Parsi iranian style of decor with Photo frames on the wall.
Overall Full paisa vasool place! 😛

Food is Good, Tasty and Up to the mark.
They Primarily serve Breakfast
Excellent Cheese Bun Omlette
Tea is not up to the mark as i preffer Irrani chai,. Others may like it.
You can say they prepare LAMBAA PAANI CHAI and not PAANI KAM
People may find the Place a bit noisy as there are no saperate sections for Family
A very cool place to go and grab some snack or tea during the day o afternoon.
I visited this place when I was exploring food places in Pune and to my surprise I really loved this place. they serve Bun Maska and Jam and I just loved it.
Also they make amazing tea and the Bun Maska is just Cherry on the Cake.
Amazing place for the breakfast. Evry item was wao! Specially CHAI was very good. Bun maska , omelette , toast was very tasty . Blessed to have such an amazing breakfast .
One of the oldest places in Pune. Located in Camp area. Visited this while roaming around in the market nearby. Place offers Irani Chai, Bun Maska, Bun Maska Jam. Very price friendly. Crowded during evening tea time. Very simple and low priced menu.
The best thing about this place is its vibe; calm and warm.
The cheese omelette and scrambled eggs(with wafers) with Broon butter is perfect to kick start the day.
I usually don't have milk based tea, but couldn't stop myself from having the Irani chai and dip butter laden Broon in it.
Just the right amount of sweetness and perfect to begin your day with a treat to your tummy.
Must try Double cheese omelette. A place only for foodies who love ratings eggs. No ambience. Rating is only for the delicious bhurji, omelette, half try and irani chai. A perfect place for break fast.
Typical Irani Cafe, Crowded with patrons n too noisy.
Try Omelettes, Bun Maska n Tea. Service is quick, Ambience is average n noise levels are unbearable. They also keep Ardeshirs soft drinks which are available in different flavours like Lemon, Orange, Raspberry etc for which I visit here.
Thank you guys for your hospitality.
A small yet beautiful place for a perfect evening snacks or morning breakfast.Very good quality tea and actually felt very fresh after having it.
Best Irani cafe in Camp area. Most pocket friendly place to visit. Place is small but food is great. Recommendations: Cheese double omelet, Double scrambled egg with sali.
Since ages the place serves you with one of the best quality #Tea and other food products.
Crowded throughout the day with tea lovers.
I love the tea as well as bun omelette & bread butter
Quite economical to grab a quick bite.
The best place to begin your day with a good breakfast. Cheeseomlette and BunMaska with Chai my personal favourites at this place. This place has been running since ages, very famous for their tea and cheese omlettes. Obviously, you cant expect the best ambience as its usually packed and noisy, mostly need to wait to get a place during peak hours.A very famous place in camp and a must visit.
ITS a Authentic Iconic Iranian Cafe very near by MG Road in Camp Area this place is amazing really affordable most of the time crowded is very famous for Iranian Tea Bun Maska Butter Toast and cheese Omelette do visit u will enjoy
A great place for snacks if you are near Pune Camp area. Being a well known place for years this place is crowded most of the times. Still it won't trouble you to grab a table as it has enough seating to handle rush hours.
Who can resist their bun maska and flavourful Irani tea?!? All time favourite! Probably my grandpa's age..a classic cafe that has seen generations ..
Fab place!!! Probably the only place left in Pune for the tasty food... Cheese toast, bread butter toast, Double cheese omelette and Bun Double Maska are must try every time!!!! Fantastic Taste always... 🙂
Your quint essential Parsi cafe. The omlet, the bun Maska and tea - in the old part of Pune . Well takes you back in time . Would definitely recommend for a breakfast . And pretty cheap as well. (If that’s not 140 words don’t really know what else to add )
One of oldest places to have a very refreshing cup of Irani Chai and Bun maska The place is great and full of life in the main part of Pune ,Like most Parsi food places The rates have remained the same and you get your value for money .This place is opposite Dorabjee and Son's and offers a great back up option also for a good lunch Highly recommended and great value for money
I was in the area looking for some light snacks. I am so glad I stopped. Service was quick and informative. Food was good. I will be back again..
