Entrance of restaurant was attractive and decent. We tried buffet here. They have good starters in non veg but for veg they have only few items like paneer chilly and alu tikki. They also served pani puri abd dahi puri. Taste of Tomato soup was not good but chicken manchow soup was yummy. I liked fish fry in non veg starter. Main course have only two options chicken and fish Gravy. Desert was not too good. Gulab jamun was so sweet. So in desert icecream and balusahi was good.

We ordered a takeaway from this restaurant, were in the mood of having either Chinese or Thai and ended up ordering both. The Thai green curry is absolutely lipsmacking.. a bit on the spicier side but loved it. Then we also ordered the Chicken Chilli Garlic noodles and it was loaded with chicken in every bite.. they give generous portions which fill your tummu however it felt healthy. Didn't feel bloated at all.. am sure to try out the restaurant on near future and see how the ambience is as well.

One of the very few places where you have no scope to complain...and get rated 5 stars without second thoughts.

It's buffet as well as ala carte place, we went for buffet and had no regrets at all.

Generally buffet meals turn into a drag with 2-3 star dishes and rest all only fillers. However, this was an exceptional place with every item to devour on repeat mode.

Great ambiance and service.

Welcome drink needs to improve and rates are bit on higher side. Great place for a couple date or big friends group party.

Must visit.

Tomato coriander Shorba, hara bhara kabab were delicious. Gulab jamun, rabdi jalebi, sheera were just perfect. Pav bhaji was expectedly so well as against the way it looked.

Went on a Sunday evening so the restaurant was not packed. Maybe because of this reason the service was quite quick. One of the reasons for five star rating. Outdoor seating is good, can enjoy the pleasant weather of the city. It's easy on the pockets, especially the drinks. Food was delicious, ordered both veg and non veg, and both were equally good. Asked for a suggestion from the waiter for white wine, the one they suggested was good, ended up repeating the same. Overall, good ambiance, courteous staff, good food, cheap drinks(they had offer on beers and other drinks apart from the menu) ! Kudos. 🥂

Ordered shahi paneer and khushbudaar nargis kofta. People who are bored of paneer and paneer and paneer, should try this dish. They should reduce the amount of garlic used, otherwise a perfect dish to try something other than the regular stuff. Tandoori roti was also good.

Rooftop experience is good. Not very fancy restaurant but you will enjoy your dinner with good live music, though it was a bit too loud. Ambiance could be improved.

A well made buffet at a unbelievable price tag. Has all the frills of a top buffet offering a wide range of starters maincourse desserts and live counters. Only complaint was that some of the items had a tad bitter taste due to oil used. Otherwise good taste and great ambiance. Must visit if in vicinity.
Ambiance 5 / 5
Food 3.5/5
Cost 400 per head on weekdays.

Magnum opus has been one of the best multi-cuisine restraunt they have segmented into veg ,non-veg and for kids ...starters are hilarious with multiple choice, then comes the main course which has proper North Indian taste and best part is dessert ...Do opt for buffet best price with best taste pocket friendly better than other buffets...

Magnum Opus is a great place to enjoy a scrumptious buffet and have a wonderful time.

🚩AMBIENCE (4/5): The place feels spacious and large with a big seating space that can accommodate a large crowd. The interiors are minimalistic but sober and feel decent. Beautiful wall art and paintings that adorn the walls give it an elegant look. Live music accentuates the feel and gives lively vibes to the environment.

🚩FOOD (5/5): The place serves both a la carte menu and buffet. My experience is based on the latter.
The food here is excellent with a lot of variety.

🔺STARTERS: We had Paneer Tikka, Jalapeño poppers, veg momos, crispy veggies, etc. All the starters had good taste and were prepared freshly. The paneer tikka had succulent soft paneer pieces marinated perfectly and cooked on skewers that lent it an awesome flavor. The crispy veggies deserve a special mention for their amazing taste and crunchy texture.

🔺LIVE COUNTER: I totally enjoyed the pani puri here. The pani puri had fresh flavors and the water was tangy with a bit of spiciness, just the way I like it. The dahi bhalla, papdi chat, ragda pattice were drool worthy and the sweet, tangy, hot chutneys with fresh dahi and added sev on top just made it all the more enticing. All the chats were fantastic.

🔺MAINS: After having so many different starters and chaat, pani puri etc, I barely had any room left for the main course. I tried small portions though and they were indeed a treat on the tongue. The lasooni paneer tikka masala, consisting of soft small cubes of fresh paneer, in a thick gravy simmered with spices and hint of garlic felt like heaven with the hot naans. I loved the veg kadhai as well, an assortment of veggies in a toothsome curry having a lightly spicy taste, it felt perfect and the veggies were cooked until tender. The veg biryani is a bomb with a generous amount of spices and perfectly cooked long grain rice.

🔺DESSERTS: No matter how full I'm, there's always room for desserts. I particularly enjoyed the live counter serving piping hot jalebis with thick sweet dry fruit loaded rabdi. It was nothing less than a foodgasm. The juicy, crispy jalebis and the thick rabdi, made for the perfect combination. No matter how many times I've had it before, it feels a wonderful experience everytime again. The gulab jamuns were to die for. Big, soft melt in the mouth and loaded with sugar syrup, they were a treat. Gajar halwa was another marvel and ticked all the right boxes. It was optimumly sweet, and well cooked with generous shavings of dry fruits. I also liked the other desserts like pastries, caramel custard and mousse.

