Visited with friend for quick bite and order mix veg partha and chole bhature, chole was good but bhature was like puri, mix veg parthe was excellent.. over all its value for money place..
Its an amazing place with a wide range of parthas. Amazing taste. Especially aloo and paneer paratha. Quite reasonable with great quantity. Its a must try place for all foodies
First impression was that the place is so small and congested, but I went ahead, ordered dal makhni with laccha Parantha, it was so awesome!! The place is so pocket friendly, One can even go and eat here daily. The food is very reminding of home, I'd love to see them grow into a big restaurant!
One of the best place to have Punjabi food especially Paratha. Pocket friendly. Place is small and congested. And best part is they delivere food at ur doorstep within 30-40 min.
Wow! full 5/5 rating ! After scouting round and thinking what to eat at 11 pm , it just struck to me that this place in our close vicinity would be good , however was skeptical whether it would be operating at 23:00 + hours. Fortunately they were still serving and we got in at the niche of time. I was very keen to try dal Makhani so ordered , 'Dal Makhani and Chawal ' . To add to it was paneer parantha.
Our hunger pangs grew as we could smell the fabulous aroma.
Dal makhani was the stealer . Authentic , buttery and smooth. Classic it was . First bite and I thought I am in Punjab eating authentic punjabi food.
Paranthas were piping hot served with a nice dollop of makkhan and dahi and salad.
Phew plain and simple crumbled paneer, onion and green chillies, roasted to perfection. And yes it was a healthy wheat parantha. Very glad with the last minute choice and fortunately this place is in close vicinity of house , so I can go more often to try other delicacies here!
Onion cheese garlic paratha with dal makhani and veg patiala topped up with patiala lassi and kheer..make up for a scrumptious punjabi food.
Love to serve, punjabi hospitality, fun loving tegpal as host, right in heart of Pune, right on pocket !!!
Eat once and you will die to go again!!

Was passing through rasta peth, where i saw this new food joint, "Jassi da Parantha". Tried the food and to my surprise it was some great Punjabi paranthas i had till date. The staff is super friendly, they recommended me veg patiala along with laccha parantha and paneer tikka and paneer pahafi kebab. Note, i am reconnecting these dishes, a must try. My wife n me, loved the food. We will be returning with our family for more :).
This has to be one of d best places to curb your appetite for PARATHAS, the variety is vast and the service is fast. The hospitality of d people working there is excellent.
I've been to Jassi Da Paratha 6 times over the last month, in a sense I've spent 1 week here having dinner, and I wonder why I didn't go 30 days, maybe because I had exams and then went back home! Staying away from home, makes you yearn for home food, and this is the Epitome of Punjabi Home Made Food! It's thick Dal Makhani, it's Humongous Paratha size, the options this place offers is really appetizing! It reminds me of the food my mum makes and, hopefully if she doesn't read this, even better! Want to fill a grumbling stomach with a value for money meal, reach here next to Apollo theatre, ask the manager what to eat, gulp it down with lassi and gavat halwa, you'll soon be eating all your meals here! Kudos!
A very cozy outlet serving some best parathas in pune @ a very affordable price.
The manager their is very polite and helpful helping you out with his special dishes everytime you visit.
Gives a glimpse of Punjabi food in Maharashtra.
Must taste is aloo cheeze paratha thali and paneer mushrum parathas with gazar ka halwa and sum your meal up with a patiayala lassi.
Jassi da Paratha is one of my cherished restaurants in Pune.To begin with, its small place located just behind Apollo theatre. I would go on to say that it serves the most authentic Punjabi style parathas in Pune(and yes I have been to the other 'famous' paratha places).I had ordered Aloo Cheese mix and Pander mushroom Parathas. Both of them we hot, tasty and extremely delicious. The Paratha thali comes with two Parathas,Chole and Dal Makhni which were the best I have had till date in Pune.Parathas are served with a generous amount of 'Makkhan' giving a Punjabi feel.I tasted the Gajar Halwa and feerni as deserts. Both of them were good and had me wanting for more. And finally came the Lassi, which was better than the famous Lassi vendors nearby.Overall I had a wonderful experience as far as the food taste, quality, service and cost effectiveness was concerned which made me go there 3 days in a row.And I wasn't disappointed. To summarize,if you love Parathas, this is THE place to go.
Amazing finger licking food. The parantha thali is very tasty and filling. Anyone visiting here must try the gajar ka halwa..... it was like the cherry on the cake. I will definitely recommend this place. A must visit!
Awesome food
Minimum price
Maximum Punjabi paratha
Loved it Too Much
Worth to Eat if you are going Dagdu Ganpati.
It would have been Top Paratha Destination if would have been on East Street