Visited them today, had Lassi and tea. Both were good and the place was crowded . Did not try anything to eat on the menu as we have already had lunch. Both the sweet Lassi and tea were nice and we really liked the same. Will visit then again to try out the food stuff when visiting camp area.
Good place...fair ambience
Special tea was just out of the world...
Food tastes yummy😊
Must visit place before you die in Pune.
I mean I think the Salli and the bread they serve is their own product.
It tastes like heaven😇😇😇
After reading so many reviews about this "Authentic Irani Cafe" I finally visited this place. And without much talking, I'll finish this review real quick.
So, what I ordered? Obviously, Bun Maska, Irani Chai and Egg Bhurji (which is called Scrambled Egg, here!)
Now, to talk about taste: Scrambled eggs were not too spicy despite of adding a lot of green chillies (maybe my taste buds are adjusted to more spiciness).
Bun Maska and Chai was totally awesome. There are no other words to describe. Hands down to this!
The service. Hmm! It was a little slow. And the waiter was little absent minded too! Because I ordered scrambled eggs of single egg only and instead he served me double. And also I had to ask him twice to serve me chai for the second time. Apart from these, there are no issues.
Ambiance: Good old school Irani Cafe which will give a nostalgic feeling to so many people.
So my verdict
Taste: 3
Service: 2.5
Ambiance: 3
Value for money: 4 (Very cheap)
One of the best Iranian tea and brun Maska place in camp ... I love this joint and couldn’t get a better tea and brun butter .. highly recommended
Cafe yezdan takes you to the time when there used to be no online payment facility, no television. It's a place which has able to maintain it's Grass Roots of following the traditional parsi cuisine. We ordered Tea, bun maska , single omlette, and bread bhurji.
The omlette lacked salt, which gave a very bad impression about this Cafe at first
I liked the special masala they used for bhurji, although that was mild, however I was able to trace it. kudos to my sharp tongue 😎.
What I liked the most was the quality of bread, I mean I have never ever seen such a fine quality of bread in India till now.
Overall it's a good cafe, but needs more improvisation.
After having a disappointing and half hearted breakfast at Dorabjees we moved onto another iconic and old parsi place in the same lane. The place is a typical parsi-irani place with a very old world charm to it.
Now the menu here is more limited then dorabjees but it is more popular for its no frills breakfast stuff like bun maska tea, omlette etc.
The place was bustling and we found the only avialable table in a corner near the entrance which gave a nice view of the surroundings.
We ordered masala omlette, scrambled eggs with sali, cheese toast and the not to be missed brun pav maska.
Except for the cheese toast which was a miss the other stuff was lipsmackingly good. Nothing too fancy just plain old stuff which is repeatedly done to perfection. We had their special tea and the very popular raspberry soda to wash the stuff down.
The pricing is very cheap and nothing on the menu is above 50rs.
Superb taste ! Authentic Parsi-Irani Cafe Feel ! Too good ! Excellent service and ambience ! Surely recommended if you wanna have a really delicious breakfast !!
This place is amazing. Really affordable. The food here is great. The chai is worth a try. They serve Adreshi drink here. Service is good and quick.
Food- 4.5/5
Service- 3.5/5
Ambience- 3.5/5.
This place is one of the classic cafes of Pune, specialising in Maharashtrian specialities like Bun Maska, Butter Toast, Cheese Omlette, etc. The tea here is to die for. There is a certain old school charm in this place and I love to come back here again and again.
The decor is nice and classic but the photos of flowers are unnecessary. The only drawback of this place is that they do not accept cards. But then, the old school charm and pay by only cash thing goes hand in hand.
I keep visiting this place, you should definitely visit once if you haven't already.
Cheers!
:)
I love this cafe.. 😍😋
Best cheese omelette in pune.
I tried many cafes in pune but still yezdan is best n cheap.
Always try double cheese omelette in just 45rs😁
Tea is not that good, its just ok.

A perfect authentic Parsi food place.
There's nothing extraordinary in this place, ambience is quite simple and matches the cuisine.
Service is impressive and quick.
Worth a visit and great place for breakfast.

Vintage Irani cafe - Legacy maintained since 1964!
