Mama mia restaurant located in the heart of swargate is a delight for Italian lovers. It's Mozzafiato interiors, menu & ambience takes you straight to the la la land of Italy. They have a really vast menu with nearly 15-20 options in pizzas & pastas. Their mocktails & shots are unique with an edgy presentation(bartender is really good at his work). Do try the following dishes -
1. Khaman oxide - A twist to the gujarathi dhokla with tangy ingredients.
2. Gastro pani puri - A new take on the usual pani puri with syringes & test tubes for serving.
3. Julia roberts pizza - A yummy, thin crust pizza with lots of toppings.
4. Stone grill rice - A new concept where in you get to choose rice or noodles with a sauce of your choice. It's a signature dish & my favourite especially the exotic sauce.
5. Ravioli pasta barbaresca sauce - Yummiest ravioli i have tried in a long time. The spinach filling with the delicious barbaresca sauce is mouth watering.
6. Finale dessert - This dessert is the highlight of the restaurant & it is prepared right in front of you. Chocolate landscape is a dream come true for chocolate addicts with a theatre effect of oxide smoke. A special mention to Prem for serving us this yummy dessert.
A big big thumbs up to the management & staff for being so friendly & courteous. Service is really quick & the rooftop ambience adds a special experience to your dining. It's a pure veg Italian as well as indian food restaurant for all age groups right from babies to oldies. So the next time you are in swargate just head to this italiano place.

