I visited this place last week and tried special mutton thali and surmai rawa fry. It was a good experience. It's a pocket friendly and decent place.

PRAWNS BIRYANI is must try! I choose it over chicken biryani.
Almost all Chicken preparations are tasty, including chicken tandoori. Ambience can be improved. Food is super tasty.
Good place for non vegetarians.. I have tried it multiple times and always had a good experience. Tandoori chicken, Rava bombil fry, chicken biryani must try. Ambience is okayish but tasty food can compensate for that. Prices are on medium side. Overall you are non vegatarian foodie, then definitely add to your list
A very calm place to go in..We had our food on the upper floor..the staffs are very co operative and we ordered paneer butter masala, chicken dry and gravy both, jeera rice, butter roti..The taste of food is good with..Not a very good ambience..

Tried prawns biryani there. It was tasty. Quantity was fare enough but not that compared to price. Overall very good experience. But I think the prices are bit high. Will try chicken biryani next time and update this post.

Being new in hadapsar I was very confused to know where can I get a decent Biryani.One of my friend suggested me this place.
I quickly visited this place.
They have separate sitting arrangement for family which is air condition compartment upstairs.
At my first glance what I felt different was that there were all female waitresses in the room.All were professionally groomed and attentive.
I ordered one full plate of mutton dum Biryani and prawns koliwada.
Also had solkadi at this place.
Solkadi was decent in quality n quantity.
If u love lot of masala in your Biryani then this place is your must visit!
The Biryani arrived with a beautiful aroma and was served with gravy.
The mutton pieces were perfectly cooked.
The masala was medium spicy and the rice was flavourful.
Prawns koliwada is the reason to visit this place again. The crispy spicy prawns felt soo good that I have started drooling over it again 🤪
Gonna visit this place again to try its different menu items.

Ordered chicken dum biryani.. Home delievry is on time.. As m fan of tiranga from so many years.. Tried again after long time.. But the taste is exact same..one full biryani is enough for 3-4 people..taste is awesome no doubt.. Highly recommend..

Very frequently, we go here for food. At least once in a week. Especially for prawns biryani which is awesome our whole family's all-time favourite.but, this prawns biryani will not be available on all days. And other food items are also good. It is very good place for spicy non-vegetarians.
Good place to try Byrani. This place is more famous for Non-Veg food items. I tried Veg also and it's good. Also Son Kadhi is really good. For parcel , its really good as 1 Byrani will be enough for minimum 2.5 to 3 people. Good place to try different options in Non-veg & Veg.
This is one of the traditional restaurant offering non veg food,it's kind of a typical puneri inn but serves good non veg..I liked Biryani ,it's better than many other places..Ambience is fair,not much decorative and luxury

Ok so, I and my colleagues decided to savour some real good chicken after shravan was officially over. Hence, we zeroed down on this place as it was near to our place and we have heard enough of Tiranga Biryani House. We had decided to gorge on some mutton and chicken biryani. However, as soon we landed here, our mind changed and our order also changed. We had some Tandoori Chicken, some Chicken Sukha in starter, some masala chaas and sol kadi for drinks, and Chicken Full Handi Rassa with Bajra Bhakri for the main course. We ate till our mouth and still were not “Trupt”. Our stomach was full but our taste buds still wanted more. It is one of the best place to enjoy chicken in its full form. You would be lucky if they cooked desi chicken also. That day they were serving only broiler.
Chicken Handi.. wooowww. Good taste to chicken handi curry. Ekdum mast chav..Price wise is also ok. Parcel facility is available. Biryani is too heavy for two person. Over all a best Maharashtrian taste with good ambiance.
I have to say one of the best authentic Maharashtrian food that I ever had......bhakri was super awesome and the chicken was just what u can drool over for an entire century. I will just say carry on your good work u have everything we customers look for.

A good place to enjoy maharashtrian non veg food. Biryani is must try. Ambience is normal nothing extraordinary. Food is good and its easy on your pocket. We are a regular there as its near by my place.

