This is good, clean amd hygienic place to have food at. I had ordered poha and it was good but little oil.

Thali was average here. South Indian is really good. We also ordered pithla bhakhari and dal rice. It was really good. Great food with minimum money. Cheese grilled club sandwich was average. Also the place is very crowded.

Joshi uphar gruh is just the right snacking spot for all the puneris and all the snacks can be found at this one spot.
-From Kachori to jalebi, everything is prepared freshly and hygienically and you won't have to wait too much for the order to arrive as well.
What we had-
-Veg cheese sandwich: Sandwiches are light and are good for quick snacking when you're not too hungry. This sandwich was flavourful and had generous amount of cheese.
-Chhole bhathoore: We love hot and steaming bhathoore and chhole so we had to try this one. It was absolutely delicious and bhaturas were thick and fluffy

-Misal pav: It is a famous snack amongst puneris and though it is available everywhere, it tasted the best here.
-Jalebi: Ending our food hunt with sweet dish was necessary. The jalebis were freshly made in front of us and were juicy and crunchy.
This a small snacking spot and almost all the snacks can be found here. You must visit this place if you are looking for local puneri snacks.
Ordered 3 times from this place . Pithla bhakri is good and misal was also fine. For Maharashtrian food this is good place to visit/order. Price is also in the budget of bachelors for frequent visits .

This outlet is near SNDT College at Kothrud.
We went very early in the morning and most of the items were being made fresh in their open kitchen and can be seen from outside.
We ordered Sabudana khichadi, Sabudana wada and Idli wada.
People recommend eating Sabudana khichadi here but personally I didn't like it much. It was too sweet and was served with sweet curd. Also wasn't worth the price.
Wada priced Rs 20 each was much better comparatively and was also served with sweet curd.
Idli was soft and wada was crispy and hot. It was served with sambar and chutney which were good too.
Overall, good, clean place.
This is a one stop solution to all your hunger cravings. A clean, hygienic, well maintained kitchen with quick service. They have a semi open kitchen so you see all the food which is being cooked inside. It is a self service place.
Have tried many of the dishes here like
Poha, Upma, Sabudana Khichadi, Matar karanji, Kachori, Dosa,batata wada sambar, Samosa Chaat,Puri bhaji, chole bhature and tawa pulao.
Everything was delicious, no complaints at all.
Food was delivered on time, with proper packaging without any spillage.
Piping hot paratha...superb taste...not too spicy not too bland,just perfect paratha. Chole & salad was complimentary & tasted amazing .quantity was sufficient enough to feed a hungry man. The solkadhi was not fresh,smelled funny...over all it was a great experience
All breakfast items are good here. Shabudana Khichdi is prepared using ghee unlike everywhere else where oil is used. Ukadiche modak is available on every Chaturthi as well as every Sunday.

Is a place located in kothrod and it is just opposite to SMBT college.
It easily locatable and you can visit any time.
At first site I though it would just be an ordinary crowded place.
But when I entered I saw that they serve a variety of tempting delicacies and that too at a very reasonable rate.
One thing i was really happy about was their menu is displayed on the bar above the counter with delectable pictures and this gives me an idea in my mind what to order without wasting anytime.
Talking about the food:🥣
The quantity, price and the quality is definitely a five star.🤩
▪We started with sabudana khichdi it was really yummm and the curd served with it was also very thick and of nice consistency.
▪Chole bhature: This one was my favourite and its tasted really perfect.They serve 2 big bhature along with some salad.
▪Jalebi Rabdi: Which is just a five on my list. And this one was the food of the day for me. Really nice jalebi with thick rabadi.

