Their Bollywood nights are rocking.i brought in my birthday there. The food used to be much better now the taste seems to differ. I wish they could have a lil better crowd on the Bollywood night..usually it's quite elite but during Bollywood I noticed some rogue crowd. All in all I will have a fantastic time

One of the most famous and sought after place on weekends, Local Gastro Bar is a must visit place. This place is located on the 6th floor of Kapila matrix among a number of happening pubs and bars. Valet parking is available. It is medium sized place with comfortable and wel spaced tables. The ambience is great and the atmosphere is electric at night with live dj and peppy beats. I visited this place on a friday night with my friends. We booled a table well in advance which proved to be the right choice. Local specalizes in serving all the booze at real cheap prices along with bar snacks. We ordered Retired General Sareen's Chilly ( chiken chilly), Park Street Chiken Kathi Rolls, Paneer Chilly, Steam Peanuts, French Fries along with Margherita Pizza. The chiken chilly was the highlight of the starters. Lovely. Soft chiken along with perfect spices. Great. Paneer chilly was great as well. The Park street kathi rolls were again great. Beautifully cooked chiken along with loads of veggies served with a side of fries. Great. The french fries and steam peanuts were good as well. Among mocktails, we ordered a number of drinks like Virjin Mojito, Pomegranate Spritzer, Fruity Smoothie. Virjin Mojito was right on the money. Fresh and minty. Fruity Smoothie was a bit of a let down. It failed to impress us. Pmoegranate Spritzer was again refreshing. The staff is very polite, humble and efficient. The service is fast. Quality of food is top notch. Acceptable quantity. Prices are reasonable. You get booze at real cheap prices with all the offers going on. They don't have a separate dance floor but there's enough place between tables. The music is bit too loud. Its very difficult to communicate. Also the food menu is very limited. Overall a great place to party with your friends.

We went on a Friday night in a group of around 15.
The place is quite spacious. It has indoor and outdoor seating. The seating is really creative.
Ambience is great. The washroom interior is also decorative.
In food we had chicken tikka, tandoori prawns, chicken chilli, paneer chilli, potato crisps, paneer tikka and all were good in taste and presentation.
We got the offer of 1 on 1 for drinks. All the mocktails and cocktails were good. We had martini, berry berry, kiwi smash. They served everything really well.
Coming to the DJ, it was bollywood night which started after 10:30 but was a disappointing. The DJ was okayish and did not maintain the pace.
Overall a good place for party !!

This is my first experience here. Great ambience and good music choice. Service was quite cool by guys called srinivas. Not need to suggest these guys much but little one from my side of they can make separate spaces for sitting and dance floor.
Its the best place and i guess this is the only place where you can see crowd on weekends as well as on weekdays. The most upbeat and happening pub in koregaon park. The djs are awsome. The food is also nice , we ordered pizza.

The overall experience at Local Gastro was very nice. The food was good. The service was really excellent and on time. We had an issue with one of the drinks and the staff was helpful enough to understand and replace the drink. Ambience could be slightly better. But I find this place value for money and would not hesitate to visit again.
5/5 for cocktail. The Rum based Pinacolada was superb! Visited here on the day of a Stand up Event, good arrangement and well managed throughout. Tried a few munchies from Starters and a Margherita pizza, no complaints, was just about right or regular. The vibe is of a typical weekend-party lounge with loud music, crowd and bright lights inside. The highlight however was their offer- two on 1 smthn on hard drinks, check it out, was a weekday though for me!

A very late review but review worth the wait too.
So, went to Local Gastro Bar Hinjewadi, a newly opened location. Was supposed to be here with friends but somehow Pune rains ruined it, since I was already there thought of continuing with my plan.
In terms of ordering food and beverage ordered a Virgin Mojito Mocktail ( been a non alcoholic guy). In the food section though been a non vegetarian I can still attack the vegetarian segment too😝😝. So ordered Crispy corn, cheese corn croquettes, chicken tikka and chicken chilli all for me n for the bhukkad in me😝.
Talking about the Virgin Mojito Mocktail it was absolutely what it was suppose to be as it retained the adequate amount of required sugar syrup, crushed mint leaves n lemon. Otherwise at many places one would get Virgin Mojito either dominated sugar syrup which makes it tooo sweet or too minty or lemony taking the taste away. All kudos to the bartender
Coming to the food segment starting from the veg segment ordered crispy corn which is the perfect chakna I would say nicely fried to retain that firm crispyness. Second was cheese corn croquettes which had me by surprise, it was a perfect blend cheese and corn perfectly mixed together in right ratio perfectly coated and than deep fried and served hot which gave me melting cheese moment. Now coming to my favourite starters Non- vegetarian. Chicken tikka was super delicious with such succulent chicken pieces perfectly marinated and cooked under perfect heat which literally made them melt inside my mouth. Otherwise many a places one would see tikka pieces hanging already half cooked just waiting for customer's to order them which simply takes away the juiciness from the chicken or sometimes chicken tikka served half cooked. Second was my all time favorite chicken chili which was perfectly cooked with adequate amount of condiments and again juicy chicken here too.
Overall feedback about the food what I had was absolutely perfect. In terms of the service great.
Talking about the venue it was fabulous. I was solo but still enjoyed it the food, ambience and music was good. A must go to place solo or with a group too.
