The food is excellent here.We tasted a Japanese chicken dish and chicken irani kebabs.They serve quite a generous quantity.The kebabs we're juicy and had an authentic smoky flavour while the Japanese chicken wings were sweet and spicy sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds.Od definitely visit to try some more dishes.Ambience wise it's very basic and tiny.

We were in the mood for sizzlers and decided on Asanjo after reading rave reviews about their sizzlers. The restaurant is small, but the space is well utilized and functional with focus being on food and conversations.

We ordered the Jujeh Kebab and Chicken Sizzler with mushroom brown sauce. The Jujeh Kebab had an authentic Iranian taste that I hadn’t tasted in a while. It was spiced and cooked to perfection. The accompaniments with the Kebab were also tasty and complimented the dish well.

Though the Jujeh Kebab was amazing, the Chicken Sizzler was somehow even better! Marinated chicken breasts were succulent and juicy. Grilled veggies and fried rice were well cooked and the brown mushroom sauce provided the extra umami that we were looking for.

Overall, Asanjo has done a wonderful job of bringing international dishes and flavors into their food and their hard work shows! We can’t wait to go back there and try dishes from other parts of the world.

1) Cheese Buldak : Found it similar to Chinese chicken with shredded cheese. 4/5

This place is amazing, one of my fav, be it their food or hospitality, have been there 4 times, there’s one Bengali guy who always suggest what we should eat according to our appetites, I have had hasselback chicken, lubina, chicken sizzler which is called Bandeja Paisa, starter we had siriacha chicken, harissa minced chicken, everything you try has a unique taste, prepared very diligently and presented beautifully

I had been here once before, but as they were about to shut down, I just ordered something over the phone to satisfy my hunger.... This time around, I had all the time in the world and decided to try this place again!

We ordered a starter the papas ala saif which had the yellow pepper cheese sauce.... The taste was soo good and it reminded me of a South Indian curry (paldya)... I ended up cleaning up the plate! :D

For the mains, we ordered Dawood Basha and the curry again was lip smacking! The veg balls along also tasted great! The food presentation did catch our attention, but the taste remained the king as it should be!

Definitely visiting this place again!

The awesomely versatile menu offers you and exclusive selection of lipsmacking global delicacies with magical flavours. Trust me, even the 'Cream Of Broccoli Soup' was to die for. I enjoyed some succulent kebabs and finally devoured a 'Grilled Chicken Steak'. The quantity was killer. The prices were reasonable. This place opens a whole new world for me to explore.

Ordered for the first time seeing the high ratings. Ordered fish wonders with rice. There were two fish dishes(basa), herb rice, salad and a brownie. I did not like the brownie at all, but the rest of the food was quite nice. Though I wish restaurants would start serving other types of fishes as well. Basa is usually pretty tasteless. Over all a good experience.

I was recently invited to a food tasting at Asanjo, which literally means 'Ours' in Sindhi and Italian.
Located opposite Westend mall in Aundh, this is a nice cozy place, popular for its global cuisine.
As soon as you enter, the aroma of freshly made sizzlers and italian curry rice will hit you.

Here's a lit of everything that I had here and my verdict on the place:

- Feta chili mushroom – Rs. 230
Button mushrooms tossed in olive oil with onion, garlic in mildly spiced feta chili cream sauce.
This was the first starter that arrived and god, it set the bar really high! Super creamy white sauce with melt in the mouth mushrooms, this was extremely delicious. I'm not usually fond of veg starters but this was incredible!

- Spicy sriracha chicken with basil - Rs. 280
Chicken chunks tossed with onion, garlic, bell peppers, sriracha chili sauce, green chili, fish sauce, Oyster sauce, basil & lemon juice

Anything stir fried usually excites me, hehe. The chicken was nicely cooked and stir-fried in oyster and fish sauce. The starter was yum and pretty safe to order if you're going out with a bunch of people with varied taste buds. 9/10 people are bound to like this one! :D

- Prawns Ji Ajilo - Rs. 390
A Mexican delicacy made with Prawns that are fried in a pan with butter or vegetable oil and a specially made Lemon Garlic butter sauce, in which slices of garlic and seasoned with salt, black pepper, lemon, and parsley or coriander.

