Chocolate brownie was not available which was a turnoff
Visited this restaurant with my company colleagues. It was a good experience. All of the colleagues given good feedback. Experienced Paneer Tikka Masala(it wasn't too spicy which I usually prefer with sufficient quantity), Dal Makhni was superb. Roti is also good. The only negative point my colleagues felt is their service was not too quick. The wait time could be reduced especially when there were not many people for dine out.
The Great Punjab, A prominent place for punjabi cuisine in KP.
If you are looking for authentic north Indian food, the you must visit Punjab grill. The Ambience is lavish and the staff is welcoming.
This place is mostly visited by families.
The menu has wide range of whiskeys, vodkas, You name it and they have it. I have never seen such a huge range of single malts even in a 5 star hotel. Impressed!!
Everything I tried reminded me of my trips to Delhi. although the portion of starters and main course is a lil less but manageable.
The service was decent but they were not able to manage well ince it is crowded. Also we ordered the Dal makhani which was not served as it went to some other table.
Overall if the service part is ignored all went well. Food quality, taste, ambience, menu everything was very good.
We have been there for team lunch and I found it perfect location for Punjabi style food. Big masala Papad is unique. Nonveg dishes were rightly prepared and starters too.
Lassi is another attraction.
Good ambience, great and fast service, family place, food customised to taste, totally hygienic.
Have valet parking, polite staff, must visit
Great place. Went there for Saturday night dinner. Even though it was bit crowded the service was beyond exceptional. Very prompt and attentive.
Food was great and they customised it to our liking. Wonderful!!
It is family place with light music n calm theme. It is a kind of place where you can have a conversation over your meal without shouting!!
Overall wonderful experience!
Great food, great service, good and very attentive staff. I have been going here since 2012 and I am happy to say, nothing changed. They make amazing food and the staff is also courteous and attentive. I like their chana masala chaas lassi onion kulcha and and starters in non veg.
Nice place to try authentic Indian food. There dal makhani is to die for. Too creamy and exactly the way it should be. If I am not wrong they make it in gheeand thatโs really great
Awesome place. Nice food ! Dal makhani was really nice. Waiters were professional and helpful. Really nice ambience. A must try for everyone.
Great food, great staff , great service. Everything is great at this place, highly recommended for Punjabi food lovers and for everyone who like good food. Everyones favourite Dal makhani is great here.
Very nice food. Quality food. Had such a nice food in along time. The service was awesome. Proper and authentic punjabi food in Pune can be found here.
Great food and great ambience. Staff is very polite and they suggested the kadak roomali roti for starters. Balti Meat is a very good dish and a must try. A great variety in kebabs as well, and the main course isn't of the same gravy different name sorts. 5/5.

Nice place to have a family feast. Slightly overpriced but tasty. Ambience is good.. adding jalfrezi dishes to veg menu shall make it more better.
Greetings from Goa,
Good quality food and service..highly recommended
Prices are okay...balanced
Gud place for dinner and lunch.
Enjoy your meal.
Its great place for good north indian food. Tue black dal makhni is just perfect as is the kadak roomali starter... I like it with the masala on the side. A better option to papad. Mushroom starter is also good. We ordered the dal and paneer makhni for food. Both were good. The garlic nan, laccha paratha and tandoori roti are all good.
Over all a place where u are sure to find good food and service with a smile.
The great Punjab!! Really good . Been here twice and had fulfilling experience. A veggie, I enjoyed the food much more the second time than first! Mirchi ka salan must try.. rotis are too soft; paneer softer; only not so exciting thing is the dessert menu! But I donโt mind ..
The Great Punjab- the great punch!
#42. I have visited this place once with my family for dinner. It was long time back approximately 3-4 years ago can't remember what we ordered but I do remember after having our having our dinner we noticed a big papad being ordered by customer's so we ordered and had that large masala papad (I don't know what it is called). My experience was good. And I loved their food.
Nice place. Very clean and upmarket. Prices are definitely on the higher side. But food is worth. Plz increase your selection of strong beer. Staff is amazing.
One suggestion kindly don't stand too near to the dinners.
It spooks them out.
When they say Punjabi it is legitimately Punjabi.
Love the place. Perfect for family and formal lunch n dinners with office seniors.
Note - play good music plz !!
Valet parking available.
Nice ambience and a quiet place.
Good quality food starting from Kadak Rumali roti, cream of mushroom soup, starters, bhendi fry, Kadai paneer and tadka dal methi.
The starters need a bit improvising on the masala.
Just been there yesterday around 11ish. The food is gr8. Ambience is nice. Will visit again. However, they are not a zomato gold partner so missed out on some good offers. Will surely visit again
Food was tasty and staff was also friendly. Ambience was good too. The paneer there is amazing. Centrally located in koregoan park

Thumps up to The Great Punjab.