🚩SERVICE (5/5): Despite being crowded, we were attended to and served in a warm way. The waiters are attentive and friendly. Keep it up!

🚩VALUE FOR MONEY (5/5): At 399₹, the buffet is a steal deal with a plethora of options, amazing taste, good quality and unlimited quantity. I'm honestly impressed by the prices and the food that are served at the price, as when compared to other places that charge a bomb and deliver a fraction of the quality I experienced here. They are indeed doing a great job and I'll be back for more.

A wonderful place for an unlimited buffet that too juat for 399/- on a weekday and not more than 450/- on weekends, which certainly sounds an amazing deal, which would cover, a 5 course meal including, delicious appetisers, chatpati chat options, fresh and crunchy salads, mind boggling main course and super sensational desserts. They also have live counters for chats and desserts. Food all around is great, no compromises on quality or taste, and the food is neither too spicy, nor too oily, apt for people visiting of every age. Moreover the variety in veg and non veg is more than enough. Best part was desserts, where you get more than 8 options to choose from and dig in, wether you go for live jalebi, rabri, gulab jamun, halwa, or caramel custard, chocolate or green apple mouse, or even small pastries, everything was actually worth it.

Pricing: 5/5
I recently went for a buffet on a weekday. At the price of Rs.399 for both veg & non-veg, the dishes served were really good.

Ambience: 5/5
The three places are from the same owner offering different sating options to all types of audiences

Food: 4/5
Soothing Shuruath:
Fresh Lime Water was served in both sweet and salty options.
Tomato Rasam was a new and a different touch to the menu.

Veg Starters:
Paneer Tikka was the best. It was really soft and neither too spicy nor less.
Jalapeno Poppers was an interesting addition to the menu served with a mayo dip.

Non-Veg Starters:
Murgh Lasooni Tikka was really appetizing. The sauce, the softness of the chicken was just perfect.
Peri Peri Chicken Finger was decent.

A Live Ragda Pattis Counter served freshly fried, heart shaped pattice. The section also had different types of chaats, Golgappas and Dahi Bhalla.

Shakahari Bhandar:
Lasooni Paneer Tikka Masala was decent. It’s a little on the spicy side.
Veg Kadhai was good.
Exoctic veg in chilli soy sauce with Veg hakka noodles was a good Chinese addition to the menu.
Steamed rice, Dal tadka, Dal khichdi with Veg Dum Biryani satisfied my craving for Indian Food.

Curry club:
Mutton roganjosh, Murgh mughalai curry, & Chicken with Chinese cabbage in hot garlic sauce were delicious main course options in Non-Veg Section

Dessert:
The Jalebi dessert counter served freshly made, warm jalebis with Rabri
The Gulab Jamun was really soft and at the perfect temperature.
Gajar ka halwa was also decent
Apart from these there were many other non-Indian options like Pastries, Mousse, Caramel custard, Ice cream, etc.

Magnum opus is a wonderful place to hang out with your friends or family. The place offers a very decent environment. You can enjoy your dinner with live soft music. They have a buffet system for both vegetarians as well as non vegetarians.
Now coming on to food, we started by having starters which included Chicken tikka, Paneer tikka and jalapeño which were very tasty.
Not to forget they serve you a proper delhi street food like dahi bhalle, chaat papdi, gol gappe, tikki and don’t miss jalebi rabdi. I tasted every single thing and it reminded me of my days in delhi. If you’re a north Indian you’ll definitely love it.
Drinks served too were very refreshing and tasty. Coming on to main course they have a great variety. I had chinese chicken, mughlai chicken, paneer and veg kadhai. All of them were delicious and flavourful.
Now moving on to best part, DESSERTS, they have everything to satisfy your sweet tooth. I had cheescake, pastry, chocolate mousse, gajar halwa, gulab jamun, ice cream and all of them were mouth watering.

The place has a great ambience and is quite economical for the quality they serve. The service was so good. Waiters were very gentle and sweet.
My overall experience with Magnum opus was amazing. This place is a must visit.

People searching for pocket friendly unlimited buffet, here’s the place for you, Magnum Opus is a buffet restaurant serving more than 5 course meals with love kitchen and live counters. They have hot grilled appetisers straight from kitchen with a diversity of veg and non veg. In addition to their live chat counters which was fresh and yummy. They also have a separate counter for salads. Main course had much bigger variety for both veg and non veg, where i just loved their mutton roghan josh, bhuna murgh, tawa veg and biryani. Their dal was delicious too. Then the best part was the dessert where pne would certainly get confused on what to have. One would already be full of delicious food then the dessert is further more tuff to go for yet true food lovers won’t stop there, one couldn’t miss gulab jamun, jalebi, halwa, rabri, caramel custard, mousse when everything is waiting for you to dig in. And not just it, this is one of the most pocket friendly buffet restaurant, where 399/- per person is the weekday cost and 449/- per person is the weekend cost.

