Opted for chinese lunch combo through zomato. Delivery was really quick, packaging was decent and free from spillages. Noodles combo tasted nice and flavorful and quantity was sufficient. Felt szechuan fried rice had excess oil, they used color it seems hence didn't really go with my palate..can give it a try for decent meal option as its value for money

Have been going to this place since I shifted to this city. Although I like the east street Chinese room more, it would be unfair not to mention this restaurant which is pretty decent and conveniently located. Substantial items available in the menu at quite a decent rate. The quality of food is commendable though there is a huge scope for improvement which can make this joint the most happening Chinese restaurant in the area.
Love to have their Sweet corn crab soup every time I visit or order from this place.

A place that has been famous for Chinese since ages! Have been visiting it for many years now.. Huge variety is available for both veg n non-vegetarians. The staff is polite and good with giving suggestions according to your palate... My personal fav are; wonton soup, butter fried prawns, haka noodles! The ambiance is alright. Due to lack of space the tables are kept too close.. if you can ignore that, its great!
Lovely place to be if you are a fan of Chinese food, with a greater variety to satisfy your palate. This resto, has a mildly dim lit ambience, with two tier seating inside. Comfortable seating on sofas and cushioned chairs makes it good even for family dining. Staff is very cooperative, also give appropriate suggestions according to your preferences. The service is good.
Positives: Great variety in the non veg menu, authentic chinese and Indianised versions both available here, tasty food and served red Hot.
Negatives: Due to space constraints, the tables are placed closer. (if that doesnt bother you, the place serves real tasty food and you must try it.)
Ive been here on many occasions and this is my go to place so I would suggest a few dishes Ive tried.
1)Wontons and Spring rolls are good.
2) Chicken saiwoo, just love the moderately spicy chicken dish.
3) Chilly chicken and Butter fried prawns are my personal favourite.
4) American chopsuey and Cashew chicken.
My friend liked this dish sooo much. We were on a party mood & this was the best vegeterian sabji for him.
I know this place for the past 20 years and was very regular in the first few years and later missed coming as it's away from my residence now.. so finally I made a visit again after 10 long years and to my surprise its still the same.. the same taste as it was years back.. same warmth as before..

Visited the place for celebrating my wife's birthday. Ordered Prawns dumplings and Chilly sesame prawns. The verdict... Just awesome. The Chilly sesame prawns are a relish that can't be missed. The dumplings are so yummy you just can't stop.
We loved the place so much that we visited it again in a week for my birthday celebration. The staff is courteous and service is timely. Would love to visit again.

I visited this place after 14 long years and realized that nothing much of this place has changed. Simple decor, simple uniforms for the waiters and the old man behind the counter, it all felt very warm and brought me memories from 2004. It is Chinese food customized to the Indian palate. We ordered the Chicken Saiwoo and the Chilly Roast Lamb for starting off our meal. I had my "dimaag mein laddoo phoota" moment when I saw pork on the menu, but the laddoo was further broken into a million pieces by my father, and we went for the lamb.
The Chicken Saiwoo was nice- it had the perfect balance of a little sweet and sour, something which is my personal favorite. It is fried and tossed with the sauce, so eat fast. The last few pieces got a little soggy. On the other hand, the lamb was a little underwhelming for me. The garlic and chilli failed to add a punch to the dish which I had been anticipating. The lamb, however, was well cooked.
It was just us three sharing two starters, and it got our stomachs relatively full quite fast. Of course, we can't just stop at two starters, so we ordered a bowl of Chicken Hakka noodles to share. They got over in a matter of minutes, and it was one of the best bowls of noodles I've ever had. The noodles were not so soft, nor too hard, and were topped by a generous amount of vegetables and meat.
All in all, it was a fantastic walk into the memory lane. It is a little on the expensive side though.
A neat and clean place that serves authentic "Indian Chinese". Courteous staff. This place is much better than the "Chinese room" in camp which gives such bad service that can ruin your meal.

This place never disappoints me and thus has me as a frequent visitor. I remember visiting this place since childhood!! It has a dim ambience and old staff who are not very courteous but keeping that aside this place serves sumptuous food!! One should definitely try chicken taipan noodle, non-veg fried rice and barbecue chicken hong kong style. The noodle, chicken and the rice compliment each other so well and taste amazing.
Not to forget the sizzling hot brownie with vanilla ice cream is an absolute winner in dessert.

