MasaKha, Narhe!
Masakha is located in the main chowk of Narhe and is easily visible from the main road. Masakha restaurant serves North India, Chinese and Continental Cuisines. It has a simple yet elegant ambience and has lots of Mango and Coconut tree plantations in the premises. The seating is comfortable. The restaurant has specialtiy in sea food preparations and can be easily guessed from the name of the restaurant itself. I was invited over here for the food tasting session.
We were welcomed with a cool and refresing litchi based drink (non alcoholic).
Mocktails:
We tried array of refresing and impressive mocktails like Kiwi Apple Punch, Mango Blast, Strawberry Martini, Kiwi Martini, Blue Frog, Mango Blast
Strawberry martini, Kiwi Martini, and Mango blast were my personal favourites.
Soups:
Mix Sea Food: The soup had small pieces of meat of various seafood and was superb in taste. It had finely chopped garlic and green chillies, hint of black pepper; it was thick in consistency and had a nice and spicy after taste. #Highlyrecommended
Lemon Corainder: This was again a nice option for vegetarian people. Finely chopped veggies along with refresing combination of Lemon and coriander did impress me a lot. A soup which will definitely rejuvenate you instantly. #Highlyrecommended
Starters:
Murg Dhania Boat: The dish had perfectly cooked boneless chicken pieces marinated in assorted spices along with yogurt and coriander. It was medium spicy in taste and did hit the right note. The dish was granished with fried coriander and was truly delicious. #Highlyrecommended
Chicken Ghee Roast: A mangalorean delicacy which was prepared spot on. The chicken was was well marinated with spicy and slightly tangy ground masala and it had a dintinctive taste. #Highlyrecommended
Gosht Boti Kebab: I skipped this mutton dish but those who had were truly delighted to have it.
Surmai Tawa Fry: Two big sized surmai pieces were shallow fired along with ground spices coating and was medium spicy in taste. The fish was nicely cooked and was good in taste, the Cabbage and grated coconut based salad which was served along with it was also good in taste. #Recommended
Prawns Malvani Masala: Jumbo sized prawns were prepared in kokum based malvani masala and were cooked to perfection. It was not at all rubbery and was soft. The masala was bit spicy in taste and was perfect for my palate. #Highlyrecommended.
Crab Butter Garlic: Finely minced crab meat along with butter and garlic was creamy and well done. The sauce was thick and superb in taste. #Highlyrecommended.
Bangda Shallow Fry: Again a good option in sea food. The Bangda ( Mackeral) was shallow fried with medium spicy ground spices coating and was superb in taste. #Recommended.
Paneer Rojali: I had never heard about a rojali kebab in panner/veg and I was excited to see this dish. Trust me it was superbly done. Finely chopped paneer bhurji was stuffed into a paneer coating with beetroot based medium spicy marination, was topped with some grated cheese and was one of the best veg kebabs which I have had. #Highlyrecommended
Mains:
Goan Prawns Curry: Mind Blowing. It had jumbo sized prawns done in goan spices with lots of coconut; it was spicy and slightly sour. The masala was blended to perfection and was delight to my taste buds. #Highlyrecommended.
Chicken Maratha: The gravy was slightly thin in consistency and was done in ground spices with tender and juicy chicken pieces. It was medium spicy in taste and was full of flavours. #Recommended.
Veg Maratha: I was really amazed with all the non veg dishes that I had and this veg dish was a surpise to me. Mix veggies done in thick and spicy gravy was too good. Do try this and I am sure you will definitely like it. It is a must have for vegetarians. #Recommended.
Neer Dosa: The best combination to go along with sea food gravy and chicken Maratha. It was served hot and was done to perfection.
Jeera Rice: Well cooked long grain basmati rice went well with the prawn’s goan curry.
Desserts:
Gajar Ka Halwa & Sizzling Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream: I must say one of the best gajar ka Halwa which I have had. The In House prepared gajar ka halwa was low on sweetness level and was topped with dry fruits. It was served hot. A must have at Masakha. The sizziling browie which was also done nicely was over shadowed because of the Gajar ka halwa.
Overall: Service was prompt and restaurant was hygienic. None of the sea food dishes had the fishy smell which is a really challenge for all the restaurants serving sea food and I must say Masakha scores full marks in it. The rates are pretty reasonable. Quantity of all the dishes is also good. We tried different dishes in our session and I must say all were brilliantly done right from the starters till desserts. A must visit place for Veg as well as non veg lovers.
नाम मेरे क्या रखा है?
Masakha a newly opened restaurant near Navale bridge which is not known the area for good restaurants and it's highly crowded because of the traffic. It's been 5-6 months for their restaurant to be opened.
As you go by the road whenever you see this name on your right side you don't get the idea what's inside stored for you. Once you enter in the premises of this restaurant you'll be introduced to the whole new world. The lavish beautiful huge area maintained well by the staff and designed to the perfection of every type of customer. The restaurant perfect solution for your all type of needs as a foodie. They have a family section, private section, open-air seating and live bar.
The one and the only reason to put the title like this is that Masakha offers a variety of dishes in their menu. Even if it's known for seafood and seafood speciality restaurant, their vegetarian preparations, Chinese preparations and even desserts are absolutely fantastic. It's a rare case where you'll find all things and that also of good quality at one place.

