very good and I just loved the taste and presentation. My friends and I had the best experience over here.
We went to Coconut Tree for their Kerala Food Festival. The place is huge with different seating areas. The staff is very courteous and knowledgeable about the food served.
Edward took care of the service and helped us gain more insight about the food. We tried Surmai Kerala Ghee Roast, Talasani Chicken Biryani, Kottanagan Konchu Pali along with Appam and Neer Dosa. Sol Kadi was good enough to wash down all the delicious food. Malai Pan Kulfi was a perfect treat to end the meal.
Very tasty food really a good dining experience but they need to be quick in service. They took 45 min to serve starters and 45 min to serve main course 15 min to bring bill. Very high service time and that too on a afternoon can't imagine what would happen on a Friday or Saturday night
Service is great here and so is the decor. The food is good if not outstanding and quick. I was there for a monday night dinner so not sure if that was the reason for quick service. The faalooda is really good here.

It is a place where you can enjoy watching the current ongoing sports match going live. I went during the time of IPL and enjoyed watching the game with the starters which were excellent.
The Bamboo Biriyani is a must try, which most of my group members liked apart from 2. Would advice unless you are keen to try out something new dont go for it.

This place really revitalize the taste buds. The ambience is great, staff friendly and the palate delectable. The place really offers great south Indian cuisine which is quite different from other places and on top of it tastes really awesome. The restaurant has two storey ground floor and 1st floor. Ground floor is simply reserved for bar and first floor is dine and drinks. They recommended us to visit 1st floor. You need to take stairs crossing over some metal sheets as decor. It's damn spacious with many seating and few spl corner seating promoting go green. The coconut tree has seating for group , whole family , and table for 2 sort of people. Bar view is awesome. Since it's ipl season , ipl match was shown entertaining the guest.

This restaurant is specialized in coastal non veg food. They serve varieties of non veg dishes including sea food and chicken.
I visited this restaurant for a lunch on Saturday afternoon. They have 2 level seating arrangement with very beautiful and attractive ambiance. First thing which attracts is the ambiance of this place. They are very creative in making it, right from the slogans on the walls to beautiful paintings and lights on the ceiling. They have arranged live screening as well during IPL on giant screen.
So, here's my food review. I tried few non-veg dishes.
- Surmail Kundapur Tawa Fry: This was fish fry of surmai fish. The fish was perfectly cooked with masalas. It was very tasty felt like I am eating fresh fish on sea-shore.
- Madurai Pepper Chicken: The chicken starter I tried, it was very tasty and filled with masala. Chicken was good.
- Coconut Special Chicken Andhra Biryani: This was chicken biyani with andhra style. Rice was perfectly cooked and chicken was tender and juicy. Enjoyed every bite of it. This is highly recommended.
- Prawns Ghassi: This was one of the main course dish made up of prawns. Gravy was very good with bit of a coconut in it. Liked it.
- Surmai Attu Curry: Yet another main couse dish full of gravy and fresh surmai fish. Fish was in good quantity and it was tatsy.
- Appam, Neer Dosa: Both were good.
Along with that tried some of the mocktails like Watermelon Basil Mojito, Apple mojito and coconut milk. All were good.
Overall, very nice place to visit if you are sea food lover. Ambiance is one of the best in town.

Very courteous and friendly staff, great ambience, good music, super delicious and well served food.. we order a combination of veg n nonveg dishes, namely mutton guntucurry, veg Maratha, veg Akbari, paneer achari kebab, veg Andhra chilly was too good.... Fantastic Food and quick service. Had Surmai Tawa Fry - Fish was fresh and nicely cooked. Nizami Handi Chicken(starter) was the best, and finally Goan Curry with Neer dosa was also good. Overall fantastic.

Food they served here was so yumm that I was wishing to have more but I have to look after my health so I didn't gone for more. Washrooms are good. The point was though I had a zomato gold, the staff took a lot of time to confirm the deal. We ordered veg food and the presentation was good and the paneer was really soft and fluffy. regarding the service, this definitely could be better. This place is famous for its amazing food, great ambiance with a unique seating arrangement.
Here sea food is served in a different South Indian style. Prawns Raj Mantri, Chicken Gonture Appam are outstanding dishes.
Variety of Mocktails like Watermelon basil mojito, Coconut tree punch & Iced tea are also a good try out options.
It's a bit costly but its worth trying owing to the quality of sea food they serve.

