Pani Puri is amazing! Perfect blend of spices and cold water with crispy puris is must have. What makes it a 5 (rather 6 star) service is the great attitude towards customers and not leaving anything unturned until customers are fully satisfied!
We had initially ordered ragda pattice and Bhalla papdi chaat but the server there advised us to replace ragda pattice with Bombay chaat since the other two would be similar. Appreciate that.
It was mildly spiced and tasty. Also got bhel parceled which was the bomb. Best out of the three. No picture of that unfortunately

They have good indoor seating area and a pani puri counter outside.
Tried Farsaan Bhel, Masala puri, Dahi puri and Chaat.

When we reached it was fully packed packed, asked on the counter is there any token system for पाणीपुरी, The owner smiled and said Sheth पाणीपुरी खा आवडली तर पैसे द्या 😊😊 (I was totally surprised).. They prepare puri inhouse.. पाणीपुरी was too good👌👌👌😋😋😋
As I went inside to pay the bill saw the guy was preparing SPDP And couldn't resist my self and we ordered spdp again too good In taste crispy puries loaded with shev गोड दही चिंच पाणी 😋😋 #mustHave

This is my favourite place for pani puri(ragda) and other chaat in Pune. I've been going here for the last 12 years and never have I been disappointed. Everything here including SPDP, bhel, ragda pattice and obviously the pani puri are must try. I have 1 of each everytime i visit. Just a small caution: If you order for home delivery you will be disappointed since I got boiled aloo instead of ragda for pani puri. This is an error since there is no option while ordering online if you want ragda or aloo. Verify with the restaurant while placing an order
Wonderful food.. Enjoyed basket chat. Must try dish also a bhel is tasteeee.. As per name panipuri toh banta hi hai. Parking is bit hassle for car. But worth going for any chat. Good waiters.
Pani puri, being the king of chaat, needs royal recognition and Jaishankar Pani Puriwala does complete justice. But, the Special Masala Puri caught my attention. The flavours, the spice, the crunch, spot on!

1) Pani Puri
The pani puri they serve is quite different to taste then the ones we all are used to and surprisingly amazing. They make their own puri’s from rice which adds another point to visit this place. #musttry
2) Sp. Ragada Pani Puri
The same pani puri served with Ragada in it. They serve the pani and the stuffed puri separately when you wish to have it served inside at your table.
3) Bombay Chaat
This chaat is not that different from all the other chaat we enjoy but has a punch of great flavours to it. #musttry
Overall it is a must visit place if you are craving for some tasty chaat around this area. It is not that expensive of a place to miss 😇

Jai Shankar serves you the chilled panipuri in town...you will fall in love as soon as you put the first puri in your mouth and just bite it literally and not suck it ! Many people suck puri and then have the bite, i don't know why ?.

Jaishankar Pani Puriwala located at babajan chowk is old and quite famous for it's lip-smacking chaats and puris.
I have been there a few times and tried their pani puri which were fresh and crunchy with the perfect balance of sweet, sour and spice.
I have also loved their SPDP (Dahi Puri).
However, when I recently ordered bhel, SPDP and special tokri chaat; something in the tokri chaat tasted spoilt.
SPDP and bhel were quite spot on.
The delicious tamarind chutney garnished with rich Indian spices adds to the final touch.
I was a little dissapointed this time but will still give it a try again.

Place is good for quality chaat in area. Taste and quality with sitting arrangement of this place is nice, and thereby preferred. Bit overpriced, a bit. But its worth hygiene and sitting arrangement.

Amazed to see a sophisticated panipuri stall in city, but even has one of the best panipuri I ever had and even the dahi wads.... can definitely beat the Mumbai badshah panipuriwala for sure... staff is too friendly and am reviewing this after visiting many times ... even it's there on swiggy now so am having panipuri at home too... great man ...
If you want to try the best Pani Puri ever, then Jaishankar it is. The chat-pata Pani Puri is a perfect blend of spice, sweetness and pizazz. There is a whole range of chaats to choose from; all equally exciting and tasty. I personally love the Delhi chaat and the Bombay chaat. After a welcome face-lift, and improved service ... it's an even better experience.

I ordered Bombay chaat and khasta chaat and after that Special shev Puri and the last paani Puri at this place. Both the chaat itema were good in taste, but shev Puri spoiled the mood and paani Puri spoiled the taste of everything. Paani Puri cost Rs. 30 for 5, but I would say a proper road side vendor has yummy paani Puri .
Good pani puri place and delish delhi chaat. Price wise high than other places but still value for money. I would recommend this place if you are in camp area.

The management is really friendly. Visited after a long time. The Chaats and pani puri are yum usually.This time around found the tastes have varied a little. The balance in the chutneys werent to the point..like before.. At times the sweet chutney is way to sweet ruining the experience for the day. But overall one of the best places for panipuri. The puris have the awesome crispiness..
This time we tried the Khasta chat and Bombay chat.. The khasta chat is not always available. I found it to be ok.
Jaishankar panipuri :- The most famous place known for the Chaat items since long... Well lived in the same locality and witnessed and known how tasty it was..

