I have been visiting this restaurant since its inception in 2018. I'm a stickler for south Indian food and i am very picky when it comes to it. Dosa Story has never failed to deliver utter brilliance time and time again for 2 years straight! The excellent staff, Irfan, Wahid, Sameer, Asif, and Showkat are the backbone behind their brilliant service. Sure it gets crowded on Sundays and delivery might be late but it does speak about the quality of food and service! Kudos to the team! Keep it up guys!
Dosa Stori is a very nice place for good South Indian food.. they dosas are very different in taste and they are light. They serve 3 types of chutney. Each chutney has a unique taste. The pizza is yummy too... the rates are quite affordable too. Nice cozy place with some good music... I had a very good time at dosa stori 😍😍😍😊😊
I went there with my mom today and visiting this place since 3 months the place remains the same with all that positive vibes my mom liked the food so much trust me it's a task to please her with the food and for me its like order anything on the menu but my favourite remains there unique dosa pizza and ofcourse filter coffee and not to mention there sweet staff been hard core non vegetarian this pure veg place is the only on my goto list....

Its a nice and cozy place. We went for breakfast. The staff is courteous. We ordered Filter Coffee, Ragi Dosa and Cheese Masala Dosa.
The best thing was the coffee as it was served in Brass glass. It was unexpected as filter coffee is usually served in Steel glass only. Loved it.
Both the Dosas were really good and the chutneys too. The pricing is also good. Worth visiting again.

The place is cozy and fresh but the only thing isbthey serve limited chutney and sambaar initially which one has ask for refill again and again ...this becomes awkward after some time. Place is pocket friendly and Bombay dosa is amazing
Saw this cafe while passing and I loved the view from outside. The interiors are pretty good, well themed, mirrors on the wall and painted blue with all those frames.

Dosa like never before!! visited this place for the first time and right after having the first bite, I decided to give it 5 stars. It deserves more than that. This place serves dosa so tasty you will get addicted to it. Incase you are thinking that this is just a dosa place, it's not. They have great menu with lot of other varieties. Idly, vada, garlic bread, pizza, sandwiches and simple food like bun muska as well. Pachi karam dosa is superb and pizza dosa is a great combination of South Indian dosa base with Italian toppings. Filter coffee is soul warming. And I have not even come to the best part yet...... It's the prices. This place is super light on your pocket. You will love it.
We visited the place for casual dining. We are lucky that we started early as people have been waiting for getting in as evening progressed even in weekdays. :)
The food is really delicious. We have tried their pizzas and garlic breads. We can't stop ordering twice as they are too yummy. We have also tried their dosas which are really unique.

Love this cute place in viman nagar. Probably the best place for some south indian food . The dosas are really yummy here and the costs are also bey convinient. However the quantity is less but as per the price its fine.

This small place is full of wonders. As per name it serves lots of types of Dosas and they all are yum, specially Mumbai and Upma dosa. They also serve Pizzas, mocktails and desserts and everything at very reasonable price. The staff is also very polite. Now it's our fav casual dining place....
Awesome Food quality, Ambience and Prompt service, Nice and soft music. It ticked almost all the check boxes for me as a food lover. Specially loved the Erra karam Dosa, Loved it and ordered it twice. I could have given almost 5 stars just holding back for some scope for improvement. Only one suggestion I have to the restaurant, Please make the chairs a bit comfy with some cushion on it.

Loved the calm music playing while you are waiting for your order to come on table. Wall is full of nice paintings which make you to go through each phrases and quotes print on it. Dosas here are authentic. Food and taste was best at the same time.

We visited Dosa Stori on 26th July for dinner. Even though it was raining heavily, the place was packed. Most of the guests were busy eating while a 4 year old (accompanied by decent number of adults including grandparents) was making sure that she is free to shout/jump as if this place was also the living room of her house. Not sure when will "we" teach our kids to behave as it is not their fault at all. I am sure she can pronounce "Czechoslovakia", coz speaking in English is top priority these days rather than behaving human! 😢
So once we settled, we noticed that the decor is subtle and soothing to eyes. They have indoor and outdoor seating and for monsoon, they also have a table outside to keep your umbrellas.
After browsing the menu, we ordered the following:
1. Masala Dosa: For the first time, I could eat dosa with a fork-n-spoon. The dosa was soft and the masala was delicious. The sambar was the best that I ever had at a South Indian joint. The coconut and sheng-daaney chatni was also yummy. A must try! 👌
2. Little Idly: Tiny little idly's served with chatni's and sambhar. The idly's were baby soft and very delicious. It is a good option to start off your meals.
3. Tawa Masala Idly: The same set of tiny idly's but this time they were showered with a chutney which was mildly spicy and added a lot of flavour. Not bad to try!
4. Pessarattu: I did not eat this but those who had it informed me that it wasn't bad either.
5. Mixed Veg Uttapam: Again, I did not eat this but the feedback was that it was soft and had generous amount of veggies added.
Service was not that slow as Anil was quick to deliver everything on time as per the sequence that we had requested for. Thanks to Anil for his quick service and that too, with a smile. My only suggestion would be that they can just be proactive to check if the table has a water bottle and tissues in place as soon as the guests leave. Other than that, everything was bang on!

