HAd been here multiple time for Dinner with/without family . Food quality and quantity are good. Staffs are very polite and friendly. Highly recommended if you want to sit silently and have couple of drinks without anyone disturbing you.
Love the food quality. Best buffet restaurant in Magarpatta. Happy hours pricing are good. Good Service and polite staff. A must try for all food lovers.
Had been to this place for a team lunch & had a great time enjoying food & company.
I have ordered the Pumpkin and Mushroom soup many a times from this place and it has been consistently good. Twice the quantity was a little less so I informed them about the same and I got a little more the next time. Small things mater when it comes to customer satisfaction and repeat customers. Will try out other food too sometime.
We ordered for buffet Lunch and it was excellent, all the items veg and non-veg were delicious and tasty. Will visit the place more often onwards.

Good place for Lunch and Dinner Buffet. The starters are really good here. It changes every day and night, depends upon chef's choice or any special order.
Had great time dining here. Be it indian cuisines, continental or mughlai, the quality and way of cooking is impeccable. Various drinks I tried, mock/cocktails, which was amazing and delicious too. Even the Dal khichdi(i would recommend that) or the simple chicken gravy with rice will be scrumptious. They have staff(Sagar and team) which recommends you the dishes according to your mood and requirements and their suggestions have never gone in vain.
PS- Non-veg sizzler/Fish with lemon butter sauce(served with veggies) can make you see heaven. Must tries!

Ambience: 3, its good if you visit for dinner as they have open seating. For lunch, choose place near to AC as it gets sweaty.
Hospitality: 4, staff was good and courteous
Starter: we went for paneer dish and stuffed Mirch. Stuffed Mirch was good but paneer was bland. It tasted more of continental.
Main course: 3, food was okay types. Nothing special. More in bland side taste.
Overall: I will say one time place if you want to have some relax time with your frnds.
Had a few breakfasts and one dinner here while I was staying at the Cocoon. They have a good spread and are well priced for the quantity they offer.
Personal favourites:
Breakfast - Banana pancakes, masala cheese omelette, medu vada-sambar, Sandwich rolls
Dinner - Turkish chicken(tender chicken prepared in a tangy sauce with some really awesome mashed potatoes), chicken in creamy mushroom sauce.
Had been here for breakfast a number of times ... Never disappointed me!!! The sambar and omlets are the best things served here .... Good number of varieties ... Ambience is great, the place is well maintained .. Staff is very friendly .. Overall it's a good place ...

UPDATE:
Went there after 3 weeks for a breakfast buffer after writing my first review. It was Vijayadashami morning, so maybe they included simple vrat-type items (like brat wala potato-jeera). Compared to last time, menu was pretty light ( maybe it's just me but I won't expect poha as replacement of set dosa...lol). Rest of all was pretty good until I got the bill (Rs 630/- for tow). Last time it was 440, but the staff told that recently they raised the price. Around 300 per plate for such breakfast buffet was overpriced. Leave alone the ambiance, it's overpriced now. I have no intention of coming back again or referring friends.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Went with my wife and eleven month old kid for a lazy sunday buffet. The ambiance was pretty good. They had indoor as well as outdoor (baramdah)seating available.
Dining area was cozy and chairs were comfortable. I asked for a high-chair for my toddler but to my surprise, it was not available. Though the staff urged me to take some pillows to be used as cushion, but I didn't liked the idea. Finally, my wife held my son and I served her the dishesh. @M should consider investing in high chairs (enev McD's and KFC's have them).
Coming to buffet, the menu was just like any other typical buffet (cornflakes, fruits, utappam/set dosa, tea,coffee, toast, pakodi, aloo parotha, veg cutlet, fruit juice, and the usual egg and non-veg stuff which i dont care about much).
One thing which definetly makes this place unique is the type of customers you find. Peoplecomiing for business trip were mostly seen in the buffet, which is a plus from the otherwise regular noice-making junta found at other places.
Overall me and my wife enjoyed the food and the ambience. Bill for two was 440 which was bit on a higher side from what I had experienced earlier. But the ambiance makes it even.
Next time if I m coming, I am going to take the Baramda table for sure.
Also I hope to find a high chair for my little champ as well.

I have been visiting this restaurant since 2010, and the good part is its food quality. Its always same and maintained. The staff is very professional and very well mannered.
I have also celebrated my son's 5th birthday out their.
I like their biryani. Chicken's quality was also nice. Ambience is perfect too. The only thing which I didn't like was a slow service.

This restaurant is one of my preferred options for a quiet family dinner in the vicinity of home. Very functional restaurant with good value for money. Especially like the Mediterranean and oriental cuisine, which has been localised for the Indian palette. Chef is accomodating and open for suggestions. Staff is very cordial. Overall seems to be an underrated restaurant given the spread of menu, quality and upkeep.
Good hotel to stay...nice service. .food is good..the only problem here is bar wil close by 11 so you will need to keep that in mind.
Prices are also in budget.

Really good experience. Food has always been good, its really worth the money you pay. This is the 4th time I have visited this place and this restaurant has never disappointed me, the service and food quality is really nice and to add to it is a very polite and courteous staff. Only thing to improve would be the menu. Overall a very good experience.
One of my friends dragged me to this place for breakfast. In the beginning I will be honest, I was not very comfortable. However the staff ensured that I am comfortable. Menu was widespread and the live egg counter was the cherry on the cake. Starting from roasted chicken to fresh bakery items to fresh fruits... You name it and they have it ready for you. Keep up the good work...

Being near to office, and in Magarpatta City, we had visited Cocoon few times for team/friend lunches. Its located towards South Gate of Magarpatta City, though there is a short cut through DC, to those who wish to walk from offices :)
Ambience wise, Cocoon is beautifully decorated, with plush furnitures and paintings at dining hall.
They have buffets, and a-la-carte for meals. Typically, we ended up ordering A-La-Carte most of the times.
As a part of non veggie group we ordered Chicken Tandoori and Non Veg Platter for starters along with few mocktails. Few of the mocktails, Fruit Punch, Virgin Mojito and End of Thirst were good ones.
The Tandoori chicken was very good with right mix of spices and cooked perfectly in Tondoor. Few of the fish items in platter were over cooked causing fish battered, rest few of the sikh kababs and chicken items were yummy.
Main dish consisted of Chicken Kolhapuri and Mutton Rara Masala. Chicken Kolhapuri was just ok, with right combination of spices, not too hot as they cook it elsewheres. Mutton Rara was really good and aptly cooked with tender meat pieces. Perfect justice done to the lost soul :)
However, we felt that quantity as not up to mark in both of the dishes.
Lastly, we ordered desserts. They were in large quantities, tasty and different combinations.
Service sometimes is slightly lagging and you may need to repeatedly place orders for water / roties etc.
So in the end, its nice experience to be at Cocoon.
