Good place to enjoy some tasty food. seating is mostly for bachelors but family option is available too. I would recommend to try delivery for family though .Should try once.

Conveniently located on Mumbai Pune highway near kasarwadi it is amazing taste and ample parking are usp.
It is basically divided in 2 section the lower deck and the upper deck.
The lower deck is one hell of an experience. It is one of those filmy spots for drinking and has a lot of noise and loud take the clientele out here is not really amazing . It has its own vibe.
The upper deck is bit better with also a family section. The acholol choices are limited.
The food is just awesome the bhakari and mutton rassa is very spicy infact aptly spicy. The bhakaris are good and the size is very good.
Must visit.
By far the best place to have Great Gavran Chicken. Mutton sukha is gasmic! Their rassa wati is ‘Mind Blasting’!
I visit here atleast once every week.

Not a place to go with family or females. May be its ok to go with male friends. Full marks for taste and quality. Price is fair. 500 to 600 for two.Try Indrayani rice and aalni rassa (red chicken curry). Chicken / Mutton Thalis are the best. Hygiene is ok.
Don't go here for the ambience or the decor, you'll be disappointed.
But what makes up for it is their superb Gavran Mutton thali / handi & Mutton biryani. Chicken dishes are very good too. They are lips smacking and very reasonably priced. The amount of mutton you get here in 1 biryani makes up for 2 large biryanis served anywhere in pune!!
Gavran mutton prepared in "kaala masala" is their specialty. Get rassa vati n normal rice to go with it & you'll have a very tasty n fulfilling meal.
They serve alcohol too.
Foodie in me compels to give it 5 stars just because of their unbeatable gavran masala taste.
You can get village side taste only here and no where in Pune.

Visited this place multiple times and chicken masala is one of the favorite dish of mine. Chicken sukha is also good. Must go place for non-veg lovers. Not recommended for ladies.
Although this place is very close to my house, I heard about it very late, and ,boy, how much I missed it already!! Its a heaven for Non Veg lovers especially if you are craving for the spicy Chicken Curry (Saoji style from Nagpur).
Chicken Thali is the most common dish there served either along with Bajri/Jowar Bhakri or Chapati. As the name suggests, the chicken is skinny 'Gavran' and not the broiler ones. But it tastes much better. Have it with a bottle of beer and you wont go wrong. Mutton is served as well but I cant comment on that as I haven't tasted it yet.
Being an old-style bar, don't expect courteous waiters and nice ambiance. Its not a place where I will take my family with. Rather I would get a parcel for my family.
To conclude, this is the place whenever I feel like having a SPICY chicken curry in Marathi style.

One of the best joint for Non Veg lovers, a must visit place. I prefer only Chicken so can comment only about it, Im tring many restaurents for Maharashtrian Chicken and finally my search is over on Shilpa Gavran. Variety is limited but still has an ability to prove the quality of food. Do not forget to ask for Rassa Vaati, its must try dish. Not recommended for families with ladies. For Boys only parties its best place.

Rassa is the thing why people attract towards this place. For Starter or for Chakhana ;) maximum crowds preference is chicken/mutton curry, which is by the way awesome. I am not so regular to this place but I must say it is the best place for Budgeted parties of bachelor life.
I like another thing about Hotel Shilpa is their Sitting Arrangements are like dhaba.

Place is awesome for gavran chiken and mutton. Mutton means of sheep and goat.
I specially like aalni rassa wati. It's clear chickn/mutton soup. It goes very well.
Nice dhaba type sitting arrangement. Service is good. Just be sure not to start political inflused discussion while there. You may run into crowd who are sensitive of such matter. You know, many get sensitive after drinks. :)
btw, they have front entry and reserver family area so ladies and kids can join. Check before u visit.
This is a very good place for spicy masaledaar non veg.
The chaarpai gives a very 'gavraan' feel. Aalni rassa and Rassa vati is amazing.

Visited this place for party, mainly for non-veg. The non-veg you get here is awesome. Do try Rassa Vati - one of the best here. You will mostly see guys for party, get to gather since it served both purpose non-veg with drink and budget friendly.

Its best for nonveg food lover, & who drinks. Basically the authentic test of gavran chicken with black gravy you can only found here. No other else you can get such pure authentic black gavran gravy. Mutton and chicken is totally awesome.

Went to this place with wife. 1st chicken thali was very delicious. So we ordered second, but second chicken thali was not that good. We can easily differentiate between both thalis..it's mixed reviews from my side. We went to pimple nilakh branch.

Chicken cooked in spicy dry masala.
Chicken chilli - ₹ 270 chicken chilli with capicum and oriental sauce.

Assal gavran mutton. For real Marathi gavran mutton lovers. This hotel is a gem and you will never find similar recipe in cities. Order mutton thali with bajari chi bakhari and mutton sukka and thank me later. I am proud of my Marathi heritage and this is our recipe.

Mutton thali is awesome, it's cooked in black masalas. Don't expect pandhra/tambda rassa type thali here. If you're biryani fan, their mutton biryani is very good too. Amount of mutton quantity they put in biryani is good enough for making 3 biryanis at expensive places. Ambience is below average, so visit only if you're a foodie.
