I am big fan of Kerala cuisine, and they serve tastiest of the Kerala dishes here. Biryani is a must-have!
If not for food, you can certainly go and have Kaapi and enjoy the ambience.

Was a nice place to go but it's unfortunately closed down due to some problems. Ambiance was ok menu was limited with very limited people working. Coffee was excellent food was also nice.

I have ordered chicken dum biryani.
Biryani was cooked in ghee, one can feel the taste. Biryani was perfect. Taste was good.
Quantity offered was enough for one person.
My overall experience was nice.
Kaappi Cafe is a unique place introducing Malabari and Thalasseri cusine. Loved the Chicken Biryani, Veg Stew with appam, Masala Ginger Tea, and Ghee rice also highly recommended! ;) Portions are sufficient and yet reasonably priced.
The Staff is jovial and serves food fresh and warm.
A good place for breakfasts. They have early bird discounts which is good for people who do night shifts and are hungry. Their Spanish bread omelette is really good. The staff is too friendly. 🤣🤣

Firstly the place is very quiet. Employees are very polite and friendly. Chicken coconut curry with idyappam is a fantastic combination and it is very delicious too. I would definitely suggest to try. Thank you.

Such a nice little place to have breakfast! The pizzas and pastas are awesome. The ambience is relaxing. Staff is courteous and attentive! Slightly overpriced though
First impression: A nice little south indian/Italian-looking place with simple, minimalistic but beautiful decor.
The owner had put together a great playlist which created the perfect atmosphere.
Details like cute menu cards, highrise stools and rustic-looking cutlery gives it an earthy touch.
Food: ordered arrabiata pasta, veg crunchy burger (came with French fries), kaapi(with cookies). The pasta was great, burger patty was delish and coffee was a perfect combo of bitter and sweet. The presentation was great too. Made the food look appetizing.

As far as my experience is concerned, the service was great too. But it was afternoon then so can't really comment on rush-hour service.
Coincidentally, I was there on the day of their first anniversary. Got a pretty good discount too, hence the perfect overall rating.😋
I have been here with my friends three times and it has been consistently amazing. Our servers are always very attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere is good as well..

This place was on our list for so many days and finally we made it. The place is small but not hidden. Very well decor and ambience is very good which makes it perfect place to hangout with your friends and have a different verieties of coffee(filter kaappi😍) .

Since the main reason to visit this place was to try malabari food therefore we decided to go for chicken pepper masala, chicken coconut curry with laccha paratha.
We loved chicken pepper masala and laccha paratha. Chicken pepper masala tasted very authentic with perfect blend of spices. Paratha was crispy and soft. Chicken coconut curry was also good.
Overall the place gives you authentic taste of food from kerala.
I visited this cafe post 9pm on a weekday with my friend. It is a small place with comfortable seating areas.
We ordered:
1. Malabar masala dosa - usual potato masala with beetroot and carrot which actually made it unusual. It was tasty. The chutney also tasted good. The sambhar was a little thick though but tasted well.
2. Cold samurai - less sugar thick coffee with figs and whipped cream. Yummmm
3. Cold Nirvana - a mix of very sweet and very bitter. The top portion had whipped cream and chocolate chips along with caramel syrup. Just below that was a layer of liquid bitter coffee but most of it spilled as i tried to insert a straw in the glass. Below that was thick coffee with very sweet caramel syrup.This tasted yummy too but towards the end it became very sweet.
4. Orange Tea - Hot tea without milk with oranges in it. I had it without sugar and it tasted okay.

I don't know how it's like now a days.. but I don't see my favourite dish from here on the menu anymore which is the iddiyappam.
Really good place for authentic South Indian food. I've cine here twice now for breakfast, had idiyappam the first time and Velappam the second time, Had veg stew both times to go with it. Really really tasty. The decor is pretty nice as well.
Here with Zeal Shah and this guy loved the virgin mojito A Lot.
A small neighborhood place, I often come here... being a Keralite joint, I prefer having Kerala food over the continental menu which is also offered...had tried a sandwich, which was good, so even the other dishes in the sandwich and allied variety will be good... value for money, chicken and vegetarian curries and rice preparations are awesome ! Veg stew is a must try !
the kerala paratha and mix vegetable sabji was great. especially the sabji,it was delicious. french fries were overfried and hence too hard. garlic bread was fine,not bad but neither good.
Kaappi,can be a most credible suggestion if you are longing for traditional ;spicy tastes of malabar/Kerala .Thalassery chicken dum biriyani and Malabari fish curry is that deliciously worth to give it more than a try .
Cheese Toast was good and full of cheese, toasts were a bit hard to chew.