I have nostalgic memories of college days in Cafe Yezdan, It used to be the meeting place for people of all walks. Round blackish chairs, small tables, big windows with shutters and brick design on the outer wall. The ambience is typical Parsi Iranian style of decor with photo frames on the wall, menu on board. What I loved here is the great old world charm and the aura you get here! It serves some delectable variety of eggs, Brun-Bun Maska Pav, Bhurji, Omelette, Sodas and few more. Cheese Omelette - Mouth watering! Omelette is loaded with cheese which gives an extra edge to taste.
Egg Bhurji was so tasty that it is a perfect amount of spicy and it is worth to try. Bread was so big in size that 2 slices of bread are more than enough. Ardeshir’s soda which is so popular in Camp area, serving so many generations, was way refreshing.
Low on money, but high on taste, this place is a must try.
Heard lots about this place and finally visited during Ramzan season. As heard it is best as its name.It stands in a row of many legendary old authenticate places in Pune and they have very nicely maintained their quality and authenticity over the years.
Don't go over its ambiance just sit and ordered special Irani chai and Muska pav. Then go over Broon Butter Jam (its wheat bread ) then Sali scrambled eggs and double egg omelets and hear your kickass day is ready.
I would say if you are visiting Camp area and done with all authenticated, legendary, famous places them cafe Yezdan is must visit place.
This is another landmark in Camp in Pune. Last I visited this place was in 1992. True to its reputation its the Vaishali if this end of town with regulars who come here for their daily cups of tea, bun maska etc. Again this visit was between meetings and having the Irani chai and bun masks was like a reminder of the college days.
Visit to yet another legend on the circuit completed.
Nothing much to talk about ambience but a very old place with the vintage value.
Usual irani stuff..tea, bun Maska, omelette, sandwiches.
Had an Irani Tea with Bun Maska and Bun Jam. Though the buns weren't as soft as they should be, still worth a visit to experience a part of gastronomic history of the city.
Double cheese Egg omelet with bread for breakfast best to have it there and Tasty too Ban maska is also Mast. Its really good staff and management there service is also good They dont take much time service is fast and quick
It's my endeavour to visit as many Irani cafes as possible because there is some beauty about catching up on breakfast on a weekend at an Irani cafe. Came to Pune and the closest Irani cafe open at 7am in the morning we cafe yezdan. As every other Irani cafe this one was beautiful as well. Had tea, double egg bhurji, cheese bun omelette.
The tummy was super happy super early. There is nothing like a hangover treatment like Irani cafes. Recommended to all foodies and anyone who loves drinking on a Friday night
Drink hard! Eat harder!
Cafe Yezdan takes you back to the time when screens didn't rule our lives. It is laid back.. well i won't say you can sit and chat there as the place is always brimming with people. So we ordered masala chai, butter toast, jam and butter and one bun masala omelette.
Everything tasted so homemade ( not in a bad way, infact in a warm and fuzzy way). The food was really good and so affordable. When we were the for an hour and I was the only female around.
So giving a shout out to all those women foodies if you think of visiting this place, you will be welcomed with long unromantic ogling, followed by good food.
Situated in the heart of old MG road is an authentic Irani restaurant serving the most genuine & homely taste of chai, bread, omelettes or bun maska.
We ordered a simple toast butter & toast butter jam which was loaded with butter like literally dripping & it tasted just right with chai.
Also ordered a bun cheese omelette & when we dug into it the flavours reminded us of the breakfast served at home. It was simply amazing.
It's a good option to have breakfast or snacks all day. The only downside we felt was there were too many men & its kind of uncomfortable if you've got a female friend along. A lot t of eyes ogling around.
If you're in a group or alone do visit this place if you're looking for authentic Irani chai along with homely tasting snack options.
Awesome place. Awesome food. Must visit for breakfast. Loved the special tea. Fast service. Affordable rates. Visit early morning for broon.
Today morning, just wanted to have some thing else, our morning 7am drive took us to Cafe yezdan. Remember the old days of work,. We tried double omelet with bread, Bun Butter Jam 😘 and two special chai... Damage to pocket only 110rs 😋...
