Visited with my parents after a recommendation from a fellow food blogger... she was raving about the chocolate icecream...
Tried 3 flavours of icecreams from here
Belgian Chocolate chip icecream - Rs85 a must have! It was soft, delicious and creamy β€οΈ no ice at all and big chocolate chip pieces π and not over the top sweet π€©
Roasted almond icecream -Rs70 loved the taste and crunch of the almond π
Dry fruit icecream -Rs75 good amount of dry fruits, slightly on the sweeter side...
All three were delicious π
They had an offer of buy 1 get 1 free so got both the almond and dry fruit ice cream at Rs 75 (price of 1)
Waffle cone costs Rs15 extra

I visited the place for our dark chocolate love. We wanted to have something from dark chocolate ans it was not disappointing. We tried Belgium dark and Belgium dark with roasted almond. Both were really yum.
They have huge list and variations. must visit if you are ice cream lover.
Great place for ice cream! They've got some wonderful fresh fruit flavours, but a personal favourite is the meetha paan - a must try if you like paan.
They serve coffee, tea and milkshakes as well, so make sure to try them out.
Run by a sweet couple, they're more than happy to help with anything.

I love the most of the flavors and it is even better when youcan taste them before deciding what you really want. The place is run by a couple who are more than happy to help you out with deciding.
I you recommend they do something bout the cooling in their shop.. We went there at around 10pm and the place was hotter than what it was outside.
The Belgian dark chocolate and chocolate chip ice creams are my absolute favorites. I haven't tried other flavors yet but I am definitely willing to. Ice creams are creamy and delicious. Must try!
2 year old ice cream parlour chain from Bangalore. Excellent ice cream. I went ballistic and had a double scoop of Belgian chocolate almond and polish vanilla almond. Deadly duo !!!!
Hands down the best ice-cream I have had in the NIBM area. Anjeer, belgian chocloate and caramel are my fav! Very nice neighborhood ice cream pit stop.

Heard about this place from a friend who suggested that I had to try their green mirchi Icecream ..
First things first .. The packaging of this outlet is terrible and flimsy .. Icecream oozing out of everywhere ..
Portion size is on the low side and the price is on the higher side for the size of the scoop they provide
4 points is purely for the taste and nothing else ( perfect 5 if they improve on the other aspects mentioned earlier )
Green mirchi Icecream : true to its name this packs a punch and then some .. The green chilli hits you and not in a bad way but a great after taste of slightly spicy and whole lot sweet
Belgian dark chocolate : true to its name its chocolaty with a lil bit of bitter sweet after taste .. Pleasant .. Tough it doesn't stand out among the other options it has nothing that doesn't work for it ..
Belgian dark almond : chocolate Icecream ( not bitter sweet ) creamy and light with almonds (literally chunks ) thrown amidst it .. Sweet surprise in each bite ..
If they improve the packaging and if they serve a little bit more (since reducing the prices is never an option ) it would be much much more value for money !!!
Excellent Fresh Icecreams made with natural fruits low on sugar yet high on taste. I was a big fan of Naturals but always found the ice creams too sugary. The owner Jia is adorable and very helpful with her suggestions based on your personal likes. I suggest the strawberry and the pink guava are a must have! Try this place for sure. Cheers! βΊοΈ
Good in taste. Home delivery service is nice. Number of variety are less compare to banglore outlets. Price is also high compare to banglore outlets.
I am big fan of natural ice cream and good to see an outlet like this in NIBM area. We tried out Guava and Belgium Chocolate with wafel cone. On taste front full marks. Especially Guava was the best one I ever had. Ice cream used to melt down quickly, may be more freezing required. Wafel cone was not good. We tried out other flavours and believe me it competes well with big brands. I would surely visit again and try out other flavours also.
I go to Thanco's natural Ice Cream for their sugar free treats which are really awesome. The cool thing about Thanco's Ice Cream is that it got real fruit chunks in it. Gave them 1.5 star less because they dont do free home delivery even to next neighborhood.

