As a non-vegetarian lover I decided to try chicken tikka and chicken masala, from this place.Which was very tasty and spicy. I was surprised by the quantity and food portion it was good.The chicken curry was awesome, the chicken is cooked well and the combination of spices is great.

This place serves amazing sizzlers. my favorite is its chicken sizzlers.
on my recent visit i tried its chicken sizzlers for the first time and i absolutely loved it. it had big chunks of juicy grilled chicken in it with a good amount of nicely cooked riced in it. it also had some crispy potato fries which complemented the chicken and rice beautifully. also it had some fresh sauteed veggies in it. it came smoking hot and was very tasty.

This place is my go to place whenever I'm in pune. it has a very subtle ambience with very spacious seating area and a big bar on one side which caters to all your needs.
on my recent visit i ordered its Prawns chilli and it was one of the best prawns dishes i have ever tasted. the Prawns were juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. it was nicely mixed with sauteed veggies which included bell peppers, onions and spring onion. it was very nicely cooked and you can actually customize it as per your requirement. i asked to make it extra spicy and I loved it.

The ambience is pretty cool, one can visit this place along with their family and friends.
They have good options for both veg and non veg.

I started my dinner here with Continental soup and had paneer chilli and Manchurian from appetizers.

Celebrated my friends birthday at D’Palace at their Lounge which is known as Torque. The owner provided us a DJ & Dance floor and we had a blast over there. We had drinks and later ordered Murg Musallam in main course and it was the best Murg Musallam I ever had. This place is huge with chic decor, delicious food, lively ambiance and yet, one of the most affordable We friends decided to visit and it proved to a good choice.
The place is located in Bavdhan, Near Chandni Chowk and I was pretty impressed by the property and the space around it. It has different seating sections like indoor, outdoor and upper rooftop. It also has a lounge named as Torque. Ambience is perfect with dim lights and comfortable seating.
Coming to Food part we tried :-
1. Chicken Surai Kebab- Boneless chicken marinated and made in Tandoori masala, Was served with mint chutney and had had a good taste.
2. Pan Fried Chicken- Soft chicken pieces in special white sauce was really amazing in taste and is a MUST TRY here.

This is one of the few family restaurants in Bavdhan.Resembling its name like a modern palace,it has ample number of seating & food options.
We had a full 3 course meal of starters,main course & dessert.
♦️STARTERS
We had MUSHROOM MULTANI and VEG CRISPY.Out of these I loved Mushroom Multani as it was very different from the regular mushroom starters elsewhere.It had grated paneer as its filling which made it stand out from everything we had that day.
Veg Crispy was like regular one we had at most good places.
We complemented our starters with a grape flavoured non-alcoholic drink (don't know the name)which was very refreshing.
♦️MAIN COURSE
SIGDI VEG with TANDOORI ROTI makes a good combination and so we had the same.It was good in taste.
♦️DESSERT
I always have a special place for dessert in my meal & for dessert like MATKA MALAI KULFI the place is worth.
It has semi frozen Kulfi like Ice Cream served in mud pot.
It tasted great & is definitely worth a try.

Me and my husband has been to D palace over 20 times in the last 2 years. We mainly go there over the weekend to just relax and have a drinks with starters. It has multiple places within the restaurant to sit, there is the ground floor outside and, ground-floor inside sitting, and first floor inside and outside sitting. It also has a cool relaxing wibe going for it. With the drinks they provide peanuts and some other snack just for biting with drinks. The food is also good and of good quantity. Most of the time one dish is enough for two people. It's a must go place if you are in Bavdhan.
Amazing food. Alcohol well priced. Good ambience. Indoor and outdoor seating. Polite staff. No zomato gold here. Try the Murg Tikka Masala out here with Garlic Naan. Also try Murg Patri Kebabs. Yummy!