3. Mangalorean Curry
4. Prawns Biryani
🍮 Desserts
1. Shahi Tukda ( Highly Recommended)
2. Gajar Halwa ( Highly Recommended)
So let's get started . .
🍜 Soup
Fish Manchow Soup - Indian chicken manchow soup. Medium thick consistency and it was good. It was tangy and hot spicy as a manchow soup suppose to be. We had a good amount of fish meat in soup and they've given us fried noodles to go with the soup. The soup was good and had a nice hint of ginger. Loved it.
🌯 Appetizer
Paneer Rozali Kebab - As I said earlier, we never expected or do expect to get a good vegetarian food at any seafood special or non-vegetarian place that's why I was super surprised after having a bite into this heavenly delicious appetizer. When kebab came on our table I was sceptical about it as the looks it was too red and I thought they've used colours in it ( It looked dark red as I was having dinner here and the light reflected on the dish). As soon as I took bite my all doubt was gone in seconds and I was happy that captain recommended this dish to us. It was 3 layer kebab where on the top it had beetroot marination coating which was bit tangy and after that, there was a thick layer of soft juicy paneer which was then stuffed with paneer bhurji, grated cheese and mawa. The entire kebab was a treat to us and the different flavours of each layer just made our night. I'll definitely recommend this to try here as the dish really blew our mind.
Prawns Malwani Tikka - Prawns malwani tikka is one of their signature dish which was good. Nicely cooked juicy prawns tossed into onion based masala which tasted perfect. The prawns were bigger than the normal ones so it was plus point.
Butter Garlic Crab - The show stopper of our Meal. One of the best dish to have at Masakha. I had a similar dish on Sunday with somewhat same taste and perfection having prawns in it and luckily I got to taste it again here. The creamy sauce which was the combination of butter and garlic was totally fantastic. The two elements were blended perfectly that the flavour was really highlighting the entire dish. The good amount of sweet crab meat was tossed in this creamy sauce and the combination was out of the world. It will be my definite recommendation if you're dining here.
Prawns Rawa Fry - Huge tiger prawns cooked perfectly till it gets sweet juicy softness and then coated in crispy rawa coating. It tasted fantastic as the strong crispy outer layer and then soft juicy prawns flavor just melted in our mouth.
🍛 Mains
Murgh Kala Masala - I've always asked to get this preparation which includes kala masala which is my favourite. We don't get kala masala at home so it's a must order for me whenever I get chance. Basically, kala masala is onion based gravy with lots of spices which gives the dish a good spicy tangy flavour. The gravy was medium thick and the chicken chunks were juicy and tender. This time the masala had a strong pepper flavour but still, the combination tasted brilliant with Neer Dosa. Yes, I tried this dish with neer dosa.
Betki Fish in Goan Curry - All time favourite coconut based Goan curry with Betki Fish. It was my first time that I had this fish. The curry was superb and the thickness was perfect. The perfect blend of masala and coconut gave it a good spicy sour taste which went well with neer dosa. Neer dosa is a perfect thing to have with Goan curry.
Prawns Biryani - I didn't get chance to taste this but as my friend told me it was superb and the taste was somewhat near to the one we make at home. Big thumbs up for this.
🍮 Desserts -
Gajar Ka Halwa - I'm not a fan of desserts but the desserts which we had here was completely on the top. One of the best halwa I've tasted. It was made in-house the sweetness maintained was on the perfect level. I really enjoyed eating this as the sweetness was perfect as per my taste buds. It was lovely.
Shahi Tukda - What a dessert !! Gem of a dessert. I was truly satisfied with having this dessert. It was a real royal treat to our taste buds. The coating of the toasted bread with sugar syrup was perfect with didn't overpower the rabdi and the bread was super crispy so it tasted good with the rabdi combination. Mostly we get soaked bread in rabdi which is the normal dish but somehow this version appealed me more as the super crispiness following by thick sweet rabdi enjoyed more by me and others.
Overall verdict - I was highly satisfied with my visit and enjoyed each and every item which was served to us. We also had some drinks on our table but I think each and every other thing overpowered the drinks section. The hospitality of the restaurant staff and the humble nature of owner is the Highlight. It will be my definite recommendation to the people who live nearby
MASAKHA is a must visit.
I tried recently and relished the best sea food in town.
Additional to the taste, loved the way food was served keeping in mind the ease to consume it. The specific instructions I had given, especially for non spicy food was followed to my expectations, which I rarely found in other hotels. Good quality flavorsome food.

