Humble place serving fantastic chat and other popular north Indian snacks with taste that reminded me Delhi (…chandni chowk)!!!.
What makes it different.
* Garam masala used.
* Chutnies and chat masala.
* Specific type of raw material used.
* No extra spices (Chilli to be specific) but only what is needed ...

Dilli chaatt darbar was on my list from quite long and finally I visited the place but my overall experience was OK ok. I tried pani puri which were okish. After that we tasted chole tikki that was good with crispy tikki and lastly we ordered chole bhature which was served with pickle. We liked that pickle and chole bhature was ok ok as bhature were very thick. overall ok ok experience.

A small and cosy outlet located near Khadki, this place serves some of the best chaats. To begin with, we had ordered Raj Kachori, Dahi Wada,Bhel and two other dishes. They were quite upto the mark. We followed it up with their Pav Bhaji, which was okayish and their Chole Bhature. The Chole Bhature was served in adequate amounts and was delicious. A suggested place,if you are looking for a quick snack.

Ok... Relished Jitin's Sarso da saag and makki di roti. Roti straight from the girdle to plate.. soft and comforting.. saag tasted unique!!

We ordered cholle bhature too.. unlike what it is served elsewhere it was authentic delhi style blackened soft chole pefectly cooked and spiced. We relished it all along with some gol gappa chaat.

Pet full tha par dil kahaa?? Bass phir kya.. got gajar ka halwa packed to have it at home. Actually craved to have jalebi with rabdi packed.. but Jitin insisted on gajar ka halwa.. and I must say u made my day. The generous use of khoya in and above, the melt in mouth halwa made it a straight hit.

Again, had a nice conversation with Jitin on how cholle's are cooked and how the sarso ka saag.

The love for chaat takes you to this place everytime you crave for it. Dili chaat rightly said brings it to pune. The authentic chaat place you can come everytime you want to have chaat.
From its sev puri, dilli special aloo Tikki to punjab da makke di roti sarson ka saag cannot be missed.

The owner Jitin Ahuja the courteous man will come to you and would say batao kya khaoge, will gently ask his customers.

This place is small but too clean and hygienic, from It’s kitchen to its chaat stall is just clean n it’s a feel good factor that makes you go this place.

Must try in this winter season is makke di roti and sarson ka saag. Don’t give a miss as its a hit.

Cleanliness 5/5
Food 5/5
Service 5/5
Ambience : chaat place hai do we really need it if it’s clean and hygienic

#DCD #2018BecameHappyAlready #LongPostAlert

As they say 'jo jab hona hota hai tab hota hai, aur jo jab hota hai acha hota hai'; 2 years in Pune, 2000 posts about this place on various food forums & 2 Million thoughts about going there, nothing could make it happen. New year, Day 1, 1 thought, just 1 call & it all fell in place. Yes, Yes, Yes I finally visited DCD, and now I actually realise what I have been missing till now. This makes me believe, the stars are going to be in my favour this year

A bear hug from Jitin & a warm welcome made us feel completely at home or at Delhi, for that matter. Given the fact that people were just recovering from their night long revellery, there was not much of a rush that evening so the table was set for Bhukkad Party immediately. I was so bloody eager to get the 'Dilliwala Taste' that I just about told the server to get one dish each for all the menu listings, but wifey sobered me down & some sanity prevailed. Why some ? Coz' I still managed to order Sarson Ka Saag with Makke ki Roti, Gol Gappe, Chhole Tikki, Keema Cheese Kulcha, Paneer Kulcha, Dahi Bhalla & how could I have missed ordering Chhole Bhature at one go, Whewwww, just all these to start.

Well, the good times started rolling almost immediately, Gol Gappe arrived & vanished in no time, spicy heeng jaljeera, pudina ka paani, meethi chutney & hulk size Gol Gappe waaah, By God Central Market yaad aa gaya... Next was Keema Cheese Kulcha, this one was the best of the lot for the night, spicy Soya Keema stuffed between two delhi styled Kulchas n toasted to perfection, grated cheese on top, ahhhh orgasmic stuff... Paneer kulcha came next & also the SKS with MKR made its grand entry to the table. Kulcha was indeed a treat for Paneer lovers, loads of Paneer Bhurji stuffed between Kulchas, just too good, specially with onions & green chutney on side. Well what do I say about SKS with MKR, butter on top, Gud on side, feeling saag's creamy texture, buttery taste, could only murmur with eyes closed, 'Jitin Praji da Jawaab Nahin', loved it so ordered two more portions instantly. Chhole Tikki & Dahi Bhalla came next, both of them as good as you get them at Natraj, Chandni Chowk or Shahi at Sarojini Stop, outstanding to say the least. Next in turn were the fluffy Bhaturas coupled with yummy Chhole, the best of the best of what I have had in Pune.

