Just visited JD’s cafe and it’s was great, enjoyed the Parsi New Year eating dhansak and Kebabs, their kheema pav is excellent and my kid loved the shawarma wrap.
Their bolognaise + brioche was delicious.
Finally a good place for authentic parsi food
The staff was warm and friendly and it had a very homely atmosphere.
Lovely cafe with lovely people! Tried the egg mayo and the chicken cutlets. Ended up taking a takeaway! Fresh bread & interesting flavour to the mayo. Do try the chocolate brownies, it's to die for! Will be back to try the remaining items from the menu. Special shout out to Nupur for being a wonderful host. Cheers!

What we had Dhansak which basically is flavoured rice with chicken gravy, it didn't go with my taste but it was overall decent.
Mac and cheese here is so amazing I tell you peeps!

After seeing this place on a lot of Instagram stories..I added it in my must visit list but couldn't manage to go there. A few days back I finally got a chance to visit this place! And then I understood what the hype is about!
They have a great menu with very, very reasonable prices!
As much as I was getting tempted to order a bowl of Mac N cheese because I had heard a lot about it,..I didn't..well because you know..the dedication to healthy eating..but what I did do is persuade my friend to order it so I can try a bite or two! And trust both me and my friend were very satisfied with it. Without a doubt, it's one of the best Mac N cheese I'hv ever had that too in such low price. When it comes to quality..I think JDs is at the top of their game.
So what I ordered was, Tandoori Paneer Sandwich! The best thing is that we get to choose the bread. So I obviously chose brown bread over white one (not trying to be racist in any way) and asked them to switch Fries that they usually serve with sandwiches with salad. There you go..a healthy filling meal! It turned out to be very good. The tandoor flavor was on point and the size of paneer slice was generous. The salad was also good!
They have an offer in the evening where you get q dessert free after buying one or get one in half price. So we also got a dark chocolate cake which was absolutely delicious!
This Cafe is situated on east street exactly at the back of marz-o-Rin and I decided to visit it. So on Saturday during morning I visited this restaurant. Ambience of Cafe is really classy.. I really loved the ambience and vibes of this Cafe.. Secondly we ordered nonveg breakfast oh my God that cheese egg omlet was made with perfect taste,mayonese sandwich which was really tasty in the end I had coffee with black forest pastry which was freshly made. Im in love with there pastry, cheese omlet and mayonese sandwich I'm surely gonna visit this place soon

It's a nice place to go with your friends. Quantity/Cost ratio is pretty good. Would recommend the burger and shawarma in pita bread. The cold coffee is pretty good as well and I think it is supplied by frozen bottle.
Great place for Parsi food. Dont have the pictures because we were too hungry and wiped everything off. Had Veg Dhanshak, Egg breakfast and death by chocolate. All was very good and proportions were perfect. Will be visiting again.

I visited this place with my sister around 10pm cause we were super hungry and this place amazed us with their food taste and quality cause is was just superb. WoW what a place. Cool vibes for some quality adda time with friends. Excellent VFM offerings with huge portion sizes. Just love their Mezze Platter and Hot Chocolate. Tried the Blueberry Cheesecake too, it was decadence dessertified. It is one place in Camp which makes its mark as a clean, casual bistro with outstanding food, I am a fan !!!

A much needed cafe in camp. Affordable food with a great ambience and friendly staff, what more can you ask for. Must visit place for people who are looking to try something different they have rolls, sandwiches, biryani and other snacks as well. The chicken mayo sandwich and Mac and cheese are my personal favourite.
Absolutely love this Cafe! Set amidst the crazy buzzing streets of camp, it's a perfect place for a quite coffee break or to grab a quick bite ! Been quite regular here I've tried almost every good thing that they have to offer for Vegetarians! Salad roll, panner roll, veg salad, veg exotic sandwich , Mac and cheese , beligum chocolate shake, Choco Walnut Pastry are just a few of the many! Plus I have their loyalty coupons i.e 20,% off on their Bill, which gives me another reason to visit them again !