Laa Unico - El Elegido (The Chosen One)
Laa Unico means “The One” or “The Unique One” in Italian. Setup in Mukund Nagar, the restaurant has chosen an apt name. An extremely beautiful setting on a rooftop, the place is a pure vegetarian restaurant that does not serve alcohol however boasts of a stunning bar that serves some quirky and colorful mocktails.
A fine-dining setting, Laa Unico has seating comforts for everyone. Apart from the regular tables and chairs, they also have private cabanas and hutments for larger parties.
Shots
The Red Devil was served in test tubes nestled in a beaker full of ice. Made with orange, pineapple and lemon juice, this was a good start to the tasting. Served in shot glasses, the Laa Unico Shots looked cute on a wooden slice and a blend of vanilla with a hint of cardamom, this was a delicious shot. #DeliciousDelicious
Mocktails
The Dragon Mojito was the standard mojito blended with chunks of dragon fruit which gave a wonderfully different flavor to the whole drink. And with a sample served in a cut-out dragon fruit itself, it had a unique presentation too.
Zuppas (Soups)
The Roasted Pepper Soup [Rs. 170] is described as a soup with the perfect blend of red and yellow peppers, mixed herbs, garlic, onions, leeks, carrots and sweet chili sauce. However it looked and felt more like a packet tomato soup with a smattering of crushed pepper on top. A bit disappointing, to say the least.
Thankfully the Zuppa Di Asparagus [Rs. 200] was a saving grace with a lovely creamy soup full of asparagus flavors.
Chattar Pattar
This section is where the chefs at Laa Unico shine through with their creativity and fusion.
The Sev Puri Tacos [Rs. 220] had tortillas stuffed with the usual sev puri ingredients of masala mash potato, spicy tangy chutney, crispies and onion. A wonderful and flavorful combination, one that was relished by all. The Mexican Bhel [Rs. 210] was another fusion of our Indian street food with Mexican touch. Good flavors overall.
Khaman Oxide [Rs. 295] was the dish where the liquid nitrogen finally made its entry. Khaman crumble with a flavorful relish of Indian chutneys, cooled and sprinkled with liquid nitrogen. While it does leave a slightly metallic aftertaste, the dish was quite delicious and chilled.
The Gastro Pani Puri [Rs. 180] too felt like a modern version of pani puri using chemistry set. Tangy, spicy and sweet chutneys were served in test tubes. Multi-colored liquids in test tubes to be poured from one place to other – that’s was extremely memory-evoking. And the fact that you can devour the final mixture, was like the cherry on top.
Antipasti
The Nachos with Cheese Sauce [Rs. 235] were served with red and green tomato salsa however the salsa was more like a smoother and finer chutney rather than coarsely cut up salsa.
The Pale Di Potato [Rs. 195] were a crunchy bunch of crispy potato skins which went well with the served garlic mayo dip however was disappointed with the Jalapeno Sticks [Rs. 270]. While the stuffing was gooey and cheesy, there was hardly any taste of the jalapeno, despite being served whole. :-/
Oriental Starters
The oriental starters at Laa Unico was something I was pretty impressed with.
The Paneer Lollipop [Rs. 270] had finger cut paneer chunks tossed in exotic sauce and garnished with sesame. Lovely flavors, this went very well with the mocktails on offer. The Stir Fried Veg. [Rs. 290] had exotic vegetables tossed in black pepper sauce which was another equally delicious dish. #YumYum #HighlyRecommended
Indian & Tandoor Starters
The Multani Paneer Tikka [Rs. 370] had chunks of cottage cheese stuffed with mix veg. folded and coated in a mixture. Loved the punch of the veggies with the paneer envelope. #DeliciousDelicious
Pizza
Although we were already full by the time the Italian and Indian mains were served, seeing pizzas and pastas on the table always tempted us to have “just one more bite.” :D
All the pizzas served to us, Julia Robert [Rs. 440], Bombay Masala [Rs. 410] and the Rustico Special [Rs. 480] had a thin but hard base with extremely similar toppings, especially the Julia Robert and Rustico. All in all, not the best pizzas I have tried.
Pasta
Pasta Del Barone [Rs. 440] was made with pink sauce, a blend of the classic béchamel and tomato sauce; while the Pasta Barbaresca [Rs. 450] had a flavorsome creamy sauce. Very well made pastas with an abundance of sauce however found a small stone in the Barbaresca. Pointed it out to the manager, a sincere apology and a quick replacement of the dish with an assurance of better quality control sorted it out quickly.
The Aglio Olio E Pepperoncino [Rs. 330] was a perfect example of how an Aglio Olio should be made and Laa Unico has nailed it. A lovely drizzle of olive oil on top helped elevate the dish. #DeliciousDelicious
Fondue
Fondue is a Swiss dish of melted cheese served in a communal pot (fondue pot) over a portable stove heated with a candle or spirit lamp, and eaten by dipping bread into the cheese using long-stemmed forks. Indians have taken this concept and applied it to a lot of Indian dishes and the results are pretty impressive.
The Pav Bhaji Fondue [Rs. 350] had crisy bits of pav served with a melting pot of bhaji. A good way to enjoy the classic delicacy.
Indian Mains
Having almost no space left in our collective tummies, we decided to trim down our order of Indian Mains and zeroed in on the Veg. Vilayati and Kaju Paneer.
An excessive use of tomato sauce in the curry meant the Veg. Vilayati tasted like sour grapes although the Kaju Paneer was a surprise. Having requested for a slightly less sweet version, Laa Unico did not disappoint. Rich and creamy, the dish was a perfect balance of flavors.
The mains were accompanied by varied Indian breads like Cheese Oregano Naan [Rs. 110], Masala Dhania Ki Roti [Rs. 80] and Cheese Chili Kulcha [Rs. 120].
Desserts
Just like a married man can still check out other people [albeit surreptitiously ;)], I too am allowed to check out desserts while on a sugar-free diet.
The Chocolate Mud Cake [Rs. 250] had soft chocolate cake drenched in gooey chocolate sauce. Looked like a mess however tasted delish. The Cream Caramel [Rs. 170] on the other hand looked pretty as a picture however lacked the signature wobble that defines the dish. Felt a bit dense on the palate as well.
The Chocolate Landscape [Rs. 490] had a lot of theater to the dish. Made live at the table, it has mud cake soil, enriched brownie chunks and oodles of chocolates, and drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce.
Mukund Nagar and surrounding areas sorely needed a place like Laa Unico. Pure vegetarian, alcohol free yet with an ambiance to match any top bars in the city, Laa Unico will appeal to young as well as the young at heart.
An amazing place to spend a memorable eve with family and frnds. Beautiful ambience, amazing food, many options, super drinks and very friendly staff.... And its vegetarian ���

It was my friends birthday and we had booked a table along with the decoration and cake at laa unico. Trust me she was more than happy to see it. The decoration was wonderful, we had options to choose from the theme of decoration, we choose the black and golden. The cake was fab. It tasted yummy. We also ordered special fruit puch mojito there, it was way too amazing. There was a magician who entertained us for a while and the ambience was great. The food was amazing, good quality, nice service and the waiters were polite. Would highly recommend this place. We had nanza there, it's a nice combo of pizza and naan and filling too. Must try. White pasta was also good in quality and qty both. I would rate this place 5/5

Been here long time ago. Very good and fancy place with happing atmosphere. Food is somewhat expensive in terms of quantity, taste is good but i expected much more. Apart from this drink , this place serves food with amazing taste , a bit on pricey side but totally worth it keeping in consideration the ambience and service.
This is very pleasant place to eat in the evening. We liked the food and presentation of the food. The waiter who was serving us was rude and he was rude to other waiters as well which irked us.
But then their excellent magician Amit came to perform at our table and made our evening happy with his great mind blowing magic tricks. Ultimately we enjoyed our experience at Laa Unico.