Stuffed till throat, I was already regretting hogging so much so that there was no space left for the Delhi style Kulfi Falooda, plain rich stuff, no sabja or rooh afza or any fillers and the world famous in Pune 'Gulab Jaamuns'. But I wasn't giving up as yet, some 8 - 10 rounds of stairs from Mezanine floor to the ground & I was up again for some more gluttony, yeah, had Kulfi Falooda & Gulab Jaamun. Boss if I had missed having these, my tastebuds would have cursed me to death, so if you next visit DCD, dare not come back without having them, aap ko aap ki maa ki kasam hai !!! 😝

Some more Delhi Talks, Handshakes, Hugs & off were we, promising to come back at the very next opportunity we get or make specially to be at Delhi Food Heaven.

Thank you Jitin & Team DCD... Pune ke khaane mein Delhi ki bhasad machate raho... Rab Rakha !!!

DCD is a small outlet trying to bring out the flavours of the narrow gullies of Purani Dilli in all it's glory without compromising on the taste factor.Located bang opposite Pune IT Park in Bopodi,we dropped by here for a quick lunch and here was my experience at this place.

The ambiance of the place is rather cramped up,specially the upper seating area where we were seated.Parking your two wheeler here won't be much of an issue.

We couldn't try out the Chaat items here disappointingly since that is only available in the evenings. So we settled down for the Bedmi Poori Aloo Sabzi,Chole Bhature,Gulabjamun Rabdi,Thanks,Lassi and Buttermilk. The Bedmi Poori was great but the Aloo Sabzi was bland and salty! But the Chole Bhature was amazing, specially the Chole that did justice to the North Indian flavours. The star of the day was the Gulabjamun Rabdi, two of my personal favorites in a rather quirky combo, loved them! The buttermilk was the best among the drinks served, the Lassi was above average but the thandai was way off the mark, the spices used overpowered the thandai effect.Overall, the experience here was a mixed bag!

The service here was quick and we rather gobbled up all we could and left the place in half an hour! The place is cost effective and hence,I found the place pretty VFM.DCD somewhat successfully manages to emulate what it tries to ape but there are minor issues plaguing the place too!Hopefully, those would be fixed and I am keeping my views reserved for the Chaat items too which I would be reviewing soon.

Dilli Chat Darbar (DCD) is one of best place serving authentic Delhi style Food and has "लय भारी" (too good) Winter Special Menu

This time we tried :
- Sarson ka Saag with Makki ki roti : Sarson ka saag, served with generous amount of butter + Makki ki Roti is best thing to have here in winters.

- Kheema Kulcha : was so delicious that it can be savoured alone without any chutney or sauce. This was show stoppers for us and Must Must try ❤️

- Dilli style Chaap : Day you dont feel like eating non-veg this combination is best option : soya chaaps well marinated with spices and prepared in brown gravy.

- Chole bhature: They serve one of most flavorful Chole + bhature.

- Chat : When at DCD - Delhi style chat is something that you cant miss. We tried "Raj kachori & SPDP" : both were prepared with Sweet Curd + Mint and Tamarind Chutney. Close to what you get in Delhi( different when compared with Puneri chat) : Worth trying.

- Moong dal halwa : Winter special desert prepared in desi ghee rich in taste with lots of dry fruits -again must try.

-Gulab Jamun with Rabadi : As Jalebi was not available so we tried Gulab Jamun + Rabdi combination. DCD Gulab Jamun is truly one of best in City : you need taste to believe me

Jitin Sir (owner) is very good host : took time to explain and suggest all dishes.

Service was very quick and everything is very well price ( around 50-150 Rs)

So if you have not yet visited DCD : this is best time to try their Winter special Menu..!!!