Chala mag ata ja tumhi Masakha!
Sometimes it is just wonderful how we end up getting some of the best experiences in the least expected places. And that is exactly what happened when I visited this Restaurant named “MASAKHA”.
The name MASAKHA smartly and literally translates to “Eat Fish” in Marathi and believe me that is exactly what you should be doing here. If you do enjoy eating Sea Food and are not really content with most Restaurant serving it in the city, my advice is give this place a try I am sure you would not be disappointed.
With its open air seating area it adds a perfect atmosphere for both Lunch and Dinner options and to top it up the place has its own Bar and for the non-alcoholics out there the Mocktails are obviously worth your money.
What I tried here and how I found it ?
Well, yes lets talk about that now :
Mocktails :
Guava Merry : Super Refreshing with a tangy punch, not too sweet, not too salty. Just about the way I like it.
Virgin Mojito : This is one of my all-time favourites and if you not to huge on experimenting, I would recommend you go for this classic.
Berry Sweetheart/ Fruit Punch : Both these fruit based drinks are sweet and apt to go with almost all the dishes you will try here.
Appetizers:
Schezwan Prawns / Chicken 65 : If you are the type that enjoys spicy dishes above all and love really hot flavour. Then these are the starters for you. The burst of flavour here will be all your money.
Baby Surmai Tandoor / Veg Malaysian / Paneer Kebabs : For those who need their spicy just right and enjoy the delight of savouring each bite, try these appetizers. The perfect blend of spices here along with good enough quantity will be just right to start your meal with.
Murg Cotton Kebab / Prawns Salt and Pepper : Some other recommendations for you to try.
Main Course :
Sea Food : Go ahead and take your pick from the awesome Seafood curries on the Menu. I personally loved the Malwani Prawns Curry.
Paneer Angara Masala/ Murg Rara : Both are red curries, Medium spiced and a good choice to go for, if you would like to try anything other than Sea food options.
And last but not the least : Desserts.
Gajar ka Halwa / Gulab Jamun :
Gajar ka Halwa is to die for. If you to have a sweet tooth just like I do then you cannot leave this place without trying this amazing Halwa..Highly recommended.
And Gulab Jamun is too is worth trying .
Awesome seafood restaurant. Highly recommended to every seafood lover.
Newly introduced Fish Thali is very attractive.