Good authentic North Indian Food. the restaurant is located in the lanes of KP with hustle bustle everywhere. The ambiance is good, staff is nice and alert. The food is really good. One of the very good options for North Indian Cuisines in Pune.
The ambience is good, food is decent. We ordered for Kadhai paneer, special Rumali papad, yellow dal, Kulfi and rice.
The show stopper was the huge rumali papad. Crunchy, delicious and well spiced.
The place is good if you want to North Indian food.

After a tiring day, we (I and my friend) super hungry decided to have lunch at The Great Punjab restaurant.
Honestly we were not sure of our decision but after all bhooke pet ka sawal hai na..
We entered the restaurant and first impression was good.. Lovely ambience , spacious, nice seating arrangement, relaxed atmosphere.. The staff is really good, they gave us a warm welcome and they were very cooperative till the time we left the place.
Coming to food, we ordered mandatory dish, masala papad, Chicken peshawari and Roti and to beat the heat we had chaas (buttermilk)
Masala papad was the best I ever had till date. Garnished with onions tomatoes coriander chat masala salt red chilli powder, had a unique taste. ๐
Chicken peshawari is a north Indian style cuisine. Perfectly marinated boneless chicken pieces with a nice spicy gravy. ๐๐๐๐
Rotis were nice soft and hot, went well with the chicken gravy.
Finally to sum up our heavy lunch we had masala chaas. Very refreshing.
All in all a wonderful experience.
A great place to satisfy your cravings for north indian food. Get the best dal makhani and butter chicken here. Slow service but amazing food.
My 8 year old swears by the butter chicken and can have it everyday day. The decor is a little old from the 80s but neat tidy and warm. The service, a tenner...oldies from probably when they took off give a touch of ' we care' - courteous, alert and caring. The wine collection is good with a great variety of Malts. Food, just close your eyes and pick anything...you will be surprised. My recommendation- brain masala, fish rahra, tawa mutton, dal tadka, Sarson ka saag, aloo Gobhi...phirni and gulab jamun. Awesome...
Very good punjabi authentic food ....must try the aloo chesse tikki ....corn seekh kabab....lassi ....very good family restaurant...good collection of wines too ....
If you want to try Punjabi food The Great Punjab is ultimate place , karari roti is must try .. overall excellent service and great food. There ambiance defines a casual Dining in a fine dining way. Staff is good and quality of food is great.
The Great Punjab
This place is located in Koregaon Park. Nice ambiance. Had been there with my family. My Family members were some vegetarian and Non-vegetarian .
We ordered kadak Rumali (Papad), Bhendi fry Masala, Butter Chicken, Prawns koliwada, Roti + Nan, Chicken Biryani, Steamed Rice, Dal Makhani.ย
Bhendi fry was awesome but other food quality disappointed me.
Staff was courteous and service was good and
they have valet parking.
Located at one of the best streets in Pune, superb ambience and amazing food. There is no loud music so you can enjoy a nice conversation with your partner while having a delicious meal. Must try it.
Don't miss the Dal Makhani. Its one of the best that I have had in recent times in Pune. Ambience too is good. Do try Dal Makhani ๐๐๐๐๐๐
great food.
good abience.
courteous attendants.
a bit costly on the wallet.. but worth it.
would definitely go again if someone else is paying the bills :-)
The Great Punjab is one of the closest to authentic Punjabi food you can get in Pune. Although the prices being on the expensive side, the service and the food quality make it up for a nice and special evening. Must visit for the sarso ka saga and the mutton dishes.
Very active service staff .

As a wanderer, came down for some lip smacking food as we were dead hungry, checked in for some good food.
Ambience I'd give a rating of 4, with good table wines as option to grind n drool d meal.... Thus ordered for chilly mushroom as a starter, quantity was sufficient n more of it, taste was well to give justice to the mushrooms..
Main course was to be given, as we ordered for paneer peshawari, spicy as the server mentioned, but came out to b tangy, but as for the taste of the dish, it was well done.... So no regrets ordering for it... Sure be there for the next time to witness some more of the Punjab style food...
Great Punjab is one of the best places for North Indian cuisine
Almost all the dishes on their menu are good but I personally love their bhendi masala n romali papad ,green chutney n butter chicken masala
Food 4/5

As the review suggests, wanted to have a quick eat in Koregaon Park for lunch and would you know I stopped by a restaurant which I had visited way back in 2013.
Ordered the following:
Chicken tikka and butter garlic naan
Simple dish but filled with multi flavours, juicy and tender
Service was great and quick inspite of the rush hour traffic at the restaurant.
A pricey affair but well worth visiting again and again.
And estimated amount of around INR 2000.00 to INR 2500.00 May be expected for 2 people.
No reason why I shouldnโt rate this restaurant 5. Coz what we ordered worked out very good. What I mean is the food is very good, ambience is good, staff courteous and service good as well. I had a dish for which I will be visiting here again. So, the recommendation is Chicken Karela Kabab. Donโt miss this!

