The akkha Masoor here is one of the best you can ever have. I really like the food here. Especially the butter roti with Akkha Masoor. The quality and cleanliness is improved than the next time. It proved to be worthy for time. Also no tension and hassle of what to order.... So overall it's a very good place.
A dish that not every resturant can prepare in the authentic way! I tried their speciallity of akha masur and tandoori roti when I didn't even know there existed a curry like this

Awesome spicy Taste !! Unique cuisine Akkha Masur, Just loved it. Jagat bhari is the place for spicy Kolhapuri Akkha Masur and is just mind blowing. Visit atleast once. You gonna lobe it too.

Love this place.. ambieence is ok but taste is fabulous.. all items has great taste. Specially I am in love with rotis which they serve. And obviously akkha masoor. I visited this place atleast 10 times all time favourite place.
I hv been thr around 3 months back..the hotel is okk..but we have tasted thr akkha masoor, lasuni massor, roti and khuska rice..
I must say the taste was amazing..fro then we are everytime order this food..
I will recommend this place n food to my people.

I have been hearing and seeing posts about this place again and again. One fine day I was roaming around that area, thought to visit there.
The place is very simple looks like a normal outlet, simple table and plastic chairs to sit.
This place is famous for akkha masoor, and they are pro at this.
We ordered –
· Lasoon masoor (9/10) – it was superb, with extra tadka of lasoon aka garlic, and I feel that made it perfect with butter roti.
· Butter roti – king size roti, I was surprised to see that big tandoori roti, but it was evenly cooked and crispy at same time.
· Papad – as usual.
Total damage – 376 for two people.
Food is very tasty.
Akka masoor really good.
Rice also very tasty 😋.
Prefer food from here.

After hearing from couple of people I ordered Akkha Massoor from JBK. Quantity was way more than expected. Medium spicy and taste was good. Close to authentic Akkha masoor which is grown and cooked in Satara. (Delivered by Zomato)
Thought of trying new rather than eatting typical paneer recipes..
Enjoyed the dinner having Kolhapur's special dish..."Akkhaa Masoor" with Roti and khushka rice with fried onion slices on it.Limited menu options but everything is very tasty. The Misal and Loni sponge dosa are also too good options for Breakfast

Akaa masoor is the dish you should come here for.
Tried missal here, not at all recommended.
Ambience is not that great, old structure and tables.
But the akka masoor is their signature dish. Tou can even taste your food for spice level. You can alter according to your taste.

After reading reviews i wanted to give it a try, so. Ordered "Akkha Masur", delivery is on time, taste is a fantabulous. Highly recommended. Specially for those who are tired of eating Paneer.
I have been visiting this place from last 3 years and the teast has remained the same as it was earlier. They serve the very authentic delicacy from Sangli-Islampur area "Akhha-Masur" and trust me your teast bud's will definitely going to recognize the same teast. The staff is very polite they all are mostly from Satara-Sangli-Kolhapur area and they are a very clean environment. If you want that authentic पश्चिम महाराष्ट्र teast then this is the best place for you!!
Whenever I visit this place, it never disappoints me. Same quality, same taste, same menu since last 5 years. Akkha masoor, Dahi with Thecha, Khushka rice, each and every dish is awesome.

Minimalist Basic Ambience , highly pocket friendly and perfectly scrumptious is what "Jagaat Bhaari Kolhapuri" can be described as !!!
They have very few items in the menu but each item on the list is a mouth watering deal. Famous for "akkha masoor (lasooni) & tandoor roti" ( A very big and yummy roti ) , we are guaranteed to lick our fingers after having this irresistible dish. They can serve half "akkha masoor" as well . Khuskha rice is one kind of rice with fried onion garnish to be eaten with "akkha masoor" . Moreover we can order their vanilla milkshake which is a very yummy ice cream milkshake.
I am always full on stomach with very less debit in my wallet and yummy akkha masoor on my mind after a visit here.
Definitely worth a visit ..
PS : Ambience is basic and menu is limited . But the dishes are absolute delight. !

Though everyone knows, that this restaurant is famous for akkha masoor, but guys you need to check their breakfast which include davangere loni dosa and kolhapuri misal. Dosa just experienced me the same taste I use to had in kolhapur. Must visit and try.
This place serves the best misal.Misal was good to taste with the exact spice.They serve misal with pao and farsan.They also serve here really delicious dakshin davangiri dosa.Dosa is loaded with butter (loni) and was very crispy.It was served with two types chutneys,white and red and also potato subji,which also tastes good.Just the thing is there is alot of loni used which makes it oilly somehow.
In afternoon times they have akkha masur which is also very special items of here.
If you want a parcel to take away it is also given well packed you just need to carry a tiffin for the curry(tarri).
They also have some delicious vanilla flavoured milk which is tooo yummy.
Overall this is a must try place!

