First of all, kudos to the interior decorator of this posh tea outlet. The ambience just leaves in awe when you enter and such is the grandeur in such small outlet that you might confuse the name with "Tea palace" :).
Coming to main content i.e Tea. There are plethora of options provided for one to try on.
Good for Royal tea lover
This place is for those who love to have non milk Tea. or i should say Tea which does not get boiled with milk. If you think you will get Tea like normal India tea then it;s not the case.
They have so many variations of Tea and starting from 165 and it goes above. If you just like to have tea, try it.
Service : 4/5
Interior : 5/5
Meal / Tea : 3.5 / 5
Had gone for breakfast after a game of golf. Nice pleasant place. Be aware it's complete veg, even eggs not available.
Breakfast dishes are very good & innovative. Large choice for tea is available, nice but a bit high priced. Review is delayed so don't remember names of what we ate, pics should help. Pleasantly done place, staff is also very good. Will recommend a visit.
Its located second floor of phoniex market city mall..
visited here just randomly.. had order veg sandvich and chai.. tea was nice, sandwich was just average..
A calm soothing experience as we sipped on our tea which was amazing. We were the only customers at that time and definitely liked having the place to ourself. One of my friend didn't like it much as he is more of a coffee person, however it is a place you should visit if you love tea.
Loved the ambience, hated the fact that there was nobody inside when I entered. Hated it because the concept of enjoying a cup of tea is lost is so rare now.
The tea options were so varied, I was spoilt for choice. Pls note, there aren't any teas here that they serve with milk. Though they do offer you a pot, they don't serve it for you.
Great place. Ambiance is really nice, with an added touch of smoothe royalty (somewhat).
They've got some great tea options. Just try and you'll definitely get re-energized and refreshed, no matter how tired you are!
Although this place is expensive and might set you back by Rs. 500 easily for just 2 cups of tea; still this place is definitely worth going, for the unique blend of teas. They do have sample tasting options as well. No milk teas are available.
You can even buy a few teas from them if you like, which, again are on slightly expensive side.
Full marks to this place for the ambience !!! Different kinds of tea and a perfect set up for contemplation and getting disconnected from the mundane. I actually came out of this place quite rejuvenated and was worth an experience !!!
Awesome place for tea lovers...great ambiance..
Its not a place for people who have cutting chai everyday in office canteen..so you will always find this place empty..
Small bites to munch should be increased..
Ambience: Good
Place for people who are curious enough to try different types of tea.
Choice of Bites: can be improved with a little more variety.
A place for tea lovers. Liked the interiors and overall concept. Highly priced but that could be because of its locatiom. Variety of tea offerings. Tried Assam tea and snacks and liked them. They should begin with more snack options. Good experience.

Slightly overpriced but the range of teas served here is insane. It's mostly never crowded and that's what i like about it. I can sit there for hours with my cuppa tea. I tried the blackcurrant and cornflower tea and it was refreshingly good! I particularly LOVE the packaging of their tea boxes. If anyone ever gets to know who has designed them, do let me know!
Small piece of heaven for tea fans in the middle of a large mall. Decor is just excellent - screams class.
Great selection of teas. The menu has a great description of the flavors to expect from each brew.
Had Lavender Oolong tea. Mild, yet refreshing. Calm and soothing.
Blueberry muffin was decent. Fluffy, not overly sweet - very subtle taste of blueberries.
Definitely recommend for tea enthusiasts.
Good ambience with good crowd because good people in tea place.
Really worth of having tea here...
Different taste..
Not pocket friendly..ready to spent good amount..
Excellent ambience. It feels like you entered into some different world where there are no silly noises, people whispering. Just gentle and soft music with soothing aroma of tea leaves. White and golden crockery makes it more lavish and classy. A perfect place to sit and spend your evening with your tea time talks.
Perfect place for a cup of tea with friends and family ! Is kept a degree or two below normal temprature so you can better relish your cup of hot tea.
Seemed a little over priced but the ambience made up for it.
The place has classical ambiance with decent variety of teas. Nice place to sit and chat over a cup of tea. Good service and explanation of products. Worth a visit.
This place has a very unique concept which isnt very common in Pune. The decor is extremely cute and elite. As the name suggests, it's a great place to be for tea lovers with exceptionally good variety of tea. They have this different concept of brewing tea as per light, medium and strong flavours and accordingly they set the time limit.