I cannot describe how amazing this was! Like seriously, if you're a seafood fan, you MUST try the Prawns Ji Ajilo. This starter gets a 10/10 for its presentation, taste and freshness! (Highly recommended)

- Banjara Kebab ( Rs. 280
Chicken Banjara is the delicious spicy kebab, fully loaded with the fresh spices, coriander and cumin flavor. Here boneless chicken is coated in the spicy marination of yogurt and then charcoal grilled in a Tandoor.

Everything that you can expect from a standard Banjara Kebab was there in this! The kebab was flavorsome and the chicken was succinctly cooked.

Mexican delight. Regular flavored tortilla topped Exotic veggies, seasoned & spice with oregano chilli flakes, black pepper, fresh cream, mayo, Amul Cheese & parmesan baked with Mozzarella Cheese. Served with Cheese dip.

I took a bite of this and was instantly reminded me of the mc veggie puff that we get at McDonalds. However, the taste of Casa De La is a hundred times better. It was super cheesy and tooo yum! The blend of veggies and cheese and parmesan was epic!

Pollo Cacciatore - Rs. 370
Italian mildly spiced hunter’s chicken, pan seared chicken breast cooked in tomato sauce with red bell pepper, oregano, rosemary, basil, parsley, served with parsley rice & sautéed veggies

This dish had chicken breast with a nice tomato gravy and a portion of mildly flavored rice and veggies. The gravy was yum and went very well with the rice and veggies. The portion was large and very filling for two people.

Desserts and Mocktails:

I would like to give a special mention to the Kiwi Margarita which was basically, muddled Kiwi crush, lime juice, fresh kiwi, black salt, blend with ice. It is yet to be introduced in the menu but God, that drink sent me on a trip to heaven and back!

I CANNOT wait for this to be added to their menu! It's the best thing to have during summers.

We also had the Sweet, sour n spicy punch, which was a little too pungent for me and lemon ice tea which was soothing and nicely made.

We ended it strong with the Red Velvet Shake Rs. 450
This shake is MASSIVE! It's made of milk vanilla ice cream, chocolate ganache, whipped cream, garnished with Hershey’s kisses & M&M's topped with red velvet cake.

It was yuuuum! You cannot have the whole thing by yourself. It's super filling and too goddamn amazing!

All in all, Asanjo is a great food place with some amazing mocktails and desserts! It's run by Veena, who's super sweet to talk to and can help you with food suggestions in case you're unsure about what to order. They also have amazing offers all through the week (picture attached) which may interest you.

I'm definitely going back there for the Kiwi margarita and those lip-smacking starters :D

Had a wonderful experience at Asanjo. Its opposite to the westend mall. We went there on our anniversary yesterday for our dinner date. Booked a table before as I was not sure whether it would be crowded or not and mentioned about our anniversary. On entering the restaurant they gave us a warm welcome by wishing both of us and our table was decorated with balloons and wishes. That was lovely. Now, the food was unique. The plating was perfect. We had a salad with sauces and cheese accompanied by a mocktail which was awesome. The wonder mini bread was so cute looking and it tasted so good with the breads melting in our mouth. Then my husband had hassleback chicken with broccoli and mashed Potato and sauce. The place is small and the interior is normal but the food was outstanding. And last but not the least we got complementary desserts which included ice creams and a choco cake.

Great variety under one roof!

Located bang opposite westend mall in aundh, this little restaurant serves up some amazing food.

They have wonderful variety on their menu. Tried the Korean fried nachos which are great take on traditional nachos. The hasselback chicken is my recommendation if you have to try just one dish. The sizzlers don't disappoint either. Even if the place is full the waiting time for your order won't be long. Feel free to ask them for recommendations.