Most of the time you get things were you expect least it to find. The same tragedy happened to me when I visited D'palace for their Seafood festival. Nobody will ever think of having seafood at D'palace as they're known for other food preparations but trust me my opinion totally changed after having those seafood dishes. It was a total hit.
D'palace is a huge restaurant having different sections, you can choose to sit anywhere you like. We preferred to sit in the open space on the second floor so will get a nice look of Bavdhan and some space to chat with friends.
Without wasting any more time let's start with my picks from the Seafood Festival -
✦ Fish Makhmali TIkka - Surmai fish marinated in malai preparation and finished in tandoor. It had a sweetish flavor which didn't go well with the fish, I personally feel chicken marination doesn't suit fish.
✦ Prawns Tawa Fry - Fresh juicy prawns tossed in a nice onion based spicy masala. The masala had the perfect flavor of all spices and it suited the dish as well as our palate. I personally prefer spicier food so it was the best thing for me.
✦ Surmai Puneri Tawa - Surmai fish tossed in a mixture of white pepper and khas khas. The recipe is chef special and invented by him only. The mixture has a nice sweet, slightly tangy yet creamy texture which compliments juicy soft fish.
✦ Tandoor Surmai - A simple dish yet hard to achieve the perfect taste. The marination was on point and it was finished in tandoor which gave a nice burnt texture at edges with a smoky flavor. The marination had a nice soft layer on the fish skin and inside was all smooth soft juicy fish. Loved it.
✦ Fish Malwani - Surmai curry which was a bit watery in consistency with on-point flavors. It had a nice tangy flavor with dominant coconut taste. It went well with Amboli. A perfect companion to have with seafood curries.
Overall Verdict - I must say D'palace surprised me to the core. Never expected I'll get such good quality food. Definitely visit D'palace for their Seafood festival which is there till 13 th of Jan.

D palace was recently revamped and all new D palace offers lavish indoor and outdoor seating along with outdoor balcony type feel with unexpectedly good ambiance.
What we had here :
Solkadhi: Proper green chili punch and properly chilled solkadhi is what made me like it! It was bit thinner than usual, yet enjoyable.
Starters :
1) Prawns Tawa Fry : 7-8 medium sized prawns in lip-smacking red tangy masala served on banana leaf. Loved it ! The masala was literally eaten with fingers later.
2) Surmai Tandoori: Medium sized Surmai cooked to perfection in tandoor. It had perfect tandoori taste with mustard oil along with the smokey flavor.
3) Puneri Crab Tawa : Hands down one of the best crab dish I ate recently! Tasted perfect in every sense ! Crab was finished in no time and so was the sauce with it with was made out of white seasame seeds and poppy seeds.
4) Fish Reshmi Kabab : Surmai kababs made cooked in same reshmi style as that of chicken. Dish was good but didn't feel anything out of the box. A must-have for someone who doesnt like smell of fish as the reshmi masala took it all away.
5) Curries : We had Surmai malwani and prawns kalwani curry with amboli(which is malvan style of moist soft and fluffy dosa). Both the curries were tasted awesome and were medium spicy but I loved the Kalwani more. Both of them went well with amboli
6) Fish Tikka Biryani : Regular north Indian style biryani served in a clay pot with long grain basmati rice. The aromas and the flavor were to the point. Loved it.
Overall: A must visit place for fish and crab during the seafood fest. The staff was polite and service was quick. The restaurant was as good as new. A must visit place for seafood fest and otherwise.

Coming on to the food items which i tried here:
1)SURMAI TANDOORI:Surmai marinated in tandoori masala,the surmai was very well marinated in and the flavours of the marination had a nice balance of tangy and spice they were deep inside the surmai,the surmai was soft and well cooked.
2)PUNERI CRAB TAWA:This was crab tossed in a masala which was made up of khaskas and white pepper,the masala had a creamy and medium spicy taste.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
3)PRAWNS TAWA FRY:This was prawns tossed in spicy masala,the masala was really good and the prawns were nicely cooked.
4)FISH MALWANI CURRY:This was a coconut based curry with thin consistency,the curry was flavourful and came with two fish pieces and the curry came really good with the amboli.
5)FISH TIKKA BIRYANI:This was a medium spicy biryani with fish tikka,the rice was fluffy and moist and the flavour was coming really good,the taste was good.

If you'll have a look at D'palace it's pretty huge but you'll never expect to get the best quality seafood here. I was here for the seafood festival and my experience was too good. D'palace litelary blew my mind with the dishes which was served to us.
I'll tell you my picks which I personally loved it -
Solkadhi - Had that punch of spices but it was too cold. Could've been better if it was on the room temperature.
Crab Puneri tawa - Chef's special dish in which crab is tossed in the mixture of white pepper and khaskhas. A gem of a dish to have here.
Surmai Tandoor - Fresh piece of surmai marinated with a good amount of tandoor marination. It was balanced and went well with fish.
Prawns tawa fry - A nice spicy masala in which fresh juicy prawns were tossed. It was too good that I finished the whole leftover masala on my own.
Fish Kalwan Curry - A medium thick broth curry which had a slightly tangy flavor and all taste of homemade spices. It's a homemade curry version of fish preparation. Went well with Amboli.
D'palace definitely stood out in this Seafood festival and I can guarantee You won't disappoint if you'll visit for same. it's there till 13th of Jan so hurry up.