Ordered gastro panipuri, their unique pav bhaji, chaat, margarita pizza and la unico sizzler.
Everything was top notch, even the sizzler didn’t disappoint as it was spicy just as I wanted.
Overall the ambience is perfect and even the food was wow which at first i didn’t expect to be to true!
I was here with my friends on Tuesday or as they say magical Tuesday. Because a brilliant magician Amit Kalantri came to our table and blow us away with his fun, perfect and fantastic magic, he was very joyful and professional, loved the magic experience in a restaurant. The food was equally magical because once we ate the first bite it disappeared quickly from our plate into our stomach. Maze cornetto, Paneer lollypop, Gastro Panipuri amazing taste.

'Laa Unico' is good hotel which had roof top facility with preity awesome ambience(Good for couple and friends for birthday or anniversary celebrations). They also provide very good celebration decorations at reasonable rates(1200 /- per decoration which has baloons, Photos and banner). The staff is very polite and friendly. They have one magician called Amit who has shown us some very good magics which is complementary. Also they captures photos of ours which they publish on facebook . Overall environment is fresh and Good.
One Suggestion: Can you please arrange one guitarist who can play a song on customers request. (Just a suggestion).

I visited this place first time om 31st December, 2019 to celebrate last dinner of 2019. Ambiance is so so good that normal days will also feel like party days (still not loud or noisy at all)
The staff especially , mr. Akram who took our order understood our taste from the kind of starters we ordered and suggested awesome main course and dessert. The stone grill rice there still brings water in my mouth.

@laaunico is a veg restaurant serving Italian food but they also have some Indian food as well.
It is a good restaurant located at Swargate. They have booths which they decorate with balloons and other party decorations and these booths can be booked for a small birthday party or anniversary. The ambience is good. It seems as if we are sitting under the sky at night however that's just an illusion as they have put a black covering as roof.
For starters we had #mushroom chilli which was yummy. The mushrooms were huge! The coating and the sauce was tasty. We also had #crostini alla ragusana which were crostinis with different topping like fresh tomatoes, olives, #capers and #artichokes
For the main course we had Mediterranean pizza which had cheese, olives and artichokes. It was thin crust and crispy pizza. But the hero of the dinner was #pavbhaji fondue! It was simply mouthwateringly yummy! So buttery and cheesy! We just couldn't stop eating it.
We also tried the mocktail chemical locha which was #cranberry and #litchi juice.
Overall it is a nice place for celebrations with good food.
The feeling was happy-uncomfortable when we ate honey chilli potatoes. It was spicy but irresistible. The staff was not only courteous but always had a smile and a sense of willingness on their faces. Kaju Paneer was delicious. The ambience was amazing.

Schezwan Marbles :
Bit spicy and found lil off from the basic Chinese taste. Need lot of improvement .

The ambience of laa unico is very good. We had ordered honey chilli potatoes and spaghetti pasta in their special sauce. Spaghetti was too good, the portion also was sufficient. However, we were a bit disappointed with the honey chilli potatoes, could have been better. Watermelon mojito and orange basil mojito were excellent. Please be prepared for the waiting time, we had to wait for half an hour. Apart from that it was a satisfactory experience.

This place is actually an heaven for Vegetarians. This place is one of the rarest place where you will get pure veg food will all the cherish, fancy dishes. Also, it provides all mocktails.
I was not that much energatic when I visited this place so couldn't capture photos. But trust me this is perfect family restaurant.