This place is a heaven for food lovers. A complete 5 course meal buffet with live chat and dessert counters, hot appetizers straight from the kitchen and hot mains served with rice biryani or bread of your choice. The food prepared at magnum opus seemed a good quality preparation with good spices and mild oily dishes. There is a diverse variety in veg and non veg with every dish standing high for it's own flavours and spices, even the aroma of every dish would drag you to eat more n more. In addition it is a full unlimited buffet so stopping ain't an option. I loved their non veg with chicken peri peri sticks and lehsooni chicken tikka, served hot in appetizers. Also their pani puri and papdi chaat were delicious. Yet the best part was their mains. Mughlai chicken with biryani, hot and spicy chicken with haka noodles or even steamed rice with dal takda. Whatever you have you wil just love it. Their mutton roghan josh, veg kadai and paneer butter masal also were sensational and a must try, coming to the desserts, they are the all time favourite for all which they have also taken a perfect care of, widest variety with live jalebi and rabri counter, hot and soft gulab jamuns, fresh chilled mousse, ice creams, hot halwas, pastries and what not, everything was just amazing. And not even this buffet per person is priced so aggressively that one can just not avoid it. 399/- per person for veg as well as non veg. Yes just 399 for a full 5 course meal buffet. An amazing experience all over.

Seating arrangement with lots of seating area... Happy hours drinks at ₹99... Nice deal... went in for buffet thinking it was 399 as advertised.. but it's not atleast on the weekend I guess... So then went for alacarte.... The dishes ordered came out well... But not sure why it takes a long time to get 2 extra garlic bread..... Overlooking the minor details... Food tastes good.. nice ambience... Was nice way to spend the evening...

Went for a dinner with my parents at this place for the second time yesterday. The ambiance of this place is okayish. The staff, though friendly, I would say requires a bit more training to handle the crowd more smoothly. The service was a bit slow compared to a normal restaurant. The food options are quite adequate, taste is good for some but mediocre for others. This place has two options- either you can take À la carte or you can choose buffet option. Both cost approximately the same.

We ordered Lazeez Jhinga Malai Tikka, Murgh Paneer Tikka, Chicken Dum Biryani and Salted fresh lime soda. The salted fresh lime soda was way too salty, wasn’t a great start. The prawns were really delicious, good enough in size and melting in the mouth. On the other hand, the Chicken and Paneer, when first served, was taken directly off the buffet and was ice cold. We’d to get it replaced immediately. The second time we got it, it was a bit spicy to my taste and the vegetables of the tikka were burned, but the paneer was soft. Then came the star of the night, the dum biryani! I don’t remember the last time I had such wonderful biryani. The chicken:rice ratio was 2:1, which was sufficient for three people. The chicken was spiced amazingly and the rice were cooked to perfection. It really is a must try.

The total bill, including GST and Taxes was good enough, not to high not to low. If you want to go out with your family or friends to enjoy a good meal and chat along, this place is good.

Overall,
Food- 3.5/5
Ambiance- 3/5
Cost- 4/5

Recently #iwasinvited to magnum opus for food tasting. It was on the occasion of their newly launched #399 weekday buffet promotion.

The food was very tasty and hygiene was very well maintained. It’s a huge set up with very good ambience. They also lollapalooza that is pub, and banana leaf which is pure veg restaurant along with magnum opus.

#Soup

I tried tomato hara dhaniya shorba. It was proper shorba and had that indian taste, not too sweet not too sour.

#Starters - #Veg

Peshwai Paneer Tikka - Paneer was well marinated and was very soft and fresh.

Hare Matar ki tikki - It was SUPER tasty, crispy and yumm. but it was little oily.

Vada Pav too was part of starters, but I did not try it.

#Nonveg startes

Turkish Kabab - Little spicey and well marinated, but again - was oily!

Lucknowi gauloti - Tasty but little oily.

#Salads - Did not try

#main_course :

Kolkata Biryani - It was good. Not excellent not average. Not too spicy.

Rassedar Kombadi - Was average. I was expecting it to be little marathi side but taste was different.

#Live_counters

#Papadi chaat

Excellent! Very nice , crisp and chutney was very good. Right amount of sweet and spicey. Totally loved it!

#Pasta counter

Excellent white sauce pasta with enough of cheesy taste!

#Dim-sums

Good. Neither excellent nor average. More than dim-sums, I loved the sauces they has provided. It was superb! Excellent flavours!

#Desserts

Gajar Halwa

Awesome! Could taste proper roasted khoya in it. was topped with lot of dryfruits.

Imarati and Rabdi

This was a show stopper! Imarati being my personal favourite, really enjoyed piping hot imarti with cold rabdi!

----

All and all it was great experience! Great option for relaxing weekday dinner. And yes, they have ladies night at lollapalooza every Tuesday with some fun games.