They would kill you with the amount of cheese and love poured in. Ordered a chicken Mac and cheese. Came loaded, preloaded and overloaded with cream and cheese with cheesy bun. Was a fulfilling meal and sleep-inducing too.
A cafe started with a vision to serve delicious meals at a lower price point, JD'S Cafe/Bakery definitely has the premium feel at a very affordable cost.
The interior is simply amazing, bright yellowish light everywhere, and these guys have taken really stupendous efforts for the menu on the blackboard!
They have quite a huge assortment of dishes, many of them laid out, bakery style, so you can see what the dish looks like before ordering it.
I've had a couple of items from here, multiple times. With each iteration the taste has gotten better and better. Kudos for the improvements you guys keep making! ❤️

I was on a hot chocolate spree and this specific one was an absolute glee.
Pure ecstasy. The reason being, it tasted like an actual hot chocolate, with hints of sweet and bitter, with consistency on point, more on the thinner side, and with an Oreo cookie to accompany it. Couldn't have asked for a better drink to end the weekend.

But again, a person's partiality towards a hot chocolate is completely subjective and a personal choice. So try it for yourself before you jump to conclusions 😌.
Also, their chicken bolognese is fabulous. If you're going there, might as well try it 😋

JD's Cafe is the new place to be at, in Camp. The food served here is absolutely amazing with new items being added to the menu every now and then.
We had their hot chocolate and chicken sandwhich. Both tasted great and are super affordable which is a score.

After hearing from a lot of blogger friends, we decided to give this place a shot. Coming from other side of town, we had high hopes since we had travelled 20kms to reach here.
The place is quite lit with LED lights and tubes. There's an outter and inner sitting. In front of the entrance you have a counter where you can give your order and on the left side of the counter you'll see all the dishes from the menu being displayed with price. On the right you see their delicious bakery products.
We started with some beverages. Not many options here other than the regular hot beverages. I decided to go for a warm cup of Latte and Taniya decided to go for Hot Chocolate. The Hot Chocolate is easily the winner here. Rich, velvety-smooth, creamy, bitter, warm with intense flavors of chocolate served as a perfect dessert and drink.
The Latte wasn't bad on its own but Hot chocolate made me not pay attention to it anymore. Both the drinks were served with an Oreo cookie.
In meals, we had the Chicken Bolognese which was recommended to us. Was nothing like a classic Italian Bolognese with spaghetti and red meat, instead this had Elbow macaroni pasta, ground chicken, marinara sauce and parmesan cheese. It was delicious and served enough in quantity for two.
Overall, a good visit and we left the cafe pretty satisfied. Will definitely come back for more.
I would like to entitle them as "Baker's baker" n the camp area, which I personally feel as Bakery hub in the Food town. One of the main concern and must improve thing about this place is ambiance. The must need to think out of the box idea to make it more pleasant.
About food, no doubt it is delicious for non-vegetarians. But enough options for vegetarians as well. Cakes and pastries are too yummy and mouth watering.
I'm gone for coolers. The options in coolers which they have are truly refreshing and soothing as thirst quenchers. But, I'd suggest, it could be more natural than what they serve.
Overall Food was too good and I'd definitely visit next time.

A quaint little cafe on the main streets of M.G. Road. M.G. Road desperately needed a place like this, because there were really less options on that road and the ones which were are there are already tried and tested. Moving ahead, JD's is one such place on M.G road which looks very lively and the food is priced very reasonably plus the best part is they have a washroom! Yes! A washroom on M.G road, that's right! What a blessing!!
So let's see what I had at JD's cafe :
1. Chicken salad - Their chicken salad is very average. I think they should change their recipe as a few ingredients don't go well with each other. Also the dressing needs to be changed as it tasted very average.
2. Mac N Cheese - Their mac n cheese is decent. Nothing fancy about it but I think it's a steal for the price they are serving it at.
3. Chicken Cutlet - Oh their Cutlet is fabulous. I am not sure if that is a chicken farcha but whatever it is. Just try it.
4. Chicken Mayonnaise Roll - Their chicken mayo roll is good. The bread is freshly baked and the filling inside the bread is nice and moist. Loved it.
5. Cool Blue - This is just your blue cacao with water. It's nice :)
Overall, if you are on mg road shopping and all tried looking for a good place to chill at. This is a must visit place.