D palace is one of the oldest restaurants located in bavdhan and they serve Continental, North Indian Chinese cuisine. I have visited this restaurant multiple times but my recent visit was almost after a long gap of 4-5 years. The restaurant has revamped their interiors and looks much better now. They have indoor and outdoor seating arrangement. I visited this place for #Foodtasting of their ongoing Seafood Festival which will end on 13th Jan 2019.
Solkadhi: Prepared in house was slightly thin in consistent but was good in taste. It has good punch of garlic and green chilly. Indeed a perfect soothing appetizer.
Starters: We tried variety of starters like Tandoori Surmai, Prawns Tawa, Puneri Tawa Crab Fish Makhmali Tikka, Surmai Tawa Fry. I personally loved Tandoori Surmai which was a full sized surmai done in tandoori masala and was cooked to perfection, Tawa prawns had 6-7 meidum sized well cooked pranws done in a thick masala which was medium spicy and slighty tangy. Tawa crab was also superb in taste; the masala was prepared with fine paste of sesame, poppy seeds and coriander. Surmai Tawa fry was also done in same marination that of Prawns Tawa which was also good in taste. Fish makhmali tikka had surmai fish done in chicken malai marination which was slightly sweet with hint of cardamom and was mild on favors. It didn’t impress me.
Mains: We tried Surmai Malvani curry and Prawns Kalwan along with amboli, both curries were medium thick and rich in taste, the prawns kalwan was medium spicy and slightly sour and my best pick. Surmai Malvani curry was also good in taste. Amboli was served hot and was superbly done, it was soft and fluffy. We also tried Fish Tikka Biryani which had well cooked rice along with surmai tikka pieces in a medium spicy masala, it was perfect end to our meal.
Overall: Service was prompt and restaurant was hygienic, pricing is reasonable and portion size is sufficient for 2-3 people. Thanks a lot team D Palace for hosting us.

What could be better to have in this chilling winter season that a hot piping seafood soup or seafood platter? I've recently visited Hotel D'Palace for their Seafood festival and my experience was pretty good. It's a perfect time of the year to have some great seafood delicacies and D'palace is satisfying the need in its own way.
Duration -
Delicacies - D'palace is serving Crab, King Prawns, Surmai, Bangda, Bombil, Pomfret, Lobster, Halwa, Rawas, Squid and many more in their seafood festival.
Hotel D'palace is one of the oldest restaurants in the area and it got renewed lots of times. It comes with a complete package which has a lounge, open bar, open air seating as well as private AC seating arrangement. I can definitely say it's one of the Underrated restaurants in the Pune.
Without wasting any more time let's get into the main thing, shall we?
* The portions given for the tasting are kept small on our request so we can taste more things so actual portions are different.
✪ Liquid Items -
1. Crab Shorba - This one was something different. They use crab leg paste in the shorba which is something I heard for the first time. Crab legs are grinded until it gets a paste-like texture and used in shorba. The shorba had a nice thick layer at the top because of the paste but the broth was medium thick, however, the taste is usually giving out the dominating curry leaves flavor.
2. Solkadhi - You don't expect to get such good quality solkadhi in a multicuisine restaurant. The consistency of solkadhi was perfect and it had a nice dominating flavor of kokum with slight spice tick at the end of every sip. The ratio of kokum to the spices could've been tweaked to give it a more spiked taste.
✩ Starters -
1. Tandoor Surmai - A huge Surmai loaded with Marination is always a treat to your eyes. The marination was our usual Indian spices mixed which had a dominant spicy flavor. At some point I felt some bitterness but didn't get to know what it was, it was because of the burnt surface of fish. Fish was fresh and juicy and starting with tandoor was a perfect decision.
2. King Prawns Rawa Fry - a Nice crispy layer of rawa on the prawns which held the juicyness perfectly. Because of the freshness of prawns, it was dominantly juicy and had mild marination done on the flesh.
3. Prawns Koliwada - Red coated prawns which were again on milder taste but as I said earlier the prawns were super fresh. As per my personal opinion, the extra marination could've done the work as the flavors were too mild to give the proper taste.
4. Puneri tawa Crab - Chef special dish. Two huge crabs tossed in the mixture of coconut and khas khas and curry leaves, it was a dish inspired by South Indian Dishes. The mixture had a nice tangy flavor and it was thicker. The crab was superb and I don't think it needs any extra marination as it tasted perfect without it.
5. Butter garlic Lobster - This is my favorite combination. It goes well with any kind of fish. This was the first time I tried it with Lobster and I can say it went well with this one also. More on the creamier side but still the garlic balances out the taste and the lobster meat is a treat if you're a seafood lover.
6. Prawns Tawa Fry - Small juicy prawns tossed in the traditional Maharashtrian masala which is basically a combination of fried, caramelized onions and on the spicer side. If you love spicy then you should definitely try this one. The masala only wins you and the rest is just an experience worth going to D'palace.
✷ Mains -
1. Crab Chimbore - The bowl with crab was looking super appealing but the actual taste was quite disappointing. It was a bit salty which ruined all taste. The gravy had the flavor of crab but the taste wasn't appealing enough for me. It was okayish.
2. Surmai Kalwan and Malwani -
Kalwan = Turmeric based gravy which was on the milder side but had flavors on point. The gravy is similar to the homestyle gravy and had the spicy tick at the end of every sip.
Malwani - A perfect gravy to have here, the texture of this gravy was medium thick and had a dominant flavor of coconut as well as it was on the tangier side. A good dish to go with ghavan or neer dosa.
Fish Tikka Biryani - You won't believe me it was the best seafood biryani I've had in a long time. It was made in the Dum preparation. The biryani rice looked bit dry when I opened the pot but it was moist. The dish had the perfect balance of dryness and moist texture. The biryani had a good amount of masala which is something I always look for. The rice was cooked perfectly and the flavor was on point.
Overall Verdict - My experience was pretty good as I've never expected to get such good quality seafood from a Multi cuisine restaurant. Do visit their seafood festival and enjoy the Fishy Affair.
4.5 --- Actually, D-Castle ,, I am regular visitor to this place, It's great place.
Ambiance of D-Castle (top floor of D-Place) is nicely designed.
Quality of food is nice, I normally order Garlic bread with Fries and BBQ sauce in starters , it's great preparation (this time it was little less than it's benchmark) .. But overall food is nice and correctly priced. Service is also quick and friendly.