Being A Delhiite and settled in Pune has made me crave for the Delhi food and for me Food is fuel especially if it somehow resembles the authentic taste of Delhi street food.

As someone said “Street food is the salvation of the human race” which is so true. I believe that Delhi chaat darbar takes you to those memory lanes of the street food. Sitting in the office and getting a chance to eat something which makes you remember your childhood days is the best medicine to forget all the stress. I ordered the chole kulcha which I usually use to eat when I was a kid and trust me the taste was really the same. The packaging of the entire thing was good and was delivered hot with Onion and chilli mixed with the green chutney which is served all the time whenever you eat chole kulcha or chhole bhatura. I have also tasted the yummy Pani Puri of this place and the best thing was to get the same authentic taste of sooji gol gappa which I have not yet found in any other place.

Thank you, Delhi chat darbar for opening up here and getting the authentic taste of Delhi street Food.

This is the best place in Pune for chole kulcha/bhature.
I've found that the taste is not always consistent but it is certainly always awesome.

**The chat served is North Indian style**, not Puneri style - frankly a big relief because I dislike kalyan/ganesh blel and the like.

They sometimes have a chaap special menu with layer parathas, those are also heavenly.

If the owner is there, I'd go straight to him and ask for a recommendation.

Found a good chaat outlet in Pune! Finally! Deepti Dhebane and Me were on the hunt for a while now. having gotten bored of the same bhelpuri and chaat items that were basically sweet dishes/desserts masquerading as chaat..

We tried the Paani Puri - excellent flavour, cold paani, and filled with potato filling instead of the standard ragda (diminishes taste imho). A must have!

Next up the Kulcha's from any dish.. so light and fluffy that it weighs almost nothing. Seasoned with coriander and baked to perfection.. the standout kulcha we have had yet!

The papdi chaat was good too.. we polished the meal off with Kheema Kulcha, that's spiced soya mince filled in between the awesome kulchas.

I also had a glass of chaas. Cold and spiced just right it's a great way to round off a heavy meal!

Special mention to the staff and the owner Mr. Jitin Ahuja. He takes great pride in the food he serves and also brings tradition, enthusiasm and taste to his dishes. The staff was polite and made sure we got what we liked! A great way to enjoy Indian Street food.

Tried this place after reading so many rave reviews, and also some not so good ones! But I will surely back the positive reviews! Good food! this place is not for ambiance anyways. Tries a few chaat items amongst us!... liked the tikki and chhole.... but the masterpiece was the hot jalebi... awesome. we ordered some rabdi with that too, but that was nowhere close to mark... the only downside of the evening.
overall, a good place.

After hearing so much went there to have dinner on a saturday night.

To my dismay the place hardly had crowd at 9 PM (being weekend  and famed).

Mind you its a very small place with very very limited seating . in fact I did not find the seating arrangement comfortable as it was just an encroachment on the porch of the shop. Best for take away suggested.

Anyways we ordered their dahi bhalla, Chhole bhature and Cheese pav bhaji. The chhole bhature (especially the chhole were like the kind you find in north, though not exactly but close). The dahi bhalla was different again not matching upto what we get in Delhi. The pav Bhaji was just okay.

The Place accepts cards and dinner for two cost us around

I had heard a lot about a place dishing out lip smacking chaat, kulchas, chole bhature and soon, I had the place bookmarked.
Thanks to an event, I could finally visit Dilli Chaat Darbar, the chat haven run by Jitin Ahuja.
As it was a gathering of 30 foodies, Jitin had planned some special dishes too apart from the rgular fare. The place has an open area and is right pposite the Pune IT park on Bhau Patil road, Khadki.

Food :
We started off with panipuri or golgappa. Crunchy and spicy, I was off to a great start. The next item on the menu was Thandai. It was cool and had a kick, somewhat the kick was a bit on higher side but cool and refreshing. Fittingly, the next item was the Raj kachori chat and it was one of the best I have had in Pune. Kudos for it!!
The keema kulcha , the chole bhatoora and matar kachori were the subsequent items. All tasted good and we nsured we order only one plate amongst 4 of us to get to taste more items :P

And then came the dish of the day : Bhutte ki Kees. I had tasted it first time. It was grated corn with spices and shredded coconut. Yum!!