We ordered for a herbed masala tea and a blackcurrent tea , both of which turned out to be good:)
Though, a little expensive, it's a must for tea lovers.
This place has so much to offer only in one beverage!
Being one of its kind in Pune, this place offers a variety of teas under one roof.
Very cutely made but probably unpopular amongst students. Our experience at this place was truly refreshing between our little shopping trip to Phoenix.
We tried the black currant and the herbal tea . The black currant had a tangy taste and was refreshing.
The herbal tea tasted like the usual herbal masala teas and had a very nice taste.
A timer is provided according to the way you want the tea - light, medium and strong.
I didn't have the zomato app on my new phone, downloaded it just to write a review for "tea place"!
I had one of the best experiences of lifetime, drinking their tea, the cake was coming in 3 pieces each order and just tasted home made, yummy and fresh,
Ordered one saffron black tea and one ginger black tea, i could smell the real saffron, and best quality of black tea,
Also ordered for chicken sandwich, fresh and good.
Being an Iranian and drinking tea daily, I say this is the perfect tea u want to have.
Waoh! This is one of the best places i have visited in pune. Once you enter the place you feel like being greeted with British Royalty. Everything inside is so white and elegant, you just feel like having a book and a cup of tea away from all tension of life outside. The people inside are also very helpful they know their trade very well. I had a watermelon flavored tea and i have to say it was quite rejuvenating.
One of the finest place to visit for all tea lovers.
Note: No cutting chai available 😉
I haven been buying their tea from their outlets in various outlets but this was the first time I actually had their tea brewed by them. It really does make a difference to the end product if you know exactly how to brew it. We had 4 different varieties of black and green tea and each of them was quite distinctive. However they should definitely do something about the range and quality of accompaniments to eat with the tea. And though the ambience is upmarket, they would need to trim those prices if they want more people to come in and try. Rs.1300 for 4 cups of tea and 2 sandwiches is definitely a deterrent.
This restaurant revolves around the art of tea. That's the only beverage served here. I haven't' seen any other place in Pune that offer so many varieties of tea under one roof. The ambiance is something out of a 1920 Victorian tea party at the parlor. The pre-dominantly white interiors with light colored furniture and soft background music augment their masterpiece which the tea that they are serving and you feel the calmness in your mind to fully appreciate the aromas of the beverage. The soundproofing has been a cardinal element acting like a refuge from the bustling mall. As i said that the menu revolves around tea and the food menu restricts to short-crust pastries and sandwiches. Since the place is offering a unique experience, the modest menu feels right for the occasion.
I would like to appreciate the attention that has gone to achieve perfection by taking care of all possible details in the service. For example, the sand clock timer that is placed on the table which tells you how long to brew the tea in la cafetiere to customize the strength of the tea to match your taste. The staff has been well-trained for a silver service and are knowledgeable enough to tackle any curious questions the diners might have to throw at them.
I would recommend this place only for those who like to eat out for the experience more than the food. If you like this place, chances are you will be coming back to enjoy a cup of tea in a quiet room which is very difficult to find these days. For the traditional Indian tea addicts, go for the Ceylon milk tea or the Masala tea on the first page of the menu. For the ones who like to try new things, try the selections in the green tea section or the Japanese tea.
A good addition is selling the tea leaves boxes int he restaurant. You can venture onto new 'tea'rritories and take some leaves home if you like them.
Excellent place for tea addicts. By tea addicts I mean liquor and not dips. My favourite would be the Darjeeling first flush.. Rated it 4 only since I haven't been able to taste all the variety that they have. First place of its kind in Pune.
Liquor tea lovers give it a go.
The place may be a little unlikely for the students to visit but if you really want to pamper yourself with the amazing taste of jasmine tea..this place is it fir you.
Despite the price, I loved the elegance, the ambience, the staff behaviour and attitude and yes..also the pastries.😊
I was at Phoenix mall, and wanted to explore some restaurant. Entered the tea palace. The ambience is very good, it really suits the name.
We ordered sandwiches , green tea with passion fruit and royal Assam tea.
The Assam tea was better.
Over all it was decent.
They serve very nice tea, snacks quality is also decent. Staff is very helpful and ambiance is also pretty cool.