Next time you're in aundh, avoid the hassle of the mall and enjoy a quiet meal at asanjo

The moment I entered this place , the interiors were really normal , not that up to mark . The interiors are simple and completely white and the place is bit cosy. This place was on my list since a long because of its high rating on Zomato and it surely lived up to the expectations!!
I ordered chitpole chilli chicken and a mocatail name summer cyclist both were complementing each other- one with all the spices and the other refreshing drink with pineapple juice sprite and khus:)
I also ordered grilled basa fish with cash potato served with noodles. Although the dish was tasty but was a little oily when I expected only grilled 😐

A dinner date landed me here at Asanjo in Aundh. It's located bang opposite the Westend mall. This little cozy restaurant serves continental,Mexican and Italian cuisine alongwith some good sizzlers and beverages(non alcoholic). We tried a mushroom in sauce starter and harissa fries. Both the dishes were top notch in flavours and the portions are also filling. The pineapple mojito was also a refreshing drink in this fiery summer. We ordered the oriental sizzler for mains and it was simply mind blowing. The veggies tossed in the barbecue sauce were delicious and the fried rice served along with was just perfect. The service is quick and the staff is warm and welcoming. Definitely trying this one more time when I'm in aundh!

Ever had that sinking feeling when you need to go for grocery shopping on a hot Saturday afternoon ? Yeah you feel like you could have stayed at home and not done anything but how happy would that make you :). So this past Saturday when we had to shop in the middle of the day, we got really annoyed with the heat and thankfully decided to step into Asanjo. The interior is neat and colorful to say the least, and what better way to welcome your customers than to have a smile on your face. That instantly put us at ease after entering the place.The menu is exhaustive and the staff knows what the dish would consist of if you ask them for help. (this is very important to me since we do receive vague answers at too many places). So we ended up ordering the Fish in Manchurian sauce and I dare say that it is one of the best preparation of fish I have had in my entire culinary journey. (I would urge everyone visiting this place to try the fish preparation). We also had the Chicken popcorn served with a side of Mayo & herbs based dip. The presentation, taste and serving time were all excellent. We ended our meal with a simple plate of Garlic bread (which had a nice helping of chopped garlic). I would definitely visit Asanjo again soon (Planning to try the Harissa based preparations) and would recommend it to anyone having a meal in Aundh in that vicinity.

Asanjo is located in Aundh, Infront of Westend Mall. It's a very cosy little cute place.

We ordered :

1. Caeser Salad Supreme (Veg) - Romaine Lettuce in the mixture of mayo, garlic, mustard, parmesan sauce, lemon juice and covered with parmesan cheese. I didn't feel that I am eating a salad. It was totally yummy. I don't really mind eating it again.

2. Veg Cannelloni - It's a baked pasta stuffed with spinach, cottage cheese, covered with tomato, cheese sauce and mozzarella cheese. It was perfectly baked and spreaded with an apt amount of sauce.
This was the best dish amongst others.

3. Pasta Arabiata - Perfectly cooked.

4. Paneer Shaslik Sizzler - Grilled cottage cheese cubes along with tomato, capsicum, assorted vegetables and parsley rice in Shaslik sauce. Fries were served in the dish too.
Didn't like it much. Could have been better.

5. Blushing Caipiroshkha - Lime and mint in cranberry juice.

6. Dusky Damsel - Black current, grape juice , lemon and juice.

7. Sweet, sour and spicy punch .

8. Nutella Pretzel Shake - Didn't like it at all. The peanut butter around the glass was no-no.

Would definitely like to go there again. Worth the cost.

So me and my friend were just searching for some good place to have pasta in Aundh and then we came across this place with 4.5 rating. Small place where you will find people waiting, good ambience with music. We ordered Chicken Alfredo penne and Chicken Alfredo spaghetti. The consistency of alfredo sauce was perfect with finely cooked spaghetti in it and chunks of chicken in between that were juicy. Some parmesan cheese grated on it with parsley on top. Good quantity of pasta comes with 2 garlic bread which are done just fine. Big thumbs up to this place for pasta!!! And in the end reasonable place especially when you have Zomato gold!!!

Basically it's gravy of veg balls (combination of veg, spinach and paneer) prepared in tomato sauce and spices served with rice. Gravy was little spicy but tasty. Veg ball cooked well and soft. It goes well with rice. Peach flavor Ice Tea was good.

I have been to Asanjo thrice and they never fail to disappoint. They have always maintained consistenncy in taste and presentation of the food. I have always left Asanjo with a heavy tummy and a happy heart.i have had Koto Yemista, Chicken Mansaf and Aji de Pollo. I would never compare them. Each one is perfectly done and never disappointed.

