Amazing chinese food , very good staff & cozy little place.
They serve the best Chinese I have ever tasted in Pune .... just go and grab some best food at Toss n Stir ... Lovely , Yummi Food :)
Go here for some real chinese food. Trust me you won't regret it. They serve one of the best butter garlic noodles !
Amazing food. Everything they serve is just wow! My personal favourites are their hot n spicy dishes.
Some real good Chinese!!
Excellent service!
My recommendation- chicken dimsums, drumsticks and prawns sweet and spicy!
Whenever we crave Chinese... Especially pan fried noodles and Chilly chicken after a long hectic day, we know where to find respite! Toss n stir is located very close to our place in Baner, we just drop in whenever we need fresh Chinese food!
Toss n stir is one of the finest takeaway n parcel restaurants in baner. Their Chinese delicacies are beyond par. Do try their dimsums n starters. Overall a decent experience.
I am frequent visitor here...but never got an opportunity to rate this place ....this place has been outstanding in terms of there hospitality and food they serve.Dimsums, Fried rice, Tao's chix is what I generally order. Will be loyal customer as always. Thanks
Excellent food... Ordered home delivery received on time with good packaging and courteous delivery guy . Hope to order soon... Thanks Toss n Stir
The Manchurian and stir fried veggies were yumm... Salad could have been better. Overall tasty & clean food. Loved it!!
The food was amazing! It was worth my money. I loved it. The delivery boy was also well behaved and had etiquettes which most of the delivery boys lack these days.
All together this place is perfect for Chinese food. Love love love! ❤️
Good food n value for money. Huge variety of options in both veg n nonveg. Very well maintained restaurant. Excellent...............food n service.
The food has always been great.
The chicken dumplings were exceptional. Thank you for not disappointing. I loved both the sauces you gave with the dumplings, though the quantity could have been a little more.
Aromatic Chicken was completely different than what I remember having many months ago. I preferred the old one cause this one didn’t have the same aroma and had lots of red chilies.. And description of 8 treasure soup has to be more detailed.
Had ordered thru zomato, which was useless.
Let's start with restaurant
I had ordered siriracha, chicken wok tossed noodles with hunan sauce, chicken street style noodle.
Siriracha was bit spicy.hunan sauce was perfect.
Over all its was very tasty.
Hotel manager was very co operative.
Classy dimsums.. Worth every penny
We have ordered chicken Momos through Swiggy . Steamed momos was Hot and tasty.
Packing is good and value for the money.
Delivery is on time .
Overall enjoyed the food.
One of my favorite Chinese cuisine restaurants in Pune, period.
I have been to this eatery as well as ordered in and they have rarely disappointed me.
I have ordered a lot of their starters, their varieties of chilli chicken, dynamite chicken and others, decent in quantity and very tasty.
I loved their Dongan chicken. It was an example of a simple and brilliant dish. The chicken in chilli basil sause was quite satisfying as well.
Their noodles varieties are delicious, the street style ones, sumptuous and refreshing.
I would love to try more of what they have to offer and this is one authentic Chinese outlet in Baner.
Food - 4.5
Decor - 3.5
Staff - 4
Ambience - 3.5
Value for money - 4.5
Overall, a must try in Baner and definitely an eatery worth going back to by my recommendation.
Came by here to try another of the superb establishments in Pune. The venue is quite clean, and not overly fancy. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We opted to get Chinese tasting menus. It was quite an amazing meal of various flavors and tastes. It's a huge amount of food, but it's so good. I would come back in a heartbeat.
Very good quality and quantity . Food came in piping hot !
I have ordered from this place quite a number of times. They serve authentic Chinese. I really love there dim sums and also the Cantonese chicken. The noodles are thin and light. For vegetarians you can try veggies in chilly basil sauce.
I recently decided to order a quick lunch from here that included Chicken Schezwan Fried Rice and Chicken in Hunan Sauce. Both the items were quite good and also had a good amount of quantity when delivered. I also received a complementary desert as a part of the Zomato Treats program which was pretty decent too. The staff was quite helpful when I called them for some minor changes in the dishes leading to a great experience.
