Had ordered Mango Mastani.
I was completely blown away the taste of it.
The taste was smooth and soothing. The consistency was also good.
Service is super quick. The rates are reasonable
I would definitely recommend this to all the sweet tooths out there.
I came to hear about "Mastani" for the first time when i came to pune. One of my acquaintances introduced this outlet to me and since then the saga has been going on.
The summer special "Mango Milkshake" and the seasonal "Sitafal Mastani". OMG: its just so tempting ...........
We tried the Kesar mastaani, Rose mastani and butterscotch ice cream. The mastanis were totally different and tasted thick and were delicious. The ice cream also tasted new and the quantity was great. The staff are not very interested in serving the customers. Or else totally loved this place
This is one of the best place to have desserts in Pune. They have a good taste and quantity is also good. They have a good range of variety in flavours. The seasonal items are very excellent. The staff is very friendly.
I don't think it really needs a description. the most famous mastani in Pune and Rightly so. It's been around for ages now and the taste everytime is the same and mesmerising.

I have never had any other mastani other than Mango mastani cause it itself is so gratifying that you don't feel the need to try anything new or different.
It is like thick creamy chilled mango milk shake with a scoop of mango ice cream - perfect👌 combination and Sujata Mastani has been doing a great job when it comes to quality control and product quality 😊

Whenever its Mastani it is Deepika Padukone's Bajirao-Mastani role or the Pune's pride drink.
Alright this is one of the best and highly recommend place in Pune to satiate Mastani carving, quality and quantity has always been good whenever I have visited this outlet.
I would highly recommend Mango mastani, kesar pista pastani and chocolate mastani.
Mango mastani should be tasted at least once.

I ordered for Mango milkshake and dry fruits milkshake . Both were yum. I drank this after after 5 years and I loved it. Must try for all the stoners 😂😉
It is some delicious combination of milk and ice-cream with a huge amount of other mouth-watering garnishes. The Pune special mastani comes loaded with dry fruits and Kesar. You can try the variety of flavors which include nuts, cherry, whipped cream, chocolate, Kesar and more. One glass of this inviting drink will make you feel so full that you won’t be eating anything anytime soon! We tried mango mastani which I fell in love with💕

Right in the center of the road, it is one of the many outlets of Sujata Mastani in Pune. As a first time visitor to Pune, I had to try it out. Chocolate Special Mastani is what I ordered, and even though it was delicious, wasn't anything out of the world. Nice flavours, though it can be bettered using some toppings considering the amount they charge for it.
One of the best shakes I've ever had! Oh sorry, not shake; 'Mastani'! Ordered Mango, Sitafal and Butterscotch Mastani. All were great but Mango was exceptional! The taste, thickness, consistency is really good. Must try if in Pune.
No doubt its best for mastani but do give this black grape icecream a try. You will definitely love.

Just found this place to be a bit over hyped. The quantity is really less and I feel the quality has degraded over the years.We ordered one Mango Mastani and one Rose Mastani. Mango one was still good but did not like the rose one so much. There are better places around for Mastani I feel. Ended up paying Rs.120 for this.
I went here for having mastani but ended up having ice cream scoops. We took Orange, Mango and Butter Scotch flavour. I Just liked Mango and orange flavor which had a unique taste. The place has 7-8 chairs where you can Sit and have or take away but I liked their Ice cream quality.
This is the most famous chain for mastani in pune.... Just love their mastani.... Mango mastani is a must try here... U can also order sitaphal mastani.... A must stop If u are new or on tour of pune...

Mango Mastani is what I had on a rain soaked day. Probably not the best of days to have such a drink 😀 It was quite thick. Enjoyed it a lot!

Ordered Mango Mastani, considering the recommendations and it was definitely delicious. A very innovative idea, to club ice-cream with milk-shake. They top it up with dry fruits. However, the price demanded is too high, I felt for the small glass of mastani

Tried Mango Kesar Dry fruit. It had Mango pulp juice with a scoup of ice cream and dryfruit toppings.... Nice taste. Also tried Mango mastani, has the same thick Mango shake. Affordable prices. Open to sky ambience ;) Service was prompt.

