It is a nice place situated on the banks of the lake of Khadakvasla. The view is great and this restaurant serves delicious food. Service is quick but is slightly overpriced. Expect them to charge a premium for this place. They serve drinks. The place also has a lounge and a hotel. However, it is recommended to sit in the outdoor seating for a better experience.
The only reason i visited this place was for the view.

It was an occasion of independence day after long ride all we riders decided to stop at this resort being punekar never been to this place though had a good connection with khadakwasla.
Such a lovely view it gives feeling of Rajasthan backwater but it's Pune peacock bay lovely ambience and amazing food we decided to Hogg on vegetarian food ordered paneer lajawab, veg kolhapuri, manchow soup, chicken biryani and butter roti .
Food no doubt it's good and the service is also good no doubt if u looking for family option to visit it's a perfect place for evening.
On the serene banks of Khadakwasla dam. The place provides excellent view from it's garden restaurant. With decent food you can try range of beverages. A perfect place for dinner while returning from Simhagadh fort....
The best ambience near a lake. Stepping into aquarius made me happy, the vibe and atmosphere near aquarius which is located beside khadakwasla lake is just impeccable. Hot and tasty food with a cold breeze from the lake gave me satisfaction. The resort comes with many photogenic spots, if you're interested for selfies.
I ordered chicken wonton soup and cream of chicken with chicken pahadi kebab. Chicken Rogan Josh assorted besides paneer tikka masala guzzled with tandoori roti is exemplary.

Rainy season calls for a long drive and some good food.
Khadakvasla has been a very common option when it comes to a day out for all the Punekars.
I recently was invited to this place called Aquarius resort near Khadakvasla dam.
The place is situated at a beautiful location and and you get a lovely view while you enjoy your meal. The ambiance is just perfect for a weekend getaway and to spend some quality time with your loved ones.
For appetizers I had their "Paneer Hot Pan" and "Raspberry Mushrooms". Loved both the dishes. Paneer hot pan had a wonderful taste which was spicy and with balanced flavours. Raspberry mushroom had a really tasty outer coating which I loved.
For Main Course I had "Aquarius special Veg" which was a sabzi with a sweet tone of taste but it was really tasty. Loved it.
I also tried their cocktail "Screw Driver" and I personally loved it. The whole ambiance just added up to the whole experience of me having a wonderful time there.
Ended the meal with Gulab jamun with ice cream and i couldn't have asked for a better ending 😊
Had a wonderful time there and looking forward to visit it again soon.

This place was on my bucket list for so long and when i finally got a chance to visit it, i was delighted to the core.
Loved every bit of this beast of a place, a beast, yes! But oh so beautiful. The lakeside view (Khadakwasla dam) the amazing food, the chilly breeze and hey the refreshing sprinklers (Cuz it was raining) are all things i'll remember for a long, long time!

I was invited by Aquarius Resort for a lunch with my friends and family over this weekend.
I visited them yesterday and had a really good time here with my loved ones.
• The place has an amazing view and feels absolutely peaceful and calm far off from the city traffic and congestion.
• The roads which lead here are not the ideal ones, but manageable. I had an opportunity to taste some of the items here, but trust me, in this particular weather, everything you get feels overwhelming and way too enjoyable.
• The veg starter included paneer hot pan & raspberry mushroom. The hot pan was ideal and perfect. The raspberry mushroom was something new for me and pretty good too taste wise. From the non-vegetarian starters we had chicken steamy shots & chicken kebabs. The kebabs were decent and mild on taste but cooked well. The steamy shots on the other hand a lot of coconut and felt more like coconut barfi with minced chicken added, very mild on spices.
• The mains on the other hand had mutton Banjara where the mutton was cooked superbly with a medium spicy garlic onion gravy. While the vegetarian mains had their special veg item which was sweetish gravy of veggies in it.
• We ended our meal with gulab jamun with ice cream and headed home with a smile on our faces, drenched and with some a enjoyable weekend memories.

Good place to visit during the monsoon. Awesome view of the lake and the food is decent. The ambience is basic and the prices are on the higher side for that. There is a lot of parking so that is good! There are a lot of swans which are fun to watch. Overall a good place for an outing during the rains.

Very good. It has beautiful lake facing seatings, play garden. Recently they have renovated adding a garden too. You can do many things rather than to just sit on your table.