The new outlet on east street road is perfectly placed with such superior ambience and food quality. Pretty nice service and tables well set. They have great variety of list to choose from with display to dishes to choose. So why just read from the menu, you can even see and order. Their pastries are yummiiiiilish!!!!! Hazelnut Chocolate one of my favourite.
Shakes served are top notched. Nachos well served but salsa sauce doesnt go with it well.

One of the hottest sizzling brownies I had, the chocolate was oozing out from all sides and it was a treat to watch. The presentation is excellent. We ordered the badam dessert and the pista dessert. Both were very precisely created especially the pista one. We couldnt have enough. If it was nearby I would have visited much more often.
A warm ambience, must mention the fun decor and the place gives a positive vibe. The main reason I would give a 5 rating is because the place is pocket friendly and food is yummy.

This place looks expensive but it is very pocket friendly. I had ved burger it was amazing in taste nice amount of filling and herbs. The cheese stick were also nice and very cheesy. And the Mac n cheese was a best among all nicely baked and cheesy at this price point. The ambience looks amazing and the main point is the place hygiene it's best then a five star hotel. Visited this place for some chocolate cravings, creations were very delightful.. ambience is of little nostalgic tiny things, reminds us of the late 90's eateries, with lip smacking suggestions from the lady, which were drool worthy. Tried hot chip choco cake with vanilla ice cream and walnut pastry.. both were yummy... They surprised us with their hospitality.. amazing experience..

A welcome addition in East Street and an excellent alternative to the hegemony of Marzorin and Pasteur's, this place feels young, vibrant and has a plethora of options at pocket friendly rates.
We tried their Tandoori Paneer sandwich, Roasted 🐔 Chicken sandwich, Classic Chicken Burger (all were served with extremely delicious and hardly oily fries, a welcome departure from unhealthiness). They had options of white, brown and multigrain 🍞 bread and whatever we tried was downright excellent.
We ordered their in-house drinks - Green Apple mint, Kala khatta and a Cappuccino. Everything was as refreshing and fresh as the other.
Service, especially for the outside seats, can improve. Place looks clean and service is otherwise excellent, although food can take some time. Overall, excellent cafe to hangout with friends. Highly recommended.

A comfortable cafe much needed in camp. Great food and quantity. The dhansak was perfect served with rice, salad and a complementing raita it was more than enough for two. For desert, their tiramisu was scrumptious. The food accompanied by great service makes a perfect Sunday afternoon. Must visit!
Ordered biriyani combo which included a chicken cutlet and chocolate ball. Needless to say,it was outstanding. The winner was the cutlet ,soft and tasty.The biriyani had a great flavor with the correct spices along with a wonderfully delicious chocolate ball which had Chico chips in it.Awesome indeed❤❤❤
So I was just roaming around shopping in the afternoon and I stumbled around this place. It's a cute little new cafe on the busy streets of camp. There's a lot of positive vibe around and the staff is really gracious and interactive.

What a beautiful cafe in camp! And prices are affordable too!
The cold coffee with ice cream costed around 120 and the coffee was more towards the bitter side which I loved! The veg zoom burger was for 70 and the patty was so cheesy and delicious! I think it's one of those cafes where you can hang out for hours and end up not paying a lot.

Well this place was a surprise for sure, honestly wasn’t expecting it to be this good. A very prime location, good ambience, management and service is good and to top it all the food is fresh and tasty. Things to try Prawn tarts, mushroom tarts chicken mayo roll and the dark chocolate cake.

The ambience is simple, minimalistic but really great loved the ceiling painted like the sky and i thinks so it was zeus's painting on one of the side walls.
The service was quick the sandwich and the coffee arrived in like 5 minutes after ordering.

The place is situated right in the heart of Camp area. Not so popular yet, but definitely worth of trying once, twice and so many times more. Beautiful ambiance, quite a spacious one. Everything in this cafe is made with love, you can definitely feel that once you get in. Menu is really huge and written with colorful chalks, very classic one.
My friend had ordered Chicken Mayo sandwich. As he was here before and had the same stuff, he knew exactly what he was ordering. But I was little confused what to order so the owner suggested me to order Grilled Chicken Mayo sandwich. And when I had the very first bite of my sandwich, I was like "MY GOODNESS". The sandwiches were so delicious. Everything, the chicken, the mayonnaise, the bread, was fresh.
Next stuff we ordered were Oreo Shake and Mixed Berry Shake. Oreo shake was again, damn good but my friend got really upset with mixed berry shake. I guess the mixed berry shake is not everyone's type.
So after everything, things always come down to prices. The menu consist of variety of things, many of them are Parsi cuisine, and still the prices don't go much high. The prices ranges from 40-50 Rs. and goes all the way up to 150-160 Rs. That's about breakfast items and if you order their specials, the prices goes little high, but again not much. And now if this is not affordable, I wonder what else could be.
It was a pretty indulging experience. I guess this place has become my new favorite in Camp area and surely want to explore more items on their menu in my next visit.

