Yesterday my dad took me to this place stating that he used to come here and have bhel when he was a kid. And as he states the taste hasn't changed since. I found this place quite sober serving one the best bhel I have had so far. One must definitely visit this place . Much love to this place.
My friend take me to this place because he knows that i’m a CHAT lover. Tastewise bhel is 7/10, for Ambiance and hygiene i’ll give 8/10 and about the service 6/10. Quantity is too less compare to price for 1 BHADSHAHI BHEL that is Rs.40 whereas normal bhel price with sufficient quantity comes in Rs.30.

Especially the the chatnis that they serve. The place is a bit hard to find, but everything here his worth it.
50-year-old bhel place in Pune. I remember my grandfather telling me stories about this place. The bhel they make is really tasty. Price is definitely high. 40Rs for a plate of bhel. But then if you are on a food expedition in Pune then Bhel from this place has to be on your list. The place is small, can accommodate hardly 20 people. Hygiene is on point. Each table as sweet and tikhi chutney jars to customize the bhel according to your taste. Badhshahi bhel is the normal bhel and most loved dish here. Other dishes include Bhadang bhel, Sev puri and farsan bhel. Badhsahi bhel asked to be made spicy is my choice of dish. Tastes superb. Definitely recommended.
The year 1978 when Don (Old) was released and at all Ganpati pandals only Don was playing. Me and my three sisters and mom were returning home after Ganpati darshans and were famished. Suddenly we spotted this place. It was just a small shed with a few बाकडा type seating. We ordered a bhel each and gobbled it up more quicker than it arrived at our table.
It's 2017 year end and whenever I am on leave in Pune I have to visit this place. The taste is as good as it was in 1978. It beats the bhel out of all the bhels available in Pune.
Small place, sometimes difficult to find, it is in a Lane while going from Kem hospital to Apollo theater. Love their badang bhel. Hygiene is well maintained.

Minimal seating. Awesome taste of all the 4 different types of Bhel, Shev puri and Pani Puri.
They also sell home made packets of daily used spices, different types of groundnuts and many more.

An old place near Apollo theatre. The place is less . But it has its own charm and the management is maintaining it very well. Being a bhel house you get 4 types of bhel. The prices force you to try all of them . They have a unique style of serving pani puri. Visit the place to know the true essence of chaat .
A very homely place. It hasn't lost its old world charm even though a lot has changed around it! The seating capacity is less and you may have to wait for some time. Bhel is what they are famous for and rightly so!

A typical Puneri Tambya( water container ) and 4 small glasses put on evey table along with 2 other containers of sweet and spicy green chutteney. Green chutteney is real hot and spicy please mind it before you put it on Bhel or Shevpuri.
They also sell various traditional and home products that you can use it for daily purpose in your kitchen.
My Childhood place, visiting here from last 18 + years, test is too good same quality no differences as such, my wife & other family love to eat here, one for the best point to eat bhel. Try it.... all of you love it. not much style but test like owo...............:)

This is a complete childhood delight delicacy.... Just as other bhel chain out let's this one is having their very own taste to it.... Not much heavy on the pocket... Deeply loved by people here... Even now I visit this place..... Almost 20 years it's been great...!!!! The owner has noted great records of Their own...!!! Great taste try any thing... Simple tasty and hygienic...!!!

I am a fan of this place from childhood.. The taste of bhel is awesome with the correct amount of sweet n spicy. Also placed on the table are two cups with green chilly chutney and one with red tamarind chutney.. So in case u need to make variations in ur bhel u can just go ahead and do it. Also recommended is their S.P.D.P.

I had been to this place over 10 times.
Never knew it was listed on Zomato.
With a seating capacity of 16-20, this place is run by a Maharashtrian Family. Everything here is proper puneri.
Systematic.
On stepping in, you would 1st see a water container with 4 glasses on it.
As per the puneri tradition, if you see less number of glasses on a water container, it simply means you cant take water glass to your table. Water must be consumed only near the Water supply.
The flow of water is too slow. That says you must use limited.
Has CCTV cameras.
This places serves only Bhel and Bottled juices.
If i have to talk about the quality of bhel i would rate this place 5 on 5.
The quantity however, is too less compared to the price.
They have one mug placed on each table which has "Imli ki Chatni" in it.
On having your bhel, you can take this chatni as you need.
This has been done taking into consideration the choices of bhel people have. Some like it with extra chatni, some like less chatni.
Overall,
Bhel is good but charges are more.

Simply Awesome! This place is one of the best places in Pune for eating bhel. The oli bhel here has its unique taste. You can ask for a spicy bhel as well, but if you burn your mouth they have kajukand to reduce the effect. This place is on of the oldest places in Pune serving bhel.
Pani puri of interval bhel is a must try..
Visiting this place since a kid.. havent changed anythin.. same taste.. love it.. btw the name interval was kept since people came to have ot when there used to be a interval between movies in nearby appolo theatre.. 5 stars .. must try in pune..

Tucked away in the lane before Apollo Theater (if you are going from KEM, towards Apollo), is Interval Bhel House. Its one of the oldest Bhel Institutions in Pune run by a very sweet and traditional Maharashtrian family who's house is also just behind the joint. And hence the ingredients keep coming fresh from there at regular intervals.
A very homely and cozy place, with not a large capacity but can accommodate around 25 odd people. You will find many news paper articles and cut outs about the place doing the walls. Also they have a very catchy quote written on the wall, which I just liked - " If satisfied tell others, if not tell us". Well thought.
Coming to the food part, a very short and simple menu viz. The Badshahi (Bhel), Bhadang (Spicy Bhel), Sev Puri Pani Puri (which was shortly started).
Their Badshahi or the regular bhel, will no doubt feature on the top 3-4 best bhels in Pune. The trick is very simple - Fresh and the best ingredients. Its a perfect blend of all the elements in the right quantity - The farsan, boondi, Murmura (Puffed Rice), Sweet & Spicy Chutneys, Sev, Onions and topped off nicely with some Peanuts and Coriander.
The Bhadang served here is my personal favorite. Its the same as the Badshahi, just that instead of regular Murmura they use the Bhadang / Spicy Murmura (Puffed). The taste is wonderful with that little bit extra zing and spiciness added with the use of Bhadang.
On each table, they have kept the sweet tamarind chatni and the spicy green chutney for customers to add according to their tastes. A very good thing.
The bhel I have at most other places becomes soggy and soft after a while. But the Bhel served here manages to stay good for a fair amount of time (in fact a very long time). Dont know how these guys pull that off. Good when you want to take home Parcel. It is also very light on your stomach.
The sev puri is the flatter version one. Flat Puris, topped with a masala infused Potato Mixture, Onions, Coriander, Loads of Sev and finished off with some spice powder. The taste is just wonderful and will make you want more.
They also serve some drinks like Kokum and Limbu Sharbat to accompany the food. Parcels just keep flying out of this place. If you specify them to Parcel the Bhel separately i.e. the Mixture and the Sweet & spicy chatni separately they politely oblige.
Overall an excellent place to have Bhel, Bhadang and Sev Puri. Not a one to be missed.