Wouldn't mind ordering again when in mood for Chinese!
Loved their Veg street style Noodles. Along with this we ordered, 'Chicken Hakka Noodles', it was good but chicken quantity was less and egg was more in that.
I have been here few times. The menu is huge and the food is consistently good. I definitely come here for the Chicken Black pepper dry more than anything else though.
The service is average as are the prices but if you are craving chinese cuisine in the area this is definitely one of the better ones to go to.
I have been to this place only once.
We ate shredded black pepper chicken (check name once) and garlic noodles.
We really liked the chicken dish ♥️ noodles were pretty normal..okayish but chicken somehow balanced the taste so overall good experience.
TOSS N STIR, Baner
Had a hearty authentic chinese meal at Toss n Stir, Baner. All veg though!! Nicely prepared dimsums, manchow soup a bit on spicier side.. tasted unique and I liked it!
Main course, we went by what was recommended on zomato, butter garlic noodles. We accompanied it with assorted veggies in Maahlak sauce ( I hope I have spelled it correctly), truly a winner. Quantity appropriate for 2. Went for Darsaan in desert section, flat noodles tossed in honey and sesame seeds, wished it had a plain vanilla ice cream as accompaniment.
For 2 persons, we were totally stuffed, and so we had to parcel out the desert, VFM @ Rs.680
I will surely be visiting soon to try out there non-veg options — at Toss n Stir
WE find this place through Zomato. I find this very different because seating arrangement is kind of unique. Noodles here are great. If you love Chinese food this place for you.
My all time favourite Chinese restaurant.
Excellent taste and great service.
Recommendations: lemon coriander soup, chicken in hunan sauce, butter garlic noodles, burnt garlic noodles and pan fried noodles
Had ordered food twice and the food was awesome without change in the quality and quantity. The delivery was also quick within the given time.
Whenever I crave Chinese food this is the first place I would come to because their place is very clean. Food is worth the price. Service is good as well. I just love how they cook their food perfect and it is not too oily or anything. Presentation is good.
Liked the food ,great flavours but the noodles i had might be a little too spicy for the mild person ,all in all the food was good and i wont mind ordering from this place next time needed
Food served is great. Ambience is good. No problem of crowd or waiting. The service is a bit slow but everything they serve is very delicious. Great place to visit even with friends. Many different Chinese dishes served. Have visited this place many times. Everytime my experience has been better then the last time. The seating arrangement is properly done providing ample space and distance between two tables. The staff is friendly and eager to serve great food...all in all its a great place to visit. Great place even for pure vegetarians.
Good food and real VFM . We tried there chicken siumai- very good flavours , prawn hargao- juicy prawns with cruncy element inside, machow soup- can be better, aromatic chicken - vgd prep.
Much better food than makrana there indian cuisine arm.
Loved their dimsums. Also it really serves some wonderful Cantonese food. Quantity is OK, but quality is surely better than most. I also like their new south east Asian entrée fare.
Just love this place when it comes to.chinese , their street style noodles is just Wow!!! Reasonable price with enough quantity ,starters are very delicious and authentic with wide options - A great place to have perfect Chinese Delicacies !!!
One of best chinese restaurant in the city. Small place but the food is awesome. Great momos, noodles, Even the main course is great.
A place for chinese lovers. 😍😍😍😍
Positives:
This place serves decent indo-chinese food. Service is good and the staff is courteous. Probably the best burnt garlic noodles in Pune.
Negatives:
The starters are good but the quantity doesn't match up to the price. Also, they need to either turn on the A/C or do something about the ventilation. Can't imagine dining in during summers. 😛
Overall good place to have Chinese, every dish we ordered was very delicious...
One starter was prwans cracker which was kind of spring roll with prwans inside it....
Next we had main course with garlic veg noodles and rice with thai chilli chicken that was also good to have...!!!