However, one of the special items on the menu- Ram ki Ladoo was a bit bland for me and I restricted myself to only one bite.
Dilli Chaat Darbar visit was complete with the amazing Kaala jamun. Being one with a sweet tooth, This was the best way to end my meal at Dilli Chaat Darbar.

Will be back soon to try out the items I missed.

This place is a saving grace for all chat lovers in Pune... Exceptional is the only word that describes any and every item that comes out from the kitchen at DCD... We love this place so much that its our go to shop to cater for family functions as well...

Coming to the food bits-
Chole Bhature-- Delightful- the only place where the bhaturas dont leak oil and the chole has a taste other than the commercial ones available across chat centres
Chole Kulcha- Just as yummy but I love it a bit more  with those heavenly kulchas... actually the kulchas would go well with any curry
Sarson saag/Makke di Roti- Another combination straight from heaven...

The regular chaat items are exceptional as well... go with any combination and its a sure shot winner...

However the 2 best items personally for me are
Kheema Kulcha- i have never tasted Soya in a yummier format...
Jalebi with Rabdi- Pure bliss

I've been visiting this place since 2014. Their consistency levels are amazing. The owner, Jitin Ahuja is always very accommodating when it comes to a few extras one might order during the course of the meal.

My favourite place for Chholey Bhatorey made dilli style with the right amount of slice and consistency. Also, the bedmi puri and aloo subzi am make an incredible combination.

I've made it a point to visit DCD during every visit I make to Pune. More power to such places.

I have been crossing this place on my way daily for years and had noticed it for the name but was not sure to visit for the appearance. Recent reviews on fb prompted me to visit it n today travelled across the city for it. Was right about the appearance, the hygiene was not very convincing, the food was out in the open with loads of flies around. So opted for only the hot items like kulcha chhole n what I had visited the place for- makai roti n sarso saag. The service was pretty slow though there was no crowd. Again the waiters came holding plates with water dripping from hand. But the food was awesome - had delhi style kulcha for the 1st time in pune. Makai roti n saag reminded me of delhi winters- none in pune had equalled this taste in years. Enjoyed it thoroughly - but if only they cud work on hygiene a bit which is most important when it comes to food, would love to try out more things.

Not to mention the people there are really very kind and friendly! They give you such a heart warming feeling
Also shout out to the desi ghee jalebis, get some packed if you go there and won't regret it.

What a place !!U ought to have a meal here, a dinnner.. a early dinner maybe like the one I had !I went around 7 and ordered chole (kulcha+bhatura) Kulcha is nothing what i thought, yes.. it is made of maida but ultra soft on chewiness. Do order in such combo as both Kulcha and bhatura both are equaly good !
Their chole - ki - sabji is on the higher spicier side than what we maharastrian ppl have. ( but good spicy)

I also tried their stuffed kulcha ! oh dear lord. It was perfectly stuffed with the right amount o filling. A spicy filling indeed. Coming to their Chats:1. SPDP: subtle taste of each ingrediant is the key to success for this place, and this dish proves it.
2. TIkki: right amount of crispy part with soft potato inside. Good wali feeling after the first bite itself.
3. Pani Puri: suzi ki puris are real treat when it comes to pani puri experience. didnt quiet like the masala puri though.

Over all ... yes ! as I said..come here for a complete chaat and delhi kind of a experience !

I visited Dilli chaat darbar on a sunday evening and to be honest, my initial thoughts by looking at the place were to expect an average tasting meal. But the wise men dont say, 'Dont judge a book by its  cover' for nothing. If anything, this dishes served at DCD deserve to be on everyone's to-eat list at least once.
We started off with a plate of pani puri : the puri was crisp, the water was spicy and cold. After finishing up one plate, i was pretty much sure i wanted to eat at-least a couple of plates more, but my friend suggested we try the cholle kulche.
The star/pick of the 5-6 dishes we tried was the cholle kulche. The kulche were soft, fluffy yet cooked to perfection and the cholle were non-oily with a dark brown gravy. They were served with sliced onion and a pickled chilli.
We also had a plate of pav bhaji and a tikki chat which seemed tasty. (Although the pav bhaji could have been a little bit more spicier.)
The place is pocket friendly and has an outdoor/indoor seating. I am not complaining, but the outdoor seating could be made a little bit more attractive.
I will pay another visit soon to try some more of the chaat items, specially the Raj kachori.