A must visit sea food restaurant..Very nice service along with food.i went with my family....and liked the ambience for kids also
Masakha is a seafood restarant and bar. They deserve to be called one of the best seafood restaurants in the city. Fresh catch so nicely curated and cooked to fetch the best results on the plate. I loved dining at Masakha and i will soon return for more.
Awesome ambience. Dim lighting and live music makes ur place a right choice. Food is yummy. Definitely not for vegetarians. Can sit for a longer time considering ambience.
It was really good resrurant to visit in near by location... The taste is so yummy... Though price is bit high but it deserves... The ambience of resturant is really good... Greenary and cool climate....
Thank you
Masakha- as the name suggests , specialises in seafood. On my last visit to pune , we decided to try out this place as it was highly recommended by friends.
FOOD : 5/5
Loved the variety of seafood at this place. But what really took me by surprise was the quality and taste of non seafood items as well. My daughter is not a big fan of seafood so I reluctantly had to order some chicken dishes as well. We ordered the butter chicken and chicken crispy and both items were one of the finest I have had. Tender chicken with perfect spice and taste and I just couldn’t have enough of it. We also ordered prawns pulao and prawns masala both of them were excellent. Decent portion size as well.Over all I would give their food a big thumbs up!
Ambience : 3/5
This place has been done up really well with open air seating. Being the monsoons , it was very pleasant and had a fresh feeling to it. The only downer was the fact that the washrooms were not clean . The management needs to look into as it speaks highly of the overall hygiene levels being maintained at any place.
I would highly recommend to try out Masakha. We certainly had a great time !
I have been to this place on couple of occasions and has always been a good experience dining here.
They specialise in serving the sea food as the name suggests. Apart from the sea food there is a lot to offer in their menu including veg as well. So you can definitely enjoy an evening feasting on some delicious food and live music playing at the background. The only thing that they need to really work on is the service, as it was too slow.
There was some issue going on with Zomato gold on the day I visited this place, as many restaurants were not offering that service. However Masakha management gave me a discount on food bill as they could not consider gold option. So overall a wonderful experience and looking forward to visit again.
I must say wow food.......... Fish was fresh as well the way they cooked them was really authentic........... Wow experience...... Enjoyed alot, 😍
Since u stay around a regular visitor to this place at Bybass highway towards katraj. Offers good variety of food both in veg and Non Veg. Family place also. Known for good chicken and fish dishes.. Speciality sea food place. Try out their sea food soups and starters.
Food was good taste wise and quality wise, but ambience is ok ok types and old hindi songs are been sung by a local artist which I did not like the most. Also, service is fine.
I have been there 3 times and test of food given by mashakha was really really really delicious...!!! 😋😋😋... I just fallen down in love mhasakha food❤️... Really masakha deserve a better sea food restaurant in pune.... 😀🍲🍴😍....
This place is right on highway and conveniently accessible . Ambience is nature themed and spreads to a plenty of tables.
They specialise in there seafood and have an extensive menu for the same.
We had multiple dishes to try out .
Starters 🔺🔺🔺🔺🔺
GHEE ROAST CHICKEN 3/5
Nicely roasted with 4 pieces in one plate but less of masala as it is supposed to be
CHEESE BALL 4/5
Fresh, hot and good in consistency but served with wrong sauce
PRAWNS TAWA 3/5
The prawns were fresh , nicely roasted on tawa but the masala was burnt out which was giving it a burnt flavour , a strong one .
POMFRET TANDOORI TIKKA 5/5
This was really good , scullent , cooked to perfection and the quality of fish too was top notch.
BOMBIL FRIED RAWA 4/5
Again a perfect shot , crispy on the outside , juicy fish in the inside served with some salad , a perfect starter .
VEG SAIWOO 2/5
This was a disaster , saiwoo is a Chinese dish and hard to perfect it. The coating of maida on the veggies was thicker than the size of veggies itself which is really not acceptable for a foos person.
PRAWNS SLAT N PEPPER 4/5
Fresh prawns , buttery and crispy . Loved it
PANEER GHEE ROAST 4/5
Again like chicken ghee roast , it was roasted nice but less of the masala and went dry .
Main course 🔺🔺🔺🔺
MASAKHA SPECIAL 5/5
This was indeed a special, a must order even if you are a non vegetarian , this was really good
SABZI KOFTA CURRY 4/5
Good for vegetarians, nice gravy with wholesome spices and soft koftas.
Desserts 🔺🔺🔺🔺
GAJAR HALWA 5/5
Damn this was some halwa, it tasted too good , melted in mouth and the weather was just perfect for it
Do check out my feed on Instagram @whatscookinginindia for the awesome feed.
Happy hogging
This was the first special seafood restro I ever went to with my friend. The ambience was great, it was raining and it was cold and so cozy. We got hell loads of food and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We had surmai fish and pomfret fish. Both were amazing and crispy. One was tikka and other was tandoori, both were out of the world. Next we got veg manchurian which was tasty and delish. The balls were perfectly round and amazing. We also got schezwan prawns 🍤 they were crispy and spicy. Perfect to the taste. In main course we got prawns Biryani. It was good and fine course. Finally in desserts we had sizzling brownie which was totally sizzling and rocking. We also had gajar ka halwa, it was to the point sweet and extremely tasty. I loved the whole experience. Our day was totally made. Highly recommended.
Masakha is the perfect place to go to if you are looking for some delicious sea food! I had visited this place for lunch a few days back and had a wonderful experience.
The ambience is good and has a lot of greenery in its surroundings. Its like dining among nature! seating is spacious and the staff is very courteous. They have a lot of options to choose from and their service is great!
Coming to the Food, here is what I had here-
-Chicken Lollipops- These were AMAZING! They were served along with a spicy schezwan sauce which went so well with the delicious lollipops. A perfect starter!
-Butter Garlic Prawns- A good option if you are looking for something that isn’t too spicy. It tasted really good.
-Tandoori Pomfret- This was The BEST dish that I had out of all. The fish was cooked so perfectly, it melted in the mouth. I loved this dish to the fullest. It tasted great! Highly recommended.
-Tandoori Surmai and Murg Rosali Kebab- These dishes tasted great! They were well cooked and melted in the mouth. Loved it!
-Prawns Dum Biryani- Another favourite out of the menu. This was the BEST prawns biryani I have had so far. If you are a prawn and a biryani lover, do have this dish and you are definitely going to fall in love with it! Served along with fresh raita. Highly recommended.
-Sizzling Brownie with Ice-cream – A meal is never complete without a perfect dessert. Had sizzling brownie here and it was delicious! The sweetness was well balanced.
My verdict-
TASTE- 5/5
AMBIENCE- 4/5
VALUE FOR MONEY- 4.5/5
SERVICE- 5/5
This place us really amazing. The food is so fresh and yummy. The entire decor is just sightful. The service is so nice that a person will never get disappointment from this restro. Everything is just amazing and up to the mark.
Went to this place on my sister’s recommendation and I can say I wasn’t disappointed at all..Great ambience , Great food , and fast service ,everything was on point
We ordered
Manchow soup
Surmai fry
Prawns malvani curry
Neer dosa
All dishes were excellent
You can surely try this restaurant if you are looking for a new seafood spot!
Ordered food for the first time from Masakha. The ratings gave me an assurance that the food would be good but then experiencing it first hand is a different story. I am a huge fan of crab soup. And I keep looking for a good hearty crab soup to every Chinese restaurant I visit. Hence when I saw the ratings were pretty good for this restaurant I decided to try out their crab soup. The delivery was pretty on time by the zomato valet. Goof to see that zomato has given proper raingears to their employees so that they don't have problem delivering in rainy season. Now coming to the food. The soup smelled very good when I opened the pack. Tastewise it is absolutely the way it should be. Nice, hot and hearty. The portion is good for two people. Ample crab meat in the soup. And they gave a pouch of green chilli sauce so that u can heat up the soup further if you wanted. Overall 5 stars for the amount and taste. I am definitely gonna order more from here.
A great place to visit of you're a sea food lover. it's located right on the highway with huge spaces inside. there's garden seating, or under the roof or huts for families. going on an hot afternoon can be sweaty there as the roof gets too hot to sit under it. but the food pretty much makes up for the heat.
What we had:
1. Virgin Mojito: a refreshment on that hot summer afternoon was important to get me relaxed before going heavy on the food menu.
2. Salt & Pepper Prawns: the prawns were fresh and the salt n pepper balance was perfect along with some garlic. this dish is highly recommended here.
3. Pomfret Tandoori: it was grilled to perfection on the outside with leaving it juicy from the inside. the presentation was beautiful with this one.
4. Surmai Malwani Fry: I do like my surmai to be fried in one piece. this one was cut into small pieces topped with alot of thick malwani masala. I felt this could have been a little better.
5. Chicken Kaala Masala: this was suggested to us by the manager. it is a unique dish with exciting spices. the portion was very good for 2-3 people to have with rotis and rice.
6. Gulab Jamun with Ice cream & Fried ice cream: I wouldn't recommend this place for its desserts. they need alot of work on it. the gulab jamuns were good but overall I wasn't satisfied with the desserts.
The food here is exceptional. specially the prawns and Pomfret. they need to have air coolers at every corner to make it a more comfortable experience. the service very helpful and prompt.
It's nice place for sea food .I had ordered surmai fry. It was very nicely fried and crispy. And prwans biryani was good in test. Prawns are numbers in quantity. Overall ambience is nice.
Masakha - Seafood Resto and Bar
Very sure many of us have visited this spot, no doubt they need any introduction, as of late I visited Masakha - Seafood Resto and Bar
On Ambience: The 3 sided open eatery having Garden landscape & fountains. They guarantee they have the ability to provide food for 500+ patrons at any given time . Decent parking, as it is highway touch.
On our entrance, we were accompanied to the table and offered us an a welcome drink, which I expected they been serving to every one of their customers.
Mocktail ::>
Being a tea totaler, requested
Guava Merry: The zesty squeeze of ginger and pepper and the tangy tones of lemon juice make this guava drink a super hit! Spicy Guava Drink was well balanced.