I opted for Choco Mint and My sister opted for Belgian Chocolate...both flavours were awesome....I even test tasted their mirchi flavour ..initially was sceptical but after tasting the same to My surprise it was pretty good...It tastes like the chilli we use to make mirchi pakodas...As I mentioned location wise a bit far but then after tasting their ice cream..I felt that the ride was worth...Definitely a must try...Happy Fooding :-)
Thanco's might be in a new building & not really centrally located but its definitely even worth a 2-3 km drive!
If you are from Undri, NIBM or Wanorie then Thanco's is a must visit for Ice Cream!
When I say Ice cream Im laying more emphasis on the cream part. The Thanco ice-creams are really creamy & I absolutely loved it!
Being a natural ice cream place they have all fruity flavours lik Guava, Litchi, Green chilli, Watermelon, Anjeer, Sitaphal & still more. Are you natural fruity ice cream lovers you have found paradise.
And for hard core chocolate lovers like me I was in heaven too with three different Belgian chocolate flavours.
The place is pretty well lit & quite clean. There are about three tables there with decently comfortable chairs for you to enjoy your ice cream!
We were really impressed by the range of flavours that thancos offers. It's even nicer to know when this place is very close by..
I absolutely loved the (nuttly) belgian chocolate chip icecream..I always believed that theres always place for a desert after your meal, and this place has reminded me of that thought...

The best ice cream in town! My sister and I headed to thanco's one rainy evening as my sister had this huge ice cream craving!
The shop is situated in newly opened small mall ahead of RIMS on NIBM road.
The interiors are really cozy with a pleasing color scheme!
They have some really different flavors such as green chilli and green tea. Kool ain't it?
Anyway so I got myself a classic Belgian dark chocolate ice cream and my sister got the Oreo one!
OMGASHHH. The Belgian dark chocolate was so creamy and dreamy. haha but I got lost in just eating it. Damn it's the best I have tried! The Oreo was really good too because I love having small chunks of Oreo instead of just the Oreo powder.
And the ice cream was so filling that we had to skip dinner!
So yes. This is by far the best ice cream parlor in this city!
Can't wait to go back! π
MUST TRY their - REAL BEAN VANILLA.. You will not get this anywhere... It their Pride you can say.
They serve different and innovative flavours of ice cream apart from the regular ones.
To name a few that we have tried - Lime icecream, Guava, Kala Jamun ... Yummmm. Belgian almond, Caramel.. Have loved each and everyone of it.Β

Going to this place since months now. Just awesome. Had many flavors but Belgium Almond is my favorite. Just mmmm.... A lil expensive than other ice cream parlors. But worth it.
Really good ice cream. My husband and I have been relishing them since the time thanco's was the only shop in the then under construction building. The owner of the outlet is friendly and often suggests different flavours to try. I can confidently say that their Belgium Dark Chocolate ice cream is the best I have ever eaten. Try some of their unique flavours like pan and green chilli.
Good stuff....the chocolate flavours are top notch...the fruit flavours are rich and creamy and worth every penny. Definitely a place to come back :)

This is one review I have been waiting to write. After several attempts to try out the ice cream here today finally I get a taste of what I was waiting for. Unfortunately last time I decided to go here the place was shut due to riot warnings and the other time we just ended up changing our plans.
The place is really well hidden at 'la ventana'-this small shopping complex on the way to cloud 9 . Surprisingly thanco's is the only shop currently functional at the moment in the entire complex so its really hard to miss.
(Now comes the fun part)
What really pulled me towards the place is the fact that they serve "GREEN CHILLIE ICE CREAM" yes u heard me right I said green chillie ice cream and thats exactly what I asked for as soon as I entered .
The ice cream looked fairly simple nothing different there but when i took the first bite it still seemed quiet subtle utill the spice slowly hits u. Really unique taste and sensation unlike anything i have ever tasted .To go along with it I had a Belgium dark chocolate which the lady at the counter ever so sweetly suggested , since the flavours contrast really well . The zing from the chillies and the smoothness of the chocolate were like a perfect marriage. The belgium dark chocolate was one of the creamiest and the richest I have had so far.
The other exciting flavour include kiwi, green grape , guava, pomegranate, pan, peda , apple - these are just a few of the flavours I found interesting , the list goes on !
If you are looking for something other than the usual , now you know where to find it.
Must try Belgium Dark Chocolate Ice Cream. Its taste so good perfect balance. Also you must try their cone Ice cream, Cones are made in house, Its different than our regular cone Ice Cream.
Owner is also very down to earth person.