Have been DCD so many number of times and everytime came back satisfied. Since i was living near Pune IT park so going to DCD was almost a daily affair. The Chole Bhature, Samosa Chole, Kachori Chole are really mouthlicking but are on a spicier side. I have tried almost all the menu Items except for few(Lassi which i dont like at all, believe me i have never drank lassi/chaach in my entire life and would never try in future as well). The Puri Bedmi Aloo ki sabji is a unique that i loved the most which has a unique flavour and is worth try. The golgappas are really good and is among the few places in Pune where you get north indian style golgappas.

Dilli Chaat Darbar , 26June 2016

This place serves amazing food. I remember my 1st visit then great food n fun at one of the palatable held here. Blame the weather for craving of garma-garam chole and thus landed to DCD on weekend.

Chole Kulche- Perfectly cooked and perfectly spiced chole and Kulche were light, fresh, fluffy.

Aloo Tikki - Tasted amazing, aloo tikki fried in ghee till it gets crispy- topped with chutney, dahi, pomegranate, paneer cube.

Aloo Bedmi Poori- Wanted to try this since long but last time it was not available. Simple home-styled aloo sabji served with bedmi pooris. Aah! Loved it. We could taste the spices in the poori too. Had bedmi poori for the 1st time. Pooris were not oily as dough for this kept coarse unlike our usual soft dough pooris. Also Jitin informed-rolling of these pooris is skilled task.

Jitin offered us Kulfi as they recently started making them. It was goood!
We had to miss favorite Jalebi as we were full.

Thank you Jitin and DCD team- Taste buds satiated, lunch sorted, afternoon well spent!!

Have been to this place several times, and each time have returned as a satisfied foodie soul.

Have tried a variety of dishes, but my favourite pick would be the Chole Bature and Jalebi.

The chole bature have the beautiful Delhi flavours and are Cooke using the black gabuna chole.

The jalebi is always freshly fried in pure ghee, and is one of the best jalebi in town.

The golgappe (pani puri) is also one of their specialities. They make 2 varieties of Paris themselves and are perfectly crisp and easy to eat.

Probably, one of the very few places where you get Samosa Chaat using Chole.

This is definitely a must try for all Chaat lovers...

Dilli Chat Darbar "DCD" what we call it as, is located bit off the happening foodie arras is Pune. But trust me, whatever the pain it takes to visit it is worth.

DCD typically serves north indian pure veg food, be it chats, chole bhaturas or desserts lome jalebi rabdi, etc.

Though I have tried most of the dishes on their menu and yet a long way to go to try everything on the menu, some of my favourites are - chole bhaturas, sarson ka saag (winter menu), gol gappe and rabdi.

#HappyHoli couldn't have been better to kick-start with!

A range of ultimate delicacies and varieties for us and few items were infact exclusively been prepared for us this evening.

* Kanji Wada - a Rajasthani summer drink which Jitin Prepared especially for this #PalatableMeetForPEO. Its a mustard prime, little turmeric, asafoetida flavoured drink kept in sun over four days served chilled with bite sized porous textured bhallas . It was little bit sour but so cool that this summer we deserve this on a daily basis!
* Gol-Gappe - Sooji-made puris with tangy panis to give it an amazing taste.
* Alu Tikki - my all time fav and PEOple also liked it. It worked as a proper appetiser to start the evening with.
* Pyaaz Kachori - good tangy affair. Liked by all.
* Thandai - milky affair mixed with saffron, dry fruits and no BHANG at all😛. It was served mild chilled so tasted amazingly. #CatchOfTheEvening
* Moong Dal Cheela - soft paneer, finely chopped onions, tomatoes, coriander , the dose of moong. The crunch to a bite was sounded amazing. Another #Gem of the evening.
* Chholey-Bhature - PEOple have tasted it previously and will have a taste for it in future too. Its amazingly done and we had an superb talk over one plate of dish and re-filling it like five times in a row! What a spell-bounder it was.

