I ordered catering for a birthday party get together for a group of friends and family. delivered the Falafel Lovers food a bit late but warm. I had multiple people come up to me and say it was the best Lebanese food they had ever had.I can't wait to have them cater my next event and will always recommend them in the future!

So i went alone to try various dishes.
I ordered 1. Mexican Rice and 2. Garlic pita with Hummus.
#Mexican rice which consisted of Saute vegetable, Beans, Sweet corn, Spring onion, A sparkling of chilly flakes along with fried rice. This dish was served in pan. Taste was awesome.
#Garlic pita with HUMMUS. This is a Lebanese dish. The HUMMUS was made from bread and was served with yummy garlic paste.😋😋

Very good mediterrian food if you want to try something different. Its a small restro located in Viman Nagar, serves Veg food only. Tried few dishes and mocktail. Good place for decent dinner .

We went to this joint yesterday as a group of famished people. We ordered the Lebanese roll platter, the 2 in 1, pasta arrabiata, Tabasco pizza, a coconut cream and a strawberry drink.
We loved each and every thing that we ordered. Everything had a different taste. The 2 in 1 was the first to arrive with a big pita bread sliced in 2 and stuffed with salad of lettuce, olives, Jalapeños etc served with falafel and a hummus dip. Then came the Lebanese roll where they had fried the pita in garlic butter and it was heavenly. Garlic butter pita was ordered again. The platter also came with 3 types of dips: hummus, mint mayo (super delicious), ketchupy salsa (ho hum). There were 3 elongated what I call bhajjis (they were very delicious at that: crisp on outside and rich and creamy on the inside). That's not all, it is served with a couscous salad as well if somebody's watching their weight. Then came the pizza. It was perfectly baked with a thin crisp crust lots of jalapeños and tomato toppings along with a generous amount of cheese. Lastly we got the pasta arrabiata which any spice loving Indian would love because although it had a nice smoky flavour, it was quite spicy and this is where our drinks helped us. If you absolutely want to order this then you might want to ask them to tone down the spice levels a tad bit.
We paid 290 per person amongst the five of us for an overfull tummy. Would visit at the next opportunity!
This was intact the best middle eastern vegetarian fare for me in a long long time.
A non veg fan like me steps into this veg place only to be pleasantly surprised. The falafel tacos (in pic) and the mushroom manakish (pizza as in the restaurant zomato pic) were simply superb. So was the hummus and pita bread. We were the only ones in the restaurant and were not sure why that was the case, but we have no reason to be disappointed. I will recommend this place to those who like to try a different taste. And the board games and rustic ambience is cool too. They have some photos on the wall which may make you think they serve beer, but they don't .. sigh !
One of the few veg restaurants in Pune that serves authentic and yet yummy falafel at reasonable cost.The dips served are excellent and full score on doing justice to Lebanese cuisine. A sure treat for veg lovers like me!!!
We love this place! Such a comfort to have a pure Vegetarian restaurant to eat out. The preparations are authentic, tasty and with large servings. We go there regularly and have yet to be disappointed which is a huge relief! Consistency is vital for keeping regular customers. Good size tasty serves at a good price will keep people coming back! A nice espresso machine with a nice Arabica bean would make the place perfect for me!
I always wondered about this restaurant. However, this monsoon I decided to give it a try. The ambience is nice, and funky, but not cozy.
Anyhow I had never tried falafels before. At first, I ordered 'Stuffed Falafel bites' which showed as a recommended order in Zomato delivery of this restaurant. I did not like it much. Next I tried to kick it up a notch and order something exotic.
So I went with the Moroccan Falafel with Pita bread. Hands down one of the best pita pockets I have ever eaten. The vegetables were cooked in really good sauce! The cold coffee could have been a lot better.
I am giving 4 rating to this restaurant solely because of the Moroccan Pita Pockets.
A great place to treat yourself and friends with a platter that's different. The falafel meal we ordered was not only bang for buck but also one of the most enriching,healthy and delicious meals I've had in months. The dips and hummus are lip smacking and so is their pizza. The decor and ambience is typically retro giving you a feel of old Lebanese street joints. We entertained ourselves by going through few books in the restaurant. It was open to guests even at 11pm.
Place where u can get authentic Arabic and Lebanese food..Obviously if u like falafal..U won't miss out this place.and if u don't know what falafal is,it's worth to come n try out the yummy and delicious falafals..😍