Would like to highly recommend this place

Everyday while returning from office, I used to see the ads of this restaurant providing dinner at 399₹ from Monday to Thursday. Finally, visited last night. Our host of the day was Ms Preeti, a sweet lady from Assam who was very prompt with services. The menu changes everyday. I’ll list the ones that I had:
Welcome drinks- Cola Mix and Orange
Starters- Chicken sheekh kebab, chilly chicken, crispy cheese balls, paneer, panipuri and papdi chaat.
Main course- White sauce penne pasta, garlic noodles, fish Goan curry, chicken biryani, steam rice and dal.
Desserts- Vanilla ice cream, Imarti with rabdi, pastry, mousse, hot gulab jamun and Gajar ka halwa.
Overall, the ambiance was fantastic. The Goan fish curry, chicken biryani and sheekh kebab were amazingly delicious.
Gajar ka halwa was rich with ghee and of course, really tasty. Imarti with rabdi was heavenly. Gulab jamun were very soft and melted in the mouth. The price including taxes per head was something like 430₹. I would recommend those who love to eat and relax at soothing restaurants.

One of the best experience i had till now at a buffet restaurant was at magnun opus
Magnum opus is situated in pimple saudagar next to kunal icon.

It's a roof top restaurant which has three sections
One is buffet, then a regular restaurant and next is a lounge with a dance floor

Interiors of this place is super awesome
And it's a huge place to celebrate office parties or get to gather..

Recently i visited this place with my friends and opted for their buffet option which was 399 + taxes
Which I found was super exciting and less compare to the other buffet restaurants round that area

They have a huge menu to choose from with wide range of starters to choose from to pasta counter to chat counter to mains
All was perfect and super delicious

Overall verdict Ambience is very beautiful and place is super clean with awesome food with comparative less prices..

For welcome drinks there was refreshing nimbu sharabat and kokum sharabat. Starters served on table had veg options of peshawari paneer Tikka, hare muttar ki tikki while nonveg options were Turkish kabab and lukhnowi gauloti kabab. Muttar ki tikki and galauti kabab were stand out for me. Infact galauti kabab were melt in mouth yummy.

Soups, salads and mains were arranged on buffet table with variety options in veg and non veg. Kashmiri Gosht ka Salan was outstanding in every sense, taste, aroma, cooked to perfection.

The fun part was live counters of chat, pasta, dim sums and dosa. I tried pasta in pink sauce and veg nonveg dim sums. Both dishes were very delicious, right amount of veggies and doing justice to authentic tastes. Papdi Chaat needs a special mention as it was proper delhi style delicious chaat.

The dessert counter was the best of all the counters ! Gajar Halawa was perfect sweet and loaded with dry fruits and khoya. The roasted aroma was giving the perfect lift to the taste. Hot gulabjamuns were soft and melt in mouth. On one counter they were making fresh imarti and was served with rabdi. Combination was perfect to the T.

Overall a great deal of buffet at this price.

Magnum Opus / Lollapalooza is a wonderful roof top restaurant in Pimple Saudagar. It has a multi-cuisine section, open air section (Magnum Opus) as well as a club (Lollapalooza). It is quite a beautiful place to hang out, have a meal or host a party. One problem, though, is that the basement parking is a little hard to find and really filthy and smelly. Something they really need to fix.

They have recently introduced a special weekday dinner buffet for just Rs. 399 (veg & non-veg) which is quite a steal. I was invited for a tasting here and I’m happy to report the food was really good (non-veg, definitely). The service is excellent and the wait staff is very attentive and helpful. They have live chaat, pasta, South Indian, dumplings and dessert counters.

BEVERAGES – We were served Nimbu Sharbat, which was superb and Kokam Sharbat, which unfortunately, didn’t taste anything like kokum.

SOUP – Tamatar Hara Dhaniya Shorba was heartwarming and tasted great. It wasn’t sweet like typical Tomato Soup. Chicken Lung Fung Soup was nice, with spicy soya sauce flavour and loads of chicken. So good, I don’t mind drinking this every winter night!

STARTERS

Non-Veg – Starters were served on the table and I was blown away by the Lukhnowi Galouti Kababs. So juicy and finely minced, soft with a slightly crisp base with wonderful mild spice and meaty aroma and taste. The Turkish Chicken Kababs were nice too.

Veg – Hare Mutter ki Tikki was crispy and delicious. The Paneer Peshawari Kabab was medium spicy, flavourful and soft.

Chaat – We had tangy and spicy pani puri as well as sweet, tangy and crispy Papdi Chaat. Not the best in the world but pretty good.

Dumplings – They were okay, with quite a thick coating and decent fillings.

MAINS

The non-veg mains looked uber delicious, but the veg ones, however, not so much.

Rassadar Kombdi – Extremely delicious, spicy and earthy Maharashtrian curry. The chicken was soft and juicy. Extremely tasty without unnecessary heat.

Kashmiri Gosht ka Salan – It looked good and tasted even better. Thick, rich and spicy curry, with tons of whole spice flavour. The mutton, on bone, was succulent and had absorbed all the masala. One of the best curries I’ve ever had in a buffet.

Kolkata Chicken Biryani – A mild but aromatic biryani with boiled egg. It was really a pleasure to eat. Lack of spice may put off some people, but I really liked it especially after the spicy curries. I cannot comment on the authenticity, though.