Prawns Salt n Pepper: Fresh and decent sized Prawns cooked along with Caesar cut exotic veggies was full-flavored, A classic sea food starter.
Pomfret Tandoori Chatpata: The medium size Pomfret was set up with a mélange of spices grilled to perfection, the starter was delightful amalgamation of taste and aroma.
Chicken dark rum chilly dry : This starter is Chef's recommendation and isn't recorded in their menu, this indo Chinese starter is cooked utilizing RUM as a base fixing, Indian vegetables and Chinese flavours.
Tasted uicy chicken with a spicy, deep and slightly sweet flavor. Rum and spices Aroma was like "jib lap lappa Rahi the".. #Musttry
Crab Tandoori: A fair size crab prepared in tandoori style we preferred With Bone. Very much marinated with the in-house Spices (Coastal flavours) Cooked/tandoor to flawlessness. At first, I find hard to separate the flesh from bones (which was obvious) later requested for Crab cutter tool which made my life easy... this gentle spice starter was a Show stealer.
Main Course ::>
We were certain that we needed to have 2 distinct curries, One was Malwani another was somewhat suggested in the house...
Murgh Rogan Josh: The Kashmiri style gravy enhanced with garlic, ginger and aromatic spices and tender chicken pieces that will truly excite your palate.
Surmai Malwani Curry: "Malvan Cha Kalvan" the rich gravy with medium sizes Surmai pieces was a true taste of seafood at its finest.
Kori Roti: I attempted this first time, Kori Roti is a customary delicacy from the Mangalorean cooking.
This roti is crispy thin rice wafers can go along with any curry You simply need to Dip the pieces in the gravy and once they are soaked, it's ready to eat.. #MUSTTRY on the off chance that you have not.
Prawns Biryani: It was conventional in taste, and won't be a major ordeal if you gave a miss.
Shahi Tukda: Not generally a Dessert person, For me it was the perfect finish to a meal
Overall my Food testing experience was Very Good, Loved & Appreciate Team Masakha hospitality.
Had been here for lunch. The place is quite big. The indoor seatings are spacious and the outdoor seatings are just lovely, with so much greenery around one can sit there with ease in such heat too. So as the names suggest Masakha this restaurant specializes in seafood. They bring you the raw fishes available to choose from. They have different options for cooking them. The quantity is quite enough and the food quality is good.

Visited Masakha for a lunch. Amazed by the trees around the restaurant. This place is very cool as it is surrounded by lot of trees. They have seating for around 500 people. Very big seating capacity, indeed. They have open seating as well. They have kept some tables under the tree.
We tried some of the mocktails and some fish dishes along with chicken and biryani.
- Virgin Mojito: One of the best virgin mojito I tried. Lot of mint leaves were there so that I could get strong mint flavour which was good.
- Guava Merry: This was another mocktail we tried. It was refreshing. It was tangy, had a strong flavour of guava.
- Prawns Salt and Pepper: We ordered these prawns in starter. It was loaded with veggies like red and yellow bell pepper, green chillies and spring onion. Prawns were crispy and fresh.
- Pomfret Tandoori Chatpata: This is another starter we tried. Pomfret was fresh and very tasty. Highly recommended.
- Chicken Dark Rum Chilli Dry: This is the special starter we tried, which is not on their regular menu. We asked captain for this special starter. It was marinated in rum. Chicken was fresh and juicy. It had a strong flavour of rum and was bit spicy.
- Crab Tandoori: One of the best crab dish in town. Masala used for making this dish is awesome. It was finger licking good. They provide crab cutter as well, so that we can cut and eat it with ease.
- Surmai Malwani Curry: We tried this for a main course. The gravy we ordered was malwani. It was yellow curry. Taste was awesome.
- Murg Rogan Josh: Red curry with chicken. This was perfectly crafted. Chicken was fresh and tender.
- Prawns Biryani: The biryani loaded with fresh prawns. Rice was well cooked. It was tasty.
- Neer Dosa: This was soft, goes well with any curry.
- Kori Roti: This is Manglorian crushed roti. It was nice.
- Shahi Tukda: Ended our meal with this dessert. Custard used has a strong flavour.
Overall, this is one of best seafood restaurant in Pune where you can get good chicken as well.
Must try for a sea food and non veg lover. Highly recommended.
A decent place for a quite meal lose to the highway. Frequently visited by seafood loyalists, We were invited for a lunch here. For starters, we tried their Paneer Sholay Tikka, it was bit on the spicier side and was okay. The quantity was enough for two and this with fresh lime soda made us quite full.
For main course, we directly jumped to Biryani. We ordered their Dum Veg Biriyani, which we found very good. It was more than enough for two after the starters we had.
They also serve a variety of mocktails although we settled for the plain sweet lime soda because of the unrelenting heat.
Overall a decent experience, although we wish the service was a bit faster, but then, we can’t complain with the variety of dishes they had to offer.
A good place for sea food lovers. Ambience is beautiful, the outdoor seating is pretty much cozy, the indoors are too spacious.
Food had an ample quantity and the taste was good.
Here's all what I ordered:
1. Veg Manchurian
2. Paneer Ghee Roast
3. Promfret Rava
4. Prawns Malvani Tawa