MJ(Mrityunjay) has been a great host as well, helping us decide and connect our pallette to their perfection of dishes. Undoubtedly my go to place in Pune for a hearty meal.

Service is great. Staff is very polite and friendly.

Red Velvet shake was not available, which was disappointing, but dishes mentioned above left us satisfied.

Well, no lies! I went to Asanjo with a great deal of expectations, arising out of such super rating on Zomato. So, the moment I entered, I found my expectations a lil belittled. The interiors look half done-a part so multi-coloured and another part just complete white.

But fortunately, my spirits were completely taken high when my meal was served.

I substituted the rice with penne pasta in white sauce. The chicken breasts served along with it were fresh and succulently filled with boiled spinach and mushrooms. The veggies were also juicy.

The fish was tender. The sauce served along with it went well with it. Spaghetti made the dish complete—it was tossed up in seasonings and spices perfectly. I am not a big fan of potatoes, but the ones they served were too yum to hate. I just wish the dish was a lil less oily. While ordering, you may request your waiter for the same.

*lime soda—must have. A power punch of freshness and flavours. 6/5

I loved their food. Conclusion: Visit for a FANCY MEAL but in a NOT-SO-FANCY-PLACE.

P.s I had passed by the street where the outlet is located multiple number of times, but I had never noticed it. When google map stopped me right in the middle of that street, i was really surprised. Maybe, they can try making it a bit more attraction-seeking from the outside because their FOOD IS DELICIOUS.

I have visited this place thrice. My first two experiences were good. However, I didn’t like the food I ordered during my third visit. The place is cozy and the staff is polite and friendly.
I tried their famous Korean nachos made of beet root which is good. Their chicken redang is good too for starters. Although I felt that sauce was a little less.
Second time I tried their Aphrodie- a Greek chicken starter. I loved this dish. I also tried their veg sizzler with cheese which was ok but the sauce was again too less which made the dish a little dry.

The third time I ordered Cheese Buldak which wasn’t very good. It had very little cheese and too much pepper.
Then I tried their veg Ghormeh Sabzi which was absolutely horrible. It’s filled with cinnamon and the stew was bland.

For dessert we tried their sizzling brownie which wasn’t sizzling when they served it (usually their sizzling brownie fills their entire top floor with smoke but for us it didn’t ). If you want something which isn’t too sweet you should try their snow dessert which has cream and pretzels.

It's a small place, easy to spot. the seatings are just a tiny bit cramped. air conditioned. The menu is well made, easy to read. Lighting is bright but not too bright. They have a wide range of dishes from around the world. You'll get a nice variety of cuisines in one place which you generally don't get. They make the food as you order so it'll take some time, be patient. They have a wider range of options for meat eaters. The quality of the food is not compromised. It's not a pricey place. I'm sure you'll like it.

Been a long week end had come to Pune along with family to explore thing. Looking around on zomato I found this place with 4.5 rating. Looked pretty good to me reading the reviews.
We landed up to this place called as Asanjo. It's a small place opposite Westin Mall. But need to say small in size but big in Menu. There were more than 80 item spread across multiple Cusine covered which was quite impressive.
Coming to the point. Being new to this type of menu we took help from the service staff to give us suggestions for Veg meal for 5 of us. We were suggest to go with Feta chilli mushroom and Rendang Baby patato as starters. For main course we had Veg Bulgogi and Veg Sizzler.
The starters we really good and the main course complement extremely well with their mocktails dusky damsel and sweet sour and spicy. The quantity was extremely good. Which was enough for 5 of us. The prices were well in reach.

The only draw back this place has is parking for which I would reduce 1 rating.

We been to Asanjo looking at the ratings they have on Zomato and must say they didn't disappoint us. I been vegetarian they suggested Greek Veg Souvlaki and Veg Bulgogi. Both the dishes tasted great and were decent in portion size for two of us. Must say their service guys have good knowledge of their products and one should take their recommendations if you are a first timer here. Will try some more dishes soon.