This is one of the oldest Pani Puri, Chaat and Bhel outlet. I have been eating here since childhood when it was small outlet at the same place. But now they have good sitting arrangement with an extra counter for just the Pani Puri outside the outlet. So you can relish it outside and then enter inside to have other chaat items.
Pani Puri: Puri are thin and crispy and have same taste since many years. Pani is always chilled and tasty.
Ragada Pattice: Perfectly made with nice big Pattice with loads of Ragada adds the flavours to this dish.
Pakwan Chaat: The staff told me that they have introduced new dish in the menu, flakey and crispy pakwan served with sweetened Dahi, Imli ki chutney, ragada, sev and some Pomegranate for the garnish. Nice dish to try out.
Bhel: Although quantity was less but the taste was really good.
Lassi: Nice, thick and perfect sweet lassi.
This place is total VFM.
One of the best place to have good Bhel, pani Puri and many other items. They make everything in front of our eyes by keeping enough hygiene. Staff is good and attentive. For me the best thing is Bhel.

This place serves the best Panipuri in town. It is Located in the interiors of camp. The basket chat and the bombay chat are also a musy try here. Only a few tables to sit. The service is fast. Parking in the area is a huge problem. Avoid going by four wheelers.

I've been coin to jaishankar for ever since I can remember.
Their Pani puri is absolutely delicious - served with mashed potatoes and some boondi. The water is chilled and tangy - perfect!
Another must try is the Bombay chat (earlier called Bombay mix) - crushed poori topped with hot ragda, chutneys and yoghurt. It's probably one of the best items in the menu.
The only drawback is this is on a crowded street and parking is difficult (which isn't their fault) and is always crowded, but it's worth the wait.
Spicy paani puri that's truly spicy. These guys know their jobs and do it well. We didn't try many things tho, saving them for next time. Yum.

Found this place through zomato who marked them as popular for paani puris and indeed it is. A very different style of making paani puris(Aalu & Bundi) when compared to most of the paani puri walas in Pune. If you like paani puri then this is the place you should visit (Camp Branch)

Thanks to my pani puri craving I landed here. If this place is not on ur list then pls place it somewhere in top 10. Pani puri was really tasty especially the puri it was thin and very crispy. So, we had heard a lot about it and was also mentioned by Ms S Roy Choudhury. Now finding the place and parking is pain in the arse. Post you enter the tiny joint at Babajaan Chowk, all the pain vanishes. Now I will not do a routine review here. There are two kind of Panipuri or Golgappa lovers - one who like thande paani wali Panipuri and others who like it hot with all the ingredients (I have seen prevalent in Maharashtra)- . I prefer thande pani wali. So for those who like this thande pani wali puri, its a delight. Now, the benchmark should be another thande paani wali Paani Puri - The famous Saat paani wali Paani Puri from Sect.34, Chandigarh is simply best, those who have had it, know what I am speaking abt.
Anyways, Jaishankar Pani Puri wala is simply the best we have tasted in Pune. You never feel overwhelmed by the Paani Puri but you are left wanting for more after your ek plate.
Now, the guy who serves wears gloves. So, the bare minimum hygiene is maintained.
On the owner's suggestion we tried Special Bombay Chaat. It was really good. Sometimes you may wonder how good things are so simple. The chat was basically chole with crispy puris (see attached pic) with a tangy concoction of sweet and sour chutney. Basically giving a khatta meetha flavour.
Prices are economical given the popularity of place.
The service is quick and humble. Brownie points from my side for a place where popularity has not gone into heads of owner or service staff for being friendly. An unlikely observation here in Pune.
The place is small and you might have to wait for tables as it is mostly populated.
Visited this place at odd hours, when usually people don't head for chats. Thus the place was empty and I was the only customer that they could serve. Ran through the menu and preferred SPDP over other (limited items). The taste was one I was looking for, but that was another reason why I was not surprised. The 'Puri' used was different and so are the shev. I expected a lot more shev and an extra puri to make it qualify for 4 or 4+ stars. Overall taste was good though more inclined towards sweet. To summarize, it still fortifies my belief that the real chat can only be found in Mumbai but I can visit this place as a makeshift alternative.
Me and my roomy we were thinking of going to this place since a long time and somehow we couldn't go....and finally we went here on Friday...it was not easy to locate...but the joint is prominent because of its bold name...we had pani puri and shev batata puri both were good...but not out of the world...we get same taste around in our areas on thelas...so my advice is if you are roaming in near by areas then go and have quick bites of chat they serve...but not worth going all the way to camp to have this....service is quick....they are hygienic as they use gloves to serve pani puri...utensils were also clean...after having pani puri they served us masala puri and it was awesome....
It's been over 15 yrs that I came back to this tiny little place.. It would be a place my mother would bring my brother and me after school days.. How we enjoyed going there.... After all these years I went there... And was not disappointed.. I have crowned the places to have the best pani puries I'v had so far.. Loved it... What ever you eat there is just amazing.. The staff there are very friendly and helpful... My shev puri happened to be too spicy for me.. The guys there saw me panting so they gave me some more puries with potato and extra sweet sauce.. As the name suggests, they serve some of the best pani puri in Pune. Their other chat items require you to order and sit down, which is a daunting task as there's always a huge crowd of customers. But for Pani puri, you don't have to wait for a table to clear, so it's easily the most recommended chat item here.
Good place to have chat when you are in camp. Chats are well done & you have option to make it spicy. Their Dahi Bata puri is super, the portion is small & you are tempted to have a repeat. Bhel is tasty & tangy. Staff is friendly & service is fast. This chat house has 8 tables & the Pani puri live counter is outside the restaurant. Rates are reasonable ₹₹. They also take outdoor catering. The place is clean & hygienic.