▪We also tasted cheese *Chilly toast* , *Mung dal kachori*, *Kanda kachori*, *Puri bhaji*, *Joshi special missal pav*, *Special dahi puri*, *Dahi wada* and they were all perfect.
▪Kanda bhajiya and mung dal bhajiya was served with a green chutney and guys this is damn amazing, you should definitely give it a try.
▪Again aalo paratha , paneer paratha, joshi basket chat, masala taak to refresh you up, sweet lassi...and the list is never ending!😂
🙋🏻♂Owner is such a ZINDAA DIL INSAAN 😍 and he has maintained the taste perfectly.

A place to become 'regulars' of!
A spread of good vegetarian food always makes me feel good. So, recently, I visited to this cafe cum restaurant, an open air spot where you can eat good veg food and just go on eating, a place where you can off and on, to have the same food and become a 'regular' of Joshi Upahar Gruh.
For the first time in Pune, I visited such wonderful outlet which offers a range of good food and for the taste of anybody (not just Puneites).
Like they have Delhi style Chhole Bhature, Bangalore style Mysore Masala Dosa, Gujarat style Dhoklas and obviously the Puneri Misal.
They have good breakfasts like Upma, Chai, Filter Coffee, Sandwiches and Parathas.
They do have the best in evening snacks like bhajiyas, Chaat, paani Puri and milkshakes.
Lastly, they do have a legacy in serving good sweet dishes. I had one the best modaks of life here at Joshi sweets. Also enjoyed having, Jalebi Rabdi combo.
If you are hungry reading such wonderful names, whatever is the time of the day, just rush to Joshi Upahar Gruh and grab some bites.

Little did I know that a regular, ordinary looking food joint in Kothrud will take me aback. Joshi Uphar gruh, serves regular snacks, breakfast and other such meals at their big Erandwane outlet.
The food is reasonably good. The sabudana khichdi was one of the best I have ever had and is a must try. The pani puri, something that I am very peculiar about was also extraordinarily good. Other notables were daal kachori, poori bhaji, kanda and daal bhaji, chilli cheese sandwhich and chole bhature.
I bought three packets of Puran Poli as well and they were neatly made but could have used a bit more jaggery.
Some food items can improve a bit like the misal pav which was really dry and nothing like good misals across pune. The pav bhaji was also just okay.
They have self service but the food is prepared really quickly.
What is really amazing is that the cost for food is really the same as on the streets. Total damage for two can be less than Rs 150 and for that quality of food, it is very well worth it.
I absolutely recommend this place for breakfast and evening snacks.

Visited this small outlet last week! First of all it’s very hard to find this place because of it’s location! But being foodie you have to find such places which are pocket friendly and amazing in taste! Talking about their ambience not so huge but it’s proper puneri style sitting like steel chairs and those tables.
Coming to the main point - FOOD
The very first thing we tried here is
1) chole bhature- The bhatura was too big and crispy too and talking about choe the best masala i ever tasted.
2)pav bhaji: It was medium spicy and Good in taste not that much but.

3) misal pav: misal pav always be the hottest topic in Pune blogging but believe me if you are true misal lover and you know the proer taste of misal pav you should visit this outlet!

4)cheese chilly sandwich: Good but not upto the mark

5) Thalipith: seriously it was beyond exceptional. Truly amazing.

6) Chaat: For chaat making they have the proper chef from north since chaat was always the hit dish of north. Exceptionallly fabulous.

7)Sabudana: No words. This should be the first dish you should try here.

8)Aloo paratha & paneer paraatha: Tastes good but stuffing was not that much which one should except

