Well this my favourite restaurant for having Veg food. A little expensive but worth spending on .
My fav dish is their signature dish papad churi , paneer chilly and butter roti . Must try place for all the vegetarians out there.
R Bhagat Tarrachand is a very good Vegetarian restaurant which serves very good North Indian and Chinese cuisine.
Ambiance is comforting and it is a very spacious place which makes it perfect for having small get togethers.
The Staff is very attentive, very humble and polite. They helped us with suggesting the food as we were visiting there for the first time.
We ordered Masala Papad, Chaas, Veg Sholley Kabab, Paneer Rowdy Tikka, Veg Maratha, Veg Dehati, and special ghee chapati. Each and everything was very delicious specially the chapati. The chapati were the yummiest chapati I have ever had.
Overall a very nice experience. Would definitely like to try its thali.

Located on East Street, this veg restaurant is quite spacious and serves thali as well as al carts. Today for lunch we went to try it’s limited veg thali. The quality was good and so was the flavour. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The server even offered us extra vada and did not charge us for that. It was good meal and by end we well so stuffed.
Extremely polite staff and lightning fast service. The food taste was absolutely spot on and no room for complaint. :)
We had ordered Desi Ghee special Roti, Veg Kolhapuri, Dal Double Tadka and Jeera Rice.
It's a bit on the expensive side but worth a visit!
Went for lunch.. they have huge indoor seating.. perfect for family and large groups.

I had been to this restaurant, while in Pune. It has nice ambience and courteous staff. Had jain food. Food was good but spicy.
Have been to a few R Bhagat Tarachand branches so far but liked this one the most.
Ambiance is comforting and they have a nicely arranged spacious place allowing you enjoy your meal with some privacy.
Staff is very humble, attentive and ready to help.
We ordered Jain thalis which has Sev tomato sabji, a paneer curry, bhindi fry, Papad ki churri, ghee chapati, rice, dal, chaas and gulab jamun. Everything on that plate for finger licking delicious.
This place is certainly recommended for anyone who loves traditional indian vegetarian food.

The food is just about good, without a doubt. This place is an all time favourite in Mumbai and Navi Mumbai have eaten at this legendary restaurant dozens of times. This is the first time in Pune though. Very mixed feelings : like I said the food is fantastic, but tastes better in Mumbai's restaurants hands-down. 1) The papad churi which is a staple is also different in Pune, quantity for sure and smells of some oil an aftertaste. 2) The legendary chapati both with ghee and without it is soft but lots of kachha bits on the side in all of 14 chapatis we ordered. It's just a turn off. 3) A huge huge turn-off is chipped plates (broken, stained too), you just can't expect this from such a high end place, we paid abt 3000₹ for 7 people including 2 kids only for main course. This is inspite we asking for the plates to be changed, please find pictures of plates replaced.
Also the service staff is great very pleasing to interact with, but the Captains in Blue shirts seemed rude and taking offence to any queries, request or instructions, none of them were smiling for a strange reason on a day when the restaurant wasn't too full is baffling. Overall R Bhagat Tarachand in Pune Camp is okay to live the nostalgia (of Bombay restaurants) but may not visit the place anytime soon. It's also too fancy to my liking.

Been here a month back.This place is great for vegetarians! Their ghee chapati is amazing. It will melt in your mouth! Overall it was a good experience. What can be improved - 1. Starter was not up to mark!! And 2. The sweet dish... Big disappointment!! Else everything on plate was good.

Usually have a waiting time of 30 minutes but lucky enough to get a table with a wait time of merely 19 minutes
This place was in our go-to-place list since long time. Finally, we got the chance to visit on Saturday evening. Although we haven't booked our table beforehand, but we got the seats after few minutes of waiting time only. Now, come to food. We wanted to try many things here but since we were only 2 so was able to try only few. Ordered aamras (summer speciality), chaas (we ordered 1 glass only, although they also have a option to order 1 full bottle), sev tomato sabji, matar paneer, missi roti and bajra roti. Aamras was superb in taste, chaas was good too. Sev tomato sabji we tried first time, it was little sour in taste and I think its suppose to be like that. Although nice in taste. Matar paneer and missi roti again was good. Bajra roti was not pure bajra but nice in taste. Overall a good experience. Not out of the world, but nice north Indian food. P.S. If someone wants, they have jain option available too.
It’s always a vegetarian delight and hearty meal here .. certainly don’t miss Sev tomato veg, special roti laded with Amul butter and off course mung dal halwa.. hold on ! butter milk too

Good food - we ordered a thali which was good but their ala-carte food tastes way better( have tried at another outlet) and is of great quality. But the staff members are very nice and polite and always smiling and ensure you're served on time. Will go again, but for ala - carte.
Love this place for the food and the verity they have. My favourite is the paratha loaded with butter, just melts in your mouth. The paneer lahsooni was mouth watering, the dal makhni was perfect and on top of that the chaas is simply delicious. Overall never disappointed visiting this place. Been to both the locations.