6. Baby Surmai Tawa
7. Paneer Rajoli Kabab
8. Veg Spring Roll
9. Chicken Fried Rice
10. Sizzling Brownie
11. Fruit salad

This place is certainly drool worthy. 😍😍 Masakha is that seafood restaurant where you can trust for truly delicious aquatic food. That's why this is must have place to satisfy your seafood cravings.
Starting for starters, we ordered three different types of fish
1) Tandoori Pomfret
Freshly king size Pomfret is spicy and tandoori flavoured with mouthwatering and really tasty.
2) Shallow Fried Surmai
This one is my personal favorite because it tastes like Malwani (Kokan) with coconut flavor.
3) Salt n Pepper Prawns
I tried prawns from various restaurant but I can challenge, this is on another level. Highly recommended from my side.
Now move on to the Main course. From todays special menu, we tasted Kala Masala Chicken with Rutter Roti. Literally don't have words to describe this one. Perfectly cooked chicken with Black Pepper and other secret ingredients surly make you feel to visit this place again and again.

Masakha, the name itself includes masa serves some really amazing and unique sea food delicacies. Very dish here is delish and one can thoroughly relish it in lively and serene at the same time comfortable ambience. This restaurant is very spacious. Staff is courteous, diligent and skilled. Service was on point. Also they serve you welcome drink immediately after you take your sit which helps to quench your thirst. Also if you want to you can even ask to show their fish display.
What we tried here-
Mocktails-
1. Mango Punch- Blend of mango juice and vanilla ice cream. Had thick consistency. You take one sip and its irrestitable.
2. Guava Merry- Meld of guava juice, tobacco sauce, oyster sauce and soda. Indeed a refreshing drink.
Appetizers-
1. Broccoli Salt & Pepper- Broccoli florets were battered in maida and corn flour (as per the color) was fried and tossed in pepper and salt along with veggies. The moment you have one bite it will definitely please your palate.
#highlyrecommended
2. Prawns Salt & Pepper- Prawns battered and fried and tossed in pepper and salt along with veggie tastes really luscious. Prawns were very juicy and succulent. Tastebuds will definitely dance in glee after having this. #highlyrecommended
3. Pomfret Tandoori Chatpata- Well marinated pomfret and thick masala spread over it and was rightly charred. Had smoky flavour in every bite. Served along with green chutney and salad.
#highlyrecommended
Main Course-
1. Murg Biryani- Biryani served in earthen pot was aromatic and flavourful. Rice was well cooked. But chicken pieces weren't well cooked. Served along with raita.
Dessert-
1. Sizzling Brownie- Indeed this a standard dessert option to have at every ordinary place. Brownie was warm, gooey and fudgy placed on the pineapple slice, topped with scoop of vanilla ice cream and cherry to please your eyes and thick chocolate syrup added on top of it. Sweetness was well balanced
One must definitely try out this place to try healthy yet tasty seafood delicacies. Overall had great time here.
The ambience is basic, Woody and lovely.
It is very spacious and perfect for family lunch or dinner.
The service is quick.
We liked crab tandoori, crab maratha, dark rum chilly fish.

I had visited this place before couple of days. It was noon time. But I’ll suggest to visit this place in the eve to get better ambience vibes. This place is spacious. They have the bar section separate. Also it is easy to locate. Let’s talk about food. I had limited but sorted menu at the time of visit. Let’s see what I had.
▶️ Drinks (Mocktails)
1. Mango blast
2. Berry sweet heart
➡️ Taste was balanced about both the drinks. If you are fan of a bit sour drinks, you should definitely order berry sweet heart.
▶️ Starters & Mains
1. Shabnami tikka
2. Sabzi Gila Fi kebab
3. Veg green garlic dry
4. Dark rum fish chilly dry
5. Bombil Rani bahar
6. Prawns better garlic
7. Tandoori crab
8. Pomfret (Maratha gravy)
9. Pomfret (Malvani)
Note: Some of the above may not present in the current menu. They were chef’s special trial recipes for us.
➡️ So if you are thinking it’s a special seafood restaurant & you will not get enough of tasty veg here, let me tell you, you are wrong. They serve amazing veg as well.
I’ll special recommend Tandoori crazy, shabnami tikka, veg green garlic dry was the best. About the pomfret, I loved the Malvani curry at Masakha.
So overall my experience was 4/5.
I like the ambience of hotel tandoori chicken was delicious and other menu too. If in case you are expecting faster service then visit weekdays.
Because on weekend they just can't manage orders to served on time...but nice experienced.
A decent place with a good bar and friendly staff. Although i didnt got the chance to taste the seafood as i had all vegetarian friends with me. But the vegetarian food was also good. We ordered 1 hara bhara kbab along with some tasty cheese balls. The drinks were also standard quality and we had a great time there. Thanks for your time. 😁😁