FOOD (4.5/5) - Food was so amazing we ordered a mix of veg and non-veg items. So yes being a vegetarian I recommend this place because they have a lot of good options in veg also. Although in there menu card you will find a lot of non-veg items they have a different veg menu. Try out their veg Galouti kebab they are mind Blowing. And other Andhra style cuisine also.

This place deserves some appreciation in terms of food. A mix of Andhra and Kerela cuisine is really explosive. They serve Appam, Malabar Parotta (Kerela Parotta) and the taste of curry is so good with them. They make good mocktails where I tried Ginger based, water melon based and Coconut based. All were amazing. We visited this place in the noon so can't really tell the night ambiance and the crowd but I am definitely planning for another visit. They do have valet parking available.
Been here twice. First time around the food was not very good and many of us were disappointed. But, we visited just yesterday and felt like a completely different place. The food was great especially the seafood and chicken. Vegens were happy too, this time around. Also there's 1+1 on drinks for gold users, that is added boon. Loved the appam (kind of bread). Overall, great place for corporate outings as well as friendly drinks and food. Cheers!

This restaurant is specialized in coastal non veg food. They serve varieties of non veg dishes including sea food and chicken.
I visited this restaurant for a lunch on Saturday afternoon. They have 2 level seating arrangement with very beautiful and attractive ambiance. First thing which attracts is the ambiance of this place. They are very creative in making it, right from the slogans on the walls to beautiful paintings and lights on the ceiling. They have arranged live screening as well during IPL on giant screen.
So, here's my food review. I tried few non-veg dishes.
- Surmail Kundapur Tawa Fry: This was fish fry of surmai fish. The fish was perfectly cooked with masalas. It was very tasty felt like I am eating fresh fish on sea-shore.
- Madurai Pepper Chicken: The chicken starter I tried, it was very tasty and filled with masala. Chicken was good.
- Coconut Special Chicken Andhra Biryani: This was chicken biyani with andhra style. Rice was perfectly cooked and chicken was tender and juicy. Enjoyed every bite of it. This is highly recommended.
- Prawns Ghassi: This was one of the main course dish made up of prawns. Gravy was very good with bit of a coconut in it. Liked it.
- Surmai Attu Curry: Yet another main couse dish full of gravy and fresh surmai fish. Fish was in good quantity and it was tatsy.
- Appam, Neer Dosa: Both were good.
Along with that tried some of the mocktails like Watermelon Basil Mojito, Apple mojito and coconut milk. All were good.
Overall, very nice place to visit if you are sea food lover. Ambiance is one of the best in town.

Everything was just perfect, I like my food to be over spicy, I instructed the chef and he made it just the way I wanted it to b 😃✌️
Place is good. Near to seasons mall. Ambiance is also nice and trendy. The main theme of all food mostly based on coconut. Different tatse and different way of serving. Liked the way things are kept and served. Service was slow compare to it was weekday. But food was worth a wait.
It's located just behind the suzuki showroom that is 5mins walk from Amanora /Seasons Mall. They have two floors and for I assume that the ground floor is used specifically for bar and drinks and that is why they ask you to go to the first floor for lunch. The decor is dim and cool with cozy lights and indoor plants. We went for lunch and ordered- Manglorean Ghee Roast (mutton), Kahi fish tikka tandoor (surmai), chettinadu roast prawns, Andhra Mutton Biriyani and Pineapple raita. The food quality was superb. Every taste was different and extremely well made. The mutton was amazingly soft and juicy, that one could have it with spoon so easily. The chettinadu flavour is really spicy one but still has a taste of its own. Quick service and cordial staff are the plus points apart from the food. The quantity is ok but in one word quality is what you need to concentrate on. Would surely recommend this one, though it's on the higher side of the price.
The Coconut Tree is placed at a very convenient placed if you are living or working nearby Magarpatta City. The ambience is good, suiting both elegant and contemporary guests. The have family seating for six people and then they have high tops chairs for the young crowd who may want enjoy their drink over a cricket or football match.
The have vallet parking and all the basic amenities required in a restaurant. The food is delicious and priced wisely but I felt the portion on the main course is a bit on lesser side. It will be better they add some more to the quantities so that two people can eat comfortablely by sharing. The drinks are also served which are moderately priced.
Full marks for ambience and service! The service offered here is genuinely very fast and commendable. Food is not bad at all. I'd say this place is slightly a bit on the higher side of prices, but overall, this is a must visit. Lots of variety of seafood and other dishes.