This place is really close to my house & I had a completely different thought when I was seeing it come up. I didn't expect it to be one of favourite places in Pune but it all changed right from my first visit. Friendly smiling staff & great service. Of course the food is great! The lebanese cuisine is a must have but one must also try the sizzlers. I am a hardcore non veg eater but this place changed my love for veg food too. The ambience is also beautiful. I love the outside area & every little thing put up here right from the lights, little vertical plants, cycle table to the little grass on the ground. Music is low so it's a perfect place for good food & conversations with your loved ones. I have been here few tims now & I surely recommend all.

We ordered Garlic Pita bread with hummus, tacos, mexican rice and falafel butes.
The garlic pita bread with hummus was good, but when we ordered it on our second visit there, it didn't taste as good and neither did the hummus.
Tacos were delicious, absolutely loved the filling. The presentation of the dish was nice as well.
Mexican rice was amazing, I don't usually like rice dishes however this was so good that i wanted more.
Coming to falafel bites- not really sure what they're supposed to taste like, but these tasted like 'mangode' and were not that tasty either.
There is indoor as well as outdoor seating and the place is nicely decorated. There's a separate corner for book lovers to sit and read+eat at.
Service is nice and prompt, however it would be even better if the waiters didn't go and stand in the corner instead of asking the customers if they need anything else.
Absolutely amazing. If you want to have real Mediterranean flavors in Pune then go for it. They have decorated the ambiance with lot of heart. Freshly baked pita pockets and falafel. Yum ! Its nice to see that they have not modified the original recipe. It's authentic. Nice cafe to hangout with friends and family.

Mustali HusainThis is probably one of those times when you'll find a hardcore non-vegetarian like me, actually be content with vegetarian food.
Usually, Lebanese food is famous for offering Kebabs, Shawerma Sarooq's as the main highlights, Falafel lovers is actually doing a fab job of portraying the vegetarian side of Lebanon/ Middle east region.
The place even at the first sight gives you a feeling of being calm and peaceful.
Offers indoor/outdoor seating. Upon entering, the seating is quite spacious, props used seem to be a bit old just to have that vintage rustic look. A section is dedicated to books and gives you the feeling of being in a "quite corner".
I was actually recommended by one of my colleagues to visit this place for its "in a subtle way quaint" look and its offerings, and the Manakish was actually an incentive having stayed in the middle east consistently for the last 20 years and counting.
We tried just two things and I'll be visiting again so kept the rest for later:
The mini meal: This came with a couple of Falafel bites, served with pita bread, a salad bowl complete with a lot of olives, served separately the garlic or "Thoum" , Hummus and Muhammara. A soft drink pop can too was served along with that.
The other things which I wanted to have was Manakish, this is something that Indian people are not really accustomed to having. Essentially it is a flat bread like a Pizza , however is coated with herbs similar to Thyme/ Oregano i.e Zaatar and sesame seeds. Quite healthy.
The falafels could have been a bit more soft, probably fried a tad bit much. Manakish was very close to what I tried in Saudi Arabia, so happy I got a place to have that in Pune. Try using a bit more dough.

Last evening I stumbled upon this place, the typical diner signage at their façade grabbed my attention. I'm not really a falafel lover, but I was open to becoming one.
Ordered a Greek and an Arabic Falafel, along with Garlic Pita bread with hummus, everything seemed quite nice but honestly, it could've been better. I liked the ambience and the décor but there is a limited comfortable seating in the alfresco dining area (which was occupied) hence had to sit in the air-conditioning area. The indoor ambience was pleasantly surprising with a cosy corner for books, a wall opposite full of interesting posters. The chairs, tables and the centrepieces were eccentric to say the least.
The owner took out time to have a word with us, it was nice to have a personal touch to our dining experience.
I've given a 4 rating, out of which 1 has been added as an afterthought for all the awesome music they played. It seemed like my iPod list and I absolutely had a great time as nostalgia seeped in.
Will go back definitely, hoping for an alfresco experience this time :)
Best place to crash in for vegans. Good ambience, friendly staff, cheap food with no compromise on quality and their song selection is quite impressive. Do try their garlic wheat pita bread and request to add zaatr to it.
Would totally recommend this lovely new place to everyone! We tried all the three cuisines they offer i.e. Mexican, Lebanese and Italian. Absolutely loved the fact they are 100% vegetarian, I am a vegan and don't consume any dairy as well, they were very friendly and customised my food accordingly.