I have been here multiple times for the ambience. It's a good outdoor place for dinner, especially during summers as the place is cool during the evenings owing to its proximity to Khadakwasla Lake/Dam.
The food is average and at times above average. There is a garden for kids to play around. Options of stay too are available.
I would have given it 2.5 to 3 for its food and service as the cost of food is pretty high compared to the taste and quality of it but since I love the ambience I am giving it 3.5

We ordered 2 starter as my favorite veg gold coin and panner pan fry . About this dish . We will not get theses extremely tasty dish no where in pune .

There is played with slides, swing and other physical activity games. There's also a garden and a pool. We also have a good view of the khadakwalsa dam. The dining area is just before the dam waters.
Food:
It is expensive and quantity is less but the quality and taste is good.

After reading many reviews I have finally decided to visit this resort. USP for this resort is close to water body and awsome view. About restaurant it is an average restaurant with average food quality. Service is fast. Pricing is expensive for the food. Overall it is one time visit place/restaurant.
The location of this restaurant along with the delicious food and ambience add a very unique spark to your mood. To add the staff is very cooperative and patient, and take good care of you to make your visit complete. I came here twice wont hesitate to visit again. Keep it up..!!!

Aquarius is located just on the bank of khadakwasla after the nda. The best part about the dinning is the lake side seating against the cool breeze which constantly hits you. The food was also great. Veg spring rool is a must try. Alcohol is not served considering the new rules. I have been here twice.Once the orders were delayed but the second time the orders were served on time.

This is a great place. Suitable for family and friends. I will highly recommend this place if you are visiting any place in Sinhagad vicinity. The natural view from here is very beautiful. A nice place for having dinner with family and friends.. Actually I went there a couple of times..the service and the food was good..the ambience was awesome...some of my friends fell in love with the place ..now a days they have stopped serving alcohol due to recent Supreme court ban..My recommendation is that you visit this place in the evening and reach there atleast till 7.30..opt for the sitting area which is at the back side of the lawn..there is also a small play area to keep your little ones occupied..the only problem I faced was table booking through the zomato app..I booked a table a couple of hours earlier since we were in a large group of 15..I got a message from Zomato that the restaurant could not take my booking..disappointed I called them up directly..and surprise..I got the booking..They even called me up as I was late due to the evening traffic on Sinhagad Road..All in all..It was a fine experience!!
A very lovely place by lake side.! Situated about 2 kms ahead of the Khadakwasla Lake. Pocket friendly. Food is yum. Ambience is lovely. There is an open seating arrangement and an indoor seating arrangement as well. There is a garden for the kids to play. Service is fast,the staff is active and very humble. They will suggest you dishes according to your taste. Since its a resort and located along lakeside there are water sports available as well. Overall a good experience.

I'm so glad we found this gem in the middle of nowhere. We live very close to khadakwasla lake. Aquarius Resort is a great option for some really tasty food that gets delivered home promptly. We've tried a few veg and non veg gravies with naan. Also tried their seafood starters and the kebabs which are phenomenal! I requested for less oil which they complied with. Most restaurants just scoop out the excess oil on top, but this seemed to have been cooked especially for me 😊. All the dishes were very flavourful and had their own distinct flavour and the meat was cooked well. We've never dined here, so can't comment on the ambience or service at the hotel. Staff who take our order over the phone are very courteous and patient though. The very unexpected and wonderful gesture by them was to surprise us with a delicious complimentary meal last night! It was so out of the blue and we were certain it was a goof up, but they told us it was all taken care of. Now who doesn't like being pampered this way huh 😉?

We had planned a family get-together at this place last night & one thing to say .. this was probably one of the most beautiful place ever visited. Not very far from the city, yet peaceful. This place has a very beautiful back water view. This place is best place for Bachelors, Couples & family reunion. Ample of parking space. Easy to locate, Near Khadakwasla dam on the way to Sihagad Fort. They have play area as well for small children. Have both Inner as well as outdoor seating arrangement. Soon they are planning to start pool lounge as well. Will definitely be interesting once that gets open. Staff is very much co-operative. Food quality was good & service was also better. In short we spent a memorable time. They do have stay arrangement as well. so will definitely give a try to this place once for stay as well.

The lake side ambience is great. The food is fine and inexpensive. Amazing place for a date on the outskirts of the city. The service is good. The staff, not so much. Also, they need to change the music! Plus, I think they could decorate it better than they have right now. They have a good view of the lake and they should use it to their advantage.

