A proper desi dhaba / restaurant situated on old Mumbai Pune highway near Talegaon, Pune.
In the picture: Kasturi Chicken and Tandoor Roti.
One of the best chicken gravy I had ever had. Well cooked and properly marinated chicken pieces along with Indian spicy gravy was the perfect combination for our taste buds.
Quantity of the dish was also sufficient enough to feed four adults. Roti was also properly baked.
Overall a great food experience!
Ambience is also extra ordinary!
We ordered mains directly .. so chicken kadhai was delicious roti came in a little moderate temperature and crunchy jeera rice and daal fry was amazing... Ambiance was great, a variety of themes from khatiya dhaba styled to well tabled dim lights ... over all nice experience

It is difficult to write a review if the food has neither dissapointed you nor it was exceptional. Yes, the drive to the place especially in monsoon and the expansive dhaba with rustic cots surely can impress you. It so happened that we were heading to sheetal da dhaba in lonvala when this place caught our attention just before the first toll. It was already late for us, so we took a decision to visit bhajan singh da dhaba instead. It is a sprawling place with many sections of seating and a kids play area. We ordered cheese corn seekh and irani chicken tangri. Both were good in taste and presentation. Chicken Manchow soup was delish. Next came food. Triple shezwan rice was pretty average and chicken maratha was average too though the chicken was soft. Butter nan and tandoori wer served hot and crunchy just the way we like it. Kulfi was good but a tad sweeter for our taste. Live music was a pleasant surprise. One thing that needs a special mention is that the prices were genuinely v reasonable. All of this along with two bottles of beer for just 2250/-. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. So, if you are looking for a dhaba a little ahead of town and you dont want to spend much, then you can strongly consider going to this place.
A perfect known dhaba on the old Mumbai Pune highway.It is good place whether you are visiting with your friends or family (kids friendly).
It has separate seating for people opting drinks with really good paintings on the wall and takhat seating.We really liked the ambience with old melodies.
The dinner was good with prompt service.

Recently visited this place with family for dinner..very nice ambience and live singing at family section..variety of options for seating..overall food quality is nice and typical dhaba style taste..spicy and delicious..the masala taste of dishes remains longer on tongue..we had veg food and mushroom masala, paneer handi..nice food..bit costlier but good for a change..will visit soon
Visited bhajan singh da dhaba couple of times and we usually ordered non-veg, they never disappointed me. The feel of real 'dhaba' is what you get there. In my recent visit i have ordered paneer masala with plain naan . Paneer masala was perfectly cooked less spicy and price is reasonable but i felt quantity was not sufficient for two people .
Also they have a huge seating area with different sections and live music performance.
Awesome place and nice atmosphere.. .. must try kebabs tastes good and delicious.. ..friendly staff and good ambience.. .. must visit.. highly recommended

The Chicken Banjara Kebab is really good.

Very nice place, if onec a time visited you like it so much, There is a big place for parking, party and for lots of toys for children. Evergreen food test, melodies musical karaoke is also there, so enjoyed the music also alogwith Dinner. and all staff are very nice.

Nice family entertainer place . Few mosquitos were there but that got solved after putting some coil. Overall decent place and family enjoyed great food. Pocket friendly.
This dhaba is located on old mumbai-pune highway.They have a huge and decent ambience.They have typical dhaba type cots and normal comfy seats too.But most importantly they have large parking space.
We visited during very odd time 4pm and their service was a bit slow but acceptable.We ordered chicken tandoori which was really good.Then we ordered chicken lamba which consists of tender boneless chicken tossed in schezwan sauce which had amazing taste.Then we ordered chicken havaii for main course which was the best part and absolutely lip smacking.
Overall it was a great experience and must try once if you're travelling on mumbai pune highway.
Absolutely delicious nonveg food. It's a bit far from the city. But it's worth traveling 20 kms. No one can beat the taste. Definitely should try the chicken Hawaii. β€β€

This is one of the best dhabas on the Old Mumbai Pune Highway. It has a good ambience. The service is quite slow but the food really made up for it. Do try Kasturi Chicken Handi!
A good change in look of dhaba. I used to go regularly here when i used my 2 wheeler like a cycle. Now its a good family place. Not meant for only talli drivers spot. I just prefer them to make little bit tasty food. Sometimes it tastes normal.
This is a 25 year old dhaba located near shirgaon toll plaza after dehuroad on Old Pune Mumbai highway.
Writing this review after three continuous visits in a month and no disappointment. This is what I loved about the restaurant.
Ambience - The resto is huge with hell lot if tables. Most of them have cots to sit like a dhaba. It's clean and well decorated. They also have live music and singing in the left side section. Last but not the least they have a big parking space.
Service - Service is not that fast but acceptable. I think it's because of the rush at the hotel.

This place is always on my list whenever i want to go out of city and wants to have dhaba food, this is the best dhaba.. For all food, boozz and quality and quantity.. Good food, just the problem with their service, that might be due heavy crowd or customer they serve every day, but should not be the reason they should improve their service and reduce orders delivery time.. Rest of all ok.. Food is good and good place for friends and family to have dhaba feel and outside of city crowd..

