A pure vegetarian budget place with very nice staff. You can enjoy Maharastrian and Chinese food with your family and friends. The place is easy to reach and have parking space and you hardly need to wait even on weekends....
The cost of dishes is less as compared to other restaurants and so is the quantity.
Manchurian is a must try. Good for south indian food. Also tawa paneer pulao is my favorite. They have some soup that has noodles in it. Loved it. Also some big papad with the size of rumali roti but tastes ok.
The best part about this restaurant is that it is very spacious. Ambience is average, nothing so great. Service wasn't that quick and we had to multiple times remind the waiter about our order. Food quality was average, but good for the price. The veg platter was good, but a little spicy. The potatoes and baby corn in the platter should have been cooked a little bit more. We ordered veg pizza and were surprised to find french beans on it in place of capsicum. They had just managed to get the mixed sauce pasta right, the sauce was thinner than normal. The mango and chiku milkshake was perfect. Overall a good experience. Recommend this place if you are keen on a spacious place and want to save a few bucks on your meal.

This is a very nice and less explored restaurant. The taste is simply superb, service is good and definitely value-for-money. Many of my friends from North India loved it's taste. Definitely worth trying.

I have been here twice with family. It is really very big restaurant and ample space, so most of the time you will find space. Food quality is really nice and especially for people like who don't take onion and garlic this is nice place to have food.

Food - Tea was the same tea from the morning boiled and reboiled again and again. Paneer Sholay appetizer was quite good. Nothing great to mention about Aloo Jeera and Veg Chilli Milly! Dry and Oily.
Overall, may be a few more things to try as the appetizer was quite good. This is all for the first visit.
Update - 2nd Visit... Everything was good, Paneer Khazana, Mushroom Tikkas, Boondi Raita and variety of ice creams and desserts.

Food:
South indian: One of the best place offering onion rawa sada dosa, idli chutni and masala dosa.
Continental: Variety of sizzlers like veg hot pan, paneer hot pan, paneer tikka sizzler. I have tried paneer tikka having soft paneer pieces, a fried rice, chips, vegetables and a spicy sauce. Great combination!!
Yesterday we tried the puri bhaji which was also very good. Small suggestion please make the puris a bit less oily.
Desserts: Dinner will not be complete till you eat there chocolate brownie or custard ice cream. Simply too good!!!!

Attentive waiters and fast service. One advice is to kindly serve the sizzlers hot. Yesterday was the third time that we had to return the sizzler because it was cold.
Ambience:
Big space hotel with sufficient distance between 2 tables. So people can have there privacy at dinner. They have a tv where they show there advertisements regarding there tours and travels business. If there is a cricket match or something people can enjoy it while having dinner.

It was a pleasant surprise, when I got to meet the owner of this hotel, Sharada Kulkarni. A Maharashtrian lady, all equipped with the huge experience and knowledge of hospitality industry. Food in Manali is awesome :) And most importantly, since Ms. Sharada makes it a point to supervise, minute details like maintaining hygiene, Making sure that "Aginomoto" ( Mono sodium glutamate) is added is the least quantities, that too only in chinese dishes etc is rigorously observed.
After meeting the owner, Manali has become my favourite destination for family get togethers, kitty parties and even on routine basis when I am tired of cooking at home ;)
My mother in law , who is the world's best cook likes the preparations at Manali! What more does anybody want to hear?

The kitchen furiously slings delicious food to their guests. The staff is very friendly and the owners are always present to greet you with a smile. Manali is home to hearty fare offered at impressive value. I saw a comment about torn sofa covers so I thought of investigating it myself and I found all sofas in perfect condition. Even after having a serious competition around this new restaurant is making a name for itself. Del@ptaicious food, good people, nice atmosphere is what makes Manali awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for delectable vegetarian food.
One of those few classic veg restaurants you will find in the city which still abides to providing a hearty amount of quantity without compromising on it's quality standards. A perfect place to visit for lunch or dinner along with your family / friends . Next time you visit this place make sure to order their "dal makhni" and "garlic butter naan" these are dishes to die for and will make you keep coming back for more .

Quite a decent place in an area where you have tough competitors like Abhishek veg, Samudra etc. However the place holds its different identity due to its ideal location, spaciousness and decent quality of food. There were times when I used to visit only vegetarian places like this one. Manali veg used to offer tasty food. I do not understand the reason why they have not been able to maintain the quality. Still one may visit to try out good veg stuff.
I had heard many bad things about this place, but I was pleasantly surprised!
While their food could use some tweaks, their service was impeccable!

Manali is a place my family and I visit frequently .. The food quality is good and the menu boasts of a wide range of Chinese and Punjabi cookups.. The range of soups is limited and served in a tall ish bowl which doubles a cup... Rather convenient when you get bored of having it with a spoon. The starters are delightful and well done. The main course... We had the lasooni palak was just perfect... It had just the right amount of palak cooked to perfection and small pieces of garlic... They serves quite a few types of rotis. Roomali being one of them.... Rotis are okay... Good when looking for roti - subzi.
Good and tasty Chinese , Punjabi , South Indian food . Variety in menu , so many good options to choose. Have tried some failed dishes also..like american chopsy :-/ but overall nice restaurant for descent dine out .

Food is nice in taste and quality as well as quantity is good. Cheese chilly toast was very nice.Even they serve good punjabi n south indian food. But the most important thing is service. Thought almost tables were vacant, they had taken almost more than 35 mins to serve simple breakfast menus.

I went here alone after discovering it through Zomato. I ordered Mushroom Tikka Masala and plain Roti (which seemed a little costly to me at Rs 20). It was delivered within 15 minutes. It was very tasty and in good quantity (too much for one person). There was always a person standing near me in case I needed anything. Overall, I was satisfied.

A very good outlet..!! I have been there a couple of times and I must say that the food is quite good..!! Though over a period of time their prices have shot up but still the quality they serve is really good..!! Ordered a Veg Jaipuri and a couple of plain rotis and had a dent of about 220-230 Rs..!! Taste was really good and the quantity was also sufficient..!! A good outlet ..! Should give the nearby hotel a run for its money..!!

I have been to this restaurant on many occassions, and the feedback would be a bit mixed.
When it comes to regular dishes like idli, wada, dosa, uttapam, there is no reason to complain. Served with delicious green chatni and tasty sambar. Somehow i do not like the sambar at viashali, it is too thin and a bit bereft of taste, this one is with the right spices and vegetables, with a consistent thickness.
Had the paper dosa on a few occasions. You need two people to finish it !
But when it comes a little out of the way dishes, you are going into dangerous territory! We tried mushroom soup once but it was clear that the cook was struggling with it. The ingredients were just not right and it tasted funny, we could not finish it.
Punjabi dishes are also pretty average, good but nothing great. The crispy starters are pretty decent too...
Prices are reasonable and on weekends you can find a place which you cannot in nearby Abhishek.

A good choice for tasty vegetarian food in a casual setting in the heart of town. Lots of windows with pleasant views and space between tables contribute to an overall uplifting ambience, though some of the slipcovers on benches against one wall really needed repairs and the toilets (which are outside) are not very nice.
The menu is quite extensive, drawn from several cuisines, and items are well described. My hakka noodle order was plentiful and attractively served. though a little oily and could have come a little faster.