Want some really delicious indian food then this is the place in kp.
Large layout with good ambience. Quick and friendly service. Good menu options for both veg and n-veg. Food quality is also very good with ample portion sizes. Nice place for outing with both family and friends.
Been at this place after almost 5years..
But just the way it was back then. AWESOME!!
the Food, the service, the hospitality. All goes well. I am fan of the Rumali Masala Papad as it goes well with Beer. โบ๏ธ
Came here later on the evening and the place was still packed! I got the tandoori platter and it it was delicious. I will admit that the prices are a little high, but you get a lot of food. The only downside is that we had to wait so long for our food, but isn't that just indication of a great place?
Amazing food and ambience. Right in the heart of the city. Service is really good. The Chura paratha is must have. Good punjabi music really cheers you up. A good place to be with family and friends.
Nice authentic food. A little on the expensive side of the wallet but the food taste makes up for that. If the food tastes amazing then price is apt.
The ambience is is 3.5 on 5 and the service is good. The staff is friendly and well informed and I loved the fact that if they do not know the exact content of any dish they accept the fact and inquire the chef about same and let you know. No guess work.
The Great Punjab in it's true sense is a place to cherish some awesome kebabs and true Punjabi dishes. I would recommend the place as a fine dine family restaurant serving the best North Indian cuisine in koregaon park. Mushroom lazzez is one unique dish I had which is a must try. It's a good place to have project parties, birthday's and occasional dinner. Cheers!
One of the best north Indian food I ever had in pune with perfect ambience and great staff support to help u out.... perfect food in there to tingle n mingle ur taste buds to ecstasy... should visit atleast once ... though costly...
A surprise visit. Unexpectedly crossed the road and decided to dine here.
I would have to say this is the best Punjabi / North Indian Restaurant I have dined at in Pune, perhaps ever.
Ordered the Rogan Josh and Makki Ki Roti. Couldn't have been more satisfied. The flavours were so pure and so clean.
Service was beyond friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this place.
I was told, if you want to enjoy genuine north indian food, this is the place to be. So I reached here with high expectations.
Starter kebabs were good, even seafood preparations were good. Prawns Koliwada was exceptional. Tandoor platter, fish tikka and even soups were good. Mains were prepared well too. Bhuna chicken, mutton rogan josh, chicken handi, etc. were made as they should be. It's promising when everything tastes good in spite of high expectations.
None of the dishes disappoint, taste-wise. But portions could be bigger. Portion is what makes this place appear expensive. Bill was pretty high for our appetite
Other than that ambience is fine with spacious and comfortable seating. Service is good too- prompt and welcoming.
Overall, a good place to enjoy North Indian food, only with some extra bucks to spare.
Just a decent place for you when it comes to North Indian Cuisine. Been here twice with friends and found the good quality just average on both visits. The servers are quick with the service and the pricing is reasonable as well.
Name itself describes it's values.
Place with class and quality and Taste.
Service was good.
Decent place with best ambience.
Must go place who loves Punjabi food.
As the name says.. the place is great for an Indian specially North Indian cuisine! The ambience of the place is nice and sophisticated! Great option to dine with family n friends for a perfect non vegetarian and vegetarian Punjabi dishes!! The chicken and prawns of the place is must have!
PURE PUNJABI...๐ฝ๐ถ๐พ
We went here to celebrate my dad's birthday! They have the best bar!!! We gifted him a glenmorangie 18 (glass). The service is really good as they interact with you about your preferences and suggest you dishes suitable to your palette.
Chicken angara- yum, spiced, tender, grilled chicken kebabs served with green chutney.they absolutely melt in your mouth.
Great Punjab stands up to the name. Superb tasty food. Expensive, but its worth the fine dine they offer here. Chicken/mutton kheema with rumali roti, Chicken biryani and mirchi ka salan are some of the delicacies I tried and recommend!
Awesome quality of food.
Tasty, lip smacking food. Loved the way they blend the spices.
The quantity and quality is amazing.
The prices are little high, but quality can't be compared.

Punjab is blessed with 3 things- Generous hearts, generous appetite and generous sizes.
The Great Punjab made me experience that. The decision to dine here was more like an "Eenie meenie miny mo" situation, what with Koregaon Park offering so much to think about.
The ambiance of this place is good enough, well lit, clean and spacious, and the service is courteous and efficient.
We ordered a round of drinks (non-alcoholic), although they do serve some pretty vintage wines too. Tucked in with gusto as we tried two specific things, the mutton Kadhai, taste is to die for and the chicken biryani which was also amazing. Both served the purpose and lived upto the punjabi palate.
The pricing could be more cost effective as well as value for money at the same time.
Overall, it doesn't hurt to splurge once in a while. Do try mutton Kadhai though...:)
Had been there with good family friends perfectly complimented with good food. We had andraki chicken, good flavours. Chicken handi in main course was also lip smacking. However we were a bit disappointed with aloo mutter..But over all a good experience. Good Service and friendly staff.
