They are mainly known for its Maharashtrian thali system. The food is veg only. The quantity of vegetables is unlimited. But limited fulkas and rice are served. One can order extra, which will be chargeable. Sweet dishes are charged separately. Sweet is approx 40 Rs per plate. Charges for the thali is around Rs 120. The service is good. Friendly staff.
This badshahi also carries forth the charm of the original tilak road badshahi mess. Simple Marathi meal. Nothing extra, nothing missing. It's an absolute delight for anybody looking for proper Marathi meal. It's an unlimited thali serving place. Service is quick. Ambience is good. Parking is limited, but can park on the road outside.

Decent food from a dining hall perspective. The quality of the food and the cleanliness of the place is good. The service is quick. The only thing that could be improved is a little more variety in food everyday.
If you are around Baner and looking for a simple food over a weekend or 2-3 times a week, you cannot go wrong with this place.
This place is best for Maharashtrian food. You will only get veg food. We had ordered two thalis and everything was amazing. This place will not offer you AC so might not be a good idea during summers
Badashahi is a place in Baner where admist the multicuisine and high prices restaurants you come across this eatery which has old city vibes and serves some amazing Maharashtrian food which is close to your hearts !
I was surprised to see at the rate board which had amazingly low prices but the quantity & quality was not at all compromised. I especially loved the batate vada and sabudana vada which has a great balance of spices and were crisp & flavoursome ! The Usal and Misal are also worth trying as it it medium on spice level and are comfort food goals ! The masala amboli & thalipeth we're equally tempting and the taste felt just like home ❤️
All in all, a very pocket friendly place in Baner which serves comforting food & the variety is just so much ! #HighlyRecommended
Decent homely MH food. Unlimited thali has all unlimited, except the taak (buttermilk). Aamti was nice, kadhi was little on the sweeter side, it should be more sour.
Mixed sprout usal & batata sukhi bhaji were nice.
Best part for me was the Mirchi thecha. It offsetted the sweeter kadhi.
The last best was the khichadi, rustic flavor. I asked for some ghee, they gave & didn't charge.
Overall better than the typical Punjabi greasy restaurant food.
But at Rs130 they should be giving some sweet dish for sure!

1. Good and spacious sitting area.
2. Waiters are humble and service with genuity.
3. Has parking area for 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers.
4. Maharastrian dishes and options are available. Only Vegeterian dishes are available.
5. Taste is good and I esp. like unlimited thali.
Afternoon food was OK. Food overall is good harmless unlimited and simple. Another option when u don't carry tiffin

Gulab Jamun, maharastrian meal. Simple meal. Moderate rate, on the corner of Pashan-Baner link road at Pune. Only meal is available Salty lassi, spicey boiled rice, bit/onion, useful for middle class.or working class.
Badshahi on tilak road has its own legacy. I don't want to compare it with this place.
They certainly have a good food and service is also fine. You get pipping hot 'Poli' and 'Puri' with multiple bhajya, kadhi and daal. Side dish like bhaji, papad and taak was also nice. In the desert they served ahora which none of us liked.
Not so heavy on pocket, parking availability is good.