This is a very traditional place with brass utensils used for serving and drinking water. The chicken and mutton biryani of this place is quite famous. Also the chicken wade is my personal favourite along with sol kadi

A must go place for Biryani lovers. They serve the best biryani around Hadapsar.
We visited this place for dinner, it was little crowded. we got out table after 15 minutes. Ambiance was not very attractive. they have two floors, their ground floor don't have AC and even looks were not up to mark. i was in a mood to have Biryani because i came to know about his place form one of my friend, and he suggest me to have biryani. So ordered mutton Biryani. As i said it was crowded we got out food after 25 minutes, well it was worth the wait.
i prefer takeaways than having food over there.

Okay, I would like to rate this place separately in terms of service and food.
Service is arrogant. The place gets crowded at times (due to good food obviously, see the later section), but service is clearly not up to the mark. There is huge scope of improvement in terms of how waiters need to treat the customers, manners and politeness. Whatever goodness the food offers, it won't go too far with this kind of attitude.
Now the good part. Food is genuinely good. The place has really good aromatic biryanis and chicken / mutton / egg dishes (marathi style). Food is fresh and quality is maintained at least in this branch consistently high. Biryani comes close to what I had in Kanpur (but obviously local style). Only thing they can possibly reduce is oil floating on rassas (but don't reduce it too much to lose the genuine taste). That you can easily do away with by requesting no 'Tarri' on anything. The core strength is mutton / chicken and well it goes till egg. Don't blame it too much if you don't find vegetarian food or fish dishes not up to the mark.
Place is not as cheap as one would like, but still irresistable if you manage to get rid of / bypass the service coming your way. Since I stay nearby, its easy for me by ordering a parcel for take away.
I never expected any good restaurent outside the big glaring mall. but Tiranga is really amazing. by name it gives the first impression like a paan shop which is selling Tiranga Gutka https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tiranga-Gutka/114822468703322. but its diffrent like the ketchup ad. of Javed jaffery. it's really good serving delictable biryani...yummmm. Initially I thought of sharing one plate with my friend but later on I changed my mind. good preparation.

Kothrud & Hadapsar Outlet's Taste is much better than Camp..

Tiranga, a name that has excelled in serving non vegetarian food cooked in a traditional way. Tiranga located in Hadapsar, keeps pulling me back time and again. The restaurant looks small and crunched from outside with a little difficulty in finding a parking place. It is slightly more spacious from inside. The family section is upstairs offering a cozy and comfortable ambiance. The head waiter is an old man, decently polite, well mannered and humbly spoken.
Before you start ordering, in my opinion Tiranga specializes in Mutton dishes, so if you have not already tried that please go for any mutton dish. The cooking is perfectly blended with rich traditional spices and more importantly a gentle love. Even the water is served in a small tumbler with a beaked glass. The mutton as always is adequately cooked so that it is not rubbery or meltingly soft. The mutton pieces are succulent, tender and juicy. Yet another specialty is Bhakari. And the perfect combination is when you order mutton curry and bhakari. The taste, the aroma, the presentation, the way it is served and the way it is acknowledged is what makes a perfect dinner / lunch. The perfect proportion of spices and chef's experience makes the taste tickle your taste buds well after you have left. The taste is the same every time you visit.
A true value for money for non vegetarians specially the mutton lovers and a must visit if you are in the nearby vicinity.

Me and my father visited this place last Sunday. We ordered Tiranga special Mutton thali and chicken Thali and the quantity was too much compared to other similar restaurants.
The test was amazing and the staff was really helpful.Best Biryani Available. Had Chicken Plate the quantity was very good compared to other similar restaurants.

Just need to improve the service a bit or else would have given 5stars.I have been eating at Tiranga as long as I can remember. As a kid I used to force my parents to come here everytime we ate out . But now not so much . Even though the place has got bigger I think it has lost its authenticity like it happens with every other restaurant. Even though the quantity of the biryani is good the quality is just average . The tandoori chicken is worth having though. The waiters here are polite and tend to you immediately and the place is decently priced too. Tiranga serves a variety of delicious "Kolhapuri Style" Cuisine.
It is best to try the "Thali" with unique Pandhara and Tambda Rassa or you can order their signature "Biryani" which is arguably the best Biryani in Pune.
Comfortable seating and good ambience make Tiranga a suitable restaurant for a family meal.

Perfect chicken biryani with authentic aromas, brings together the rice, cooked to perfection and the juicy chikchen coming off the bone nicely and delicately. Wow, it was worth a try after all disappointment in name of biryani from so called big biryani houses around in Pune.