Recently went to Masakha for the place is known to be a dedicated sea food restaurant. I had company of another 3 and we devoured tons of lovely dishes that the Chef had to offer. A quick glimpse of the experience we had in that natural picturesque sit out of Masakha:
They have a unique way of suggesting dishes - a live/ fresh platter that showcases the catch of the day and any other live variants like Crabs and lobsters that they offer. The patrons can choose from the catch, and they make it fresh for you as per your choice of curry or starter.
We started off with a Kokam Sharbat (welcome drink) which was just the right way to transport you to coastal regions followed by a Kiwi Apple Punch and a Mango Blast which were although a tad bit sweet (for those who don’t like their drinks sweet) were indeed very refreshing. I would rate the Kiwi apple much higher although than other drinks. The vanilla ice cream used gave them a body and refreshing cooling effects that could last a while.
We focused mainly on starters and tried over 7 starters with 3 veg variants and 4 seafood and let me assure all those vegetarians out there, that just because it’s a seafood restaurant, doesn’t mean you go starving. The place serves some delectable veg options too like Shabnami Tikka (7/10), Veg green chilli dry (9/10) and Sabzi gilafi seekh kebab (5/10). Let me accept openly that all the three hit the right notes on flavors. The veg green garlic was the best of the lot and a must have at the place. Let the pics do the talking.
For sea food variants we devoured on Fish Dark Rum Chilli (8/10), Bombil Rani Bahar (8/10), Tandoori Crab (9/10) and finished it with Butter Garlic Prawns (6/10). The dark rum fish impressive for it started off a bit sweet and the flavors evolved as you savored it with the morsel ending on a peppery spicy note. The bombil now has a rule of eating - it changes taste very quickly as it cools down and should always be eaten wok hot. We had this experience firsthand, so be sure to eat it really hot out of the pan or it may fail your expectations. The tandoori crab was made from the live crab from the platter and is one of the most sought-after dishes at the place. The prawns were really huge and tasty however the buttery gravy made was a turn off. The thick slurry like gravy took away the visual appeal and the use of cream made it a tad bit sweet which is not expected out of the dish.
For entrees the place serves your preferred seafood in a choice of gravies from within Maratha, Malvani and Goan style. We tried pomfret in a duo curry – Maratha (7/10) and Malvani (8/10). Now please note unless you know what Maratha food is meant to taste like; don’t opt for Maratha curry for most probably you will not like it. It is made in a very traditional way and is really spicy. Since it gives you that burning sensation you will not find finer flavors in a Maratha curry. To appreciate the taste and balance of flavors opt for Malabari curry instead which was high on use of mustard and had a distinct yellowish tinge to it. I personally loved both the variants and now excited to try their Goan curry as well.
Overall, a nice place for a laid-back evening dinner with friends with tons of fresh catch. And oh yes all those of you who avoid seafood for you are uncomfortable with the bones; do not worry for all their dishes are made boneless so you can deep dive into flavors without the worry of any unpleasant experience.
Perfect menu, though it's a seafood restaurant had a veg food...that was also just awesome... ambience and live music are add ons...I loved chocolate fondue a very unique dessert

So we Began with some Refreshive Mocktails -

2- Capriosca : Basically a cocktail modified to a Mocktail, this Drink is perfect to refresh yourself after a hot sunny day. The mints, ice cubes and lemons with sugar and soda keeps this drink simple and blissful. Cool, refreshing and unique flavour is worth a try.
Along with these Lovely Mocktails we had Some Delicious Appetizers such as
1 - Prawns (Shallow fried Malwani style) - As mentioned earlier, you get variety of choices with prawns. I without any second thought ordered Prawns shallow fried in Malwani style. The prawns was perfectly cooked with coconut based Masala coupled with curry leaves and Kokum which will instantly reminds you of Konkan.

Crab meat with butter garlic is out standing for those who love to experiment with their food and love to try something different. The Butter and Garlic boneless Crab is remarkable and the fragrance of the crabs with butter and garlic will definitely tickle your senses.
3 - Pomfret - White meat fishes are the Best fishes and Pomfret needs no introduction to the people who love Sea Food. The Pomfret here is also available in a variety of cooking styles and the most tasty Pomfret ever you can have here will be Tandoori Pomfret (tikka/chatpata). The Pomfret was well marinated and properly roasted. Obviously this well marinated and roasted Pomfret was the best Pomfret i ever had. You should definitely try it.
And in the Mains we Had:-
1:- Ghost Maratha - Thick red gravy with cooked in Maharashtrain style with lots of Spices and Good Juicy Meat is perfect treat for yourself and your friends /family. This Ghost Maratha is spicy and makes a perfect choice for the main course and is best to have with variety of Indian breads served at MASAKHA. My favourite is Butter naan. The size and texture of butter naan was not at all disappointing. A must try Meat gravy if you like Maharashtrian style food.
And we Ended up with Desert such As:-
1 - Gajar ka Halwa : Cooked and Served all over India, Gajar ka Halwa is everybody's love. MASAKHA's Gajar ka Halwa is rich in taste and garnished with dry fruits. Hands down this is one of the finest Gajar ka Halwa in the town. If you love Desi Dessert, Gajar ka Halwa is a great choice at MASAKHA.
Hospitality of their was too Good. As the Staff was too Co- operative to Suggest the Best according to the Taste.
Alongside the thouroughfare of Narhe, amongst the concrete jungle lies this serene place. The cafe has a sterrotype seafood outlet look, with a miniature Ship model, fish tank, hanging lights covered with cane canopies, cottage seating and outdoor seating with ample shade. Comfortable seating, wooden tables.
On entering, if you are planning on having fish, then you are given options amongst available fresh fish.
Positives: Good Non veg options, Speciality in sea food, Large variety in the menu, Sol kadhi exceptionally good.