I visited this cafe yesterday fantastic place and really good ambience.. I had ordered one piri piri fries 🍟 with mumbai grill sandwhich and a coffee, fries was little spicy but sandwich which i got was really tasty really loved the sandwich. .love to visit again and vl try your other items..good place to hangout..keepitup guys ✌✌

Tried special so called chicken biryani as per their suggestion. Test was different but good. Biryani was very cold. It would have been different test if it was steaming hot. Ambiance is very simple but lively. I found their dosa, parota and chicken very interesting. We completed our dinner with nicely decorated cold coffee.
I had Malabar chicken, laccha paratha and white pasta here... believe me the quality and taste was awesome..they have a good taste in music which certainly made the environment more soothing
Kaapi Cafe is a great place for Kerala style food, especially Thalassery/Kannur side. The biryani was excellent and really tasted malabari. Being from Kerala, I can say the taste was great and would definitely come back for more. Authentic parotha with great chicken curry, an amazing combination. This place is great and recommended for those who want Kerala style food. The spice level was just right and not overpowering. Amazing place. Do try it once.
As I am a coffee lover I used to hover around different cafes in the city.. awesome and quite place when you are finding peaceful cafe to hangout..there variety in coffee as well as food is awesome..also reasonable one..worth trying..!
Kaappi Cafe is a really cute outlet located in Kothrud. It has a really simple ambience decorated with some fairy lights which gives a cozy feel during evening or night.
I visited this cafe Yesterday for Sunday Dinner.
I ordered Nachos with Cheese, Kaapasta, Corninzza.
Nachos with Cheese - These are middle spicy Nachos served with Cheesy Dip, which has an amazing taste. It is a perfect combination of little bit sweet and tangy.
Kaapasta - This is basically their Pink Sauce Penne Pasta. It has bell peppers, broccoli and baby corns. Their pasta is a must try!
Corninzza - These are the breads topped with corn & cheese and baked properly until it gets crispy. I really enjoyed such crispy pieces served with a tangy dip!
I would give this place a big thumbs up 👍
And would definitely love to visit it again.

Very quiet little place on the busy street. Place is small but well decorated and maintained. I wasn't sure what to order here so went ahead and ordered basic Kaappi. It came with couple of cookies 🍪. Both coffee ☕ and cookie was delightful. Service was good.

The taste is very authentic.
The sambar was thick and spicy. The chutneys were tangy. Medu vadas and kaappi were nice.
We tried wheat dosas with tomato masala to experiment. It was tooo good.
Overall the bill came to 150rupees per person.
Will try their newly introduced lunch menu next time m at Kothrud in noon.
kaapi cafe is a great chill spot near mit college it haas a good menu and a very polite staff. food is also good i would recommend red sauce and kaapi special pasta here both of which are good. nachos, fries, chicken curry everything is fine.

Nachos with cheese - No they were not all worth Rs 180. The cheese sauce they served along with nachos tasted good but not worth the price. It also took a lot of time for them to serve.
Cheesy delight burger - Well this was definitely huge and stomach filling. Quantity was worth the cost but quality was average. It was more like Italian burger. Becomes messy wen u eat.
Pinacolada - This mock tail was amazing. But it was bit over priced. Presentation was nice. Service was also pretty fast.
Sandwich was okayish. Overall a bit over priced place. But nice to hang out as the ambience is pretty decent. Visit only when u have ample time as service is a bit slow.
Best place to hangout and malabar food is amazing, coffee is a must to be tried out. And lot of variety to choose in the menu. Worth waiting and authentic south Indian (keralian) dishes will be an amazing option to try out
A simple small cafe on Paud road with a South Indian touch. This place serves the authentic South Indian "kaapi". The seating is outdoor. A lot of variety is there in the menu right from breakfast items to lunch. Tried the Coffee and Barbeque Chicken Toast. The Coffee is served with Ginger flavoured Cookies which makes it even better especially on cold mornings. Toast was good too although would have loved more quantity of chicken in it. In my opinion, good food and good place. I would love to try lunch or dinner here.

This is a small cozy place on the paud road where you can crash with your friends and sip a cup of Kaappi while enjoying the roadside view. This place looks even more better at night with the soothing lights.

I have been to many cafes around kothrud, none of that matches the calmness I get in KAAPPI. Delightful ambience and the affable people!! Mostly I have visited here early morning, after a heavy night shift and it just really changed my course of mind.
