In the crowded area of camp, this place is located right around the corner and is a good place to spend the evening and spend time with friends. It has cozy feel to it and the coffees are great. We had ordered Americano Hazelnut and Affogato, both were amazing. The staff is very courteous and welcoming.

Absolutely love the wicked brownie here - one of the must haves. The brownie is warm and when paired with the whipped cream and vanilla ice cream, makes for a sinful indulgence! The other items to try are their achari chicken roll and chocolate milkshake.
The place is known for it iconic location right in the middle of MG road which makes it a perfect place for meet ups, business meet or just catching up with friends over a cuppa. The quality and service has not decreased over the years.

Barista has a very chilled out ambience and they’ve done up the place really well in shades of orange, cream and brown. Staff is friendly, they let you spend as much time as you like at the café with friends or by yourself. The Mocha Cappuccino and Wicked Brownie are delicious! Overall, a nice place to hang out.

Chicken tikka in curry bread - though the chicken is fresh and the bread is as crispy as one would wish for in a grilled sandwich , the edges should have been cut to make this even more tasty

Barista never fails with their classic Italian offering! If you are classic Italian coffee lovers, their Affogato, and Espresso is best in taste in classic offering in the town.
The best thing about this is it’s location a good place to hang out with friends and having sip of coffee. The crowd is great ambience is nice service is good .

Ambience is good and there are cosy corners where you can sit with your loved ones
Still the LCD needs to be fixed because it’s way too lower then the height it is supposed to be so be careful if you visit this outlet.
They have started with some point system but it doesn’t help as they don’t have combos in their menu so it becomes expensive.
The taste is good I had paneer tandoori sandwich which was amazing rarely you find coffee shops with great food coffee taste is same like any other coffee shop.
This place is really good for their coffees and desserts! A must come for chocolate desserts and coffee lovers and you are sure to get your sweet cravings fulfilled here.
Amazing place for a chill out with friends. This Barista is operated by Cafe Naaz and the people are really nice and will greet you with a smile. Coffee is good and the preparation is also very nice. The place is also very neat ad clean. Thr only problem is finding a parking spot on mg road because its always pretty packed.

It's pretty huge and the service is good.

Typical Coffee Bar, but the best thing is its location. The corner of one of the busiest roads, just go inside and the hustle of the city will look like a movie scene to you through the glasses. Feels good to be here.

Went here to a quick snack or drink. Tried regular cold coffee. The ambience is perfect to attract people at a busy street. The service was fast and neat. I found the place being over expensive in regard to the service offered.
Visit them almost every time I head to Pune for the Weekend. Their Cafe Latte & Kesar Cappuccino is well prepared. Ambiance is good and so is the service. Avoid the chocolate muffins kept on display, they're pathetic. Feedback was given, but no action taken despite the person handling the corner acknowledging that they've received feedback about it previously. Other than that, pretty good!

Barista Lavazza Espresso Bar is a quiet place in the middle of bustling MG Road and a café that I always visit when I am in the area. I am partial to their hazelnut frappé and though no longer listed on the menu, I still get it when I ask for it. The first sip and I am in heaven! Have the Barista Blast which is another indulgent cold drink. I have had their hot coffees which are also good but prefer to go for their cold coffees and if one opts for ice cream in them - yum!
As one of the first Puniers to have my own Expresso Machine at home (1976) I was thrilled when Barista started opening around the city. Forget eating their meals, and just stick to their Caffé Latte, Cappuccino, or if you like it COLD try their Cold Barista. Their muffins and cakes are pretty good!
Nothing different than regular Barista Joints. Spacious. Although I could see lack of waiters. The place is right at the corner so good view of the road.

This is a place we go to sit for hours or read a book. The ambience is nice and personal. The place does not have any issue for guests sitting for along time. The ordering and service is "Semi-self" where you go up to the counter and order and wait for it to be served at your table. The service is mostly prompt.
The coffee and cakes are great but the attendants need to learn how to brew tea. Despite me telling them how long I want my tea to be brewed, they never follow that and serve over brewed tea all the time.
All in all a place to sit and have those few self dedicated hours.

I like this place just too much. Barista is opened in pune from a long time. I entered barista cafe after a long long time and there was the same smell of coffee and a soothing ambience giving a good view of m.g. Road. I had cafe lattee and a sandwich. It was good peaceful time.

