The quality of the roll in this place hasnt changed since 15 years or more. The rolls are absolutely divine. Would be good to have a non spicy option for people that can't stand the spice in the chicken masala. The pudina chutney here is out of the world. Quick food on the go.

a) Simple rolls with not a plethora of ingredients. But fabulous taste. Just A roll with one egg , some chicken pieces , few onion rings, green chutney bland a dash of lime juice.
b) The guy making the rolls works like a machine! These guys know their stuff.

d) good value for money.
Cons
a) You might have to wait a while to get your order. It's crazy crowded even at 9 PM in the night.

You have to visit the place in person to taste it and the second is they accept the payment only in cash. So before visiting the place ensure that you have enough of cash available with you.
Since we were a group of people, we got a chance to order different types of rolls such as paneer, chicken, egg and double Chicken roll. The authenticity in taste is what I loved the most. Unlike other rolls restaurants, this place gives you enough when it comes to quality and quantity of food. The green chutney added in the roll ensures that the roll is fullfilling your taste buds of having spicy food.

Lots of Sauce, veggies and too spicy that is what came to our mind when we think of rolls but KATHI ROLLS are way unique in every way. The real taste of chicken and veggies are what we experienced in every single bite. Just amazing experience.

Id read about this place online and I had to visit it.
I paid a visit on Saturday evening and there was a lot of rush. A open kitchen and counter,you can get a glimpse of how the rolls are made. The outside area is setup with 2-3 tall tables.
I tried the chicken kathi kebab roll(single filling)
Slightly spicy,and high on flavour. The chicken was succulent and properly cooked.
Really happy with the quantity served for 110 Rs.
Service took about 10 minutes.
It's not easy to get a parking here.

I tried paneer roll which was good and I also tried chicken kathi kebab roll which comes with an egg wraped around the maida roti filled with chicken kathi kebab and it was awesome. The BEST CHICKEN KATHI ROLL in Pune. It's much much better than the over-hyped kathi rolls of Mumbai. Some ppl who have commented here have no real knowledge of food. Pls don't get fooled by the number of followers they have. Now some brainless duds are wondering why there's no mayo in it ! This place serves fairly decent quality chicken kathi roll. This is more like a franky than a kathi roll. The roti is soaked in oil and has a layer of egg with it. It has no seating options and is more on the lines of a takeaway joint. Don't go there expecting your conventional kathi rolls.
One of the best place for rolls in town. The stuffing they use is very delicious. Service is good and there is no ambience as such. You have to enjoy the food standing at a table or adjust yourself at the small corner edges for sitting.

This is the best place to enjoy Kathi roll. Pocket friendly place. Just one drawback that you do not have place to sit. Chicken tikka without roll is must try dish here with green chutney and onions. There is no compromise in taste. I am having here since 2007.
Their aloo paneer roll, ufff uff uff! Absolutely mind blowing lip smacking stuff.
They break an egg on a layered parantha over the hot tawa. Add their magical aloo paneer stuffing after mincing it. Drizzle some of their green chatni on top. Serve piping hot on a simple plate.

Tired of oily rolls, this one came as a pleasant surprise what with it's crisp flaky rolls with generous chicken and stuffing inside. The guy behind the counter, during those days, used to be friendly and comply with our requests. A walk in dp would necessitate us to gorge on a chicken or two at this place. Subsequently we should wash it down with a chilled cold drink.

Kapila kathi kabab, a legendary name in Pune when it comes to special kathi kababs. There are not many places in Pune serves kathi kababs and from the very few, this is one of the best (for me its the on the same level as Karim's from camp, now renamed as Olympia kababs). This place is running since long time, easy to find, every single person will know the address, there is Kapila executive hotel, kapila sandwich and kapila ice cream on the same street, its like a kapila street now.
Ambiance: This is a normal shop where you will get the kathi kabab and you will have to stand and eat and go. There are no chairs, only high round tables to put your plates and there are tissues and mint chutney bottles on every table. Nothing much to speak about here.
Service: Very quick. The menu is short, everything is ready and they make it in bulk quantity so waiting time is really less. The only time it takes to coat the roti with egg and then fill it with the chicken. Good service I would say.
Food: Now, lets come to the actual interesting part. The menu is very short, 2 options for vegetarians, paneer roll and aloo roll. 2 options for non vegetarians, chicken kathi kabab and chicken tikka. They also serve egg roll for the egg lovers.
Best bet here is the chicken kathi kabab (single filling / double filling). If you are really hungry then only go for the double filling otherwise single filling would be more than enough to satisfy your urge of chicken :) The quantity is good for the price we pay, they serve a big roti, coated with egg, roasted on tawa, stuffed with traditional coriander and mint chutney and thinly sliced onions. OMG, the combination is so damn yum, roll is juicy, mildly spiced, chicken pieces are nicely sized, cooked to perfection, tender and soft, its just way too good to explain. One needs to try out in person.
Now coming back to Paneer roll, its not at all satisfactory. Paneer is cooked nicely but the flavor somehow doesn't match the exceptions which are already set by chicken kathi kabab. Improvements can be done on the taste part for the vegetarians but the place is known for kathi kabab and you should try it out once.

The size of the roll shows how big a heart they have. I couldn't finish it. The chicken filling is too generous. Yes it is tasty, but I have had lot better. But it's still a good option. There aren't many places in the city that can deliver this kind of product.ย

We ordered chicken kathi kebab roll. It was combination of a white flour and lots of chicken chunks. They cover inner side of roti or tortillas you can say with egg omelet and loads it with spicy chicken chunks. It also contains mint and onions which given crunchyness. Was really very good.
Actually I was disappointed bcoz when it say kathi kebab ,I expected kathi kebab wrapped into tortillas but it was not like that.
They have very limited menus.
About ambience ,its a small outlet with tables outside ,no chairs or seating arrangements.
Service was quick.
Would like to visit it again to try another menu items.

For my every visit to Pune, I make sure to have Kathi rolls from here. Have tried rolls everywhere but never found one, like this.
The preparation for kebab starts from afternoon, which is easily visible. The aroma of the spices, chicken spreads in the vicinity when they cook. 1 Kathi roll, with single filling can fill you up. Kebabs are nice, juicy soft served with chopped onion, lemon juice, green chutney.
I can recommend this place to anyone... Seriouslly a must try.

The chef is a good friend who prepares the chicken overnight, does the marination and then cooks it to perfection. If you are visiting for the first time, try single filling Kathi kabab roll, oh and do not forget to ask freshly sliced onion and their signature pudina chutney! Awesome taste since last 20 years. I used to visit their KP outlet way back in 2004 and the taste has remained same. Great value for money Chicken Kathi Roll. The quantity of chicken stuffed is the maximum I have ever seen in any kind of wraps.
I wish they stop using unhealthy 'Vegetable Ghee' (Dalda) and change to oil.
