*THE MERRY QUOTIENT* - The good quality food and warm people.
By now you must be aware I am a sucker for thalis ! Which makes me explore different places old and new in the city.
Siddhivinayak is a fairly old place in the core city. I visited on a festival, so I had a chance to taste the 'Upwaas' menu too !
The food is no doubt tasty. There's variety, there's flavour, and it's fresh of course. The few thali places that has GOOD CHAPATIS. There's also an option of plain rice and MASALE BHAAT. Sweets are at an added cost. The helpers serving food are warm and inviting. The ambience of the place is so-so and a very simple one. There's only indoor seating. At peak hours, there maybe a small waiting que.
The place is fair on the pocket and worth it for the good quality food.
@siddhivinayakdininghall
One of the most hygienic and pocket friendly meals I have ever had!
The place is well located on Tilak Road in Sadashiv peth and offers a delicious, hygienic and yet pocket friendly meal. The cuisine is Maharashtrian, wherein a Brinjal preparation (वांग्याची भाजी/ बैंगन की सब्जी), chapati, 'varan bhat' and Khichdi/ masala Bhat is served as the main course. No any sweet as such is served with the thali, however the delicious dahi wada is so soothing that it won't make you feel the absence of a desert. Additionally, Paneer bhaji, fried papad and a कोशिंबीर(salad raita) is like a cherry on the cake.
The most important thing is you get all of this UNLIMITED at a price of ₹150; Absolutely worth it!
The staff is courteous and the service is quick. The only drawbacks that can be mentioned are, the non-availability of toilet (at least I didn't find one) and parking, especially for a four wheeler.
Summing up, a very good place and worth a visit.
Good pure veg restaurant. You will get authentic maharastrian veg food. The full meal is the only one option. The taste of the food is very good. The service is also very fast. The overall restaurant is very clean. The best time to visit this restaurant is on sankashti chaturthi. On this occasion this restaurant provide too good food with multiple sweets dishes. The unique item is modak.sweet dishes are really cool at place
This thali is good enough with sweet and spicy taste combination of maharashtrian and gujarati. .. I loved the masale bath (rice) served here ....
You can see long waiting outside the restaurant ...very cheap and good food compared to others
Good quality mahrashtrian thali and complete value for money. Restaurant also accepts card payment. Good taste and quick service. Howerver they are not serving papad and bhaji (pakoda) as they use to serve on a daily basis. Definitely a must try to enjoy delicious and sumptous meal.
Homely food best quality, affordable price. Perfect for homesick people.
Should try there Alu chi bhaji masale bhat.
Staff is polite and place is hygenic.
In 150 rs they give you good food & nice staff where you dont have to shout for attention.. they continuously serves you..
In menu
chapati
papad (unlimited)
dahivada (unlimited)
3 ओली bhaji
1 sukki bhaji
khichadi bhat & varan bhat (both present & you can eat both ) serves with तुप
Nice maharashtrian thali
have to recommended place
Sometimes I feel this is better than even durvankur really there food is tasty service is great no arrogance only tasty food and hot rotis with ghee. Lovely me and friend use to come here on every Sunday in our college days.
If you are craving for Maharashtrian home made food this is the right place for you. Tasty, belly friendly and cost effective. The dhai wada and aalu chi bhaji are just wow! You can’t stop eating them, a dhai wada lover should hit this place asap. The staff is courteous and they offer very good hospitality. You can’t find you plate empty until the last morsel. On the down side chapati was bit undercooked. Altogether very good experience.
One of the best Dining Halls in Pune. It is pocket friendly and they have unlimited sweets on sunday afternoon!! The dahi wada is delicious as well the other sweets..
This place is pocket friendly. Now the Maharshtrian unlimited thali is for 250. All the food items are really good in taste. They serve unlimited Dahi Wada which is their speciality. Basundi and Gulabjamun were served in sweet dish which were also unlimited. Basundi was too good.
Just to avoid rush on Sundays, plan to visit before 1PM.
Easily accessible dinning hall on Tilak road, have ample of parking for two wheelers and few for car. They have unlimited sweet and normal thali. When i visited the menu had basundi and fruit salad. They had dahi vada which was too salty, basundi and fruit salad was not that good similarly all other items was not that good but ok. Service was nice.

Came to know about this place from zomato and decided to try . went there Thursday evening . This place provides simple Maharashtrian thali (Unlimited) at very affordable price of rs 140 . Thali consists of Alu bhaji , Batatyachi bhaji, Amati, Paneer bhaji, koshimbir ,Pakoda, Papad, Dahiwada, and 2 types of rice . Well the food here is simple but amazing . I liked their Amati and Alu bhaji. But star of the meal was Dahiwada . It is just too good . Probably best in town !!! I dont mind visiting this place to just eat Dahiwadas!!! Service is pretty good as well.