Although a bit on the costlier side, good food makes up for it. I enjoyed the fish fingers. Mixed fried rice was good too, but it should be served with some gravy.

30 year old Chinese restaurant, which looked like it had seen better days but was unwilling to give in to the nouveau styled high street chains just as yet. The decor was a little gloomy but clean and tidy. You enter into an inviting aroma of traditional Chinese food and if you have a nose for it you know you are in for an evening of gastronomic pleasure. The staff are inviting and attentive and even though the order was not repeated there were no errors. Especially when we were discovering some exotic fare in the menu and kept ordering randomly.
The asparagus and chicken soup was flavourful yet bordering on bland, just as you would expect authentic Chinese soup to be, so you could bring it to your taste with the light soy and chilli vinegar. The pork mushroom bamboo shoots blew us away. The pork was lean, cooked just right to retain its gnaw without being stringy with ample amount of vegetables and a rich aromatic sauce. We tested them by ordering steamed vegetable wantons and really just wished we weren't 4 people sharing it, as I wouldn't have minded a few more falling into my share. The Szechuan triple rice was rich and delectable. An absolutely unforgettable experience with polite attentive waiters who even kept an eye on our little toddler without harassing us while we ate. I was in the area and was looking for a decent restaurant to have lunch ... when I spotted this place !! The name seemed familiar as I've been to their branch in camp and the food there is amazing !! Chinese room oriental did not disappoint,I enjoyed the food there and will definitely suggest it !

In starters ordered fish mangolian which I liked the most and tried dumplings both prawns and chicken each.
In main course ordered kunbow chicken which is thick gravy and little sweeter and fried rice and in noodles Singapore noodles flat in veg

there are other items which we we have tried which are common across the chinese restaurant all are well made.
It's my most favorite restaurant in Pune. The food is simply great. No oily, no spicy, it's just optimum with every ingredient.
I love their pekking noodles, which is the dish that i can eat even though i am full. The noodles they use are rice noodles which taste more than delicious. Along with that the dragon rolls are also something you can go for.
The service is very nice, they always suggest you nicer options as per your taste.
This is a limited review because I ordered veg Chinese whereas the place is known for its non veg Chinese servings. So I ordered for Veg Dragon Roll, Dumplings, and Vegetable Peking Noodles. The taste is average. The starters tasted nice. But then the "pungent" preparations in noodles and rice are a little too on the sweeter side. Cauliflower in sweet sauce in the Peking noodles was a turn off. However, The service is prompt and ambience is nice. I would recommend it.

A classic Chinese place who does just the right justice to your indo-chinese palette! Every time we crave for indian-chinese, we think of this place and never get enough.
Something apart from food but very relevant and important about F&B about this place--- If you notice all the servers and f&b staff here are silver-haired. If you compare it any other joints, the ratio of seasoned employees is very high. Its good to know that the employer has done a really great job by retaining all such tenured people and trusted them even in this age... This is something every firm owner should follow and learn from.. kudos & respect!

I have been going to this place for years and their taste has been consistent throughout. I love the chicken spinach flat noodles in Hongkong style ! Also thier ginger garlic prawns are super delicious I think everything on their menu is worth trying !
I never thought this place would be soo good. Went here last month. We had ordered shanghai dry, taipan noodles and iced tea. The chicken shanghai dry was the best, loved it. The noodles were great too. The chicken is fresh and cooked well. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you are a Chinese foodie you have to visit this place. Will surely visit again :-)
Usually i don't like chinese food so I avoid to visit such places. But due to friend's recommendation I visited this place.
Food quality is good but quantity is very less.

I usually do not go for Chinese but well this place was a surprise! Tasty chicken starters ignite the hunger buds and if this is with a glass of beer, nothing like it!