DESSERTS – Desserts were pretty good. Imarti with creamy Rabdi was delicious and my pick of the day. The Gulab Jamun and Gajar Halwa was nice too. The cupcakes and pineapple pastry looked decent.

VERDICT

I was really surprised by how good the food was, overall. All the food I had was really good and a steal at just Rs 399. The wonderful breezy roof top, great service and nice club (with DJ) to go dancing make this place a one stop destination in Pimple Saudagar.

Location – Pimple Saudagar, Pune.
We all believe in "First impression is last impression". On that note I must say ,this restaurant won my heart completely. I was truly overwhelmed by their hospitality.
We got a refreshing welcome with mocktails like mango delight and kiwi sharbat which was perfect heat buster.

Now comes to the main sin.😉
Starters: In Veg I had Hare Mutter ki tikki, it was nicely blended with right amount of spices. In short, *A perfect start*
Then comes Shanghai Paneer – Fresh Paneer tossed in Aromatic sauce with some exotic veggies. A must try.

In N.veg,
Murgh Angara - A nice kickstart to our tastebuds with right amount of spice n a juicy chicken cooked to the perfection.

Fish Fingers – An all time favorite, served with a rich Cheesy dip, was complimenting very well to the fish.

#Now it's time to my favorite
#chatcounter
I tasted papadi chat Which was just yummm, A perfect balance of sweet, spice & tang.

#Now comes to pasta - we had Arrabiata and Alfredo, it was loaded with veggies n full of flavours.

#In main's
They have nice spread of veg and non veg delicacies,
We went for sabji handi, with butter nan (diet ki aisi ki taisi)
Exotic veg in human sause (नाव ऐकून मला वेगळंच वाटलं ) #BOTH WERE GOOD IN TASTE.
Veg hakka noodles - one of my favorite.

How can we leave or Live😉 without Desserts-
So here it goes, Gajar Halwa, Rasagulla, Orange Mousse, Pineapple Pastry, Vanilla Ice Cream.... Bassss, I am full by now.

#Lollapalooza #MagnumOpus and #BayLeafBistro are three different destinations at one single place in #PimpleSaudagar.

#IWasInvited to experience one of them at the launch of #Weekday #Dinner #Buffet package.

The spread was rich, and menu had a long list of items which were good enough to make your stomach feel overwhelmed before you even begin.

Before you come out of state of surprise, comes the bigger surprise, the price! This Weekday Dinner Buffet menu is priced #JUST at Rs. 399 + taxes.

To add to that, Veg and Non-Veg packages are priced same.

PLUS, they have live music session ongoing.

IFF you are still there and have not already started rushing towards the place, please continue to read further as I cover some important points about the experience.

****Food****

--Spread--

From welcome drinks to live imarti - rabdi counter and from chat - salads to sumptuous desserts the list was quite long.

--Let's count :P --

2 Welcome Drinks + 2 Soups + 3 V - 2 NV Starters + V/NV Dim sums + 6 Salads + 2 V / NV Main course Subzi + 4 Rice / noodle preparations + Assorted Indian breads + Live Pasta Counter + Live Anna Dosa Counter + 6 Dessert items + Live Imarti Counter

Hush... exhausted while counting itself.

--Taste--

If I had to summarise about taste in one line for you, it would be like

'It's like a movie of which initial few minutes can be skipped, builds up the plot very well till interval, continues the pace and keeps you engaged till end and finishes off with amazing climax.'

****Service****

Polite, quick and had abundant persons to ensure each person is served well.

Too make us feel special we were greeted with roses and had dedicated sitting allocated and marked with our names.

****Ambience****

The entire place is on roof top of a commercial complex and has covered and open seating areas.

All three places mentioned in the beginning are well differentiated with the kind of decor they had reflecting what they have to offer.

#MagnumOpus had typical buffet area with counters located in the middle of tables surrounding it. Plus had a open area too.

#BayLeafBistro which is a pure veg bistro had all green artificial leave / trees to mark its territory.

#Lollapalooza had all the buzz and all the bling of dance floor.

The only #Negative which I found was the lower basement area where the car parking facility was provided had Very bad and filthy presence. Some sewage / waste water flowing. The bad odour alone is enough to spoil your mood for food.

#ThisNeedsAttention

****ValueForMoney****

I can bet while saying that @ Rs 399 #MagnumOpus offers tremendous value for money without any compromise on food spread, service and experience.

With its open top atmosphere, it's one of the best place to enjoy your food and drinks.

PLUS, IFF you have a plan and have invited friend for a #Party then you have an option of #DanceFloor to let your body loose.

I would say it's a shopping mall of different dining experience, which has everything for everyone on offer.

#MagnumOpus #Lollapaloooza

Hello everyone, will you believe me if i tell you all that you can get a lavish spread of buffet dinner (veg + non veg) at just Rs.399++ per head? Well that's possible at Lollapalooza's sister concern restaurant, Magnum Opus at pimple saudagar.

Read on guys, you will be amazed at the variety they are offering at this price...👍😍

They have come up with this concept of weekdays buffet dinner which costs rs. 399/- (plus taxes) per head. Same will cost you rs. 650/- (plus taxes) during weekends.

