Prawns Thalassery biryani did not suit my liking, it may or may not be made as per traditional Kerala way, but just my personal opinion. The chicken potato curry was delicious! The chicken pieces were very soft.
The buff roast, mutton curry and buff curries are fantastic. Spicy, but true to Kerala flavour. Highly recommend. Portion sizes are for 1 person.
I was searching for Kerala food restaurant with more options and my search ended here.
Till now I have ordered many times from them for me and my friends, my favourite are there Biryanis, specially veg Thalassery biryani,chicken Thalassery biryani, chicken leg fry biryani, buff pepper masal curry, buff thattukada curry, coconut rice etc.
Hoping to visit them soon once everything goes normal
We normally never experiment with Indian food from the outside as we haven't had the best experiences, but I must say the food from Kerala cafe is simply delectable. We ordered a chicken 65 and prawns ghee roast and some paratas and it was lip smacking. I will most certainly be ordering from them again and food wise they have nailed it ! My only feedback however would be that the food being rather pricey, I would imagine that the quantity would be much more. The quantity is rather less. A special shout out to my lovely friend Pradeep who manages the restaurant and the lovely chef who made my food - Kamal. In terms of cooking I think Kamal is incredibly talented. Plus I'm a sucker for good food. ❤️

We were greeted very well by our server Picklu. We first order Kerala cocktail followed chicken platter. Loved the chicken ghee roast and pepper chicken in that same platter.
Also The red rice and Surmai Kerala curry was amazing.

Went to kerala cafe with couples of friends ...great food quality, the quantity seems quite huge for us...and we ordered veg meal comes with assortments of 12 - 14 dishes served on banana leaf and bangada curry was so balanced with spices which was upto the mark....throughly we loved did it.....🥰🥰🥰 staff are very courteous and helpful....pleasant ambience with kerala vibes....good place to hangout with your family ...would definitely come back.....

A very nice place for Kerala cuisine. The ambience gives an old real Kerala family home vibe. The seating is covered balconies with lots of greenery around. They have separate Smoking and Non-Smoking zones.
The food is delicious and reasonably priced. Not truly authentic Kerala style, but pretty close and definitely better than several options around. The service is pleasant and courteous. Overall, had a good time and good food.
Really nice place for having relaxed lunch or dinner. Very positive vibes from the place as well as from the staff. Music was very soothing.
Food was good definately try coconut chicken fry. Only thing is price was on upper side compare to the portion and quality. Cocktails were on point.

Great place to try most of authentic Kerala cuisines in it’s traditional form. A bit pricey as per the quantity. Also, Kerala has such a rich culture, they can make use if it to enhance the ambience and give a complete Kerala vibe. You must definitely give it a try if you’re a fan of Kerala cuisine.

We had ordered malvani chicken curry, 3 appam, 1 kerala parotta, tender coconut icecream, sulemani tea. Total bill was around Rs.800
All of them was good taste wise. However I Coconut icecream wasn't good enough as per price (Rs.250). Presentation wise really good but instead of plain vanilla icecream they could have used tender coconut flavour icecream.
Appam was really good. I wasn't expecting I would like malvani chicken at first but on contrary I really liked it, would recommend to try with appam. Forgot to take photos though.
Kerala Cafe in Pune gave me an amazing taste of Kerala! As a Maharashtrian, I felt transported to Kerala with their authentic flavors and warm ambiance. Loved every bit of it!

The manager was very nice to give us entry food for the price was over hyped, cold and lame service. Also the team was not ready to give the bill and then later when forced got one and took the payment on gpay of personal account somehow found this a lil weird.

I had heard so many reviews about this café. It is a home comforter place for all people coming from Kerala. I, too, wanted to visit this café since for a very long time and finally we went for dinner. It was such an amazing place like I had already heard about it. Let's check out the pros and cons of this place.
My experience
1. Amazing interior. It looks totally raw and yet very classy.
2. We ordered Kerala Parotta, vegetable stew, coconut vegetable curry, Papad, appam, etc. and all of them were amazing. The parotta was so soft it was directly melting in mouth.
3. The staff were nice.
4. The service was good.
5. Washrooms were clean and well kept.
6. The greenery was well maintained.
7. The upper sitting area was awesome. It felt like I was in some resort.
What i dont like
1. The place can be quite expensive for regular dinner but good for some occasions and special days.
It’s a sure recommendation for all my friends and family. I was mesmerized by the beauty of the café and I totally believe so will you.
The place has very Kerala vibes. The vegetarian thali is mini sadhya. We like to go there for a vegetarian meal. We have tried chicken, prawns and mushrooms which were spicy for us.
Authentic taste of Kerala. Valet parking and street parking is available. Alcohol is served at a separate smoking seating zone. The ambiance is good with open air seating. Price varies depending on what you order. Veg unlimited thali/meals is just Rs.120. Overall a good experience.
Super food, service and ambience. I tried their veg unlimited Kerela thali, reminded me of the sadya I had in Calicut.
The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and attentive service, and the food is excellent with authentic Kerala flavors. Additionally, the restaurant provides valet parking and a wheelchair accessible entrance. I particularly enjoyed the appam and Beef roast, and I highly recommend trying the fresh coconut ice cream, which is served with a refreshing glass of fresh coconut. It's worth noting that the restaurant doesn't provide any discounts or special offers.
Wow what a place!! Very nice ambience so earthy and asthetic. You will just feel like seating there for hours. The chairs are little bit uncomfortable could have been better. Service is quick and prompt.
Food is tasty. They have wide variety for both veg and non veg lovers. Must try- chicken stew, fish starters, appam and Malabar Paratha. Payasam was ok ok. Overall worth visiting.

Went there for dinner on Sunday evening. The place is located in the by lanes of Kalyani Nagar. it is decorated beautifully and gives a perfect Kerala vibes, though prices on the higher side, the quality of the food is very good. We ordered chicken drumsticks for starters. It was very spicy, my daughter could just take a bite. We were not informed that it'll be this spicy. We were caught by surprise. For mains we ordered malabar chicken curry with idiyappam and parotta. It was very good. Especially Kerala parotta that we ordered was very nice. For desserts we ordered semiya payasam and coconut and jaggery pudding. Payasam was not up to the mark and could have been better. The ambiance of the restaurant is extraordinary, however the service is extremely disorganised, every time we had to call someone for the order, staff can't speak even basic Marathi forget even Malayalam, they can only speak Hindi, which is shocking. For a fine dining restaurant they should have someone who can communicate in English. A non Hindi speaker will be at a great disadvantage to this. And finally, I hope that they will add kothu paratha to their menu I was rather surprised that as an authentic Kerala restaurant, they did not have that.
