"Without ice cream, there would be darkness and chaos" - Don Kardong. Well, maybe not the chaos, but without Sujata Mastani's delicious mastani's and ice creams lighting up the night along with a huge crowd, there would certainly be darkness in this part of town at night.
Sujata Mastani is one of the few places that a Punekar can call his own. Fantastic taste, very good pricing and good service is what defines this place.
Coming to the mastani's, whatever flavor you try, you are surely in for a treat! Be it Mango, Chocolate, Sitaphal, Kesar Pista, ....well the list goes on! Another thing I came to know a few days back is that you can mix flavors! Ice cream scoop of one flavor and the milkshake of another! Well, I had to try that! So another trip to Sujata was underway! Tried the kesar pista-mango combo and the sitaphal ice cream with the chocolate milk combo. Even the guy taking the order was surprised on hearing the second one!
Will definitely recommend!! Good place to take any friends or guests who are not from Pune and want to try something different. I'm sure they will love what "Amcha Pune" has to offer!
Because of the much hype, we went to this place. had nice experience with shop place and thank god, it had setting arrangements. ice-cream taste good, though i was disappointed with flavors, they were same old classic flavors, nothing new. Need to appreciate that, they used real pulp and with fruits and dry fruits. hope they are not using anything synthetic. keep on the good work.�
Sujata Mastani......Such an awesome ice cream. The delicacy of mastani is worth to experience and that too only at Sujata Mastani only. I tried Keshar Mango flavour and it was just amazing. Go and enjoy this awesome drink......

I’ve tried chocochip ice cream, pista mastani but I liked the mango mastani very much. The rich mango flavour topped with dryfruits give a very rich flavour. That mixture of creaminess and mango pulp with that topped dry fruits give it an alluring or tempting tastes.

Authentic mastani of Pune is served here. We tried the sitaphal, kesar mango and mango mastanis. All were good. The mango was way too sweet but they all had the fruit pulp and favoured ice cream which was quite rich. The big mastani quantity is quite good for the price. Place is self service but hygienic.
Legendary desert outlet in Pune. This place has been satisfying desert cravings of Punekars for years now. They have outlets in every few kms in Pune now.
Had the mango mastani, dry fruits mastani and butterscotch mastani. All the mastanis were delicious. Though I found the dry fruits mastani a little bit on the sweeter side, but my friend liked it.

They have many outlets and this outlet is bigger than the rest. Sujata Mastani is the most famous centre in Pune. Mastani is also served in Mumbai but it does taste different. By the way Mastani is not an ICE CREAM. It's A combination of flavoured milk, ice cream, and fresh mango and it’s an absolute treat. The quantity was great.
The mango mastani here is recommended, it is probably the best thing they make. The sita phal mastani is good too. Though they lack parking and even it is crowded sometimes so there is literally no space to stand and eat/drink it.
I have always enjoyed the Mastanis here.. especially the Spl. Mango Mastani during summers. But in the last few visits I noticed a change in the quality and taste and no not for the better. I just hope it could go back to its original quality that was far better.

Never ever have i regretted visiting these outlets. Everytime Sujata mastani has stunned me by their ice creams as well as mastani experience. I have tried almost every single thing on their menu now, still my favorite remains mango mastani and keshar pista.
I always try asking for sitaphal and i get a big NO, god knows when is the appropriate season for it. I think the sadashiv peth outlet is the oldest and remains open till 12-1AM midnight during summers.

I had been hearing about Sujata mastani since 2 years. But never got a chance to taste it, but when I ordered it experience was very good. You can feel the flavor also milk and cream in it, though cream(ice cream scoop in mastani) could be even better, but overall experience was very good.
Visited this place as it is famous among locals. Had their trademark Mango Kesar Mastani and it was yumm. Not much parking space. Place is hygenic and service is quick. Liked the caption on the menu which said "Mastani is not an ice cream".

They have many outlet of sujata mastani in Pune but I like this outlet...there is a sitting here... mastani is the jaan of Pune...dry fruit mastani is my favourite...they have great variety to choose from including seasonal fruits...don't parcel home as the ice cream will melt and won't be able to enjoy the taste at it's best...so enjoy ur mastani ....