Service time is not good otherwise I would have rated them 4 out of 5.
Firstly, this is strictly a place for people who can decipher the difference between "First Flush" and "Second Flush" tea. This is not a place for people who think tea is only "chai/cutting".
Coming to the actual review:
The decor that greets you on entering is traditional English - neat white chairs, gold rimmed crockery, neatly folded napkins and courteous hosts. We ordered Darjeeling "Champagne" and Darjeeling Autumnal tea with coffee walnut cake and non-veg sandwiches as sides. The food was simple yet delicious to say the least - elegantly presented to go with that. The knowledgable staff served tea in an infuser with a set of hourglasses so that the guests have control on the strength of the brew. It was one of the best tea that we had in the recent past - we like our tea light and smooth and the ones served were just that. Tea being served in an infuser was a welcome sight after being served over brewed tea at reputed cafes around the city. A small note to the restaurant would be to add more items/variety to its food menu. The place is expensive, but since when did good tea come cheap? A small write up about different kinds of tea would go a long way in educating the uninitiated to the wonderful world of freshly brewed full leaf tea.
PS: They also sell all the different tea available on their menu.
The tea place offers an extraordinary tea experience... But let me start of with a warning... This is not a place to have 'chai'.. Because we asked and they have just 2 teas which can be had with milk! For a chai lover like me, this sounded disappointing... But I was intrigued by the ambience and waited patiently for the teas.. Needless to say the ' champagne' Darjeeling tea was a delight... The Ceylon was good too however we spoilt it a bit by adding milk and a tad too much sugar... The teas taste great by themselves as served! The veg sandwich we had was amazing! Muffin was average... The menu seems high priced for tea but the satiating experience more than makes up for it! A recommended try!
Was passing by this place after watching a movie when I decided to walk in. I've to say that it is slightly over priced to pay for a cup of green tea but worth every penny. Got myself a Tangerine and citrus green tea. And I loved every sip of it!
We were curious about this place since the day they put up The Tea Place By Manjushree coming soon board next to the PVR at Phoenix MarketCity mall, Viman Nagar. I am the one who suggested this place to Zomato and it was so awesome of them to add it the very next day.
So, we finally visited the place on Mother's Day 2015. The moment you enter, you definitely would be wow'ed. The English decor, the courteous and polite staff, the Sri Lankan cutlery would really amaze you. You will have so many varieties of teas to choose from. We ordered an Assam Masala Tea (I exactly don't remember the name) and wife wanted to have a vegetable sandwich which wasn't available on a Sunday Evening! No, I am not kidding. Their food menu is very limited and there is nothing for vegans except a sandwich. These guys really need to work on it. Anyways, our tea came quick, the presentation was nice and there was this cute little timer they provide so that you get perfectly brewed tea. The tea was tasting good without milk.
Their prices are quite high and the lowest you pay here for a tea is 165 minus the taxes. I saw 2 bachelors leaving the place right after having a look of the menu!
Being a big time tapri fan, I just wanted to try this place once and what I feel is - this is not the place for every tea fan. Some people like their tea kadak(strong) and some like it mild. So if you are the latter, this is a must try place. Also, you can buy various types of teas from here.
Cheers,
Anant
Finally we have a tea place in Phoenix....and it was worth the wait! The Tea Place by Manjushree is an initiative of the BK Birla Group who want to popularise this country's most loved drink (As told by the very enthusiastic and friendly manager).
We ordered the Darjeeling Champagne and Vintage tea. It was served very promptly and extremely well presented. The tea was well brewed and didn't require any milk. They have a cute timer system which adds to the experience. We enjoyed it thoroughly.
The ambiance is really cute and English. The staff is extremely courteous as well. It's right next to PVR cinemas, so it cannot be missed.
The prices are a little on the higher side but I don't mind paying that much for a premium tea. The collection is also available for purchase in the form of tea leaves and tea bags. I think their eating menu needs a bit of work and variety.
I am a self confessed coffeeholic but I wouldn't mind visiting this place once in a while to indulge myself.
A must visit for everyone. Highly recommended!
Nice & quite place.Tea was nice. The service was good as well. It was a nice experience. It's good to have some places like these for tea lovers :)
My all time favourite place for Darjiling tea ...
It's nice place to sit n njoy