Their Kebabs & Biryanis are a must try. A perfect place to hangout with friends and family. They have a lounge bar & banquet hall where they accept birthday parties, private parties & corporate parties as well.

Really loved their chicken surai kebab. They also serve Matka Biryanis in their restaurant, Chicken Lucknowi Biryani was delicious.

Excellent food quality and service. The consistency in the quality makes the experience really pleasant. We were attended by the owner Rohit Vedepatil and he made sure we had good time.
It was our friends birthday and we were all served a complimentary beverage on the occasion.

This is a good place to have a drink and enjoy some good food. Seafood options are much better. The ambience is quite good. I would say the crowd is mostly drink buddies than the family crowd. If you and your friends want to have fun this is definitely one of the best places around Bavdhan to try.
DPalace has a very good ambience. Many seating options are available. Various cuisines are available to choose from. Food was also very good. Recommend this place for family dinner. Waiters are also very polite and professional.
Mocktails could have been little more better. Ordered two different mocktails and it tasted almost the same. Apart from this, everything else was perfect.

Many menu items to like. I love their almond broccoli soup, veg au gratin, mozzarella fingers, garlic bread cheese french fries, cheese chilli toast, . Good mock tails too. The place has 2-3 sections. There's torque and d'palace.
Overall the ambience is cosy. Upstairs is AC. Downstairs outdoor seating is great for evenings. The menu for upstairs and downstairs is different. The menu items I mention here are all from the upstairs restaurant. On most days and early evenings even in weekends the service is good. On weekends late, it's usually crowded.
Nice bar. Loved the low light ambience. The food was okeish but the service was prompt and courteous. Very well priced menu. Valet parking is available. Clean washrooms. Overall a good option in the locality.

We were here for the kebab and biryani festive at this place and tasted different, unique and some all time favourite kebabs followed by types of biryanis. I found the food here to be all satisfying and perfect for the season. Kebabs were really appetizing being cruncy and soft wherever expected with perfect flavours of spicyness. The biryanis too were really tasty, drooling and decent in quantity. The place is overall attractive and food is awesome too with good presentation of everything.

The starters were fresh, perfectly cooked, had the smokey flavour, tasty and the flavours were so good.
The biryani was good in quantity, it was nicely Dum'ed. It was tasty, spicy, flavourful and tastes delicious with raita and curry.
Shahi Tukda and Phirni - both were heavenly, had balanced sweetness and was so good in taste.

We tried Biryanis over there. THEN Shahi tukda and firni bothe were pretty decent and tastes amazing. Ample amount of space is available for seating. Indoor outdoor both seatings available. They also have dance floor. And pretty cossy place inside. Biryanis are must try here. Don't miss the biryani and kabab fest which is starting from 25th December 2021.
Food is really nice (I have ordered Chinese), service is below par of standard, once they serve they will come to clean up directly no one is bothered to serve you once your food is on table