Laa Unico in Italian means The Unique, and thats what it excatly is! So unique and exciting! Not only its a roof top with the most beautiful ambience in the locality, but they also have unique interactive sessions like magic show and sketching. Its a pure vegetarian restaurant but you won't miss anything because they have such an extensive menu, probably the largest number of dishes you'd get in any restaurant! It has very friendly staff, along with ample seating area which is also well furnished.
Not only that but they food they serve here is creative and unique too!
Started with ZUPPA DE ASPARAGUS which is a refreshing and creamy soup which builds up your appetite.
KHAMAN OXIDE is a lovely twist to the traditional Khamman Dhokla which got a blast of in house special chutnies and the a whisk of nitrogen gas for delightful presentation.
LAA UNICO SPECIAL SHOTS are these delicious milk based mocktail shots which contain a delicious secret ingredient which will make you nostalgic for sure.
NACHOS with CHEESE SAUCE contains in house baked nachos with loads of thick and warm liquid cheese and bell peppers, served with spicy salsa.
Their creative mocktails include,
FRUIT SANGRIA, which is so delightfully presented and is a fruity blast of flavours.
Then comes LAA UNICO PINEAPPLETTE which is a pineapple based drink, served in an actual pineapple!
STRAWBERRY MARGHERITA is made from rich and pure strawberry pulp, whose each sip will make you love it.
SPECIAL CROSTINI is an Italian appetizer containing a range of delicious toppings which are fun to experiment with.
PALE DI POTATO is an Indian version of fine and crisp potato shavings hinted with yummy spices which are truly lip smacking!
PAV BHAJI FONDUE consists of a creamy and yummy pav bhaji fondue, kept warm by a flame below it. This fondue goes perfectly well with the crunchy bread cubes served along side it.
CRAZY CHEESY NAANZA is a pizza on a naan, while have a special heart shaped pizza called Valentine pizza, topped with yummy paneer tikka chunks.
LAA UNICO SPECIAL PASTA, SICILIAN PASTA and a couple of more yummy italian dishes to choose from.
I personally loved the LIQUID MUD PLANT which is a delightfully as well as deliciously thick chocolate and oreo shake.
For desserts we had,
CHOCOLATE BOMB & CHOCOLATE LANDSCAPE, both of them are really yumm and highly recommended!
Laa Unico is true to its title of being Unique and I personally would recommend you to enjoy a lovely evening here!

Laa Unico is one of those places in Pune which is popular equally both among the youth and the families. There are generally very few places which can satisfy these both group of people, but Laa Unico does that very smoothly with a huge menu covering plenty of dishes from all over the world and an ambience which is funky but classy too at the same time.
The place is located on the fourth floor of the building and approach is a bit untidy and unimpressive but once you enter the lift and reach the fourth floor, the place instantly impresses you. They have a huge open seating which looks gorgeous in the night with all the lighting and the indoor seating looks very classy too.
We started our dinner with “Gastro Pani Puri” which had two different type of water options served in test tubes kept in a beaker with nitrogen flowing out of it. A sauce to sweeten things was also served in an injection. The whole dish altogether looked spectacular and is definitely a must try. We also tried their “Khaman Oxide” which had khaman flushed with nitrogen gas to reduce its temperature below the room temperature level which was sprinkled with a lot of sauces to make it a dish a lot more delish.
For the main course, we tried their Pizza wherein they were happy to convert it into a half and half one and we tried the “Bombay Masala Pizza” & the “Napoli Pizza”. The Bombay Masala Pizza had Indianised flavours with ample of cottage cheese topped on a cheesy pizza base and napoli pizza had a mix of exptic vegetables which complemented each other nicely. We also tried their “Laa Unico Sizzler” which had flat noodles cooked in a delicious sauce along with some veggies, french fries and cottage cheese in a spicy sauce. The sizzler which was quite filling, tasted pretty good and was simply a cross between Continental and Chinese cuisine.
The drinks accompanying our meal were all presented with nitrogen flowing out from different directions making them look quite exquisite. The best out of the lot was the mango based mocktail which had a Kaccha Aam flavour and was simply amazing. “Blue Moon” was pretty good too with “Bubblegum Shots” being a bit disappointing taste wise.
The service here was amazing with a lot of stewards to manage the operations smoothly. The staff was very knowledgeable about the menu which is a must at a place like Laa Unico where the menu has a plethora of experimental dishes & drinks.
Overall, Laa Unico rightly is one of the most trending place in Pune and it has been such from quite sometime. They even have different events happening every week like caricature artist converting your photos into caricatures and other such stuff, it makes a lot more sense to visit this place by choosing the best day of the week as per the events calendar. The enormous food options with high level experimentation and presentation makes this place a must visit in Pune. Highly Recommended!

Ambience was really good. Some music was playing that was not too loud .also they arranged some decorations for a anniversary couple. They also packed cake after a birthday celebrations. It is also a Children friendly they provide chair.
We ordered a special unico sizzler the quantity and taste was really good.
Also ordered a hot and sour soup it's was also nice .
We ordered cranberry drink the taste was good but that provided it before a soup. I think you need to mention it after placing order.

Ambience is really good and the staff treats you excellently. They have the unique ability to serve every dish in a gorgeous and smoking way. The taste is decent. Best place for a family dinner.
Outside ambience and pretty amazing, also fusion food is good.
Menu is adaptive if you are Jain.
Sev Puri Tacos is must try also mama Mia naanza is good. Mock tails are on a little expensive side than the food.