The resort is situated at a very beautiful place along the river! has all the basic resort amenities. the food and drinks are really good but pricey. the rooms are spacious and very hygienic. the only problem is the counter staff who need to be more well behaved and treat customers well.
One of the best destination away from Pune crowd. Perfect place to have 1 day short trip. Resort is maintained property and has awesome view of Khadakwasla backwater. We had non veg food with beer. Nice place with garden sitting on the edge of the Khadakwasla Dam... Nothing extraordinary about the food here...nothing to complaint about it as well though...but the overall facilities and ambiance of this place is worth experiencing....if you stay in Pune city. Worth being in this lake hill side resort for an overnight stay.
They have the amazing view of lake from their hotel and on the other side you can see the sunset so go in the event time when there's a cool breeze amazing view all over (of the sun setting as well as the clean lake view )
The culinary experience was forgettable. But the ambiance surely made a deep impact on my mind. It has ten times more waterfront area than Basho's Mulshi. Facilities are remarkably ship-shape, lawns are perfectly manicured and the tables placed right beside the Mulshi backwaters with a mild breeze flowing continuously and ducks frolicking right beside you is just perfect.
Coming back to the food, everything was too garlicky. Chicken Hot Pan was just too hot, Gobi Manchurian was quite good, even though it was made of big pieces of cauliflower instead of cabbage. Cheese Chilly Garlic Toast was quite hot too. It also had too much garlic and also too much cheese. Usually too much cheese is not a bad thing but this was just too much, enough to embarrass any self respecting cheese burst pizza.
Lake side view is beautiful. Food is ok fairly good and not expensive. Worth mentioning was the Veg hot pan suggested by the friendly staff. Overall had a calm n scenic experience even on a Saturday :)
Place is located just near Khadakwasla dam. You get a very good view of the backwaters if you are lucky to get a seat in the outdoors. The ambiance inside is pretty decent and clean. Food is not amazing but fairs well at the price and the location.
Tips: Please avoid going on weekends or public holidays as there is too much rush and you may end up sitting in the lawn with some uncomfortable chairs and dull tables. Service is also slow and they end up confusing on the orders.
Try Dishes: Chicken Salt and Pepper, Murg Sultani Kebab.
Alcohol is available and is priced decently and have a good enough bar to cater to the appetite.

A perfect place to be away from the city and have a delicious meal with a lakeside view! The experience was fantastic and they had put up the IPL matches with a projector on.. The price is bit costly though and i loved their chicken tandoori. It was pefectly tandoored. Bit disappointed with their Chinese preparations as, probably they might not specialise in it.. The overall experience was good and mainly i loved the lake view and loved the feel of cold wind that was brushing through me while having food!. They do accept credit and debit cards.. So a must visit place to chill around

Had been to this place last weekend and to my surprise this place is amazingly located next to khadakwasla. Very beautiful view and a well groomed place. The resort has no entry fees and you are free to roam around and order food as per your convinence. The food was also quite nice and reasonably priced. They have a kids play area which is extremely neat. And a grass lawn just to hang around with family. Toward the evening they had live music which was also relaxing with old Hindu songs. They had kept the volume to a reasonable high so our personal space was not disturbed by the music. I think it's a must visit for a good date, specially because of the view and also for a nice group or family outing. I am surely going back here.

Its a great place for hanging out with friends and even with family. There are 2 sections. One is an indoor section if u prefer to eat in cozy air-conditioned environment and other is the outdoor section right next to the khadakwasla lake which offers a spectacular view at night (great atmosphere to have drinks with your friends or even if u are out on a date). Food and drinks are average and moderately priced. I have been there like 5-6 times since it was right next to the place i was staying for some time. Definitely worth a visit once.
The place is different from all the other diners you puneites have been to. The lovely khadakwasla lake, the open lawn, adequate parking and the childrens park all add up to the points given to aquarius. The rating has been given also keeping in mind that this is the only proper restaurant offering you a decent venue and value on sinhagad road after a good day spent hiking to sinhagad fort or a late evening on khadakwasla lake. I say this with good authority after spending my times in pune for six months right next to the resort/restaurant. Do mind it ........ the staff is pretty rude at times sans efficiency and the chairs and tables offered are down right pathetic with plastic about to break written all over. But alas.... the only place near the fort and khadakwasla lake that may be to your liking. Aah.... and they also show all important sporting events on a projector screen.... good for the boyfriends and husbands.

The food was strictly average but it is prolly one of the better ones in the vicinity. The location more than made up for the food. Chilled winds from the Khadakwasla backwaters and the scenic beauty all around while having an outdoor lunch was a great experience.
They do have seating inside as well but I would recommend the outdoor seating when the weather permits. There's a children's play area with some well maintained swings for the kids to enjoy.
Overall a pleasant experience. You can make this your pit stop on the way back from Sinhagad fort.