And enjoyed the break fast and to mention all the tables were full.......
A vintage irani cafe what you can expect all you get here right from the tasty bun maska to scrambled egg to jam bread and toast are surely must try one . A must visit place if roaming in camp area
A trip to camp is never complete without a glass of Yezdan's Special Chai. The Iranian Chai with extra butter is to die for. Try the chai after a couple of Chicken cutlets opp. Dorabjees.
The best CAFE till now in Pune..Most of the Cafes in Pune have either turned into hotels or they are being renovated (which loses the essence of Cafe) except Cafe Yezdan..
Food here is very good..
Cheese omelet with toast butter followed by tea..

This place has been my morning fix for a great Omelette and Coffee for the last few months. Anything you try at this Legendary (No Frills) Place is gold. I have tried almost 3/4 of the menu and my top favs are the Cheese Omelette, the Salli Scramble Eggs & the Egg Burji. Yes, this place only serves Eggs, and is still legendary! a perfect accompaniment to your Eggs would be their equally famous Bun Maska or Cheese Bun Maska. Make sure to order their awesome brewed coffee or was it all down with a bottle of the famous Adheshir Flavored Sodas (Ice cream & Pineapple are my favs!) So, I guess it time to head down for my morning fix! you'll sure spot me there!
One of the few Irani cafe's in town. This place is a hidden gem. People usually recall goodluck and vouheman only when it comes to irani cafe. If gives you the same old rustic and wonderful feeling of being in an irani cafe with a better and quieter ambiance. I would definitely recommend you guys to visit here once.
Amazing breakfast joint, nice Bhurji, omlette, toast, bun butter and jam, broon maska. All items are good, quick service and tea is also good. 👍👍👍
My love for Irani bakeries and breakfast joints is never ending! Love the Bun Maska and Cheese Omelette - the only thing that can get me up and about on a Sunday morning :)
Best for its bun maska and chai and also the saali scramble. Goof food . Typical Irani joint. Love the place. Service is good prices a pocket friendly and experience is great. Parking is a issue but we park a distance and walk, worth it .
Irani breakfast joints are a huge hit with me and my hubby. Since we usually end up going to Vohuman, this time we went to Yezdan. Decent cheese toast and superb chai. Though Yezdan cannot match the cheesiness and the vibe of Vohuman; it’s nevertheless a good option.
Waking up early on a cold morning is a challenge, but the premise of having an early breakfast is something that allures me to wake up and drive almost 15 kms. Cafe Yezdan is located in the lanes of camp and is by no means a way that i can remember. The parking can be an issue if you have a four wheeler, i would suggest you go on a two wheeler (it just makes the ride worthy too).
The interiors are basic and none too flashy, the large windows overlook the busy streets and the place was almost full even at 7.15 am on a Sunday morning.
We ordered:
- Chai
- Bun Muska
- Cheese Omelette
- Saali scrambled eggs
The food is really good and easy on the pocket too. The two things where Yezdan stands out is the service time and the laziness with which they would allow you to have your food. Unlike other cafes where you need to wait for quite some time for your order, the service at Yezdan is lightening quick despite being packed to capacity. They don't keep pestering you either to vacate the table just as soon as you are done with the food either. That is something that scores very well on the cards.
I will visit soon again to try some other things on the menu.

It is a great place to hanging out with friends and family way back from hectic schedule and also test of all the item specially cheese omelet keep us tempting to grab it...😋
Visit once yours feet will automatically stubborn to go frequent to this place👍
What a wonderful experience!
The setting - Perfect,
The atmosphere - Perfect,
Food - Lovely!
Chai, bun muska, double cheese omelette. The bill stays below 100. Pocket-friendly. Very satisfactory.
A perfect spot for the food-loving people to hang out, to talk, and to have a good time.
Happy Fooding!
One of the old and authentic irani breakfast place in pune!!
Loved their cheese omelette. The cheese inside that was so thick. There were cubes of cheese in that omelette!!!
They are known for their tea. Authentic irani chai you can say!!!
The egg bhurji lacked in the spice. Like an authentic egg bhurji is supposed to be a bit spicy!!
Really pocket friendly place.
