We went here because on a Sunday night because all other places were very crowded.
We ordered tomato soup, monchow soup, honey chilli potato, kadai paneer and brownie with ice cream.
Everything tasted okay. Nothing made us say yum.
The staff is quick though.
Tasty food. Service is good as well except on weekends when the place is really crowded. The quantity though seems less as per the price. Amritsar chole kulche is a must try.
Misal Pav and Sabudana Wada were amazing. Restaurant is very clean, value for money and great tasty food.
It has got great view, nice place to take a munch with friends.
Overall a very good place. Taste was not out of world but not bad at all. What I liked most was the warmth with which the management responding to our queries. Went here with less expectations as I have heard about the bad behaviour of the restaurants in that area.
Although it was a random visit just to grab lunch, I would like to be there few more times.
Good ambience got a place easily there was no waiting on sundays as in other resteraunts food was good not very oily ,nice service sitting outside in open air was nice inside it was very congested overall a good experience
Nicely located restaurant just in front of Ferguson college. Nice place has indoor and outdoor sitting. Menu card has limited varieties but has everything from Punjabi to Chinese and pavbhaji. Tried cheese pavbhaji it was delicious.

Went there for breakfast. The place is a cozy little eatry on the street. Quick service. Tasty food. Courteous staff. Must go. We tried the paper dosa which was huge as expected.. Fit for a holiday breakfast.
The best thing i like about this place is that owner himself was interacting with customers nd asking for feedback nd suggestions... He also made sure that dishes were modified as per our taste.. Ample of place to sit nd hence there is not much waiting on weekends as well.. Services are not that good but they provide you with huge variety of veg dishes...
Got down from bus and there was Rumaani, 1st time tried and it was pretty good... Ordered Chhole Bhature which was tasty, quantity was sufficient for one person... Sweet Lassi was little bit more sweet... Need to add some new dishes in menu... Staff n service is good... Nice place for dinner
A good option if you want to have some snacks... The price is very affordable however very few options are available... The place is clean with decent tasting food... In a nutshell, you can go here if you want to have a quick bite...

Rumaani Veg started on the space previously occupied by Savera right opposite to Fergusson College. Now if are a Puneite you would know the magnitude of this statement. Savera was a place where generations of FC students have passed out. It was brand in itself with high emotional attachment. Because of this Rumaani was viewed as an impostor and given condescending looks. Considering what it's up against, Rumaani has huge shoes to fill!
I have visited Rumaani 3-4 times now and my experiences have been pleasant. The first time I went the place seemed to be over staffed. There were waiters and cleaners everywhere. Now they seems have got the equation right. The menu has everything that you might expect from a veg restaurant. It offers a wide range of options in all kinds of cuisines including South Indian, Sandwiches, Chat items, Pavbhaji, Punjabi, Pizzas, Maharashtrian, Deserts and what not...
I have tried snacks items and punjabi. Snacks like idli, dosa and medu wada are good. Loved the sambar. Punjabi was fine as well. Sabji could have been tastier because it seemed a little bland. Overall good experiences though.
Its a very good place where you might have a cup of tea and some snacks with a group of your friends. The youthful vibes in the surrounding are complementary!
Luv the Ukdiche Modak here. Topped with ghee, they taste awesome! Snacks like thalipeeth, batata vada r yummy. Only thing is the Punjabi bhaji's here have lots of oil. That could be improved. Good staff and yummy food.
Must try the alu tikki chat here.. Dey hav proper north indian food which is very difficult to get in Pune.. Dey hav recently designed der new menu.. A must visit for north India food lovers
Great food..veg food is more tasty as compared to there non veg food.. Good environment..service id also good and great ambience...but prices were high..
Very average restaurant. We were in a hurry so visited this place and had snacks. The staff is alright. Food as compared is good. The taste is good. Nothing great or unique about this place. Thankfully at 5 pm we found only this restaurant open and serving on FC Road.

Very Reasonable at rates! Good Maharashtrian food. Thaalipeeth, Aaloo Paratha, Pav Bhaji are worth to try for! If you have a sweeth tooth, Bhoondi ladoo is a must try :)

Last when I had eaten here, there used to be a different restaurant, Namaskar. It has shut shop a couple of months ago having being caught in some legal wrangles, and in its place, Rumaani has come up since June 2014.
The ambiance is fair. Mirror lined walls (what's it with mirors in Pune?), well lit and wood work in tables and chairs. A fresh red rose adorns every table.
I called for a Mutton Keema (INR 120), a Garlic Naan (INR 30), a Lachha Paratha (INR 30), a glassful of Solkadi (INR 30) and a Fresh lime soda (INR 50). All for myself. Lolz.
The Mutton Keema was awesome. Devoid of any noise of green peas or other irritants. Pure. Uncorrupted. Absolute Mutton Keema. A slight garnishing of coriander leaves. And rightly spiced up. Full marks to it.
Ther Solkadi was again a pleasant surprise. Neither too sweet nor too sour. Served chilled.
The Garlic Naan and the Parathas justified their place in the menu. The Fresh Lime Soda was outsourced from a nearby restaurant.
The Verdict: They are a fledgling restaurant but they are poised to grow. With the kind of food and the service, they really cannot go wrong.

Menu - One of d best menu card I have ever seen...dishes varies from authentic maharashtrian, south idean,punjabi, pizza, pav bhaji, chaat and so on...Best part is lot more authentic maharashtrian dishes..
You will get masale bhaat and alu chi bhaaji combo, ukadicha modak, dahi misal, thaleepith, bhaakari pithla..
I will recommend this place to visit..
It's an amazing place for having breakfast lunch or dinner. Staff is courteous. They serve good Punjabi curries . Open till 11 30 pm. You can also try their south Indian , it's good.5 stars for this restaurant.
Rumaani Non veg has bern closed and Dunkin Dounut is in its place. Next to Dunkin Donuts is Rumaani Veg
