Best tea and samosa combination
Good tea n non veg samosas
Legendary off course! A must try Irani cafe, simple sweet and little old and a little run down unfortunately! But stil worth it for trying their all time hit "brun maska" with chai!ย
I find the irani chai here the most refreshing compared to all the chai's around.
Still very old fashioned, so be prepared to share your seat with others if required and pay by cash only as they don't accept card payment.
The samosa are amazing and so are their bakery products!
A definite must try if in Camp!
I always visit this place to have Chicken Samosas and Irani chai with Bun Maska. It never lets me down. Ambience needs to be worked upon. But food is good. Service is quick. And pricing is perfect.
The most refreshing tea!
Along with the hot samosas! Love it. Veg and chicken variety.
Regular visitor to mahnaaz. The chai wakes you! Typical old Irani cafe..
#TeaTime #chickenSamosa #vegSamosa .The bunmaska and chai was good. Chicken samosa was better than the veg ones. Not much oily . Loved the irani chai :)
This Irani Hotel on the lane behind Budhani Wafers is the remnant of the noble Naaz/ Mahanaaz which was once opp. Aurora Towers.
Landed here with high spirits on a rainy morning which took me down the memory lane as it was one of the formal places on our list during school days.
The ambiance is exemplary of such joints where you voluntarily share your table with strangers.
Ordered the Irani chai and Bun Maska, a typical breakfast that remains un-altered in its status and taste. Next were the veg samosas. A plate serves six, you can have as much and the rest is taken back. The taste of the samosas had hardly changed over the years however the size sure did.
A bang for the buck, lucid place with lightening fast service and awesome samosas makes it a must visit!
Came here just once with my friends who are their patrons, was not disappointed. I liked the jam roll and chai.
Mahanaaz one name... and other name is Samosa...!!!
Use to visit this place since school days..!!!
simply great..!!! Samosa and chai... use to make my day, this was in 2003-04..!! yet the feeling is same..!!!
It's samosaaaa time the retro samosa place in pune almost the same taste since I been tasting !! Good place for tea n snacks must visit once !!!
Irani chai and lip smacking chicken samosas. Period. But almost all the bites out there are worth it. This is the kind of place where you'd wanna chill with your bro gang over tea, snacks and smokes( yes, you can smoke inside.) The place is a bit crammed but the folks over there are a friendly bunch and you wouldn't take much time to join the bandwagon. They could have worked on the decor and
furniture but I am not complaining.
A hangout joint for youngsters its just on the parallel road to mg road a place to have Samosa's veg non veg both different variety of samosa not the Punjabi samosa though do try their milk chai and sulemani....
Hands down winner for the best Samosa's in Pune. Still to find a place that serves as yummy chicken and veg samosa. Its always been that way, mahanaaz is synonymous with its delicious samosas.ย
The chai was refreshing as heaven! Lovely awakening taste to it!
Go for the chai and samosas. Much worth it!

+4.5
Well to begin with... The piping hot samosas are a all time favourite dish especially when combined with the Irani Chai.
Always missed the chance to relish on non veg samosa. But it gets over soo fast.
Still the veg samosa are a thumbs up.
Yet another Irani cafe off MG road. This place also serves good bun maska and omelettes. Their meat filled samosas are the real deal though. Their veg samosas are quite good too.
The chai here is once again the winner.
Best Iranian restaurants for bun butter tea. There's types of restaurants are now rarities. Enjoy whole u can.
One of the old and clasic Irani restaurants. We went there after seeing all the positive reviews.
Things we ordered:
1. Kheema Pav
2.Chicken and veg samosa
3.irani chai
4.bun maska
The chicken kheema was tasty and had quite a lot of chicken which othrs restaurants in the same area lack and also justified its price.
Both the samosas were tasty ๐
Chai was good too classic irani chai.
Bun was fresh and they use amul butter so it had to be tasty too.
The only complain or suggestions i have is the lack of family room as i went with my family.
Classic Irani Restaurant..
This is one of the oldest quick bite option located in Camp area,Pune.
We tried Chicken Samosa ,Irani Chai and Bun Maska. Awesome taste๐๐
Kheema Pav is also available here in Rs 120/-
You can try veg options as well. like Veg Samosa with Irani Chai & famous Bun Maska..
Ambiance is average. Place is small.
Family Seating available. Service is quick. ๐
Restaurant parking is not available however you can park your vehicle on the street Side parking.
Overall loved crispy tasty Chicken Samosa . Irani Chai & Bun Maska .. Highly recommended ๐
Must visit for a Tea Lover.๐
A great restaurant for a quick bite. Great value for money.
The tea, chicken samosa, chicken keema is a must have here. Even the scrambled egg and omelette is awesome.
The pav that they serve here is so so toft and fresh.
The service fast and good. You get your order in less than 5min.
The only problem is parking, so best is to come by 2wheeler or park elsewhere and walk here.
You can say that this is a great place as they have customers coming in always.
This is much better than so many other restaurants in the area. You will surely walk out of this place satisfied.
A hidden gem at MG Road Pune that's right opposite the famous Marz-O-Rin, in a bylane behind Budhani. Delicious Bun-maska-chai.. The prefect treat after hours of shopping
Average ambience...
Family seating available...
Nice irani chai....awesome veg n nonveg samosas...with bun maska...yummmmmmy......can have many other snacks.....
Must visit for a tea lover
I Love Samosa~ tea.
Will always visit when I am in Pune.
Since from 1990 to 2000 I was in pune. I love the samosas let it be veg or non veg.. It was so crispy and yummy that i visited there thrice a week only for samosas and Iranian tea.
All items are fresh & testy
great management
Good, typical old school Irani hotel, nice tea and bun maska and food is okay, but one should try the Samosa which are good, can't be too sure about the hygeine though as kitchen is not visible.
Wanted to go here for many days. Finally made it last weekend... as always its awesome. On your way back, you cannot resist buying chips from budhani wafers. The original shop on MG road
Average Ambience.
Bun - Maska a must try.
Nice place for good tea and samosas, veg as well as not veg. Of course place is not a chick one but you can certainly visit along with your family as they have family room on 1st floor.
This place is famous for Samosas, Bun Maska and Irani Chai. This restaurant used to be on the opposite side of arora towers some years ago but now they have shifted.
Now lets talk about the food. Being a vegetarian, I only tried their veg samosas. The samosas are extremely oily and the crust is little bit different but the stuffing is tasty and it is the only reason why their samosas are so famous. Their irani chai and bun maska are as good as other restaurants in the neighborhood like diamond bakery.
They serve 6 samosas in a plate but you will be charged only for those which you have eaten and rest of the samosas will be taken back.
Most of the time place is full and you might have to wait for 5-10 mins to find yourself a table as their seating is very limited, although food is served within minutes. As far as I know they only accept cash.