Let me begin with a few inputs about the restaurant....This is a rooftop restaurant with quite inviting ambience. We were welcomed warmly by their staff and were escorted to our tables. I was truly overwhelmed by their hospitality. Staff was very polite, prompt and service was top notch. Seating was comfortable and they had an option of indoor as well as outdoor seating.

The cherry on the cake was a live singer and guitarist who was seated at the outdoor section and was singing melodious numbers, enjoyed his singing to the core.

Now coming to the food, I must say they are offering a great spread and lots of variety in food items for this price. They have you covered right from refreshing welcome drinks to delectable desserts.

I won't be talking in length about each and every item i tasted here but would like to give a brief about what i liked or disliked. Guys i'm trying to be as honest as i can be with my review, so take this as a genuine opinion.

So here i go...

#Drinks 🍹 - We were served two chilled refreshing drinks namely, Nimbu Sharbat and Kokam Sharbat. Nimbu sharbat was nice and flavourful but i found kokam sharbat little bland in the first batch, next time they got a better version of it upon mentioning it to them.

#Soups 🥘 - There were two varieties of soups...Tamatar Hara Dhaniya Soup was okay, it was too sour, i could have given it a skip but Chiken Lung Fung Soup was fab. It was a must try for sure.

#Veg_Starters 🍡 - There were two starters each of veg as well as non veg. In veg, we got Peshawari Paneer Tikka which was quite nice and well grilled, paneer was super fresh and another was Hare Mutter ki tikki, this was too good, crispy and delicious...we ordered one more serving of this.
They had Vada Pav as well but i did not try it.

#Non_Veg_Starters 🍢 - They served us one chicken and one mutton starter, Chicken Turkish Kebab was good, well cooked boneless chicken tikkas...i would prefer if it was spicier though. Next was Mutton Lukhnowi Galouti Kebab, this was amazing. It wasn't melt in mouth kinds but it was definitely tasty.

All the starters were hot and served on table promptly by the staff.

#Salads 🥗 - There salad counter had a variety of salads and greens with four kinds of dressings to go.... also there was curd rice, but sadly i couldn't try any of those so cannot comment anything about the taste.

#Live_Counters 🍴 - Okay, so they had a few live counters as well which included chat counter, dosa counter, dimsum counter, pasta counter and imarti counter. Having such a great variety of live counters was amazing.

#Chat_Counter 🌶️ - I loved their papdi chat, it was a perfect mixture of sweet, sour n spicy with that much needed crunch, definitely a thumbs up to this one...they also had paani puri and dahi bhalle...both were just okay, did not impress me much.

#Dosa_Counter 🌯 - Here we had an option of masala dosa, cheese masala dosa or uttappa... I ordered masala dosa, the potato sabzi, coconut chutney and sambar that came with my dosa were upto the mark.

#Dimsum_Counter 🍜 - We were served veg and chicken dimsums with lots of dips to choose from, both the dimsums were really nice. Taste was authentic.

#Pasta_Counter 🍝 - We had a choice of sauces and pasta to choose from, I ordered a Pink Sauce Penne Pasta with lots of veggies. It was bang on. Very well made and truly yummy.

#Imarti_Counter 🍥 - They were serving garma garam imarti right from the kadhai to your plate along with rabdi to go with it. It was lovely...not very sweet, just perfect.

#Main_Course 🍛 - Again they had lots of veg as well as non veg dishes for main course which included Paneer Achari, Palak & Kala Chana Sabzi, Dal Tadka, Dal Khichdi, Veg Hakka Noodles, Rassadaar Kombdi, Kashmiri Gosht ka Salan & Kolkata Biryani with Rotis and Jeera Rice. I felt veg main course was okayish...nothing great mentioning about it, but in non veg both the gravies were brilliant...well cooked pieces and perfectly spicy...enjoyed both the gravies a lot.
Even kolkata biryani was very tasty and quite authentic with lots of potatoes which enhanced the taste of biryani furthermore.

#Desserts 🍨🍰 - Now this is my favourite section as all the desserts were amazing, none of those disappointed me. The dessert menu consisted of Gulab Jamun, Gajar Ka Halwa, Pineapple Pastry, Cup Cakes, Vanilla Ice Cream and a live imarti counter as i mentioned above.
Gulab Jamun was fully soaked in the syrup and it was melt in mouth, full marks to this.
Gajar ka Halwa was humble, not very sweet, with loads of khoya and nuts...yumm yum 😋😋
Pineapple Pastry was fresh, soft and juicy. Cup cakes were nice too but i found it a bit dry.

Overall this place impressed me with their courteousness, quick service, cleanliness, variety of menu and ofcourse food...few dishes would have been even better if they uplifted the spice levels a little bit, but overall it was enjoyable. We gave the due inputs about the same to Team Lollapalooza. I am sure they will work on it sportingly.

This is definitely a value for money deal if you are looking for dinner options during weekdays or even for weekends for that matter.

Final Verdict:
Service 5/5
Quality 5/5
Cleanliness and Presentation 5/5
Taste 4/5
Value For Money 5/5

They have a pure veg fine dining restaurant as well named as Bay Leaf Bistro just next to Magnum Opus on the same rooftop following which is Lollapalooza, a well known pub in this area of pune.