It's very spacious place , service was also good overall happy with the outlet
Yo come on man, nice place to chill out. When after having ur dinner if u get 15% discount is one of the awesome stuff. Must try if u really wants to have get together.
Toss N Stir
Survey 182, Near Cosmos Bank, Baner
In and around Pune, we have lots of underrated food joints, restaurants which serves good decent food with good ambiance and nice seating arrangement. These food joints are unlikely hard to locate or inside some old lane. Toss N stir is one of them.
This one is really hard to locate as it's on the third floor of building and they have entrance from outside, you have to use stairs which are on the outside to reach. If you succeed in locating the restaurant then you're in a luck.
At first glimpse this restaurant doesn't make a good impression and looks like a small normal Chinese joint, but when you reach all the way to top and look inside the restaurant, it really surprise you by the ambiance and seating arrangement.
They have well decorated walls with lots of graffities and foodie quotes as well as pictures. Good ambiance always makes customers happy. Seating arrangement is also nice, they have two types of seating arrangement, you can either seat on normal chair or can opt for chauranga (चौरंग) for a different experience.
Friendly staff and prompt fast service is their best point. They have lots of Chinese, Korean and Thai dishes on the menu. We opted for Korean dumplings, prawns sweet and spicy and Thai roasted chicken drumsticks. I was hoping a good food after suck a awesome ambiance and friendly staff.
Korean dumplings = Dumplings or Momos, both are my favourites. If I see these on the menu I always order one of those. Korean dumplings were awesome, they came in little dumpling box which I've seen in most of the videos. It was steam dumplings with chicken filling stuffed with spicy and sweet kimchi flavours. Quantity of stuffing inside dumpling was good and the skin (layer) of dumpling were soft. They gave us black pepper sauce which gave it a different spicy kick(had some herbs also) . We enjoyed this dumplings thoroughly. #highlyrecommended (price :170 /- for six)
Prawn sweet and spicy : It was another delicious dish. Deep fried prawns tossed with fresh chilli and plum sauce. Crispy prawns with sweet taste of plum sauce and slightly spicy kick at the end of bite. It was indeed a flavourful dish.
# recommended (price :320/-)
Thai roasted chicken drumsticks : We have to end our dinner with some different dish so we opted for Thai one. This one was a dish full of flavours. Juicy and tasty moist chicken marinated with Thai ingredients. When it came to our table the aroma of the flavours really grab our full attention. Meat was cooked perfectly and it has a different taste because of pepper. Marination used for meat was really flavourful. It gave meat a different taste. Sweet at the start and spicy kick at the end of bite. I like my food spicy and I highly recommend this one for spicy lovers. #highlyrecommended (price :250/-)
We had to settle down with these three as we were full. I was happy and satisfied with my meal. It's vfm place and serves good food. Highly recommended who love to try different types of momos and Korean cuisine. Give it a try and I doubt you'll be disappointed
Myriad Asian flavors come together, as one samples their many dishes on offer. Each dish is thoughtfully created and one wants to try out each dish just to see what their chefs' imagination have added to already familiar dishes and some dishes, not so familiar. Fresh ingredients, specially generous and wise use of herbs, make each dish surprisingly light and tasty. Depending on your leaning towards gentle or strong flavors, its a good idea to ask the chef to guide you in case you are unsure. Their coconut dumplings were a lovely surprise as were the water chestnut dumplings as per the chef's recommendation that we happily followed.
Great Chinese food for the price. Better to order in than sit there, it is a little small. Tasty Indo Chinese dishes- they don't stint on exotic vegetables.Feel free to ask the staffs about the dishes If you aren't much sure about them, they will be happy to help.
The first thing that stands out about this place is their menu, which reflects a genuine attempt to present good Chinese and Southeast Asian cuisine.