If you are looking for a good sunday breakfast this is the place ti visit!!!
The most Authentic parsi breakfast experience in pune. Don't miss the Broon maska n chai. If u are hungry then the double cheese Omelette is a must have😋✌👍
If there was a rating between 4 and 5, I would give it a 4.2*. The place is cosy and has a old, typically "Irani" charm to it. A place to visit for a morning bread breakfast or a late noon chai time. The food is really cheap, but nevertheless delicious. The omlettes, bun butter, sandwiches and special chai are all equally good. A place to remember!
Cafe Yezdan is been around for ages and serves a decent omelette wit Chai and Toast. Ofcourse it pales in comparision to contemporary rivals like Kohinoor or Vohuman's but it does offer a slightly cheaper alternate to them.....
Though Vohuman is more popular but taste is better at Cafe Yezdan, when it comes to irani joints. Had tried Bun Butter jam, Egg fry double and chai.
A must visit place.
Good place and great value for money. Had Chai and Bun Maska, liked it. Would visit more to try different things here.
PS: They but a good amount of butter in the bread.
authentic irani cafe that has kept up to its reputation. Serves great Bun Maska and Omelette to top it with a HOT Irani Chai. Always smiling staff too.
This place is really cheap. Bun maska chai and full fry is the best here. This is 1 of my 3 fav places for bun muska and chai. Every punekar must try out this place
Famous for Irani Chai I had heard about the place from quite a few people. Lazy Sunday morning, nostalgia and freshness of bun Maska makes for the trapping of the place. Not really a clean place, the place will remain famous for the old time charm and the always smiling folks.
Sunday mornings...and again the craving for irani chai, bun maska and the rustic mood brought me to Yezdan.
This was more of reliving the old school days. This cafe justifies the status it carries for so many years. The interiors are revamped since the time i visited but the dim lights, wooden chairs and the hot vapors from teapots coming out of the open kitchen are just benchmarks of such places. We shared our table with a stranger...again a feature reminding of the days gone by.
We ordered the double bread omelette, cheese omelette, butter toast. A homely breakfast nothing fidgety with the taste and served lightening fast. The irani chai here is unique with a tad more of water than the thick irani chai one is used to. Just one observation though that the bun could have been more fresh as it would have nailed the overall breakfast.
Overall a wonderful place to start your day with no impact on your wallet.
I have been here few times n always ate butter toast.. so this time again I ordered the same bread butter toast and Bhurji.. n guess what!!! It was half cooked :'( I just hate raw eggs.. n that killed my mood for breakfast... I dont think I'll order that again here...
The best breakfast I have had after a long time. The Brun Butter & Tea was Fantastic & filling too.....i love to visit Cafe Yezdan again & again with my friends.......
One of the surviving Irani Bun-maska cafes which recently got a makeover, Yezdan is known for its eggs and slightly watery variant of Irani milk tea unlike some other thicker ones available in the neighbourhood. In my opinion, Yezdan is the only good exponent of this consistency; while Vohuman may be revered Yezdan is definitely of a superior quality.
Toast butter, bun, broon are all loaded with butter. The ambience, punctuated by old thin furniture and sparse light straying in from the worn out street is a romantic's delight.
And the eggs - gently seasoned omelette, fried eggs, bhurji are all must haves. Especially recommended for a peaceful winter or monsoon breakfast after a gruelling workout.
A great memory, this place. Continues to satisfy.
Typical Parsi eatery! Good food and rude waiters! Happened to go for a breakfast. It's a tiny place bustling with people of all ages! Grownups chatting over tea and newspapers or college students sharing the small tables! Do visit if you like dipping bun maska in your tea before eating! Cheers!

Best place to fulfill your breakfast need,
Affordable price, good quantity and excellent taste.
I feel the quality of yazdan and wohumens are almost same but the latter being the favourite of the younger crowd.but office vise yazdan is much more competitive.
Love the combination of strawberry soda with omelette
One of my absolute favourites in Pune. Other breakfast places come and go. Stood the test of time. Have been a regular here for almost 25 years, ever since my father first got me here as a 6 yr old kid. Try any of their egg preparations, you'll be satisfied. Their bun/broon maska is one of the best around. Jam lovers must try their in-house made jam. Two thumbs up!