Being from NCR any food joint that says "Dilli" immediately grabs my attention. Tucked in a small corner DCB has had great reviews which prompted me to try it.
It was a lazy saturday noon that we decided to visit.
I had been asked to taste the samosas as they taste totally like the ones we get in delhi. to my disappointment i was not allowed to have a plain samosa and the only option was samosa with chhole, which was good but i could not get the taste of the samosa.
Next i ordered was "chhole bhature" the chholas were good.. but bhaturas were a little small.
Also tried the golagappe and the golgappe chaat which were satisfactory.
Over all a satisfactory experience.

Dilli chaatt darbar is an true north indian eating outlet. Just one word suits this place "superb". Each and every dish item of this place is awesome but the best is the "chole butara". Trust me on that these are the best chole butara in the world, yes "in the world". These will make you go crazy.

Real stuff !! True north Indian taste. But there's a big BUT----

There is an INFESTATION of flies. I don't understand what does it take to install a pest flasher equipment. There was a DEAD FLY on the frying skillet ( see photo ). When pointed out, the guy wanted to remove it before the photo was captured, however I still managed a snapshot. The entire oil was changed however. The uncooked stuff doesn't have a cover ether. Maybe i should stop eating out or take my account off Zomato.

Food: (4.5/5) Overall great north Indian snacks. Raj kachori, bedmi poori with aloo subzi and gulab jamun are recommended. Service: (4/5) Quick and attentive. The owner makes an effort to provide an overall courteous experience. Price: (4/5) Value for money given the quality of ingredients used and the authentic taste. Ambience: (3.5/5) Very basic as you would expect from a street food joint.

When your weekend doesn't turn out to be the way you planned it, good food can make up your weekend ... this exactly happened to us after visiting DCD ( Dilli Chaatt Darbar) it was my friend's first visit to this place so we started with gol gappe- thandi imali Ki khati chutney, filling of alu & chole with crispy puris ... do I need to describe it more??

Next was my fav Chole Bature with mirchi - it's not thiki mirchi but goes along well with hot batura and chol

Place is very easy to locate. Right opposite Aundh IT park. The interior are very simple and clean. The chaat counter is placed outside. The person at the chaat counter was wearing gloves while serving. We tried the gol gappe, mutter tikki, samosa chole and the gulab jamun. Awesome taste. We loved the samosa chole. The gulab jamuns are a must have here. Will visit again with more friends.

"Review based only on chole bhatura"
One of the advantages of having a north India flatmate is you get to explore lot of great food places and Dilli Chatt Darbar is indeed one of them.
The place is opposite Pune IT park on khadki road. Set up in a serene ambience, Its outdoor seating sets up a perfect mood for late afternoon street food snacks.
We went for a late lunch and my friend would not let me even see the menu and he ordered chole bhature for us. With Mirch ka achar and fanta as the perfect combo, chole bhatura was very delicious. Bhatura was not at all oily and chole was cooked with perfect mixture of spices. Being a North style food lover I highly recommend this place for chole bhatura at least.
The only issue with the place was the mosquitoes but again as you drool over your chole you won't complain of anything.
PS - A Dilli Wala (owner) is always fun to talk to :D

This place has a lot to work on as far as the seating arrangements are concerned! Yes it's one of the few outlets where you can expect good street food. However the pani puris were soiled since they were kept in the open exposed to moisture...the tikkis were good nice and crisp on the outside with an adequate crunch! The best was the bedami puri and aloo a meal in itself and jalebis! Being a hardcore jalebi@ lover I really liked the fact that everything was freshly prepared in front of your eyes! The staff is very very courteous and they really try to tailor your meal not a luxury you get everywhere. A few points here and there but a good experience overall :)

Heard a lot from many fellow foodie's....
And they were right it's a really a good place to have chaat with a Delhi aroma attached.

Simple order: Bhel, tikki chaat, Dahi puri chaat, Golgappe.

Dahi puri was awesome, Dahi was not at all sour perfect taste to tempt you for more.

Bhel was ok types personally I didn't liked so much. But everyone had has different taste buds especially for the chaat. I found it bit dry to swallow or might be I should have asked more of pani to added.

Tikki chaat was really good, nice golden brown Tikki served with green chutney, Dahi, sev, magic chaat masala, and paneer cube on it.... Wow !!!

Golgappe must have made of semolina I could feel the roughness and the shape tell the rest.... It's not just pani puri it has proper ragada in it with both the pani sweet and spicy.... I bet you just can't have one plate you will order one more....

Overall....