Falafel Lovers is the brainchild of Tapan and Nupur Jain, and is the first restaurant to serve pure vegetarian Lebanese cuisine in Pune. Located in Viman Nagar, the flashy signboard cannot be missed! The interiors have a rustic feel to it and looks appealing. The first thing that comes to us when we read about any Middle Eastern Cuisine is the use of non vegetarian products in their food. But Falafel Lovers show us a different take on Lebanese cuisine. Their menu has many traditional dishes and we got to taste some of those delicious delicacies .
The first thing that comes to my mind when I think of Italian food is pizza or Mexican food makes me instantly think of nachos. Similarly , Lebanese food reminds us of chicken shawarma. . As Lebanese is the cuisine from the middle eastern countries, poultry and sea food is consumed on a huge scale.
Very nice food, i went there with high hopes and it was fulfilled.I am a big falafel fan and one of my favourite ones is from Amsterdam. This one was equally good. Also, nice ambience adds to the experience.
Small but decent outlet for quick food. Menu is mix of labanese and maxican dishes. Falafel was tasty, but highlight was their nachos. Loaded with cheese, olives and toppings. Must try!

I was there a week ago for lunch with a friend of mine, and what I had on mind was to try something new - something I hadn't tried before. I would say this place did not disappoint me at all. I was there at 2 pm on a weekday, so the place was pretty vacant except for a couple of folks who were there to pick up parcels. The restaurant which really is setup more like a cafe is pretty cosy and well-decorated. One can sit indoors and outdoors, and I think they have some special arrangements outside in the evening.
Food : I was there to try some vegetarian Lebanese food. We ordered the Arabic Falafel, Cheese and Onion Manakish and Pasta Arrabita. I loved both the falafel and the Manakish. I have Falafel often when in Europe and I would say the offering here very delicious. The bread was really soft and the flavours very pleasing. The falafel itself was very filling. The Manakish was a first for me. For someone who has no idea what it is - it looks similar to a pizza with a flat base topped with herbs, cheese and onion. It has a salty tinge to it. Definitely something you should try. I couldn't finish it, so I took the rest packed with me. My brother who doesn't usually like many new dishes also liked it quite a bit.
I plan to go and try some more stuff soon. But, definitely a place I would recommend if you are looking to try something new, vegetarian and not harsh on the pocket.

Commonly the word ‘Lebanese’ is synonymous with Shawarmas, Doner Kebabs, Sliced Meat, Grilled Meat and some more Meat. ‘Falafel Lovers’ is here to buck the trend and enunciate that ‘Lebanese is not just about heavy duty meat’.

I have had Lebanese cuisine in many parts of the world and I find this restaurant does the Lebanese cuisine proud. Their serves are tasty and of a decent size as opposed to the small sizes and high prices found in India in general. Even though specializing in Lebanese cuisine the Nachos are certainly the best I have had in India! And the serves are generous not like the 6 or 8 nachos chip serves of other so called Mexican restaurants in India.
We now have an excellent choice of healthy Vegetarian cuisine in Pune! This is definitely our Restaurant of choice for very good food and is now one of our regular stops.

Even if you are a hardcore non vegetarian but love lebanese food you should defenitely put this restaurant on your go to list because you will start loving veg by seeing the huge variety of dishes here.
I was here on tasting panel with three other foodies. As I entered the big colourful board of "falafel lovers" was eye catching. Loved the decor of the place, very aesthically appealing. It's a really small place (area wise) but it's utilised so beautifully. It gives a very cafe like vibe.
So they start by giving you the menu along with it they provide a paper where all items served are written and a pencil. You got to tick whatever you want to order and give it to them. I really liked this concept. Prices seemed pretty decent of all the items.
What we ordered- 1. Stuffed falafel bites.
2. Garlic pita with hummus
3. Arabic falafel & madrid falafel
4. Lebanese rice
5. Spaino colli pita (pizza)
6. Veggie hot pocket
7. Tabbouleh (salad)
8. Cottage cheese&onion manakish