I went here on Friday night it was really good experience. Good quality was best according to rate and live music with singers. Their melodelous voice was very good to ears. Overall it was a good experience. Half star is less because of the service. Little bit slow rest is very good.
Very good place for dinner dhaba style. The taste is good. Overall the place is good. This place Value for money. Ample parking is also available. Ordered egg chilli out of menu, but the taste was super.
It is a mixture of both dhaba and restaurant. I don't know why this place has low rating but being a Punjabi and living in Pune for 3 Years. I found the place perfect for Punjabi food.
They have separate area for family which is good and some ducks, fish spa and live music sometimes.
Earlier they used to provide drinks also but i think they don't have license for that now. Being on Mumbai Pune highway place is usually crowded.

About food, from starter its really nice and delicious we ordered chicken banjara kabab as starter and for the main course it was chicken tikka masala. Good quantity and quality of food.

Great hotel with a dhaba look at the perfect location. Crowded during dinners. Tandoor is a must try. Good ambience , just drive der sit back relax and enjoy the food with family n friends.

We ordered a chicken hawai and panner butter masala accompanied with butter naan and jeera rice
The taste was pretty good however the chicken was a bit chewy and we also ordered a sweet lassi which did not taste that great I was surprised that a punjabi dhaba couldn't serve a tasty lassi
The ambience is good and has the dhaba feel as the name suggests
They have both indoor and outdoor seating
However they do not have varieties in their desert list
All in all a decent experience

Whenever I feel like having a long ride on weekends, I get on my Royal Enfield and take Mumbai-Pune Old highway and go to this place which is on the highway just before 1st toll NaKa. Its hardly 40 kms away from Koregoan Park.
FOOD - I ordered Paneer Tikka Masala (spicy), few Masala Papads, Dal Tadka, Kaju Masala and sweet lassi. I would say i loved the food because I am dhaba lover and love the street food. Paneer tikka masala was properly roasted with barbeque masalas served with lot of chopped salad. Dal tadka was nicely done with cumin seeds tadka and Kaju masala was the real spicy curry with roasted chashwes .
After eating this HOT stuff, chilled sweet lassi is a mandate.
LOOK AND FEEL - Its a highway side Restraunt with a lively atmosphere. They have an artist who performs Bollywood Song's Covers on customer's demands.
Good for Families, couples, bike riders, place somewhere far from city's noise. They also place projector screen during IPL, or football league matches.
SERVICE- They try to serve the order ASAP, but sometimes its difficult for them to manage when its Jam Packed and lots of foodies arrive. I have been there 3-4 times and Everytime it was a different experience in the Service department.
1st time we had to wait for 1/2 hour to get the table and another half for food. While other times we just got the table as soon as we got inside and food came in 20 minutes.
Give it a Try and fall in love with dhaba food.

The beautiful place has an enthusiastic ambience as well as cheerful too. They have readymade classy setup for birthday party ( come and celebrate π). For families, friends and group different seatings like Dhaba style (cot and table, chairs, sofas).
For children, a play area is available. Also rabbit π°π, ducks π¦, chicken π have kept in cage to entertain guest.

Food was delicious π. We ordered baby fries π for my daughter which were nice and crispy. Chicken chilly (400rs like waste) was ok-ok. The chicken tandoori was good .π We ordered fried papad roll (don't buy at all), dal tadka and jeera rice π ( good to buy). Slightly to focus on food may result in this place good to see awesome.

Just returned after having a wonderful lunch here. The service was the quickest I have ever experienced in any restaurant! The food was amazing. The meat in the Mutton Roganjosh (also known as Mutton Rogan Ghosht) was very well cooked. The Stuffed Mushroom that we ate as a starter was so well marinated that the juiciness surprised us totally. The Paneer Mustard and Masala Papad were tasty while the Butter Roti (we choose Maida as there was an Aata option too) was cooked well. The Chicken Matka kebab was very tasty and well cooked too. The highlight however turned out to be the Mawa Rabdi - which we unanimously voted as the best dish of them all! The desserts are cooked in Desi Ghee and made at a separate counter that is visible to all. The only problem we faced was with the seating. If you have anyone in your group who wants to consume alcohol then they ask you to shift to another area comprising of uncomfortable khaats (woven beds) with pillows. While the seating in the non-alcoholic area consisted of comfortable chairs and sofas. We chose comfortable seating as the elderly people in the group needed that more than the alcohol. So barring this problem, it was a fantastic lunch!

Bhajan Singh Da Dhabha has been always about Volume by which i mean the quantity served of what you order. I remember it used to be a place with a very typical dhaba atmosphere and now with time its upgraded well. I have always loved thier Chicken handi which is absolutely delicious and has that authentic dhaba taste, and not to forget its portion size. The tandoor items along with all the punjabi dishes are worth the try. Among countless restaurants and dhabas along sides of the Mumbai Pune road Bhajan Singh da Dhaba is a great and safe choice! Go with your family or large group friends, they have great space to accomodate. Over all a good place if you love dhabas with those typical khaats for sitting and relaxing...
This is located near the toll Plaza while going towards Talegaon on the old Bombay Poona road. Food quality was good. Staff was very polite. Ambience is also good. They have seperate section for family and other guests. They have karaoke system also. So overall good place to enjoy dinner with family and friends.

Veg. Food was really good for a surprise.
Fish curry was good as per my friends. But they couldn't finish the entire dish (IDK WHY!)
KARAOKE session was active so everyone was enjoying, except me.
I found it weird as singers were performing right in front of me while I'm trying to enjoy company with my friends.
Too loud, but it's a good and lively place to be after long ride.
