This is a perfect place for the non vegetarians... specialist in sea food and mocktails are awesome...the crowd is also nice...rawas sukkha is famous here so order that and Cinderella mocktail is famous over here so do try that, overall experience was good. Keep it up guys :)
Breakfast buffet is great. Food is tasty and affordable. Breakfast buffet is especially great value for money. Ambience is calm and nice although number of seats available are less.
It’s an amazing place for lovely sea food. The fish tikka and the bombil fry are amazing dishes. Similarly chicken tikka cheese balls and fish main course dishes are very well made. We recently celebrated my daughters birthday at their banquet hall and they have amazing food and service for upto 50 people. Highly recommended place

Ordered Chicken Schzwan fried rice the other day. It was delicious. The quantity was good too. The service was prompt too. Could have sent some more schzwan chutney.
Bay leaf is a new find for me! One of my colleagues came across it through google as one of the near by places to my workplace so that we could get there - lunch - return in about less than 2 hours. Sounded Carribean, this place serves multicuisine dishes - wide variety. We were four and i was the only veggie. Paneer started and Paneer Malwani i ordered - Gajar Halwa - Non veggeis ordered - Chicken Tandoori - Chicken Gavran - Chicket Boti (i may be wrong with the name here).... Veggie score - Paneer Malwani - 4/5, Starter - 3.5/5, Non Veggie stuff - 4/5.
The seating is also very comfortable and i like it.
This restaurant also has additional space for partying for about 50-60 people!

The Bay Leaf Restaurant and Bar in Mayur Colony, Kothrud is a delight for foodies. The place offers a variety of signature dishes in North Indian, Pan Asian and Indian Coastal cuisines while retaining the more popular and contemporary dishes. The seafood is a must try here. In addition to the food and hospitality, the ambiance too is a winner.
Set-up over two floors, the ambiance is pleasing to the eye and gives off a fine-dining vibe. The upper floor can be converted into a private dining area for larger groups or for gatherings to celebrate special occasions.
The Methi Malai Paneer, while well-made, had a slightly overpowering taste of the methi which stifled any flavors from the paneer or cream. A dish that mainly methi fans would appreciate. On the other hand, the Stuffed Mushrooms sported some juicy and earthy flavors.
The Butter Garlic Prawns had a lovely crunch to the prawns, and exhibited some good flavors of the garlic but lacked the sauce and buttery taste. Probably a little more of the buttery sauce would’ve done the trick.
The Rozali Kebab had generous portions of minced chicken stuffing and oozy cheese enveloped in a layer of cooked chicken however the stuffing could've been a tad juicier. The accompanying mint chutney does offer some additional moisture though.
Bay Leaf has recently started corporate meal deliveries at extremely reasonable rates ranging from Rs. 80 to Rs. 240 for vegetarian and from Rs. 90 to Rs. 260 for non-vegetarian.
In the meal combos, we tried the Malwani Chicken Meal Box which has kombdi wade, steamed rice and sol kadhi along with the malwani chicken as well as a meal box with Murgh Mirch ki Karamat and Chicken Tikka.
The chicken chunks were perfectly cooked in both combos with the masala proportions on point.
With an impressive ambiance, delectable food and good offers on the bar as well, Bay Leaf certainly offers a fine dining experience beyond just food.
We had birthday party planned here with around 14 odd friends , we were given a separate dinning hall with good music. Ambiance is good , taste is above average (veg) . Staff is friendly . Service is fast too.
If you're a non vegetarian looking for good quality food, then bay leaf is the best bet. They have an elaborate menu.
We had butter garlic prawns, served in a cocktail glass. Prawns were great in taste and the quantity was enough for two people. A little bit salty and the butter garnish dripped all the way down to the cocktail glass hence we had to pour it seperately after serving. My suggestion would be, instead of the fancy presentation, they can serve the prawns simply so that the prawns will soak the garnish properly!
Cream of chicken soup was delicious and not too thick, just the way I like. Had enough chunks of chicken and was served hot.
Corn tikki was a letdown. It was too grainy and tasteless and was not crispy at all.
Cheese chicken kebabs, were amazing. Had two sides of flavours! When you start savouring the cheesy flavours, you can start tasting the spicy chicken part of it! Simply amazing!

I have been quite a frequent visitor to Bay Leaf, which serves good Indian, Chinese and Sea Food.
Location: Located on Karve road, just at the entrance of Mayur Colony, this restaurant is easy to locate. They have a parking facility available in the basement.
Ambience: There are two levels in the restaurant and the interiors of both the levels are very well done. The lighting, seating and the soft music in the background enhance your dining experience. Even though it's a restaurant with a bar, you will find many families/couples visiting this restaurant.
Service: The service is prompt and you won't have to wait for long before getting served. The staff is helpful and attentive albeit a bit naive.
Value for Money: Undoubtedly, that's the USP of this restaurant! The cost is reasonable and the quantity they offer is quite good.
Food: The preparation is nice and below would be my recommendations:
Manchow Chicken Soup: Thick, spicy, tangy and well balanced soup with a zest of ginger-garlic served with fried noodles.
Murg Rosali Kebab: Six pieces of chicken kebab stuffed with minced chicken - a must try preparation.
Murg Patiyala: Medium spicy minced chicken wrapped in an omelette.
Overall, do give this restaurant a try. It's a good place for a family get together or functions.

Bay Leaf Restaurant & Bar is a cozy romantic place,
The interiors of which are done with quite a lot of grace..
The food here tastes good, the service is prompt and fine,
You can gossip as much as you want, with whisky, rum or wine..
For lunch, we had Veg Patiala with Mini Naan Platter,
The quantity is quite filling for two, but for Bhukkhads it doesn't really matter..
The Bay Leaf GadBad Icecream was too good and made me go yay,
Such good food along with perfect ambiance, just made my day..!!

forgot to send machurian in the combo. but made up for it by sending whole order of combo again.
Food was awesome at taste. The freshness the chopped vegetables had was something I never got at any other Chinese Restaurant. Only the thing is that the quantity of the the Combo was not as expected but quality was great.

I've been here a couple of times and have good experiences every time. The food is good. I especially enjoyed the quality of chicken, fresh and soft.
The ambience is quite decent as well. The service is a little slow, the only complaint I had with this place.
But I would definitely recommend this place!
Been there after looking for good place in kothrud area on Zomato. Really a decent place to spend some good time with beloved family and friends... Food and service was really good, with silent instrumental music with cool ambience..
Food was good. The egg fry was very spicy. I suggest you should have room for customization when it comes to spice level. The serving size of biryani was huge and it was yummy. I have given one star less due to the texture of roti sent in combo with butter paneer masala. Usually you serve very soft rotis as well as paratha. However that day roti was rigid and chewy.