Hands down to one of the finest mango shakes I ever had. Mastani is mango milk shake to the simplest with variations. The mango milk shake to the finest is topped with ice cream that blends well and infused with the right amount of saffron that gives it the flavor, aroma and kick to stand out. The combo is amazing. To add some crunch and fun ordered the special dry fruit kesar mango mastani and the combo was perfect with dry fruits and cherry.
It's a small shop with standing and eating. Go out and have a sinful indulgence for this unique mango shake.

Heard a lot more about Sujata Mastani and after tried it i can say it is very delicious and yummy. Tried Mango Keshav Mastani . Located on the streets of sadashiv peth and several outlets also available all around Pune, everyone must try the Sujata Mastani as this is the speciality of Pune..

Being a Foodie, The first Thing I did after shifting to Pune was searching the Must Visit Restaurants/Food Places in Pune and one common place I found in almost every list was Sujata Mastani. Often Termed as A Pride of Punekar's,Sujata Mastani Offers almost 20 Different Flavors of Mastani making it really difficult to choose which one to eat.My Review is
1)Food- After seeing 20 Different Flavours of Mastani, It became really difficult for me to choose one but finally I selected Mango Keshar Dry fruit which is Sujata Special Mastani. The Moment i took first sip of the mangokeshar Milkshake,It Literally gave me heavenly Feel. The Milkshake, Icecream , Toppings everything was just beyond the Perfection.No wonder why Sujata Mastani is Punekars Pride😉.
2) Service- You have to self serve yourself yet the service is very Fast. the moment you order on counter, within 30 seconds you get your order, that's a cherry on the Cake.But due to Heavy Rush you might not get a Seat here.
In short It is Unarguably The Best Mastani Shop you ever Gonna Witness 😍.
Try their any outlet they provide the best mastani and have been doing doing it consistently even though the price is little high as compared to other places but you won't regret it once you try their mastani .

This place is quite crowded throughout the day. I wanted to visit this place since a long time. I loved the mango mastani. But I also hoped it would be a little thicker. The only problem here is that they accept only cash payment
Wanted to have it for a long time. And with so much heard about it we had to try it. We visited Pune for a weekend gateaway and went for a sight seeing. After visiting Shaniwar Wada, Tulsi Baug we decided to stroll around the streets and have a mango mastani. It was truly an amazing experience!!

Sujata mastani is one of the most famous places in Pune. It has around 20 outlets in Pune. There are number of favors available in mastani. I tried the dry fruit mastani. In summers people should try mango mastani, it is really delicious. They also provide half mastani, as the full mastani is quite heavy.
This is something unique or can say speciality of Pune city! If u visited Pune and u missed this, then the visit is incomplete my friend. Try and have this item tasted from this outlet only.... original taste. 😉
The mango mastani is heaven on earth..I don't know about the other flavours..Since this was all I had..But if it's anything like the mango mastani then it's meant to be great..The ice cream was perfect the milk base was perfect..It was like a mango mela for my tongue..And the best part is it wasn't overdone as well
We tried their seasonal sitaphal mastani and it was just awesome. Mango mastani was fabulous as usual.
The main shop was however closed and they are operating from a shop on the opposite side of the road. They do not accept UPI...it's cash only.

Sujata mastani is one of the famous place for Mastani in Pune , they have many outlets , I have tried several flavours of Mastani . Price is in the range of 100 rs for Mastani and for Icecream it is upto 300+. Parking place is not available . U have to park roadside .
Worth the hype.it was creamy milky with ice cream .all favours taste .but mango is thr best and sitafal the worse. They have a place to sit with family for few minutes just outside the place at a place opposite to it. I would definitely suggest this place a must try to hangout with frnds and family to cool out in summer.

Apart from that, I tried Tender Coconut ice cream which was good but the flavor of coconut wasn't so dominating. So you can skip that.
It was a great experience. They have 3-4 branches in Pune but none of them is near station, otherwise I'd have visited the store again.