What a lovely place to visit with friends and family. Lovely ambiance along with some witty quotes on the wall. The sitting area is very spacious and the interior is well decorated and lit. Even the tables were innovatively designed and the coaster resembles the palm tree. They have the speciality of sea food, and coastal preparation along every corner of southern India. Butter Garlic Rawas was a fish preparation, the fish was very soft and tasty. Manglorean Prawns Chilly Fry was very delicious and crispy. Murg Afghani was more like tandoor preparation with butter over it. Malwani Murg Kebab was also good. Chicken Ghee Roast was also good. All these were appetizers. Dakshini Dry Chicken Curry was a gravy dish and the gravy was just mouth watering tasty. Had Neer Dosa with the curry, excellent combination. For deserts had Falooda Gadbad, another good choice and tasty. Fresh Fruits with Fresh Ice Cream was also good. The service was very good and they recommend all the good dishes. The sea food are bit expensive but are totally worth it otherwise all the dishes are very reasonable. This is a delightful place which is also pocket friendly.

Amazing place near Magarpatta.
There are very few places near Magarpatta that you feel like visiting. Most of them are in Amanora mall. Seasons Mall is also having TGIF and Cuba liber. But this place is neither in Amanora Mall nor in Seasons Mall and yet it stands out.
Like many others I came to know about this place from mouth publicity from the colleagues and decided to visit the place. The ambience is good. It feels classy as well as refreshing. Many of you will feel like being in a sports bar. Let's talk about the food, well, I don't remember what I had but it was some south Indian dishes. They were really good. From starters to main course, all was great.
This place is also great for families. The ambience and food is great. I would recommend this to families more as there is not good south Indian place like this nearby magarpattha.
From the drinks menu, I tried LIIT and beers. The LIIT was good and they had bits in both the flavor. The service was top notch. They even gave us a complimentary offer (buy 1 get 1) On the beer. So it's good for having drinks too, be it with family or friends. And if you get the offer, then it's pocket friendly too.
It's all about the vibes you have here. I really felt well attended and served. Food, drinks and ambiance all made the visit enjoyable. And if you ask me, would I recommend this place to others, then of course, a must visit place. 👍👍👍
A great place to see and eat what all can be done with coconut. Food is delicious and so is the ambience.
Coconut soup is must have delicacy, and the paan kulfi is great kulfi combination.
Valet parking is available, to my surprise car was ready at the gate once i came out of restaurant. Great management.
Really great food. Amazing food for both veg and non veg lovers. Great taste. An absolute value for money. They serve in the best form. Perfect ambience with cool jazz music. We went during afternoon so it was completely vacant. You might expect some rush in evening hours.
They have descent parking space. It can be easily spotted from the road.

This restaurant is very close to seasons mall. The staff? Courteous. The ambience? Brilliant. The food? Delicious. The crab soup is very good. And the sea food is very fresh. Even the chicken is very tender and nice. A must try.
Every dish ordered, known or unknown, was a surprise. The chettinad biryani was the best, but recommended only for those who like it spicy. Seer fish tawa fry is the usual best. Gulab jamoon topped it off really well. Falooda could have been better
Ambience is too good, it's hygenic, food quality is too good. Karachi style biriyani and stuffed mushrooms were yummm. Happy with the service too :) . And yes mangalorean (Karnataka) food is also available, that's cool :)
Gem of a place in Magarpatta.Not many people know about this restaurant probably because its hidden from the main road, but it is indeed one the better restaurants in the area. The coastal food here is delicious. Dishes have authentic coastal spices and are flavorful. Great for a weekend get together with friends. The ambience is cozy and bar is decent
