This place is our mecca since college days! Be it their large lassi to their authentic punjabi food. It has our heart! Lovely place! Feels home both food and ambience. Forever favourite in Viman Nagar! We keep coming here! Butter chicken is worth a mention! Must try! No miss!
I ordered aloo paratha & aloo kulcha with Curd & Chutney but instead got the achar & raita
Punjabi dhaaba a pretty small place located in viman Nagar, the place serves authentic punjabi cuisine with proper ingredients and recipe, went here for a sunday lunch with my friends and the decision of having a sunday lunch at this place turned out to be beyond amazing, the food and quantity of food served here really surprised us and made us so happy that we can't stop smiling after having each and every bite of the food.
Coming on to the foods which we ordered:
1)Butter chicken:The best butter chicken i had till now, it had zero sweetness with creamy texture and a slight tangy flavour of tomato, it was rich and flavourful and the half portion quantity is enough for 4 people. The chicken pieces were boneless and nicely cooked in tandoor and was topped with a damm spoon of butter which kept the moisture and richness.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED,
2)Sarso da saar makke di roti:The sarso da saar was balanced with spinach flavour and was flavourful and mild with smooth texture, the makke di roti was crisp and drenched in ghee, and it was served with jaggery, a superb combo to eat.
3)Patiala lassi:The lassi was rich, creamy, thick and had a balanced sweetness and was topped with dry fruits, the crunch of dry fruits and the smooth and creamy taste of lassi came out of the world on palate, the glass was huge and we really struggled to finish the entire glass of lassi.
Will again say that this butter chicken is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Punjabi Dhaba is one of the most pocket friendly restaurants in Viman Nagar. The food, the lassi everything is so finger licking good. It's a perfect place for people who love desi food. The quantity and the quality both are perfect. Though it's crowded at peak hours but the food is worth the wait. ♥️
Recommend : Sarsoon Ka Saag and Makke de Roti Thali , Butter Chicken , Lassi , Rajma Chawal
Best place to have authentic Makke ( Corn flour ) Roti and Sarsoon da Saag . Serves authentic Punjabi dishes , delicious in taste and generous in portion. Try out their Lassi also.
Unexpectedly wounded up at this point around 10pm at night when it's hard to even find decent food options. The place seems to be frequented by students and people who stay away from home but don't want to miss ghar ka khaana. Since It was a Punjabi place, I ordered my favourite rajma chawal with boondi raita and I was surprised by the quantity, quality and pricing. A mere 140 rupee meal was enough to satisfy my hunger and taste buds. Service was very prompt, quick and cordial. Would love to keep coming for more of that home cooked punjabi flavour.
We just wanted a quick lunch as it was already late in the afternoon. Ordered paneer tikka masala with a few rotis and naan. The gravy tasted great. Also went for a veg raita which was really refreshing. The staff aren't very friendly. Or else do give it a visit for some great Punjabi food :)