Food: Nice and authentic place to try it out.

Staff: happy go lucky types. Owner also keeps a track of the orders and customers satisfaction.

Service: pretty good don't know much how it might be on a weekend rush.

Ambience: This is the place where the owner can improvise with better lighting.

Value for money: Really worth spending.

Excellent food! Must try chhole bhature and different types of chat (samosa, aloo )
Decent price. Decent ambience.
If you are coming in lunch time you won't get a seat meaning food is that good.
Paav bhaji is not typical maharashtrian style.
Overall nice experience. Would like to visit again.

I was so relieved seeing little rush around this place. I expected a complicated ticketing system with tiny queues at each stall. On the contrary, the place appeared to be working at its own soothing pace, with the owner of the place, giving time to customers as well as a helping hand to the cook.
The first thing we tried were Paani Puris. Good; the water was icy and they served boiled potatoes with it. I felt that the water could have been a little bit more spicy to really wake up those spice buds. Next came the Aloo Chat, by this time we had already asked to have put some extra spice in the dish, so that the result was a perfection. Honestly, I went into "Food Trance"; I didn't look up before I was finished with it.
Lastly, we had Chole bhature: the Delhi ones. Yeah, they are hugely different from what is served elsewhere, and are definitely more tasty. But, it was satisfying to taste again- the redeeming quality of delhi chat.
I am coming back!

Being a North Indian I had been haunting for a place where golgappas are served instead of pani poori with hot ragda and fortunately today I visited the place.
Tried golgappas, raj kachori, alu tikki and all were delicious.
I will rate the place 4.5 on qualify.
4 on price and 3.5 on service.
There is a bit of chaos on the service end which can be a scope of improvement for the place.
Though the owners are courteous and polite.

All my friends in Delhi were gorging on chole bhature and kulfi faluda so we had the craving too but where to look for it in Pune? That is when I remembered this place in Aundh, Dilli Chaatt Darbar, I had read several good reviews on Zomato hence decided to give it a try. We ordered a plate of chole bhature, samosa chaat, kachori with aloo ki sabji and lassi. Obviously I wasn't comparing it to Delhi Roshan's or Paharganj but these were good. The chole was a big hit, with kachori n aloo ki sabji coming second. The lassi was super yummy with a spoon full of malai. The samosa chaat was a little too sweet for our taste but nice. Definitely worth a try!!

Having grown up on Mumbai-style chaat and absolutely in love with it, Delhi-style chaat isn’t really my first preference. In fact, I used to absolutely dislike the sooji pooris and potato golgappe initially; but I guess I slowly acquired the taste for it after a few years of living in North India. However, I am still very skeptical about places that claim to serve North Indian style chaat in Pune, and hadn’t found a decent place that does so, so far. Thankfully, Dilli Chaat Darbar (DCD) in Khadki turned out to be completely different experience and I am glad that we finally have a place serving authentic and delicious North Indian style chaat in Pune.

DCD is a small eatery on the Bhau Patil Road in Aundh, and has a very basic set-up. They have a few chairs outside and a few tables and chairs on the mezzanine, but everything was spotlessly clean when we went. The staff uses disposable head-covers and gloves while handling food and they seem to use purified water for all their preparations, so that is great for those who love street food but are usually skeptical of hygiene issues at such places.

This is what we sampled on this particular visit:

Golgappe: Perfectly crisp sooji pooris, a boied potato and chaat masala stuffing and chilled paani; truly delicious and all the proportions were perfect.

Rajkachori: was equally good, with the sprouts and potato filling, dahi that wasn’t too sour, chutneys that were delicious and again used in good proportions; and paneer and pomegrate seeds for garnish. It was a treat both for the eyes and for the taste buds.

Chole Tikki: Chole tikki is my absolute favorite when it comes to North Indian Chaat, and I had heard a lot about DCD’s chole, so I was really keen on trying it out. Their chole tikki is the no-frills and devoid of fancy garnishes kind; just a really yum, crisply fried in ghee aloo tikki and some really well-cooked, busting with flavor kale chole; the onion topping too is only optional.