Presentation of all the food items was neat and immaculate.
Starting with stuffed falafel bites the filling inside was nice and falafel was perfectly crispy from the outside however I felt the taste could have been much better ,this is the only dish I was a little disappointed with.
Then we were served with garlic pita with hummus, hummus was pristine and tasted great. The garlic pita had had just the right amount of garlic flavor and went just well with the hummus.
Next was arabic falafel & madrid falafel. These were falafel in open pita breads with their respective sauces. The arabic version was bomb, loved it & also these were quite filling.
Next was spaino colli pita melts , this was basically spinach&brocolli pizza. It had pita as the base and it did justice to its name.
Then we were given veggie hot pockets it was pita stuffed with exotic veggies, tasted much like a veg sandwich but only better.
Next was manakish- I guess this is the only place in Pune that serves manakish & my soul was dancing hearing that this place serves manakish. Usually manakish is topped with meat but at FalafelLovers the veg version was equally tasty. They have variety of manakish's on the menu so do give it a try whenever you are here.
After this we had tabbouleh(an arab salad usually made of finely chopped ingredients) I wouldn't say this was the best version of tabbouleh but it wasn't bad could have been better maybe.
Lastly we had "lebanese rice" , this is not on menu yet but it was one of my favourites from this place. The flavours were too good. They are planning to put it up on menu soon , as of now these are served in the lebanese sizzler.
To end this filling & scrumptious meal we were served with sizzling brownie with icecream which was really good.
They have also got "baklava" on the menu if you want to end your meal in the aunthentic way.
To sum it up this place is every foodie's paradise with wide range of items & warm lebanese touch to everything.
The place run by extremely sweet & humble couple.
Oh and also DO NOT forget to click pictures in the outside area with the FL sign & heart, It's all done soo beautifully.

Now, here goes a detailed review as this place deserves one.
It has been a long time since i had a good falafel, and my search for authentic veg falafel, served in a freshly baked pita pocket, finally ended up here. It was very flavourful, and in a generous quantity, and i could feel the taste of all the exotic ingredients like olives, gerkins, avocado, parsley etc stuffed in them. The chickpea falafel, which they call falafel bites, were crispy and tasted heavenly with labneh dip.
Nachos were perfectly made with the right amount of baked beans, cheese etc, and i dont think anybody can go wrong while making nachos. The salsa dip was also fresh and tasted good.
Mint & Cucumber mocktail and Guava goodness mocktail were very soothing and refreshing.
Next, we ordered Ravioli pasta as not many places serve ravioli because of the time it takes to prepare. Although it took some time, but WOW, the stuffed pasta was wonderfully made, and i could not believe that i could get such a delicious pasta here. I've had ravioli a couple of times before, but man, this was out of the world.
My overall experience here:

They have used nice props like a vintage motorbike, a bicycle table, lamps made out of old buckets, tables made out of those old barrels and what not. Liked the concept of old-style interiors. Good music makes the atmosphere lively. They have a live kitchen, which gives me an assurance of the quality and hygeine of the food. Not like the other places where u always wonder how clean and hygenic would the kitchen be.

Amazing place! Visited yesterday with my colleagues after office. We loved the ambience. Staff is very overwhelming. Owner came to us and welcomed us with a smile. We ordered falafel family meal, paneer shashlik, Alfredo pasta and garlic exotica sizzlers.I personally loved falafel with pita bread. To pass the time they hav different games. we started playing uno but food came while distributing the cards itself. Mocktails are quite good. I liked Lemon surprise. Overall, had a very good time having food and would love to visit again.