Visited this snacks house to try out their different dishes. They offer variety of dishes in their menu. You will be confused what to order by looking at the menu as there are lot of items and all are good. Here's review of some of items I tried.
- Chhole Bhature: This is first dish I tried. Giant bhatura with chhole, very good dish for snacks. Bhatura was crispy. Portion is enough for one person.
- Joshi Special Misal Pav: The rassa of misal was consistent with tasty farsan. Liked it.
- Pav Bhaji: Bhaji was consistent in taste with good amount of butter in it.
- Sabudana Khichdi: This is very good option for fast. They serve special type of curd (their secret recipe) with it which was nice.
- Pani Puri: Puri was crispy. Pani was good in taste not that sweet and not that spicy.
- Basket Chat: Chat made in the basket of potato. Taste was good with transitional Delhi chat taste.
- Cheese Chili Toast: This was bread full of cheese and some chili.
- Veg Sandwich: Sandwich was good.
- Paneer Paratha: It was full of paneer stuffing.
- Ukadiche Modak: Perfectly crafter modaks full of sajuk tup. Must try dish.
- Jalebi Rabdi: This was best among all. Crispy jalebi with consistent radbi, a deadly combination.
- Tea: Ended this heavy meal with special tea by Joshi Upahargruha. This was very good.
Overall, very good option for morning or evening snacks.
Excellent place for ghar ka khana, sabudana khichadi & other breakfast foods are just amazing, sandwich has a bit monotonous taste which is stuffed full and quantity wise is worth it but still has a monotonous taste which i got bored of, I will rate 4 stars!
A pretty big place near null stop for breakfast and quick eats. They have a pretty big board so it's hard to miss.
The menu has variety of eatable right from typical breakfast options to parathas and lunch thalis They even have chat options.
I tried their missal pav, vada sambar and mysore masala dosa. It was really good and pocket friendly.

गेले कित्येक दिवस घरी जाता - येता जोशी उपहारगृहाकडे नजर पडायची, अाणि बऱ्याच लोकांकडून कौतुक देखील एकलं होत. पण जाण्याचा मुहुर्तच लागेना. शेवटी काल दृढनिश्चय करुन आम्ही तिथे पदार्पण ठेवले.
जागा तशी छोटीच आहे. १२-१५ टेबलं असतील. २ चाकी वाहनांनसाठी आत छोटं पार्किंग आहे.
शनिवार असल्यामुळे तिथे गर्दी होतीच परंतु आम्हाला लगेच बसायला जागा मिळाली. मेन्यू बघुन काय घेऊ आणि काय नको असं झालं होतं कारण सगळंच भारी वाटत होत. शेवटी ढोकळा, छोले-भटुरे आणि जिलेबी- रबडी घ्यायचं ठरलं.
ढोकळा- (३.५/५)- दिसायला उत्कृष्ट आणि चवीला देखील चांगला होता परंतु काहीतरी कमतरता जाणवत होती आणि मीठ देखील कमी वाटले.
छोले-भटुरे- (४.५/५)- अप्रतीम! अजिबात तेलकट नेसलेले गरमागरम भटुरे व उत्कृष्ट छोले. जरुर ट्राय करा.
जिलेबी- रबडी- (५/५)- साजुक तुपातल्या, ताज्या, गरमागरम आणि कुरकुरीत जिलब्या व त्यावर घट्ट आणि गार रबडी. खाल्ल्याच क्षणी तोंडातून वाह् निधाले. एकंदरीत जोशींना हे प्रकरण जमलेलं आहे.
येथे सेल्फ सर्वीस आहे आणि सर्वीस फास्ट आहे त्यामुळे खोळंबुन रहावं लागत नाही.
एकंदरीत अनुभव खूप चांगला होता. त्यामुळे परत भेट द्यायला हरकत नाही असं आमचं मत झालं.

Nice hidden gem in Pune. Really wonderful experience for all kinds of maharashtraian sweets and farshan. I specially loved their matar samosa and amrkhand. If you want to empress someone with great quality sweets and farshan this is the place you can take them. Nice original place where everything is as it should be. Staff are very nice and well mannered. Parking for bike and car is not a issue. Its is manly pack and move kind of place not dine in kind.no seating arrangements are their.

Nice place for a good number of items. Like their ready to eat stuff like Gul poli, puran pilu. Matar karanji kotimbir vadi are good too. Not a big fan of their samosas. Bengali sweets were good. Chole is available in Sunday's which is good (slightly oily).