So overall very good place to visit if you are looking for good maharashtrian food .
heard about this place from one of my good friend, he recommended me to go there for their Dahi vada.
this place had amazing crowd in the weekdays also, had to wait for 15 mins.
but once the food is served , it was delicious.
Aloo ka bhaji was superb.
Dal and paneer sabzis were good too.
they even serve rice in two varieties, masala rice and white rice.
but top of all comes dahi vada, i have never had dahi vada like that anywhere till now.
it was too tasty , i actually had 4 plates of that.
surely will recommend to friends.
must visit .

Best place to have a thali in Pune..Prices are very low and the food they offer is just too awesome..alu chi bhaji and masale bhat or even varan bhat are very tasty and there is no scope to find any fault there on..
Its a great maharshtrian food place in pune. We are very old customer of the dinnin hall, when the rate of thali was Rs.70/- from that time we were the fans of this place. Now the rate is Rs.120/-, still they had maintained their taste same. One who are fans of maharashtrian food must visit Siddhivinayak. Its a lovely place, even you can arrange small get togethers here. They give best services to such type of functions. we had done many small functions here like, brithday party, kelvans etc.
It's good a typical maharashtrian food place. 100% marks for dahi wada. They have maintained the quality of the food.ambience is small but clean n maintained. Service is also good. This is the place many a times visited me n my family for having home like food.
This is the favorite place to have proper maharashtrain food and my n my hubby's favorite dahi wahi... It's having unlimited thali system and the food is really delicious and value to money it is just 120 bucks .. Have to take sweet in extra.... It has two curry , one dry vegetables curries, papad, roti daal rice ,pulav dahi vada, pakoda, vegetables salad, dal...etc etc... Do try.. The ambience is small but the cleanliness n hygiene is maintened. Service is really fast.. Every Sunday and on chaturthi u have unlimited sweets ka thali
I just want to say two words to describe. Sweet and Simple. I had heard about this place many times and finally went there today. As heard, food was delicious. Menu was really nice and simple. There was ni crowd of items and I just loved that. All preparations were great. Varan Bhat was cherry on the pie. Service is really quick and staff is cooperative. Rates are also reasonable. I liked it alot.
They have fixed menu, only that you get "ukdi cha modak" on chaturthi.
Service is prompt and food is great. If you are high on appetite this is a place .They serve unlimited thali which has the typical Aalu [Colacasia/Taro leaf] chi bhaji.
One of the best maharashtrian thali.
Heard that this food serves authentic Maharashtrian food at a reasonable price. Went here on a Sunday. Typically it is 120 for the thali but Sundays it is 200 with 2 unlimited sweets. So, the food - the good first: great basundi, chappatis, aroo sabji and dahi vada. Perfect, simple and authentic. The bad- their chutney, the fruit salad sweet were genuinely bad. The masale bhat (masala rice) that I was looking forward to was average. Good masale bhat is essential for a marathi place. The varan bhat (dal rice) with ghee was epic. Could work on some details, good for an economical meal but when you are spending 200 on a Sunday I want both my desserts to be good!
Maharashtrain Food and best place. Ghadshi - Owner will personally Take care of yours and all waiters are attentitve. No flaw in this place. Go to the old & Original / Main branch hotel in Patil Plaza. The food is nice, waiters are nice, cleanliness is seen and above all the music! If yu r fond of old marathi songs like : Bhatuklichya khelaa madhle, Shukratara manda waara etc etc of tht era, ths is the place yu will love fo sure.
Excellent place for a family dining.!!!
Especially if you cherish traditional maharashtrian fodd- this is the place to be.
V.good & promt service. Taste of the food is good.
Totally Value for money.
Grt place for typical puneri food .
You ll not c it from road its inside
Unlimited food with mind blowing dahiwada and alu cha fadfad will take u to heavan .. good food reasonable rate grt place
I recently dined at 'Siddhivinayak Dining Hall' and ordered the big veg plate. The dish was undeniably delicious with a lovely blend of flavors. The vegetables were fresh and cooked to perfection. What truly stood out, however, was the sweet undertone in the dishes. While the sweetness was enjoyable, I would appreciate a bit more spiciness to create a better balance of flavors. I believe that a touch of heat could elevate the overall experience and provide more contrast to the sweetness. It's just a suggestion, as I understand that taste preferences vary.Overall, it was a delightful meal, and I'll definitely be returning. If you're a fan of sweet dishes, you'll love it here, and I encourage them to consider adding some spicier options to cater to different palates!" 🌶️🍽️😊
⭕If you are looking for Veg Maharashtrian Thali then this place is for you.