1) Dark Belgian Shake - A thick shake comprising of chocolate, milk and chocolate dressing. Recommended!!
Appetizers:-
1) Chicken mayo role - This was the owner's favourite dish. It had delicious chicken and is flooded with cheese and mayo. The bread used was in-house baked which was too good. Bread options available are Multigrain, brown bread and white bread. French fries are also provided with the role. Recommended!!
2) Spicy chicken tart - Spicy Chicken chunks loaded with lots of cheese.
3) Parsi poro- A Parsi style egg omelette with secret masala, It was accompanied by french fries.
Desserts
1) Chocolate almond malai slice - Multilayer desserts with a base of the cake, white chocolate, cake, chocolate and the toppings of chocolate and almonds. It is served with molten Kulfi base. Highly recommended!!!
Overall -
1) Nice hangout/dining place with friends and family.

What a Place!
You know you’ve hit a great spot when there is an array of deliciousness (read across the glass counter) right in front of you! A slight look at your right and you see the magnanimous menu, in bold and chalk staring down at you. What a sight, more like a revelation. The menu starts as basic as ₹30 and goes upto ₹150. Yes, that’s pretty much the bracket!
JDs Cafe is hard to miss especially if you are a regular camper at Camp. The Black and pink theme invites your attention almost immediately, east street has a lot of options but nothing like this. Why you ask? Here’s penning down a quick 5 -

An awesome cafe in the midst of the hustle bustle of MG road. The food is delicious and more inclined towards Parsi cusine. The dessert also looks great. My my what a place ... awesome taste .... had this chocolate malai pastry .... which was just yummmmmmmmmmm.... then I had chicken salad which was having shawarma pieces this was also too good ... the let down was the cold coffee which was not good .... but a very good place

JD's ,a place next to Wonderland serving all types of sandwiches, shawarma, tarts,shakes,sundaes, desserts and mains included dishes from Parsi cuisine. A large comfortable seating and a attentive staff , feeling relaxed when actually you are at the most busy street and area of central Pune.
What we had come to eat was Parsi food as the establishment is run by a Parsi family .
Going straight for a wholesome mains (Nakki Mal ) hungry we were, we had....
Chicken Dhanshak ... Came with a good amount of gravy and three pieces with caramelised brown rice . The gravy was thick, spicy and tasty. The rice done well. Having had Parsi food many times and making it myself , this one meet my expectations. They make limited edition ,so couldn't taste mutton and had to opt for the chicken. #highlyrecommended
Chicken Farcha... Fried chicken leg with a coating of eggs and parsi masala. It was juicy, tasty however very oily. #recommended
Chicken Cutlets...came in small ball size , priced at Rs.30/ each were a bit dry ,the filling was nicely made and you got to have at least two.
Steamed pomfret called Patra ni machhi. Wrapped in thick coconut corriander green chatney and steamed in a banana leaf. Fish was well cooked , mildly spiced and flavourful. Price was Rs.250/ for a medium sized fish.

Parsi Custard .....is a baked vanilla Custard with a hint of Jaifal(Nutmeg). This one was a complete disaster. It was very sweet and .. nothing more!!

Do I love this place or do I love this place ? Odd name which doesn’t tell you what you’ll find there. Beautifully painted thoughtful interiors which tell you how wondrous Mother Nature is. Pair it with casual cafe vibes and affordable delicious food and you have a winner! I loved their centrepieces on every table and the mayo sandwich which was super yum. Giving you a great alternative for the always so crowded marzorin, this place is a must must visit.