Normal ambience... a bit conjusted We had to eat vegetarian today but didn’t want to have normal sabji roti so thought to eat something different and landed up in Asanjo just across Westend Mall .. we ordered 3 dishes veg cannelloni, pizza Di vegeteriano and oriental sizzler.. Seen for the first time that they serve the sizzler sauce separately which is quite nice to have as per our taste and requirement.. just that the food service was delayed a bit but it definitely covered up with the taste .. overall a nice place to visit...

We had feta chilli mushroom, aprodite, bandeja paisa, dusky damsel and bleed blue out of which my fav feta chilli and dusky damsel. staff has good knowledge about the cuisiene which helped us to understand food better and make our choice. The food is decent. Had ordered Marak Temani soup, Sriracha Chicken Tikka, Cau Cau de Mariscos and Ethiopian spice tea. The chicken was well done and tasted good- just the appropriate amount of spice and flavor. I really liked the soup would recommend it. It's a little spicy but clear soup and tasted really good. The Cau Cau dish with the fish and the tea were both alright. Ambience isn't great but the food quality and effort makes up for it. Decently priced as well.

Sizzler is the showstopper here as it had 3 types of chicken with lots of veggies ,rice with sunny side up with extremely delicious sauce. Jujeh kebab didn't disappoint me for sure. And the shake was made to perfection. So a thumbs up to Asanjo.

What a satisfying lunch...Must say this place is one of the best places in pune.
Ambience is not very welcoming but their staff is.
Stewards there be so helping, either it is with the details of the menu or serving food or prompt service, they are good.

Moctails
Bleed blue and pink lady - was on their special menu and was just perfect. Presentation and taste was bang on but quantity was quite less , was craving for more😜
Dusky damsel - combination of black current , grape , lime and mint. All the ingredients complemented each other perfectly and was so refreshing. Liked it!!
Blushing caipiroska - cranberry juice with mint and lime tastes soo yummy. Quantity was also good.
Food
Mexican nachos - My friend being a great fan of it nachos is what we order almost everytime and must say these nachos were too good. Loved it.
Caesar salad supreme veg - this dish was just woww !! Romaine lettuce , croutons , dressed in Mayo , garlic and cheese was just amazing.
Veg cannelloni - baked pasta stuffed with spinach and cheese covered with creamy cheese and tomato sauce was the best dish for the day.
Panner shaslik sizzler - veggies , fries , rice , panner cubes and fries served with shaslik sauce was again winner of our hearts.
Neapolitian pasta - mix sauce pasta. You just can't stop yourself, will crave for more and more.
Desserts
We saw red velvet shake on the menu and it's description was soo tempting that we couldn't stop ourselves but unfortunately it was not available that day. So we ordered chocochip cookies shake - As we were totally impressed with the food we had high expectations from this too. But Pretzel sticks and peanut butter was a big let down. Need to improve on desserts rest this place is perfect.

Go for oriental sizzlers... Its awsm. We also tried yellow cheese pasta which was ok ok. Service is very good, waiter is also helpful to suggest you the ryt food.
Only thing that i didn't like is, apart from 5% GST they are charging 6% service charge also. So all together you will need to pay 11% tax.

A hole in the wall space, in the upcoming Aundh area. If your around and looking eat a great meal, this place will settle you down.
It is definitely not what you would expect from the outside, especially considering the rating they have.
That being said, the ambience is cozy and not a let down in any way.

Coming to the food, tried 3 things off the menu.

Garides Saganaki - On their recommendation and was very impressed. The flavours were great, with a lovely blend of spices. A must try if Prawns give you happiness.

Koto Yemista - Without a doubt, the dish to order. The idea of stuffed chicken always excites me and this dish will make you happy. It essentially is Spinach stuffed chicken. Along with all this, the mushroom and feta sauce just hits the spot.

Omani Coconut Fish - We wanted to try their sizzlers and since fish was the general mood, we gave this a shot. The sauce has to be the best part about this meal. Nothing extraordinary about this fish dish, but nothing upsetting either. In their defence, they did recommend the Bandeja Paisa, their speciality in sizzlers.

Have to give a special mention for the tremendous service. Extremely prompt and helpful. Really added to the whole experience.

Drawback - Lack of parking for cars. My suggestion would be to park in one of the malls opposite or else, you'll be left looking for a spot for a while.