I'll admit that my friends had second thoughts about the place because of the air conditioning (or lack thereof), but the people were really nice and made sure we were comfortable. And were we glad we stayed. True to their word, the food was delicious; we had the wontons and assorted soups for starters, and the main course featured khow suey, Tsinghoi-style veggies and chicken in Hunan. The sauces were done very well indeed, and the noodles were excellent; the fried rice might have been more on the Indian side though. I couldn't try any of their interesting dessert options, so that's something to look forward to. Another possibility is combo deals for main courses so that we don't have to order the rice/noodle side separately.
In all, it was a great dinner, and I can't wait to go back there and eat at one of the low tables!
Would have given 1 more star but for the slow service. Food is authentic Pan Asian and very tasty. Unlike other Chinese restaurants they don't add Schezuan sauce to every dish . We ordered veg Dimsum and Chicken and mushroom Dimsum. Both were very good. Filling was very tasty. Nasi goreng Rice with Chicken was spicy and finger lickin tasy- or I should rephrase as spoon lickin tasty:-P. We were very hungry so forgot to take pictures. It's a great place for people who are fond of tasty and authentic food and can ignore the ambience. It has very simple and calm ambience.
Please please work on slow service and we are eager to visit again!
This is one of my favourite take away joint on baner Road. I order food almost every week frome here. The dishes that I really like are Thai roasted chicken drumsticks, chicken hunan, smoked chicken dry red chillies, and Prawns black pepper. The food here is really tasty and the delivery service is quick. The prices are reasonable. Love this place.
A nice place to enjoy Chinese cuisine. For starters you can have chicken wantons and dumplings. The eight veggies chicken soup is the best soup that you can try. For noodles there is chicken burnt garlic noodles which you can have with chilly chicken or tao's chicken. And if you are a group of college students then be ready to get an opening discount of 10%.
PS: The owner is a nice guy, if you aren't student also you can get that discount on your first visit. Happy Tossing..
Have ordered from Toss N Stir a couple of times and have always liked the food. I usually go in for the appetizers, but thought of taking a chance today. So, I went ahead and ordered Vietnamese Chicken Curry and boy...!!!! I was absolutely surprised by it. It had such a subtle aroma. And the taste was just incredible. It was bursting with amazing South East Asian flavours. You could taste every single ingredient to the hilt. And it seemed pretty healthy too, as it was absolutely light on the tummy, it had Broccoli (NOT a fan! :P), Carrots etc. I felt like I was transported all the way to the streets of Ho Chi Minh city..haha!
Well this is a good place to have ur lunch or dinner on baner road. The sitting arrangement is nice. Coming to the food they have buffet option although every item in buffet is not unlimited. According to their price it's reasonable. Deserts served in buffet should be improved . Service is good .
We tried their unlimited dinner non veg buffet. It's not exactly a buffet. It's that you can one kind of soup, starter, main and soft drink - unlimited quantities. Rice and noodles and dessert are fixed. But the catch is that each person can't order different different dishes. The entire table has to order the same thing. So if there's 5 people, all 5 have to have the same soup, same starter and same main.
The food is REALLY good and the menu is very varied. I would recommend the place.
Loved the food and also the service..
Suggestion for toss & stir management..... The washroom need some changeover and cleanliness.
Rest full points..
I tried Chinese buffet here (both veg and non-veg) here. If you choose your dishes wisely, it's definitely worth visiting.
I liked: Golden garlic cabbage soup (veg), Cottage cheese hunan dry, Chicken in sichuan dry.
Ambiance: Good.
Staff behaviour : V good.
Serving time (after order): Fast
Food quality: Good.
Value for money: Excellent (for buffet only)
Made our new year really special .... Food is great 😄😄😄. We ordered chicken with Hunan sauce which was great and chicken dumplings. Very good place if like oriental food
I ordered once from this place in search for some good Chinese food. The prices are on higher side. It was an okayish experience. Veg dimsums were richer cousins of local momos and noodles were pretty bland. The good thing was the kimchi salad which is staple for any good Chinese restaurant. Another worth mentioning dish is the oriental veg in hot and Sour. It made up for all the other things and we were pretty happy with it. My friend ordered egg noodles which according to her were pretty decent.