Mastani is the name for combination of ice cream and flavored milk. It was good. It was thick with just the right amount of sweetness. Good cooler to have this summer.
Its very different and mouthwatering. As they say, mastani is not an ice cream. We tried mango, pista, strawberry and dry fruit mastanis. All were good. Go for large cup as there is little difference in prices of small and large.

Beat the summer heat with a classic Mango Mastani here. One of the best places to have its signature dish Mastani (Ice cream + milkshake). Available in many flavours my personal favorite is mango followed by butterscotch and pista. It's popularity easily verifiable from the throngs outside in the evening.
Place needs to be bigger .. I feel like not eating there bt get parcel for home ..

Mastani is the perfect name for the kind of milkshakes you get at Sujata, so famous is this brand that mastani has become synonymous with Sujata.
Though this outlet doesn't have as many varieties as the sadashiv peth counterpart, but the quality and taste is much the same.

Having a variety of flavors, this place offers ice cream, mastani and faloodas. Choosing from two sizes, it is very delightful once it enters your mouth and goes in the stomach. Personally I love the rose and mango mastani. It is delicious.
And the service is also very good. Fast and efficient. Overall a joyous experience everytime:).

Undoubtedly sujata mastani is the best place to have mastani in Pune! Their flavours are so natural you feel like you are eating the actual fruit. Mango mastani is my all time favourite and it gives the feel of summer anytime I visit! The seating place at this outlet is quite less but anything for sujata mastani ;)
New on zomato.... First review ... Mastani was up to the mark... Limited varieties of mastani .... They should offer many more variety. As compare to Hyderabad it's poor. But overall liked it.
Mastani is basically delicious Ice Cream along with Thick Shake of the same flavour. Their best selling item is Sitaphal (Custard Apple) Mastani made from real pulp and is available only at a particular season.
After reading so much reviews about sujatha mastani, we have decided to have in east street branch. It's a small shop with good maintainence. We chosed custard apple and kesar mango flavour. One must have custard apple flavour mastani here,it was a awesome to the core however the kesar mango flavour was not that great. Happy that I never missed having mastani during first visit to pune.. CUSTARD APPLE MASTANI - Still lingers in my tongue...

Mastani - the name is interesting enough. But in spite of all that I had heard so far I had never tried the Mastani. Finally, decided to go for it. Mango and Sithaphal which are probably the best were the ones I tried. The experience was awesome, except that the dessert is overloaded with sugar as far as I am concerned. A little less sweet will make it truly heavenly. As regards the outlet - well it is the street that decides the ambiance.

I had 2 Mastani... 1 followed by other Back to back.
1.Mango mastani was awesome. There was not feeling of usage of flavour. I am sure it is made of flavour, but the right proportion of usage makes it perfect.
2. Butterscotch with Dry fruits. It was not as great as Mango Mastani. But not bad either.Even the Vendor claims and feels proud that his Mango Mastanis are famous ;)
Only demerit is there is not much place to sit and eat here. Please add more chairs :)

Located at East Street, a place known for its legendary food joints and buildings of strategic importance. This outlet is quite a small one, infact so small and crumpled that foodies prefer to stand outside n chat over a "mastani". Having heard so much about it, I really wanted to try some of its iconic variants. I went for " kesar mango dry fruit" which, as the name suggets, is an unique amalgamation of thick mango shake with strong kesar essence. For the dryfruit part, they put in a generous number of cashews, pistas and anjeer which is already ready in the form of packets and the person empties the entire packet into ur cup. The taste was good just that the shake was over- sweet which might sweeten ur entire food pipe. One small cup is sufficient for one-go though a bigger size is available. All in all, "mastaanis" are a delightful answer to the conventional frozen desserts and this place gives u a lot of reasons to believe so..
Sujata Mastan8 here on east street serve a marvellous Buttet Scotch Mastani, Which contains thick and beautifully frozen Butter scotch ice cream with dry fruits in a Portable glass container. I also tried their Mango ice cream and then Mango Mastaanee... Wow. What elseone needs in these tough summer days.ngo flavour is awesome, It actually tastes alfanso... Moreover, My Wifi, Took Orange mastani which she exchanged with me after a few slurpps... I liked the Orange mastani even more as, It had orange zest and pieces in it.