I visited this place yesterday and was absolutely confused what to order and equally hungry.. owner was so polite and friendly that he immidiately pitched in and with a smiling tone suggested keema kulcha and kheer.. I was so mesmerized with the food as well as the behavior... I was the last customer of the day but the owner himself was so energetic and had a pleasant smile throughout.. would recommend this place if you are looking for quality time and value for money... Personal recommendation try kheer it's awesome and will give you a trance of homely taste as the ingredients will literally blast in your mouth with full swing...
Great job guys..
The Punjabi kulcha with chole and the real glass of lassi topped with dry fruits takes you back to authentic taste of Amritsar. The place to be for all foodies with friends.
Not a grand place to look at but the food is yummy.
It's a small place benched between two shops.
Had chicken rice plate and butter chicken with mirchi paratha and lota chaach.
The food was delicious and filling, quantity also is good.
Service was also good. If you are not bothered about ambience this place is a place you must visit.
One of the best place to have Delhi style food .
Pocket and friendly and what shall I say about the taste .
Must try : Kadhi pakoda, butter chicken , aloo kulcha with chole
And yes don’t forget kheer
Give it a try trust me you will thanks me later
After trying many places and getting disappointed I had given up all hope to find an Authentic Delhi style Chole kulche ,untill A friend introduced this place to me.The chole and The melt-in-the-mouth Stuffed kulchas completely satiated the need.
Next up we tried the Pakoda Kadhi and jeera rice which was also amazing. Ispite of being full stomach after having chole kulcha I couldnt help, but lapped up the full serving of Pakoda Kadhi and jeera rice.
Many more things to try in my next visit which would be soon .
If you love north indian food , this place is a must try if you are craving for Amazing authentic North Indian food.
As they says in the name, it is a DHAABA but man they serve some good north indian food! The patiala lassi is a must try here if you got a good appetite. The tall glass can easily serve 4 regular sized people though!
The food here is fantastic, the best Punjabi food you could get in town. We’d ordered for dal makhani, chole, wheat roti and pulav and it was all delicious. The dal makhani especially was brilliant. The place offers amazing food with good value for money :)
Budget friendly restaurant with ample food. We ordered chicken Kadai(qtr) and it was tasty and served two. They have 3 options in food menu: full, half and quarter which I liked, in such way you know how much you need and no food gets waste. If you are looking for low budget restaurant and your stomach needs more food, go for it. Not forget to mention the lassi here. It was yummy and is available in different glasses as per your needs.
Home delivered via Uber Eats. Great taste. Neat packaging. Good combos. Loved the food and will order again. Kulchas were soft and well stuffed. Paalak paneer was perfect. The Dal makhani and rajma combos were also sufficient and tasty. Cheers.
Well visit this place for having good food in good rates. The place doesn't seems hyped but food is tasty. Loved the taste. Service was good but can be more efficient.
It is a heaven for non-veg lovers. Every dish is purely authentic punjabi. The taste is good, and I had a good time. The ambience might not be that good, but the food is awesome.
The seating etc can be better, but the food was really great. Rotis and naan were a little dry but that’s okay. Kadhai paneer and dal makhani were amazing. Definitely recommend. Even sweet lasi was great.
Authentic North Indian Taste and pure Punjabi flavours. Punjabi Dhaba, stands to its name. It's light on your wallet and fulfilling your hunger. From veg to Non veg, everything has a different taste and are all mouth watering. Love the place and taste.
This place feels like home. A small restaurant with a big heart. Homely flavours. When in doubt and in Viman Nagar drop in for some wholesome meals.
Special Mention: Kheer.
Good food quality, service and ambiance real desi punjabi food all food very good test which we ordered and rate is also affordable, approx Rs- 500/- for two people Rating 4 Due to seating arrangement not comfortable otherwise good restaurants.
Simply Good!
Totally Punjabi ji..!
This dhaba has an authentic taste of Punjabi food, we ordered paneer tikka masala, dal makhani, butter rotis and jeera rice.
Dal makhani was truly delicious 💖 it had the perfect balance of spice and sourness, unlike at many restaurants that have a bit of sweet taste to it. So would definitely recommend it.
Sabji was good too and butter roti was also one that I loved. It was fluffy, full (not excess either) of butter and soft.
All those who love Punjabi food should visit this place for sure.
(पैसे खाने के दो sirf ambience के नहीं 😉)
Roti were a bit under cooked

Punjabi dhaaba a place where all north people got attracted to. This is not for ambience but ya for good its a great place. The food quality was and the quantity was also good. The lassi is taste like best. Because its tough to find a good lassi in pune. The service was average not so fast.
Value for money - 5/5
Quantity and quality - 4/5
Ambience - 3/5
This place is my go to place when I crave home made food. Their egg curry, aloo gobhi, Chole never disappoints. The chicken is chewy usually and not as good. But veg main course is always consistent and awesome.
Rajma and rice is awesome...
Everything about this place is awesome.
But sometime I felt the quality drops drastically, might be due to owners unavailability to check the quality.
This is one of the best places to have some really good North-Indian food in Viman Nagar. Though, not the best ambience I would say since it is a small restaurant which is mostly packed. Loved the aloo kulche served here. Also tried naan and butter chicken, which were delicious as well.
A place where you can enjoy non veggetarian food , finger licking and mouth watering food even the vegans can enjoy the taste of the food.
Know for its taste.
the Dal Makhani could be better. in fact, it used to be.

The food was very good both in taste as well as in quality. They take care of the extra note provided along with the order. Best quality and taste with respect of the price. Totally worth of the money.