It was my search for good chinese food on foodpanda that lead me to check this place out on zomato and after looking at mostly favourable reviews I went ahead and ordered and I didnt regret one bit for trying out a new restaurant. Since then I have ordered multiple times from this restaurant.
I really like their burnt garlic noodles and burnt garlic rice. I would like to recommend their hunan chicken and chicken in kung pao and chicken in oyster sauce. I recently got a chance to try out their new set up which is just above fassos in baner and I felt that their quantity was a bit less as compared to home delivery so my recommended option is home delivery. The owners are very courteous and I have had to get in touch regarding two instances of quality issues which were very professionally handled and prompt.
The new place is better than the one they had next to replay sports bar. They also have another brand called makrana which is another gem and deserves another review. They need to work on consistency and increase their dine in quantity and match it with the take out.
So this small cozy place sits almost hidden in the Prime Rose Mall on Baner Road, but those who seek (and I mean those with a gluttonous craving for some too good to be true hot Chinese food) shall find it!
Every time I go here/order in (which used to be almost every week), invariably i end up ordering the same things.
My recommendations from this place are
1. Chicken Hot n Sour Soup - An all time fav.
or Peppery Lemon Soup - This soup is the best cure for a bad cold and a running nose. Its pepper- iness with a generous flavor of lemon grass tells your nose off almost instantly.
2. Starters - Well, starters are the reason I didn't give a 5.0 rating to this place. Even though the starters like Crispy Chicken Konjeenaro are pretty good, the quantity and the price do not go hand in hand.
3.Main Course - I'd gladly kill for the Chicken Chilly Garlic Noodle and Tsinghoi Chicken here. The staff here have repeatedly (well, almost every single time) told me that this duo do not go together so well. But trust me, they do! The subtle sweetness of the Chilly Garlic Noodle (its spicy too) compliments the spicy shredded chicken pieces in the hot and sour sauce of the Tsinghoi Chicken so well that you can almost hear little angels playing harps. In between the mouthfuls you will get little crunchy diced onions and bell peppers. Apart from this, their Butter Garlic Rice and Cantonese Chicken are nicely done too and for those who like the street style Chinese food, I'd recommend the Street Style Noodles(flavors of Kolkata).
The staff are very courteous and friendly here, they give recommendations too (as I pointed out earlier ;) ).
Toss N Stir is a small, peaceful place, with normal seating arrangements on the ground floor and low bamboo seats and tables on the mezzanine . Not recommended for large groups, but, for a group of 4-6 people, its a great choice!
For students, its a bit of a splurge since it would cost about Rs.800 for 2 people (including starters). But the portions are good, 1 portion of a noodle/rice and 1 main course would suffice for 2 people that is if you have soup and starters.
PS : Ask for their Kimchi and pickled Cucumber and Carrots if they don't give any, and, ask for more if they do.
An update: Following up on my initial review (it's down there below if you have the patience to read the entire thing!) the management contacted me on zomato to revisit the place and give a fresh overview of the place and as a gesture they sponsored my dinner. So these guys have recently moved to a new space, just adjacent to Cosmos Bank. The new space is huge and spacious. There are some nice paintings around and a secluded seating area too. They are also working on the rooftop space. Anyway after discussing with the owner I decided to go with "C Momo Chicken" for starter, chicken in hot basil sauce with burnt garlic rice for main-course and chocolate rolls for dessert. The starter was quite good. It was basically fried chicken dumplings in a soup. I liked how the taste of chicken was still distinct in the dumplings. Burnt garlic rice was nice and more than sufficient for one person. The chicken dish was nice with thick gravy. I liked the contrasting tastes of the gravy and the chicken. The main-course was indeed more than enough for a person and I had to ask them to parcel about one-third of it. For dessert I had chocolate rolls. They were nice and crispy and filled with chocolate. However I felt that the outer layer was a bit thick for the delicacy rendering it dry in the mouth. Maybe the outer layer can be thinned out or some sauce or dip to go along with it would be. I had a wonderful time out here in their new space. I would totally recommend this place to people who want variety in oriental cuisines. Thanks for hosting me!