Aloo Bedmi poori: I had been hearing a lot of different social media platforms about DCD’s chole bhature, but having tasted their chole with the tikki already, my co-diner wanted to try something else. So we tried the aloo sabji and bedmi poori; the aloo sabji was a really nice, home-style preparation, not to spicy or oily but really yum. But the real star here are those bedmi pooris, I don’t know what exactly goes into it, but the pooris were really soft and fluffy, not too oily, and had some coarse ingredient that I cannot identify which gave a very nice texture to it.
They also serve some chutney and freshly pickled green chillies with it; the green chillies were simply mind-blowing.

I had heard a lot of people praise DCD’s owner Mr. Ahuja for his personal attention to every customer and warm hospitality. On the day we visited, he wasn’t present at the outlet, but I must say that he has trained his staff equally well and nothing is amiss, even in his absence. The service was quick, the staff member who attended us had a good knowledge of the food they were serving, and informed us about options wherever customization was possible.

Prices are very reasonable for the quality and level of hygiene.

Would definitely like to visit again to try their kachoris, chole bhature and dessert offerings.

The only place that I have come across, which serves you authentic North Indian chaat. I have searched places, so many joints but this is where my search ends.
The chole bhature and aloo chaat was exceptionally good. I asked for extra chatpati aloo chaat, which took me back, down the memory lane to home.
Jalebis were great and rabdii carried that actual "saundha" taste. They serve aloo tikki as it should be. It is crispy with proper chutneys and garnishing.
The Pani puri was good with that perfect natural sour taste. I just felt it could have been a bit more "chatpata". Therefore 4.5 for this place.
People if you crave for that north indian taste, not just "delhi", then this is the only place in Pune that I have have come across, meeting those standards. I suggest to greet food with a general north indian palate and do not get into nitty gritty of it.
The staff is courteous and i'm surely going back to this place.

Tucked away under the shade of trees this restaurant delivers lip smacking varieties of Chaat.I loved their aloo tikka chaat as the aloo tikka is very crisp and deep fried. Also their dahi balla papdi chaat is remarkable. And to top all of it a sweet jalebi rabdi climax. The customer interaction is top notch.Economical and highly recommended.

The only place in Pune that serves authentic choke bhature and bedmi puri. Having born and stayed in Delhi for 40 years and eaten hundreds of plates of chile bhature and bedmi poori, I was dying to get good bhaturas and bedmi puris in Puri, and after trying lots of places, I had given up the idea of eating bhaturas until I visited this place. The pani-puris and the gulab Jamuns reminded me of the old Delhi streets aroma. All in all this is definitely a must visit place if you want to get good authentic Delhi street food. Nothing can be better than this.

Tried Bedmi poori with Aloo ki sabzi, it was fabulous. Gol Gappa was okayish due to pani being not much spicy. Staff was really courteous and on request gave me few other dishes for tasting. Moong dal halwa was a total let down due to inconsistent texture and dark color. Definitely will try Chole Bhature and Makke ki roti with saag in my next visit as Chole and saag taste was good. Edit:- I went to the restaurant as I was craving pani puri North Indian style.... They have 2 varieties of water... Meetha Soonth ka Pani and Khatta Green one... Masala is a lil bland and also ask for Sooji wali poori as they do offer that.... The guy was very friendly... And yes I kind of wanted a change in my chat options so this was good. So suggestions is go and get your order instead of using delivery apps. Also price differs s lot on both options. Old review - Ordered from Zomato just because the name suggests they have authentic North Indian food. Ordered papdi chat, samosa chat and chole kulche and was highly disappointed. Also quite overpriced.

If you want to have good north indian food/chaat, this place is must go. Tried a couple of things there. My personal favourite would be the Chole and Kulcha, the Kulcha was light and puffy ~ aka cloud like. The taste of the chole is just right. Their Suji wali Pani Puri is yum too ♥️😌. They also have blissful piping hot dollar jelebis which weaken you :'). The quantity and quality are just perfect. The ambience is pretty casual, has a couple of eateries near by. The parking is by the street and is good place to hand out in the evenings.

Fabulous food. The only authentic delhi-style kulchas I've had in Pune, served with delicious kichad chole. Round it off with that stellar jalebi and you'll probably slip into the kind of food coma that demands a long nap. The propreitor is an avid foodie, and thoroughly devoted to his craft. Although the food is excellent, the seating is sadly somewhat limited, and in no way will it keep up with the demand this place will inevitably have, so plan to get there early!