On hearing a lot about it, we decided to try Jds. After a lazy Sunday, this kind of comforting food is so welcoming. Very good serving at very reasonable rates. Very friendly management. Nice to have this kind of place in camp. We visited with our daughter. So the food is for all. Even she had her mac n cheese. There is a choice for all.
So was here this morning and I ordered a chicken mayo sandwich, a roasted chicken in pita bread, a peach iced tea and a strawberry milkshake. I must say the food was upto the mark However the strawberry milkshake was a let down. But all in all the place wasn't a let down. The staff is kind and their service was quite prompt. So well done and keep up the good work.
A great, little place at the heart of Pune. This place is situated on east street. The ambience is great and outstanding from other cafes in vicinity and has a great atmosphere. This is my second visit to this place .I had an outstanding experience on my first visit for my birthday cake. The cakes are awesome .A tough fight for bakers basket, I guess. This time I tried Veg Cheese Croquette which was awesome and just melts in ur mouth, which was served with a tangy sauce and ketchup. The rates are reasonable compared to the area they are in.

JDs Cafe is a newly opened cafe. Ambience is decent accompanied with beautiful painting on the wall. One has ample of options to choose from to satisfy their tastebuds with yummy food at pocket friendly price. You must try the desserts which are luscious.
Chicken zoom burger tasted good, the patty somewhat seemed like made out of egg and less amount if chicken. This could have been better.
Chicken Pita Roll was fresh and also consisted of chicken patty which was cooked well, veggies were present in it along with tasty sauce. One of my favourite.
Oreo Dark Choc Pastry- This is absolute yum. The pastry was warm and the dark chocolate made it more satisfying. #recommended

Visited this Decent Cafe in Camp area, heard a lot about the Ice-Cream Soda's over here so tried it out, I pretty much loved it.
I tried the Watermelon Ice-Cream Soda and it was refreshing.
The Prices although are a bit expensive compared to the quality which they serve
I also had some Peri-Peri Fries and nachos, it was average I can say, not that great.
On the other hand the cold Coffee is what I loved the most.
Do definitely try out the Ice-Cream soda's over here, it's their main USP
A warm ambience, must mention the fun decor and the place gives a positive vibe. The place is pocket friendly and food is yummy.
We tried some of their dishes and it was all appetizing. A GO to place if you're visiting East Street. We tried their stuffed omelette which was our complete favourite, tried a lot of their dishes chicken bolognese, bbq chicken burger, chicken roast, and liked almost everything except their shawarma plate, if you are a true shawarma lover then you won't be satisfied. Tried their shakes and desserts and it was yummy.
It's a very cozy place to seat for hours and hangout with friends. They have variety of food options from snacks to meal to try. I highly recommend coolers to try. All the food items are tasty and value for money. We made just 500 bill with good quantity and quality of food in 3. Coolers are for 70 bugs which are little higher side but they are amazing. I highly recommend this place as the staff and service is also very good not like other cafes on MG Road.

After hearing from a lot of blogger friends, we decided to give this place a shot. Coming from other side of town, we had high hopes since we had travelled 20kms to reach here.
The place is quite lit with LED lights and tubes. There's an outter and inner sitting. In front of the entrance you have a counter where you can give your order and on the left side of the counter you'll see all the dishes from the menu being displayed with price. On the right you see their delicious bakery products.
We started with some beverages. Not many options here other than the regular hot beverages. I decided to go for a warm cup of Latte and Taniya Food Escapes decided to go for Hot Chocolate. The Hot Chocolate is easily the winner here. Rich, velvety-smooth, creamy, bitter, warm with intense flavors of chocolate served as a perfect dessert and drink.
The Latte wasn't bad on its own but Hot chocolate made me not pay attention to it anymore. Both the drinks were served with an Oreo cookie.
In meals, we had the Chicken Bolognese which was recommended to us. Was nothing like a classic Italian Bolognese with spaghetti and red meat, instead this had Elbow macaroni pasta, ground chicken, marinara sauce and parmesan cheese. It was delicious and served enough in quantity for two.
Overall, a good visit and we left the cafe pretty satisfied. Will definitely come back for more.
My favourite eatery in Poona. They have a great display, excellent quality and service style and a very understanding staff which matters the most at all eateries. Food quality is reminiscent of the good old days when Poona eateries were considered among the best in the country.
A must visit if you're out on a eating binge.