So we were in the area and pretty hungry. We saw this place and just went there for dinner. We were 6 people. They offered us a table upstairs which was really cramped with the entire floor being less than 6 feet in height. Somehow we all managed to settle in. This place doesn't have any ambiance. It's more suited for take-away. Anyway we started with chicken man-chow soup and veg spring-roll. The soup was really nice and warmed us up from the chill outside. Spring-roll was OK I guess. The flour used didn't taste fresh at all. Also it wasn't even crispy. The veggies inside were alright though they had too much salt. For main-course I decided to go with Butter garlic chicken noodles and Chicken Manchurian. Butter garlic noodles were good and mildly spicy. However I felt the quantity was a bit less. Chicken Manchurian again was too salty and had too much of soya sauce in it. I couldn't eat the gravy of the chicken manchurian. Service was fine and the staff was polite. Overall it was an OK experience. We all were quite hungry so didn't mind that much. I found this place a bit pricey though. Will have to think twice before giving this place another go.
Well the place is very small but it wont disappoint you thats for sure amazing Chinese chicken was so fresh and noodles was fresh and i tried chicken sweet corn soup it was delicious
This is my go to place for Chinese as I feel you dont have too many good options for Chinese in Baner. I am not a Chinese food freak but my wife is one, This outlet has very decent food and we somehow love to order from this place. except for Manchurian, i have like most of the stuff from this place. Definitely recommended for Chinese food.
Ambience is average and service was quick and good. may be it was weekday tht is thursday.Ordered chilli garlic siumai and butter garlic Noodles. Both were just perfect. Very tasty and will visit soon to try other dishes. Chinese lovers should surely visit this one for good Chinese food. Ratings 3.5 from me.
Ordered new arrivals Khow Suey and Pan fried Momos, Momos are okay not so impressive. Khow can do better... typically it should be thick consistency and a little more variety of Asian vegis are expected. Did not totally fail but did not leave a mark.
I have ordered takeaway a minimum of 30 times from this place. Recently they have revamped their menu to include a more diverse range of offerings. I particularly liked their Thai Chicken Legs from the new menu. Also, I like their dumplings, noodles and chicken/fish dishes. Most of the dishes are pretty good, I have tried too many to list them all down! I didn't like their Burmese khaosuey..might have liked it better had it been served in front of me. I wish they would serve thukpa too..I'm yet to find a decent thukpa in the Baner area..:(
Not a big fan of Chinese food, since my friend wanted to eat chinese only searched on zomato and went to this place,it is small place but liked the low seating on bamboo chairs. Coming to food ordered sichuan wontons it was good and spicy, then ordered veg dumplings sauce and burnt garlic fried rice. I expected dumplings to be like steamed momos but they served manchurians in sauce, which was not bad. Rice was OK, quantity of items is decent. Going by price somewhat reasonable, a tad bit high i felt.
I have been looking for a good Chinese in Pune and I had really bad experiences with all the places I had ordered from till now. But this restaurant totally lived up to my "Indian Chinese" expectations. Definitely ordering from here again.
Really nice, affordable food. Have never been to the store, but their home delivery has been good - hot food, on time. Try their soups for sure.
Little Low on Ambience, but what mattered is Food and they have excelled in Taste and Quality. Can vouch for one of the best tasting Soups, Dimsums & Sweet n Spicy chicken in Pune.

A really good Chinese restaurant on Baner road. I had chicken wanton, aromatic chicken, prawns butter garlic and friend rice. Chicken and seafood both are delicious, and the quantity of each item was fulfilling too. To get good chinese food (not fully authentic, but that which satiates Indian taste buds) at these prices is really good deal. I would surely recommend to give it a try :)