This is a small shop located in the start of E street close to burger king . They serve the best mastanis I have ever eaten . Had never heard of a mastani before trying this place out a few years back but since then been a ardent fan . so for the uninitiated a mastani is basically a thick milkshake with dry fruits etc and a scoop of ice cream .
The must try at the place is the sitafal mastani which is available is season but is pretty kickass . Ever the mango mastani and pineapple aren't bad.
They have 2 sizes for the mastani and the bigger one costs approx 70 odd bucks.
A must try if u have never eaten mastanis before

Since a week Sujata Mastani was in lime light on Zomato as many of my fellow foodies were sharing their experiences and love for Mastani they have !!
So after reading so many good things about the Mastani they serve, i couldn't stop my sweet tooth craving, and reached the nearest outlet to explore (after many years) this place again !!
Well .. Sadashiv peth is the main outlet, but while roaming camp i saw this joint and i stop immediately to try this place out, you have to be very careful to find this place as the board is not solid visible, it is little faded !!
This outlet is very small (like a ice cream parlor should be), two - three chairs kept outside for the patrons. It was weekend i visited here and many families and youngsters were enjoying their ice creams, shakes and mastani.
Menu is big, you will get many variety to have, in ice cream many common flavors available like butter scotch, Pista, Kesar, Orange and many more, but my eyes were on mastani more then ice cream.
Mastani is not an ice cream actually its not only ice cream but a mix of milk shake and ice cream both, so combination of both is called Mastani, as it is 'Pune ki shaan' I wanted to have other flavors too so i ordered
The famous MANGO MASTANI is must to order, (i am not a big mango fan), since its famous for this so i had one for my self, a full glass of Mango Shake (it was more like mango juice), and a scoop of Fresh mango ice cream, when i had it together .. i liked it !! it was really splendid, creamy and mind blowing (if a not that mango fan likes it that means it is good) superb in taste, loved it !!
After this some thing different i tried SPECIAL PISTA MASTANI, the preparation was similar as mango mastani, full glass of pista flavored milk and a scoop of pista ice cream and crushed pista on the top !! i liked it too, it was heavy and again creamy in taste !! Could have been much more better if the pista flavored milk was more thick.
In seasonal flavors they have strawberry and sitaphal, i had to try their FRESH STRAWBERRY MASTANI, in this along with ice cream and shake fresh cut strawberry was garnished on the top, i did not like it much as i have had better then this, the ice cream and shake was freshly made but that punch was missing somewhere, could have been better !!
I also wanted to try their fresh ice creams (their own preparations) so i tried fresh black grapes, i did not like it much, it was fresh and creamy but the taste was not up to the mark or i should say not what i was expecting !!
Final verdict - Well.. Sujata mastani is mostly famous for the mango mastani they have, It is refreshing, and no doubt something different but other flavors are not that up to the mark.
Will i visit again - off course yes... but only to have their MANGO MASTANI !! :-)

For all those who do not know what a mastani is - it is a combination of the an ice cream scoop and its molten form. for example. pista icecream + pista ice cream melted in a cup = mastani.
Ambiance - 2/5. its really an ice cream joint so post this i am going to stop the ambiance part for all ice cream joints unless worth mentioning.
Service - 4/5, quick and helpful enough to explain what a mastani is.
Taste - 4.5/5, I am not a sweet or ice cream lover but i do visit such places from time to time. The mastani was fantastic, i had khus - pista mastani and it was the best ice cream i have ever had. loved it.
Cost - 4.5/5 very very reasonable and cheap. That should sum it up. i paid Rs 50 for the above and i was not disappointed.

Oh yeah !!! I am going to come back and recommend this again.