Was in Pune for a few days and went to this place at a friend’s birthday treat. Good choice of music, the courteous staff and rustic ambience were amongst the first things that we came across as we entered. Since, we were around 10 people it took a little longer for the order to arrive but the food made it up for the delay. The waiters were always attentive and we were pre-informed that sizzlers would take a little longer to arrive. But since, we were served with starters & mocktails pretty much on time, we were ok with the delay.
The dishes like Mexican rice, Falafels, Pesto Pasta and American Corn Chilly sizzler were Scrumptious and in Generous quantities and I’ve never had this tasty hummus ever. Their Coconut Cream mocktail is Fantabulous and NOT TO BE MISSED. They don’t charge for water bottles, which was kind of a surprise to me.
In all, it was a perfect place for a small party, that too, when it comes to vegetarian food apart from regular dals and sabjeez (note that I am not a veg food lover)
By the way, the bday guy was also served with a complimentary sizzling brownie, which was soooper yummy, and we ended up ordering three more.

Great place to hangout!!
I went here for lunch with a friend. The very first thing that I liked was the interior. The outer sitting area as well inside area is very well designed. Interior is very unique. They have put up very different type of chairs/stools and tables. Next thing you would notice is the menu card. I have added a photos of everything. It's very unique as well.
We ordered - Greek Falafel and Mexican Falafel; and cranberry fizz and iced coffee and chocolate crush for drinks.
The order came in about 15 mins, till the time we played Uno!! They have a variety of games as well.
I liked Mexican Falafel more than Greek Falafel as I was having Falafel for the first time and that to Greek flavour(which also I tried for the first time). Since, I've had Mexican food before so I liked Mexican one, but I'm sure you would like Greek as well if you have had it before. :)
Cranberry fizz was good; Iced coffee and chocolate crush was more like cold coffee, so you would wanna try something else.
I really wanted to try Manakish as well, bit I was already full so I'm gonna try it next time.

A new Lebanese food joint opened in Viman Nagar. The ambiance is different and refreshing with a lot of wooden work, bucket style lamps, saplings etc. The staff is very courteous. Unique menu style, although paper wastage remains a cause of concern. Food is good. We tried garlic pita bread with hummus, hot pockets and Indian falafel. All the items were great but hot pockets were something i would definitely come back for.
A must go place for veggie lovers...
Either go alone or in a group you will be enjoying this place... They provide games for time spending... Service is good...

Finally got a chance to visit this place which serves only Falafel.

This place has a good vibe, has a quirky decor and very beautiful frames on the walls and lovely mix of seating arrangements. Parking can be tricky and you may need to walk a little after you manage to find a spot at any road side parking space. Their unique analogue style of taking order is also impressive.

We had ordered original Falafel and a Lebanese roll accompanied by mango Orange smoothie.
The original Falafel was a nice experience. Something different then what we usually get at Cafe Arabia. The filling was kept in a pita pocket. And was nicely mixed with herbs and spices. All the ingredients were prominently felt. But the falafel was neither hot nor crispy. It was served with tahini topped with olive oil and sliced black olive ring and parsley dressing.
The lebanese roll took us with surprise. It was nice, crunchy, crispy tikkis which were served with an amazingly herbilicious labneh.
Mango & Orange smoothie was best. It had amazing texture and was perfect mixture of the fruits and just the amount of sugar.

Visited during lunch with my cousins. Decor outside is really good but it being a sunny day we opted to sit inside. Interiors were fine with great music. Their innovative factor is the menu and the way order needs to be placed. Menu is pinned to a wooden plank along with sheets which has menu items listed. Each person is given the plank, we need to check the items and hand it over.

Tried the mini meal, quantity is brilliant and it's fit for two. The ambience is really rustic and nice. Don't really find such places in Pune. Service is really good and staff is extremely friendly. Did not expect such a good vibe from Falafel Lovers. Must visit.
This place has a retro vibe to it, with 80s 90s music playing in the background. The food here is also great especially the pizzas and the sizzlers. You can come here with your friends and take in the 'vatavaran' of this place.
Excellent food and amazing service. The ambience is pretty good. Tried arabiatta pasta and Indian falafel. Was too tasty. Should give it a try. A place worth coming over again to try all the dishes on the menu.
Amazing food and excellent service. They also replaced Mexican rice which was spicy with a less spicy one. The waiters there are trained well and give good service.

Garlic Rice was just amazing. I would suggest everyone to try Garlic Rice. Although I was disappointed as Non-Veg was missing from the menu...but amazing hospitality, nice ambience and great quality food made up for the disappointment.
Vegetarian place, but was really impressed with the authentic taste of their food. Having eaten and loved Lebanese food all my life, this is as close as it gets. Hummus and all their dips are fresh, and you can see there's effort put into preparation. Serving portion is good. I had an Arabic Falafel, fries and a side of garlic hummus. Would love a shawarma option on the menu, but I'm not complaining!