I came to know about R Bhagat Tarrachand from my neighbor who sings high praises. Since, their earlier place was in Peth area, so could never visit them.
Other day, while coming from MG road, saw their sign board and was very happy. Very next day, went there and had their famous Thali.
Always prefer Tawa chapatis over Tandoori roti. Their butter chapatis are very good. Another thing that I like was unlimited Chas.

All n all, good value for money
Excellent ambience with polite, helpful and prompt staff. Their rotis and chappatis are very soft. Specially the shikarpuri special phulkas are terrific. All the bhajis are of generous proportions and full of vegetables.
Wonderful ambience with mouth watering food .. awesome starters and very known for indian food along with varieties of roti like missi roti , special roti , etc they also serve chaas bottle which is again very yummiee .. the sabjis are very tasty and they have a delicious flavour .. not very expensive must visit
A must visit place if you love vegetarian food. The butter milk during summer is too good along with food. I loved the dal very much and roti too is good for kids or everyone. Nice place to visit for Sunday lunch with family and relatives.
The thalis here are worth the money. They range between 240-280 before taxes and have 3-4 curries and a dessert. The thalis have limited serving which may seem less at first glance but is actually very filling. One is free to take as much as rice or as many rotis as they can eat.
I visited this place with my family yesterday. The place is brightly lit up. There was hardly any crowd may be as it was a weekday, just our family along with two others. The food was quite good n service is quick. It was my first visit to this place, i was quite satisfied. Overall a decent place.
The brilliant thing about bhagat tarachand is that you can expect the same quality at any branch and be assured that your food is healthy and homely. In my previous experience(in Mumbai) bhagat tarachand was more of my daily lunch place but I was fairly surprised that the pune branch decides to do things a lil differently. The service at this branch is top notch and food is brilliant too. Nothing better than bt if you’re missing a lil home food.
It is always a delight to visit RBT every now and then to feast on amazing Veg Indian food, be it Gujarati / Punjabi this place is suitable for both.

One of the best places for vegetarians to go with family and friends. Ambiance is great and service is quick. We tried Veg Peshavari, khichiya fried and chilly Milly kebabs. The best thing was desserts, Kesar Pista Kulfi. A pinch on your pocket but worth a visit 😊

Good ambience and good service. We had thali which consists of 3 vegetables, dal, phulka, 1 sweet, jeera rice and some farsan.
The best thing you get here is chhas. You'll not get such quality of chhas anywhere in the city.

Its a popular brand of Mumbai .. newly opened in Pune ,Camp. Today I went for lunch with my friend. As it’s a festival season and we went at pick hours there was so rush .. We got a table after 15 minutes .. The interior was so pleasant .. Nicely decorated place with antiques like Tambora , The old style door and many more traditional things !! The staff was so prompt and the service was also fast!! But frankly speaking the food was not that much awesome so that one can visit again and again !! We ordered Mix Veg Kolhapuri which was not that much spicy and lack of adequate quantity of salt!! The Dal was also less salty!!

The food is amazing. Specially the Bhindi fry. Tried out Sindhi Kadi, it was good but not upto to the mark. Should try and improve on it. Apart from it, staff is very quick and courteous.

The food is good, we ordered hot n sour soup, paneer pepper and stuffed tandoori aloo as starters. For mains we ordered fulka with corn Palak, daal makhni, and paneer mutter.
Daal and corn Palak was the best.
We also ordered the infamous “Kacchi beer”, which is always a delight to have.
The waiting time was too long, not expected from a place running smooth like this.
Waiters were courteous, though very busy and wouldn’t come back till score of minutes.