This hotel is located opposite to City Pride Satara Road Multiplex. I visited this place with family to have BRUNCH around 11 AM. I was told that it is famous for Akkha Masoor, so asked the hotel staff about akkha masoor. But they politely denied because of the serving timings of Akkha masoor. They serve breakfast related items from 8 AM to 12 PM and Akkha Masoor and roties etc. from 12 PM to 3 PM in afternoon and 7 AM to 11 AM in the evening. So I decided to have their famous Misal Pav along with extra Paav Jodi, Solkadhi and Loni Dosa. The hotel staff gave me two options for Misal Paav, Spicy or medium Spicy. I preferred Spicy.
The Misal Paav was different and tasty than the other missal paav I had. The misal was made of Farsan + Aloo Subjee + Mataki + Misal Gravy. If you hungry enough then ask for extra paav Jodi, because the one bowl of misal is enough for six single paav. The taste of Solkadhi is ok. It was thin also.
The Loni Dosa was so delicious that I have to order another one. It was really different from those I had at other Loni Dosa providers. They serve only single Loni Dosa instead of three (three loni dosa - practice followed by most of Loni Dosa providers). They serve Loni Dosa with Aloo Subjee + Coconut Chutney + Red Chutney. The Coconut Chutney was made with cloves so different taste. I am pretty sure you will have Loni Dosa without any chutney or Aloo Subjee. I ate the other loni dosa without chutney. The best thing of Loni Dosa was that loni was not only at centre of dosa but also at each and every part of dosa.
The hotel runs the coupon system, so first you have to pay for your meal and then they serve the ordered food. If you require any thing in the middle, the hotel staff will provide you the same instead of asking you to take coupon which is good for people like me who do not prefer to leave the seat while eating. They bill you for extra items at the end.
About ambience – While entering the Hotel, you cannot imagine that there is plenty of space inside. So Don’t Judge the Hotel by Its Entrance. The Ambience is ok. The place is clean and tidy.
If you are looking for Misal Paav Parcel, you should carry a container for misal. They don’t provide plastic container because of recent ban on plastics.
Will visit again for Akhha Masoor soon.

This place is THE BEST for Akkha Masoor, but I tried their Misal Pav for the first time, which is breakfast exclusive (till 12 noon)
The Misal Pav was so soothing and filling.
The base is made with potatoes and farsan.
They serve the sample piping hot. It has apt spice and solid flavor. It will start getting intense once you come midway and you will enjoy it even more.
Will visit again for sure. Must try from my side!!
If you are travelling on Satara Road, then u can't definately miss this place. The menu is very basic yet fulfilling.. Akha Masoor and Naan/ Roti gives Desi Vibes of Rajma Chawal. The Dinner also includes jeera rice with lots of fried onions also known as Khuska Rice. The service is great..Seating Area is moderate. Pocket friendly Wholesome Meal 😃
Best ever akkha masoor in Pune. The taste is good. Service is fast. Ambience is average. No proper ventilation so sometimes the eyes itch due to a lot of masala spread in the air. The price is a bit on the upper hand but justifies the taste. Their Khushka rice is a must have which comes along with fried onions which gives it a unique taste.
Had viewed about this hotel on Google Maps. Wanted to check the akkha masoor dish. Taste wise it was average, could have been more tasty with necessary spices. The butter roti was although perfectly cooked.
The goto place for Aakha Masoor. Fairly priced, easily accessible with road connectivity. Ample of open parking. If you are going in the peak time there could be some waiting especially on a weekend evening. The service is fast and you don’t have to wait a lot for the food. Try Khuska Rice at the end.
Located conveniently in front of City Pride theater, this hotel serves delicious food! Breakfast menu timings are till 12 noon and lunch timing thereafter. Misal-paav is served in breakfast. Prices are a little bit on the higher side compared to the portions they serve, so this can be an area of improvement. The taste is very good; I enjoyed my hot lunch here. Sol kadhi is also an item to look out for. Served cold, it is a concoction made from coconut milk and other ingredients; delicious!!👍🏻
Tastiest misal in this area for a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly. Along with misal also have a dosa counter. We had a Loni masala dosa. It was the tastiest Loni dosa I had in recent times.
Excellent food. Not so clean. It's my most favorite spot for the last 15 years. The food taste is spot on. The cleanliness, however, is continuously degrading.

One star is less for the ambience and atmosphere, everything else is really good. I haven't had better Akkha Masoor and Masala bhat in Pune then here at Jagaat Bhari Kolhapuri. I have been enjoying their delicacy for the last 12 years and there is no variation in taste and quality. It has become so nostalgic for me now every time I eat there with my old friends. The service is fast, you will not have to wait for your food to be served hot and tasty.