2) Surmai Rawa fry: Classic dish, made to perfection.
3) Butter Garlic Prawns: Mild, soft, nicely cooked, melting in the mouth, delicious prawns.

The best part of this place is the mild flavours they incorporate in their food
This is a great place for people who can not tolerate spicy food but that doesn’t take away from actual flavours
The food is amazing n so is the ambiance too
Simple place, great food. We had few really innovative dishes along with few standard offerings.
Crab meat kebab : Crab meat was transformed into seekh kebab. Amazing thought, lovely taste. A must try.
Iceberg prawns: Imagine having healthy prawns with a slice of pineapple. Crushed ice enhanced the beauty of this simple and no frill offering.
Paneer malai kebab : Tandoored version of stuffed paneer kebab. Stuffing was very mild and flavourful. After a long time, I liked a paneer preparation.
Butter garlic prawns : Prawns tasted good with butter garlic combination. As expected.
Butter chicken : Every group has a butter chicken lover. We too had one with us. Everyone on table tasted the dish but he was the one to give justice to every ounce of butter n chicken out of it. It tasted good. Perfect creamy gravy.
Solkadhi : It was so chilled that I could barely gather the taste. Temperature balance is a must. Can be improved
Desserts served were liked by everyone on the table. Gajar halwa, Shahi tukda, Fried ice cream, chocolate browny and Gulabjamun. I liked Shahi tukda more than anything. None of the dessert was sugar overdose. A plus thing.

Come to Fish (Non veg) part so as per my cousin’s taste was good but lil spicy so while ordering something let them know that dish should be medium spicy.
Note - please check the menu card before you order. Some of the items are costly.

A must try place for seafood lovers, great place for family dinner and get together!
Live music is played on weekends. 🤩
Just a sthe name suggests..... Masakha in marathi it means eat fish..... and ya all know that sea food only tastes better and delicious if its fresh and made with atmost care while cooking. Well if you are a sea food lover then this place is just made for you.... the variety of dishes and the quality of fresh fish they provide is fabulous, even the quantity to cost ratio is well balanced, the size of the portions are huge and appreciable. We tried their in house special mixed seafood soup, and damn it was awesome...🤩🤩🤩
The we had few starters mainly shallow masala fried basa and rawa fried.... and aslo a baby surmai man that was treat....
In the main course we were served with the malvani style chicken hand and i was only able to utter one word 'wow'..... this dish should be on your mist try list coz its mid blowing.... i mean the segregation of sukha chicken and the gravy separately made it taste even more delicious and spicy....🤩🤩
They also serve some uniquely strong and tasty cocktails as well asocktails.... so do try them😁
A restaurant with perfect ambience, food and vibe.
Taking about the food-
The restaurant is famous for its seafood but it's not only related to seafood, the other non vegetarian and vegetarian dishes are also delicious.
They have a huge options in starters
Chicken tandoori and paneer malai tikka was made to perfection.(Must try)
Chicken Handi is a must try dish here💜
The service was fast and the staffs are very helpful and sweet.
Ambience is beautiful.

This place is pretty good for seafood lovers. But its not just about the seafood, the other Nonveg cuisine as well as the veg food here is perfectly delicious. Along with the food, the ambeince and vibes around the place is quite attractive and pleasant.

Do try their prawn butter Garlic, prawn chilly, crab Sukka, baby surmai tandoori.
In mocktails fruit punch was amazing.
If you are visiting this place then don't miss gajar ka halwa at all. It will make you visit this place again.
Overall a good place to enjoy with family and friends.
Located on the crowded street of Sinhgad road, this place serves the best seafood.
I am a big hopper for a seafood so i keep searching for the best seafood places.
Recently been to this place, place is quite huge and has a green ambience, as they have planted so many trees around. Indoor and outdoor both sitting areas are there so you can chose where you want to sit according to your mood and preference.
They serve food, drinks, alcohol, mocktails, and cocktails too so you can have whatever you want under this one roof.
I tried seafood soup which was super tasty and had no bad seafood smell in it as seafood was fresh.
Chicken tikka was perfectly grilled and it was served with a mint chutney.
Bombay duck koliwada and rawa fry both were equally good, they were perfectly fried till the crust became crispy and it was tender and juicy inside.
Rawa fry surmai is my all time favourite fish which they made perfectly, the marination was up to the mark and they served it with a salad which was too tempting.
I had malvani style chicken curry in main course which goes really well with the steam rice.
Its a value for money place.