A lavish restaurant, I'm in love with the interior they have. Located in camp, it attracts many people. One of the finest restaurants with great yummy food. I had the best starter here. From starters we have ordered Paneer manchurain, which was mediacore and veg kumba,which has my heart. This is the most delicious and Scrumptious starter I ever had😋😋😋. Soups were not that bad, Manchow soup is yum. From main course I had so many dishes like Paneer amritsari, kajumasala, Jeera rice, Dal kichdi and Dal makhni. Go for Paneer amritsari, if you prefer spicy. Kaju masala was tasteless and overall food was good. Excited to visit this place again and eat veg kumba😋😋😋❤️

I had tried the unlimited veg thali.All the food items served were absolutely delicious.In starters , aloo tikki was served which was crispy and tasty.The paneer butter masala was creamy and flavoursome.I recommend this restaurant to all veg and thali lovers.
Surprisingly good stuff available here. Reluctantly visited and came back reasonably satisfied. Nice ambience, staff and quick service. Importantly, the food is good. Veg lovers paradise I guess. We had manchow soup, hara bhara kabab, paner tikka, their ghee laced roti, veg manchurian, daal and mixed veg and definitely recommend this place.
Had gone for an afternoon lunch for the first time to the camp branch! I have been visiting Bhagat Tarrachand since childhood the Laxmi road one! N I personally love the food out here! Enjoying the special roti with any sabji out there! With papad churi! And Chaas bottle! Good family place! With decent ambience! Service staff was polite! Though got the food a bit late! Overall a good place! Might get waiting on Sunday's. Visit on weekends for peaceful lunch or dinner! I would suggest prefer over a lunch on a holiday from your work, have some good food and a lot of Chaas and go off to sleep!!! You'll get the best of the sleep! 😜
Visited this place with my Mom after hearing a lot about it. we had Sev Tamata, dal fry and naans. Great taste. Simple and clean ambience. Would surely visit again if I get an Opportunity.
The food and Ambience at restaurant is good. The only veg restaurant draws huge crowds over the weekends and soon could lead to long wait times. Hence advised to reach a little early. Talking about food - we ordered tomato soup which I found very sweet. Then paneer chilly was good. Paneer thread is something new which I had not seen anywhere. It was kind of good with a single piece of paneer nestled in potato strands and Deep fried. Spring rolls were good too. For the main course we ordered veg kolhapuri which was not very spicy at all, desi ghee ki roti and Paneer Paratha which was OK. Over all I felt salt was less in all the food items. Strangely they do not have fruit juices on their menu. This was kind of a surprise to me. Also they have stopped serving momos as indicated by some other reviews here.

I’ve the oldest connections with this restaurant. As a child we would order from them every time I went to Mumbai to my uncle’s place.
Starting with their original restaurant near Crawford market in Mumbai, I’ve tried all their branches in Pune as well.
And the one in camp Just lives up to our expectations. Loved their food, especially their papad churi, aloo fry and special roti. It’s perfect if you wanna have a heavy lunch/dinner. It’s quite reasonably priced too- We paid Rs. 2121 for a dinner for 6 people. I still gave one star less because I would really appreciate if they cut down on the oil used in every dish. Other than that, PERFECT!

I had seen this place many times while passing by. I wish that I had visited this place earlier. I'm not a fan of Veg. food when dining out but this place is a good one.
The hotel is situated on 1st floor and you have to go there by lift. There is a waiting place outside with some sofasets. The dining place is huge with many tables and nice ambiance.
We went here 15 minutes before closing but the staff welcomed us and saw that nothing was done half heartedly.
Now going to the main thing, we had :-
Paneer tikka masala - The paneer was soft and juicy. The gravy was perfect. Paneer was cooked properly.
Dal tadka - This was the best dal tadka I ever had. The taste was too good. It was different than usual dal tadka I had tried. It had fried onion in it and it tasted too good. A must try.
Veg biryani - The biryani was on point with perfect proportions of veggies and masala. The raita was good too.
Overall a pleasing experience. Would visit this place if I ever have to eat veg food ;).

I had heard a lot about this place and wanted to try the Thali and it was worth the wait and lived up to the expectations. Absolutely loved the Gildan jamun. The ambience is nice and gives a nice feel of fine dine restaurant. The staff is courteous and very polite. A very pleasant experience.
I think it is a heaven for the veg lovers. They serve some lip snacking vegetarian food. This branch is better located than their laxmi road one. Very clean and hygienic place with amazing service. One should try their punjabi food along with the ghee phulka that they serve.
Ambience wise the place is really good. Waiters and the captain are very polite. They welcome u in a very good way. Food is very delicious, had ordered Hara Bhara Kebab, Paneer Lababdar.

Very good food. Their pulkas are so yummy you can just go on eating them. Very good customer service and they make you feel very special . Their dessert chocolate brownie with icecream is the best. Hot brownie with cold icecream served with hot chocolate on top toooo good.

Good food and ambience. This is a pure veg Gujarati style restaurant. Their Thali is famous and they also have other veg dishes on their menu.
Sumptuous delicacy. Dal and jira rice, mug dal halwa and butter milk was exceptional. Ambience and service is good.