This has taken a long time, but finally writing a review now based on multiple visits. I like this place. Every time I have a hankering for Chinese food, I come here. That being said you have to be careful with what you order or who you ask if you don't know what to order. So far I've loved the manchow soup and the chicken clear soup. The starter steamed chicken wrapped in some sort of foil is quite good, as are the dimsum. You do get your typical Chinese starters like the lollipop and basic other fried and dipped in soy sauce stuff, but go for the steamed, much better. I love the chicken supreme in the main course, which will go with any rice and noodles you order and the honey noodles with icecream for dessert is amazing.
Will of course visit again.
P. S keep in mind that they don't reserve tables on weekends. So get there early.

I have eaten here for the last 5 years now, and absolutely love this place! Home delivery is a great option, but so is dine in. They serve you super fast, so that's great.
The food is very tasty. I love the mixed non-veg fried rice. It had generous amounts of prawns, chicken, egg and pork. The standard machurian gravy, etc is yummy too. I recently tried the steamed chicken wontons here. They ticked most of the boxes for me. The portion size is big, 10 wontons in a plate and they come super steaming. They taste good too!
Another thing I sampled here recently is the pork spare ribs in honey sauce. These were so sticky and sweet and amazing to eat! They went down so fast with a chilled glass of beer.
The prices are very pocket friendly and it sure is value for money considering the big portion sizes. Go here if you crave a warm, Chinese meal! :)
This is our family dinner place. Vegetarian or non - vegetarian options are large portions. Good food and good service. The people always have a smile to greet you and have options to suggest.
Love the food, chinese food indianised to the right extent. More smiling and less arrogant staff could make the place more welcoming like the camp branch. But still then keep revisiting the place when in mood for Chinese.
Every item we ordered was so full of flavor and super delicious. Hakka noodles were perfect, not the oily ones which we normally get. Red chilly garlic chicken was toh awesomely tasteful :D

So a lazy afternoon.I was visiting this place after 6 years or so I guess.So I was hoping to have the same taste and the same quality food that I had before. So upon entering, the place was vacant.Just a group of corporates sitting upstairs.The place is clean and tidy,no doubt.So to start with we ordered a pint of beer and mushroom Manchurian.The mushrooms Cooked to perfection and excellent sauce.They served a sweet and spicy salad too with that.We then ordered veg fried rice with hot garlic sauce as I was told it would be medium spicy.The rice tasted good but I found the gravy to be somewhat sweet.Everything else was absolutely fine.
The management,ambiance as well as the food was totally great.

Hi. It has been good experience to visit this place for having Chinese dinner. It is a very good place for having Chinese with family. Dishes we tried were chicken n prawns. Chinese room oriental is a total blast from the past. It is like stepping into Pune of the 80's this is when it was the absolute king of Chinese food in Pune. I remember running into the who's who of Pune and they came from all corners to eat here. Today the place is a shadow of its former self even much of the original Chinese decorations are gone.
But every time I am at my house in Pune I do like to visit the restaurant atleast once. I love their 80's take on Chinese food and they simply make the best chicken chilli fry in the whole world. They roast the chicken in soy before stir frying it. Other dishes I pine for are the American chopsuey and the prawns in hot garlic sauce. The quantities are generous and the place is teeming with regulars who don't really care about the interiors and ambience. So don't expect much in that department when you go there. But your promised good Chinese meal for sure!

So, we ordered 2 starters for us. The fried king fish were very Fresh & Crisp. Even after 1 hour. Chicken Dynamite were superb too. Along with the dip it was very tasty. It was a Garlicky dip. Nice Food Overall!!

This is a place of childhood delight and nostalgia. Although the ambience is slowly showing signs of growing old, the food quality has sustained at a high ever since! The Fried Rice is an excellent dish, with the flavours mild yet tasty. My personal favourite is the American Chopsuey. The Spring Rolls here are to die for too, with their crispy exteriors and a great stuffing made up of vegetables (and meat, in the non veg variety!) Definitely worth a try and then one more :)

Dark little cozy place.. they have interiors some what like an authentic Chinese place would have. The food they serve is awesome. They've got some really really good and different dishes you would otherwise get at a desi Chinese joint. Must try: chicken spring roll, chicken sawainoo, chicken in black bean sauce.

This is one of the very good places that serves great Chinese food. However it has closed down since the lockdown started. According to their front end staff, the place is not likely to reopen in the future. All orders are directed to their East Street outlet. Hope this helps 👍🏼
