Great location! One of the oldest hotels around. Orchid has a good reputation and they have been doing well. The hotel rooms do need a face lift now.
Overall a great hotel, but the thing that I didn't like was their bathrooms, like lights were too depressing and they had few spots in the bathroom where the bottom of the wooden door were rotten. Except for these things the hotel was good. I like their food and services.

I visited orchid to have a team buffet dinner. Food was really great. The number of nonveg and veg starters is less but the taste was really good. They should increase the number of starters. Rest I don't think any negative points.