We ordered the vegetarian melt, mix pasta, cranberry fizz and sunrise crush in drinks.. The food was really good especially the mix pasta and the sunrise crush was very smooth and tasty.. The quantity was a bit less than expected compared to the prices.. The ambience is excellent and the outdoor seating is placed under a canopy of trees.. It's a cozy place with good service...
I am not a big fan of "Vegetarian Only" joints but our stopover at this visually attractive new place proved to be worthwhile. We ordered Stuffed Falafel Bites first with the Coconut Cream mocktail. Refreshing! to say the least and the portions are apt too. Pita pockets with hummus is also a delight to eat. We then went on to order the Falafel Sizzler and that got us filling. We wanted to eat more but our tummies advised against it. Overall a fantastic new place that will see me visiting more often than not. 7 Stars!

Newely opened place in Viman Nagar near Symbi CCD. They serve only veg but have a pretty long menu that covers mocktails, Falafels, Pitas, Pasta, Manakish (Arabic pizza) n Sizzlers.
I tried the Coconut Cream mocktail which was similar to Pinacolada and good in taste.
Also tried the Arabic Falafel. Came in 2 halves Pita pocket. Taste was good especially the Falafel balls which very light crispy and flavourful.
The ambience is nothing like a veg or falafel restaurant. Not that I'm trying to stereotype but its more on the lines of a bistro or cafe. Good nevertheless.
Being a pure vegetarian and a ardent falafel lover would definitely come again to try other stuff on their menu.

This place has great tasting fresh food with some kickass lemon ice tea. The fresh one which doesn't taste ready made. Friendly service staff and some beautiful decor make it a great place.

Very retro stylish decor and the food is completely veg. Menu is also creative and diverse. Food and drinks were very nicely garnished.and the food testes great. Hope they remain same over The quantity of food is also great. Over all value for money and definitely worth checking out.

A week old restaurant in Viman Nagar, with just the cuisine I was looking for. Lebanese has always been my favourite and we decided to try this place today, on our way to another restaurant. We ordered for falafel, the pockets, hummus and manakeesh. The manakeesh was more like a pizza, perhaps keeping local taste in mind. The falafels were Allright in texture, albeit spicy. The pita bread was just perfectly done (for the pockets) although I'd definitely prefer them to have more pickled vegetables. The hummus was disappointingly runny, however I'm sure that's something that will be sorted with trial and error in no time. Will definitely go back to try other stuff. Staff (and owner) super receptive when it came to feedback. They offer paytm too, which is a bonus.

I was invited on their opening night for tasting tables and boom! It was the best meals this month. My year did ended on a very scrumptious meal. Falafel Lover is a brand of Surat, recently opened up in Viman Nagar with Mr. Tapan Jain and his wife along with their Surat based partner at helm. Chef Meghana is the brains and hands behind the kitchen. The team has surely figured out how to get happy nappy customers leave without appreciating them.
Ambience: Rusty and a bit kick-ass with old bikers theme in lieu. For casual dining, it has the best ambience in Viman Nagar till date. Hands-down. Though the seating is bit sparse, your waiting time should be worth it.
Service: Opening night, servers are bound not to receive any complaint here.
Food: We were given a plethora of dishes, infact every dish from the illustrious menu was given to us. Quantity is just humongous!
The Hits: Falfels (had to be hit), falafel Taco Bombs (A must order!), Garlic Breads, Pasta and Coconut Cream mocktail. The sala served with taco bombs was very fresh with hints of spices.
The misses: Labneh dip.
The almost goal but hit the Post: Pizza (too olive oil and cheesy for me. Toppings were spread equally), Sizzler (too much rice and less veggies), Pita Pockets (they serve Whole Wheat Pita. Yaay!) And Sizzling Brownie.
Final: A must visit. I hope they remain consistent. Jewel in the city!

Falafel Lovers is probably the best place you'll find to relish extremely good Mediterranean food. Its even a heaven for Vegans which is rare these days.