Sit in a corner and read your novel and most important don't be a prig. Try to communicate with others if you're willing to. Because I've found some great friends over there. So have a few chilled minutes there and got refreshed.

Prime location.
Ambience - Very mature. Warm and Soothing. Simple yet good. The big glass wall makes it nice and airy. Makes for a good place to have your own time, alone or with loved one's. Clean washroom.
Service - Welcoming and polite staff.
The coffee - It really is a place for coffee connoisseurs. Their roast is well balanced and the coffee flavourful (their roasting department had received a 'roaster of the year award' from coffee board india). Your coffee won't be short of perfect. Some cafes refuse to customise your drink. Not a problem you'll face here. Good foodstuffs to pair with it too.
Price - You can't say it is expensive, for the quality you get, but definitely not light on you pocket kind cheap. Usual drinks are around 100. Others more expensive.
Final verdict. One of the best coffee houses in pune. Not many cafes can satisfy like this one does.

It is a great place to relax and chit chat with your friends, of course combined with cold coffee and snacks.We went there around 5-ish,and the place was pretty crowded. What makes it even better,that it is located just next to the street, so it gives a street cafe feel. You can just enjoy being there, and watching around. There were many who were just reading some books/magazines and many others who were just working away with their laptops, and simultaneously enjoying their coffee. :)
For a coffee shop, they have a huge variety of items in their menu, which is great. It gives you the ability to choose from a lot of options.
They play some good music as well.
We ordered for the Barista Mocha frappe with lot of chocolate sauce and cappuccino. The frappe was smooth,and both the frappe and cappuccino had a strong aroma of coffee. It was quite refreshing.

I ordered Brrrista Mocha Frrape (Grande) and my friend ordered Barista Blast (Grande). Brrrista Mocha Frrape was fantastic. Strong aroma of coffee and the taste of ice cream with coffee was just too good. I did not taste Barista Blast so I cannot write anything about it. We did not order anything to eat because the coffee was heavy. Well, I will definitely visit Barista again and then I will try their sandwiches and muffin.

Think of Coffee , think Barista Lavazza. My love for coffee will always be there bcoz of Barista Lavazza. But the only thing which i feel short of is there number of outlets in Pune. Such a rich coffee taste with rich aroma. Nothing like it. A everlasting taste which stays on your lips, tongue and heart. Plz do open ur outlet in Bavdhan also.

the food was amazing however I like to have a lite coffee and the coffee was bit dark...
But still I enjoyed having it and relaxing there listening to the music and reading a magazine enjoying my food and coffee....

I like their Cappuccino and Americano but people seem to love all kinds of them here.
Barista looks like a small cafe around the corner from outside but you realize its quite big once you enter.
You can sit here forever if you want, nobody disturbs you even if you are done with your coffee...so its best if you wants some lone time for work or with loved ones.
The Staff is good.
Its steep to the pocket but if you want to have a calm perfect soothing evening over a cup of coffee ,then it is totally worth it.

Being a coffee lover, the awesome staff & absolutely next to my place makes it all the more reason to be there! The new menu with a variety of cakes, sandwiches & brownies and also the huge list of sinful beverages.
Situated right the middle of MG Road this cafe attracts not only locals but also is a good place for international travelers to stop by and grab a nice cup of cappuccino, ice tea or one of the fruit delights!

The main reason I have rated this place 4 on 5 is the excellent location and refreshing ambience. Over the years I have probably visited MG Road Barista at least 35-40 times. I used to study graphology next door and after class I often came here.
Over the years things have changed but the place still rocks. I love people-watching while enjoying a nice rich coffee shake here (my favourite at Barista). My experiences with the food haven't always been good. But the great energy of this place more than makes up for it.
it is located on corner of MG road... the main thing i like about this place is its ambience n light .. its really refreshing and off course coffee... the aroma is very relaxing .. it is crowded but still it doesn't matter .. once u get ur order u forget everything
Centrally located, the cafe has a great array of hot and cold sips, and lip smacking add-ons too . It also serves as a good place for desserts, a perfect end to your meal. The dim lighting and warm decor makes it a nice place to catch up with old friends. It also has interesting coffee merchandise to choose from.