Visited this place for my birthday dinner and am super impressed with ambience, courteous staff and quick service!
We ordered 'Broken Heart' mocktail that was berry-licious had liquid nitrogen fumes that added fun to the presentation. Sev Puri tacos were just too amazing. Schezwan marbles was mildly spicy and tasty. Classic Swiss fondue was rich with blended spices and quite filling.
This is a vegetarian-only place that doesn't serve alcohol. The variety of dishes is huge and will definitely come back here to try more.
I just gave a birthday party at Laa Unico and I must say, I’ve experienced the best hospitality and the food was too delicious..!! Keep up the same spirit and i would suggest to try Laa Unico atleast once and I bet you will visit again. Very kind and gentle staff.

Laa Unico is the most compatible for any sort of crowd you want to take there. It is a rooftop restaurant which serves only veg food and only soft drinks. It is a perfect place for taking your family or friends there!
Its ambience is very classy. It is a rooftop resto so there are no acs but there are overhead fans.
There are no nicks and nacks I have to pick on the ambience of Laa Unico. It is absolutely stunning.
The food at Laa Unico is very good and the variety they have is nothing short of anything. They have some special items which are not added to the menu yet but you can ask for them they will arrange it for you. I recommend THE FLAMING CHEESE BURST PIZZA it costs ₹575 but believe me every penny is worth it!!!!!
To sum it all up my visit at Laa Unico was nothing short of wonderful and I cannot wait to visit it again❤️

One of the best experience with this restaurant and we had enjoyed the delicious food served. The way they served the different dishes was with uniqueness and we were surprised with the dessert serving method with efforts put by the man who served and design it on the table. Nice to visit this place 👍

We had some out of the world food, right from lemon coriander, cheese cornato starters, bun starters, cheese nanza and chocolate bomb. All these thing were amazing staff is were very courteous and helpful. The owner of the hotel is a great person and took care with respect to taste and variety even for my 2 year old kid. Thanks I will surely hit it again for some more awesomeness!!
Would love to soon visit the place as well but for now ordered food online and was very very pleasantly surprised with the great quality of food. Ordered Indian, Italian and Mexican dishes and everything was great. The pizzas were absolutely amazing. Looking forward to visit the restaurant soon. Cheers

Finally got the chance to personally visit this tab place ... In love with the food and the place. Truly an experience and a delight to be there. Also got a surprise sketch made by the artist there. I hope I get to meet him the next time I'm there forgot to thank him. If you are reading this THANK YOU and a big shout out for everyone out there to definitely go here and enjoy

Great ambience with good food. The service was upto the mark and quick. The best thing was the dessert. The menu was beautiful and quiet sophisticated.
It's a good place for vegetarian food lovers. They have plenty of options on the menu. You can find almost all types of dishes in this restaurant. And also they have a separate menu for mocktails uh can try those mocktails. I won't say they're too impressive. I mean, they're bit costly compared to the content it have but if you want to try something new, you can go with it.
Perfect place for dine in with family . Staff is really good and friendly. Service is really good . You can try Moctails they are amazing. I tried Cool volcano and it was good. Chilli panner and manchurian dry is also superb.. try this place at least once.. I have tried tomato soup … it was amazing and fresh as compared to other restaurants.
All the options are great, Unique Presentation for all the dishes.

The restaurant is on the roof top, but feels a bit contested because the building rooftop itself is small with limited capacity.
Ambiance was nice. Have the valet parking. They have decoration table which cost 1500/- more. Food quantity is good and quality is average. Price range are high.

Good vegetarian continental family restaurant. Tasty food. Had ordered starters. Quantity provided was 5 could not be shared by 4. It is not a big lecuna, but would have been better if quantity would have been more and in even units.
They serve cold moctails, no coffee or tea.
Ambience is nice. Have lift to reach to the roof top restaurant.

The ambience is amazing. It was a great experience and the staff was accommodating to open the AC area earlier upon request. The mocktails menu is great. The food was great tasting as well. Overall highly recommend. We didn't taste variety, but whatever we ordered was very tasty.
Great place for dinner with family and friends. The menu has lots of variety and excellent taste. We tried Nachos, Julio Robert Pizza, Pav Bhaji Fondue, Paneer Chilly, Shevpuri Tacos, Mexican Bhel plus Diwani Handi veg and rotis. All the items had excellent taste and portion size was good. The ambience is awesome. They have valet parking as well. Highly recommended for pure veg dinner with family and friends.