Though this place has been famous for ages; on my visit to Yezdan, I wasn't very convinced about it.
The food is average, and there isn't 't anything exceptionally good about any of their food items.
However, Cafe Yezdan is a good option if you'd like to visit an old Parsi Cafe and experience the authenticity that they offer.
The individual ratings are:
Food: 3/5
Hospitality: 4/5
Hygiene: 1/5 [This is not because the place is old, this is because the cutlery was unclean.]
Authentic.thats the only word that comes to my mind. Enjoyed omelette and bun maska but I must say the cheese omelette is no way good than vohuman . only cheese omelette sucks.
Authentic. That's the only word that can do justice to those place. The original Parsi breakfast places are less in number but trust me they are unbelievably amazing.
So coming to the point, despite a limited options to choose they take pride in what is served and rightly so. If you love tea this is a must try place or if u hate it try this to change your mind. So for food I'd give this a 4.5
Ambience - if u want a fancy restaurant with a view this is not that. Its a modest place in the vicinity of mg road.
Service - it's shockingly faster than you can think of. And everyone is really polite.
Value for 💰 -...I'm still waiting for someone to show me a place that can beat this one.
Over all its a very much recommend place for students and family alike for breakfast and especially if you don't want a whole in your pocket and yet want to tantalise those taste buds.
A good place . The bun maska is quite good along with the Irani chai . But the omellette is not in the same league as that of Vohuman or Cafe Goodluck
I just live this place for five years i continuously had breakfast there. This restaurant has some kind of soothing effects which gives you the feel of sitting in some old 70's restaurant with parsi man wearing a red cap sitting at the counter and pleases you everytime with warmth and smiling face. It bun maska, chai, omelette, burji, toast, jeera drink, everything is worth having. Must go for everyone who visit camp area in pune.
A very small cafe located in camp! Had heard a lot about this place, so really wanted to try this out! And yeah it was worth it, Not that heavy on the pocket! You need to try tea and cheese omelette, you won't be disappointed 😁
Great breakfast that makes your wallet smile. Everything's freshly prepared. They've got a limited menu, but everything on it is good. Lacks Parsi Authenticity though.
Make sure you visit with enough time on hand.
Ordered the double omelette, cheese toast, butter toast, brun maska and chai. The omelettes aren't spectacular but pretty basic and effective. The fun is in the butter with fresh bread. Chai was also good but too sweet for me. Been coming here for ages and don't see any reason to stop visiting. Once in a while kinda breakfast :)
Nice place to enjoy a good irani breakfast.. eating at Cafe Yezdan does not make me miss my moms amammaaaziing omlete.. the taste is so homely..value for money .. must visit.
A normal looking cafe with menu almost same as Vohuman. Bun maska is ok ok. Tea ia good. Toast is good. Omellete is average, should be more spicy and have flavour. If you are around MG road, ita near by and should be tried once.
Review no.49, date of visit - 11th December , 2015.
The perfect breakfast joint!
The usual features of a Parsi eatery. Small dingy place, friendly service and a limited but delicious menu. No complaints and high on VFM.
Was ravenous when I arrived. So single handedly gorged down on bun butter, 2 teas, scrambled eggs with sali and a cheese omlette. Everything was just perfect. Great place to be on a lazy Sunday or Saturday morning.
Anyone having trouble locating it - this is just beside the dorabjee's restaurant.
This place needs no introduction, Yes! One of my most favourite places, placed in camp, among the old buildings where I used to hang out for my early breakfast.. You ought to have Irani chai and bun maska, toast butter and bun maska omelette are the must try.. Would suggest you visit this place in morning..
Love the bun masks jam and the omlette sandwich.Love watching the staff work right from the chef making the omllete to the buttering and jamming of the burn and bun.Not one for the faint hearted regards the use of buttttterrrrrr....The speed an awareness of the staff is amazing...
This is one place where you have to try out their chai. Amazing taste!! Tried their Bun maska and Toast omelette. Both were excellent. Since then have been to this place 5-6 times and will keep coming back for more chai and omelette !!