Lastly i'd like to thank #TeamLollapalooza for a wonderful evening... I had a great time indeed.

Go for it guys, am sure you will come home happy...😊😍

If you are looking for a weekday dinner with your teammates then your search is over! #Magnum_Opus/#lollapalooza is the place you should be looking for! An unbelievable launch of buffet dinner on weekdays, may it be veg/non-veg : just at Rs.399/- (+taxes) How awesome is that!!

#Magnum_Opus had their launch of the buffet dinner on weekdays and #iwasinvited. They have this nice and spacious place with neatly arranged wooden tables. They have divided it in covered and open area. The open area was a bar and cocktails counter and live music. Even though the closed and open area were separated by doors, we were able to hear the live music. The guy singing was almost at the other end. That was quite impressive.

So this buffet was all about live counters!!! Live counter for pasta, dimsums, chaat, south indian food and garamaagaram imrati with rabdi. Gosh! I have not seen so many live counters at one place! To start with the starters they had Peshawari paneer tikka and hare mutter ki tikki in veg and turkish kebab and lucknowi gauloti in non-veg. Both the veg starters were good and tasty. The mutter ki tikki tasted more like a bread pakoda. The non-veg starters were also nice. Im not much of a kebab person but I personally liked their turkish kebab. It was nice and soft and neatly cooked. We wanted to try most of it so didn’t turn towards the soup and salads section. However, I think it would have been great if there was a pasta salad in it. A lot of people like those.

Then came the pasta from the live counter. It was penne pasta in white sauce with lots of veggies and the right amount of spice. We could have had one more portion of it but there were the dimsums waiting for us. The non-veg ones were more tasty! Moving to the main course, in veg they had palak aur kala chana an paneer achaari. I had not seen the combination of palak and kala chana so I was a bit scared to try it but to my surprise it was really good. The paneer achari was perfect I must say as the paneer was nice, soft and fresh! The non-veg main course had rasaadar kombdi and kashmiri gosht ki salan. The Kashmiri gosht ki salan was bang on! It had the right amount of spices and the curry perfect in consistency. I don’t like mutton but I loved it here! The Kolkata biriyani was full of flavour and spice! That one biriyani I was trying to find for so many days! To go with the main course we had ordered a plain wheat roti. I would specifically like to mention here that even though it was a wheat roti with no butter it was very soft and remained soft till the end. Generally rotis turn chewy but these didn’t. Fulk marks here!!!

The chat counter seemed to be as common as any others. They had pani puri and dahi wada on their plate which was okayish. We were so full with all these items and with desserts in front of us, we couldn’t do any justice to the dosa counter. Couldn’t try any of it.

Now comes the interesting part: the desserts!! They had mast hot gajar halwa, gulab jamun and ice cream, cup cake, pineapple pastry and imrati with rabdi! My husband is very picky about his gajar halwa and I must say they have nailed it here because he loved the gajar halwa here. The gulab jamun was perfectly soaked in the sugar syrup so much so that it literally melted when I put it in my mouth. The pastry and cup cake was same asusual. The hero here was imrati with rabdi. It gets too sugary when both of these come together. But it didn’t happen here. Both the imrati and the rabdi had the right amount of sugar. So when eaten together it tasted awesome!

Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely like to give another visit! The staff here was polite and were attending the guests pretty well. #Team_lollapalooza were very keenly hearing our feedbacks. Keep up the good work #Team_lollapalooza and looking forward to see you soon.

It's just next to Lollapalooza; been to Lollapalooza earlier and thought of going next time to Magnum opus... As came with a kid over there, it was not an issue as they have a separate playing area for them.. And then they also have happy hours before 8, reached at 7.30 and utilized happy hours to maximum. Starters and food was good.. No complaints.. Nice time...

Magnum Opus truly redefines rooftop experience! The whole place is surrounded by greenery which adds a fresh factor to the whole place ! I visited this place for their Sunday Brunch Buffet and the experience was fantastic ! They have a great variety in the buffet right from drinks, starters, mains, desserts and live counters ! I especially loved the Lasuni Paneer Tikka Masala, Dal Panchmel in the mains ! The authentic Indian sweets here are to die for and do not give Gajar Ka Halwa & Rasgulla a miss as they are made in-house and taste fantastic ! 😍

Gosht Adraki Soup – This is how a dinner should begin. Great soup with rich flavours of lamb. Slight hint of cinnamon makes you love it more. Quite contrary to the name, I didn’t taste any ginger though. Yet a lovely soup and a must try. Tom Yum Prawn Soup – This was just okay. Nothing too bad but failed to please my taste buds. The portion of prawns in the soup was good enough but somehow the overall soup broth didn’t have that distinct flavour.

Venue: Magnum Opus

Date: 29-08-18

Time: 7.30PM

Mangum Opus, it means the greatest work of an artist. Here, the magnum opus is not an artwork it is a casual dining restaurant. Magnum opus is a part of three restaurants situated on the same roof. It has a small indoor section and a huge outdoor seating with a buffet section. The staff here is courteous and is on toes to give you the best experience.