All in all, a great experience. Definitely intend to go try out their other dishes. They seem to have a great variety in their menu, no matter what the mood.

It was a delight to have eaten at Asanjo. The food was absolutely yummy. This restaurant offers 1+1 on food as well and the service is perfect!

We ordered the Koto Yetista which is a yummy creamy Greek dish. The Chicken Maqluba was yummy as well, sort of like biryani yet different in taste. The portions were good and we were so full we had to takeaway some of our food! Will definitely go back to this place to try out more dishes. There’s a lot this place has to offer!

Heard raving reviews about the place so thought of giving it a try! Small place but comfortable nonetheless. Staff is very helpful and recommends good dishes.

Korean chicken nachos are so awesome! Chicken was well cooked and cheese and sauces were perfect. The nacho chips were beetroot nachos and tasted amazing. Geridas saganaki was a prawns starter that was another awesome dish! Loved the sauce and prawns cooked to perfection. Cheese buldak was a chicken starter that didn't disappoint. It was a good blend of sauces. Papas Alla Saif was decent. I liked the cheesy potato flavor. Although the bell peppers and slight spiciness didn't work well with the dish.

For main course we ordered the Pollo cacciatore and honestly that combination somehow didn't work for us. The chicken was cooked well and the veggies and rice were delicious but the tanginess and spiciness in the sauce seemed mismatched. Personally I wouldn't order this again.

We were quite full after the main course so didn't try their shakes or desserts. Overall a good place to lunch and dine at. Rates are also reasonable.

Starting from food, i must say they have huge variety to choose from. We ordered jujeh kababs and it was so perfectly cooked.Amongst drinks we had dusky damsel which was superb.Sizzlers were also good. Any 1 sizzler can serve two people so u can order accordingly.

A best place to have continental food. We tried Maggie Magic Sizzler, Fire cottage cheese, Dusky Damsel, Cucumber Margarita, Galla Pinto. Both the mocktails where good and had the taste as we needed. Dusky Damsel is bit sweet as it is made of grapes while cucumber margarita goes with the name - has full of cucumber and bit spicy tatse. Fire cottage cheese - paneer was pretty good and the sauce in which was made was super good. While coming to maggie magic sizzler, this was one of best sizzler i had. It has all time favorite maggie as main component manchurian balls, some grilled veggies like baby corn, broccoli, corn, some fries and served with manchurian gravy. The manchurian gravy was yumm..
Galla Pinto - A dish which can capture your eyes in moments and is seriously lipsmacking. The presentation is just awesome. The Paneer was grilled and served with some sauce which was yummy. The rice was served in a heart shaped.
Coming to their service it was decent and quite fast. The starter and mocktails were served to us within 5-10 mins.
The ambience is quite colourful with two type of sitting.

Dusky damsel - Its a combination of black current crush, grape juice, lemon juice, black salt and white pepper. This one tastes superb.

Cucumber Margarita - A very refreshing mocktail made from cucumber. The added pepper enhances its taste also served beautifully.

Ruby Red - Beautiful red mocktail appears pleasing to eyes and tastes good. This is a new addition to their menu.

Sweet sour n spicy punch - If you like it spicy and sweet in one sip, this is the best. Perfectly balanced sweetness and spicyness.

Papas ala saif - It is a peruvian appetizer basically made of boiled potatoes in creamy sauce. Its also been served with egg. The sauce is medium spicy and too creamy.

Feta chilli mushroom - Mushroom in feta chili cream sauce is delicious. You can go on eating this if you love mushrooms.

Greek veg souvalki - Paneer lovers this one is the perfect starter for us. Cottage cheese and mushrooms marinated with yogurt, cheese herbs garlic and is served with spicy yogurt.

Paneer shashlik sizzler - I love sizzlers and when its paneer its like cherry on a cake for me. This sizzler has cottage cheese cubes, veggies, fries and rice served with shashlik sauce. The sauce is very tasty, liked it.

Nutella pretzel shake - Thick shake with chocolate, nutella garnished with chocolate ganache was perfectly sweet yes not too much not too less just perfect

Good place with authentic dishes, worth visiting again, for such tasty dishes.