🔹I think this is very underrated place on social media but this is better than other famous veg thali restaurant in Pune
🔹They serve authentic Maharashtrian cuisine. Famous for unlimited dahi wada and papad (both are very tasty)
🔹You have to pay 220₹ for one thali
On Sunday and chaturthi price of thali ३००+₹ in which (they serve unlimited Kanda bhaji which is very good in taste and rasmalai😋)
🔹If you are looking for with family satvik meal this is place go for it🤝🏿🙂
I have experienced that whenever restaurants offers too much menu - taste is compromised . But Siddhivinayak is the exception. They have limited menu but every food item has its unique taste . Instead of eating 15 menu options with basic taste it is 101% better to eat 8 food items with best taste.
The best item according to me is Aloo Chi Bhaji and Dahi Wada . You will not find such kind of best food anywhere in pune . So basically the menu is fixed for Monday to Saturday - menu is Alu chi Bhaji , Potato , Dal , Dahi Wada , Mutter Paneer , Salad / Raita, papad, rice or masala rice . Sweet options are also available with extra price i.e rs.50 . Current price of thali is Rs.200 . And on Sunday price is Rs.300.
If you are maharashtrian then you will be a super fan of this place . Must Visit . I will recommend it as one of the best maharashtrian thali in pune.
Best option for vegetarian. Here is a thali system lunch. In this Thali batatyachi bhaji, waran, Aluchi bhaji, chapati , Dahi wada,Fried papad. In sweet item there is three option Basundi/amrakhand/Gulab Jamun only one item you can choose.and in rice two options plane rice/masala rice.Best quality.
One of the best places to eat authentic Maharashtrian food.
Pocket-friendly and delicious thali.
Service is quick and the place is hygienic & well-maintained.
Best maharashtrian food thali in budget... Mouth watering Dahi vada specially
An elaborate Maharashtrian authentic thali at a very reasonable price. We went here for dinner last week. The service was quick and the thali was unlimited. We had dahi vada, koshimbir, chapati, papad, dal, mutter paneer, alu chi patal bhaji, batata chi bhaji and masale bhaat and all the items were delicious! Dahi wada was the best and I couldn't stop eating it until I had a sugar rush :P
If you're looking for a budget restaurant with authentic maharashtrian taste this is definitely the place to go.
This is one of the best dining hall to have authentic maharashtrian veg food in Pune situated at the heart of the city . Ample of sitting space is available there as now it is having 2 floors .
The food is very tasty . Staff is serves the food very well and they are polite.
The rate is cheapest amongst all other dining halls and worth it.
Must visit . Highly recommended.
Steal place if you're up for a good scrumptious unlimited meal @250₹ includes Sunday specials.
If you don't have a taste for simple non oily non spicy home made feel food then this place is not for you.
It is a well maintained and served dining hall with good mannered waiters who answer your call with obedience and friendliness.
This is an awesome place for Maharashtraian Thali. I had visited once and after that I visited many times with different people and everyone liked it lot. I love specially the Dahivada they have. It's amazing.

good place. clean and awesome service...best Maharashtrian food. thali is one of best in n Pune. located in core city. on tilak road. parking is definitely issue for 2 wheeler and cars both. still a worthy always. reasonable by any mean without compromise on quality and quantity too.
The best worth for money All you can eat Thali in Pune!!! Alupatal Bhaji and Matar Paneer are must have! Varan Bhaat and masale bhaat with Desi ghee are foods of God! They've maintained the taste since they opened being a customer since 11 years I attest to that. They have good and fast service. They have special thalis Sunday afternoon with unlimited sweets. Only thing missing here is dedicated parking space for Four wheelers. You need to find parking outside on Tilak Road or else where which itself is a daunting task!
Food quality is maintained. On the main road so easily reachable. They don't have parking so you need to park vehicles too far at your own risk.
Authentic thali including everything. Sabji, chapati, aloo bhaji everything was delicious. Thali include 3 sabji, chapati, aamti, dahi wada, papad, koshimbir, masala bhat/ varan bhat. If you want any sweet, you have to pay extra charge. They have options in sweet, you can choose from them. Must visit place😊
One of the best dining hall in pune...no other dining hall is as best as this one.
Uncomparable to others....it has its unique culture and taste.i went for dinner on Sankashta chaturthi fast and that was an awesome experience.
Amazing place to have veg maharashtrian food. This is famous for dahi wada & rice but rest foods items are also good. Now price increased to 200rs for each thali with unlimited food & sweet they cost differently. Must try place as it's neat clean & tasty food.