As mentioned the place serves buffet and they have a la carte menu to order from. We decided to go with a la carte. We tried a few dishes from the menu and writing about it bellow.

We tried soups to start with

Gosh Adraki Shorba

A very flavorful mutton stock. It missed the ginger flavor but I loved it as it was bursting with other flavors. The soup had a beautiful meal flavor and a layer of fat, it had small shreds of meat. They can serve it as mutton shorba and it will work.

Tom Yum Prawn

It was a good tom yum soup, decent flavors good taste but prawns lacked freshness. The soup couldn't acquire the prawn flavor. Overall a good soup but can be improved.

We tried Salad also

Lebanese Chicken Salad

I ate just one chicken chunk and it was good. I can not comment more on that as it was a salad.

We tried three starters,

Pastuni Chap

Lip smacking mutton ribs!! The marination was spot on, it kept the meat tender. The meat was cooked very well, the tenderness told the story. I loved the kebabs, definitely, people must try this.

Five Spice Crispy Wings

The name itself tells you about the preparation. Wings were tossed in their 5 spice sauce and it was dominated with anise. I loved it, the mix of spices worked well for me.

Lazeez Zinga Malai Kebab

The Prawn were marinated in cheese, yogurt, and nutmeg. They were nicely cooked in tandoor. Everything went very well except the prawn. Again lacked in freshness. They had a bad batch of prawn I guess.

We had to curries with cheese garlic naan. Naan was well made, wasn't chewy.

Kashmiri Rogan Josh

Wah Wah were the words came out of mouth when I pulled the meat of the bone. Wonderfully cooked mutton with rich and tasty gravy. The rogan was in full josh. Mutton was the show stopper.

Dahi Machi Masaledar

Super thick rich gravy with fish cubes. The gravy was medium spicy. it had good taste and the fish was fresh, all and all a good fish main course.

I loved all the mutton preparation here, the chef knows his meat very well. I had a very good experience at Magnum Opus.

Approach for the restaurant is a bit of task and that’s the end of trouble. Staff is really warm n courteous and would make make you comfortable.
We ordered Honey chilli potatoes, tomato shorba, veg pizza n mint cooler. All were really good in taste n texture. May be a sprinkle of sautéed spring onions would have done the trick for honey chilli potatoes but I would still live with what I got here.
The ambience was contemporary. Food was pocket friendly.
Overall I would recommend this place for good taste.
Innovation quotient is an improvement area but I think they played safe.

Order: Hunan roasted chicken
Indonesian sizzler

Cost: 1500

Compliments to the chef, it was so good everything was perfect. The Hunan roasted chicken was tender juicy, nicely marinated, the onion was pleasingly caramalized. All the veggies were properly diced and sauted to perfection. Every bite gave the rich flavour of sauce. Amazing is the word. 10/5

Indonesian sizzler was equally good but for meat lovers if you want a non veg sizzler they do not have that option. With was served with rice and tossed veggies. It had zucchini, cabbage, cauliflower but no potatoes which was a bit disappointing but the taste made up for it. 4/5

Special mention to the gravy with the sizzler, that was absolute perfection and added so much more flavour. 5/5

Our host was Shahid he took good care of us and everytime we picked the spoon he ran over to serve us.
Ambience was great.

A good place to hang out. A different take on dinning out. Three types of restaurants under one roof. The food is good, nothing too special but definitely not bad. (Except for sweets! God, the Indian sweets were such a surprise.) It's all about the ambiance. As I was saying, three restaurants: Magnum Opus (the buffet- veg non veg, Bay Leaf Bistro(pure vegetarian) and Lollapalooza (disco and bar and food) Live music to go with too. USP - Ambiance, 399+5% tax for Magnum Opus (on weekdays only) buffet- veg and non veg. Both at the same price. A good place to go with family.

Pricing: 5/5 I recently went for a buffet on a weekday. At the price of Rs.399 for both veg & non-veg, the dishes served were really good. Ambience: 5/5 The three places are from the same owner offering different sating options to all types of audiences Food: 4/5 Soothing Shuruath: Fresh Lime Water was served in both sweet and salty options. Tomato Rasam was a new and a different touch to the menu. Veg Starters: Paneer Tikka was the best. It was really soft and neither too spicy nor less. Jalapeno Poppers was an interesting addition to the menu served with a mayo dip. Non-Veg Starters: Murgh Lasooni Tikka was really appetizing. The sauce, the softness of the chicken was just perfect. Peri Peri Chicken Finger was decent. A Live Ragda Pattis Counter served freshly fried, heart shaped pattice. The section also had different types of chaats, Golgappas and Dahi Bhalla. Shakahari Bhandar: Lasooni Paneer Tikka Masala was decent. Curry club: Mutton roganjosh, Murgh mughalai curry, & Chicken with Chinese cabbage in hot garlic sauce were delicious main course options in Non-Veg Section Dessert: The Jalebi dessert counter served freshly made, warm jalebis with Rabri The Gulab Jamun was really soft and at the perfect temperature. Gajar ka halwa was also decent Apart from these there were many other non-Indian options like Pastries, Mousse, Caramel custard, Ice cream, etc.

Both veg starters were good and tasty.