Value For Money: 6/5. (The only place in Viman Nagar which is serving food at pocket friendly prices while maintaining the quality as well as a decent portion side.)

What I liked: The ambience is nice. The food is good and wallet-friendly. The staff is courteous.
What I didn't like : There was fly menace inside the premises. They need to install fly-kill lamps/machines ASAP, esp near the glass entrance as the flies congregate there. Also, the food is somewhat lacking in authentic South Indian taste, but that is not a major issue, not for me at least.
Good place for a lazy weekend breakfast. The delivery could be quicker but the food is excellent. Found good Erra Karam dosa in Pune after a long long time.

Dosa Stori is a small, pretty, vibrant cafe in Viman Agar which serves the best varieties of not only the typical south Indian cuisine but also yum finger food. There dosas and iddlis are delicious, their drink amazingly refreshing and their stuffed garlic bread is something to die for. Talking of the their desserts, one of the best around the corner. I was completely amazed by everything at this place.. to start with the place is sparkling clean with spotless utensils..the ambience is refreshing and uplifting..the food tastes absolutely brilliant..they don't cut down on anything..and the service is decent.. a must visit for every one who loves south Indian food..and filter coffee here needs a special mention. Kudos to the team.

- We tried Little Idlis with Podi chutney and sambar. Idlis were super soft and chutneys as well as sambar were delicious.
- Then we tried Dosa Pizza. It was innovative, however I felt that normal south Indian dish would have been more tastier.
- Lemon rice was also tasty. We asked for extra sambar & staff was happy to give it.
- Best thing is that the food appears home cooked. Just perfect and pocket friendly !!

Was searching for soft idlis and non sweet sambar for a long long time... Not only found a perfect neat n clean place but awesome quality with yummy pricing. Happened to just drop by and was not expecting the sweet combo of quality, price and hygiene at the same place. This is going to be my fav place!

Dosa stori is a pocket friendly place in Viman nagar with a simple and decent ambiance. The place serves south Indian food with some unique flavours, the quality and quantity both are decent if compared to price. The place has a variety of menu and gives lot of options to choose which is rare in south indian food and this what makes this place different and unique. This place is a star deal with good ambiance, pocket friendly prices and good food.
The food items which i tried here:
1) Mumbai masala dosa : This was crispy dosa with veggies and potato served with sambhar which had a thick consistency and coconut chutney, the dosa had slight spicy flavour because of the masala and came good with the sambhar.
2) Tawa masala idli : This was idli tossed in a slight spicy masala and glazed with clarified butter, served with sambhar and coconut chutney, the idli was soft and fluffy and had a good moisture on it, a must have.
3) Idli : This was simple idli glazed with clarified butter, the idli was soft and fluffy it had a good moisture on it and the sambhar which was served was too good with a thick consistency, the idli the sambhar together gave a nice flavour on palate and even the coconut chutney was served which was again too flavourful
This is s place which is quite famous for some fusion dosa and so we went there to try it out. Even in a tuesday evening there was a waiting for the table here. This place is not too big with some 7-8 tables inside and some 2-3 outside. The ambiance is great and the walls are filled with some nice paintings. We tried their signature dosa, Upma dosa, upma spread well inside the dosa. Prachi Karam Dosa was also delicious. Masala dosa was also good. Their speciality is that they spread the filling evenly in the inside part of the dosa and the cuuttneys are also great. The only problem is with the sambar, it didnt taste like one. For true dessert we had sizzling brownie with ice cream, well prepared. Overall its a great place which is very pocket friendly, but the staff need to be a bit more prompt.
We were here on a Saturday evening and had to wait for good 15 mins to get a table. We thought if its worth to wait but that was answered as we were getting out after our meal. Hell yes:)

I have been wanting to go to Dosa Stori for a long time and finally convinced my husband one day.
Let me tell you audience, you will not be disappointed. The small and simple outlet from outside is another world inside. With a bit of european and santorini touch, the interiors are well designed, making a small area look spacious and airy.
We ordered the recommended Erra Karam Dosa, Lemon rice and lemon ice tea. The dosa was amazing, with a paste made from caramelised onions and red paprika. It was light and the sides complimented the taste well.
Lemon rice was soo refreshing and light, that I ate an entire plate. I am not much of a rice eater, but couldn’t help this time. One suggestion I would give is the use of urad dal in the rice, which can be held back a little. Some if the pieces were hard to eat in between.
The ice was also very good, less sweet, fresh lemony. And moreover, the Prices are super pocket friendly. I love this place and can’t wait to visit again.

Dosa Stori is a delightful place. Bright ambience with innovative and authentic range of Dosas and Idlies. They not only serve good South Indian dishes with a twist but also offer amazing range of Pizzas. The price is just apt for what you get delivered. The food is fresh though the service is slow. As the name suggests, they have some nice variety of Dosa. Other options on the menu are also good. Chocolate Brownie was definitely good. Coffee was also great.

One of the best place in pune to experience the true flavor of dosa. It's quite a small place with both indoor and outdoor sitting options. The interior is well lit and ambiance is quite great with mirrors and exotic fans present. They make some awesome fusion of dosa. Upma dosa was just perfect with Upma spread evenly through the inside surface of the dosa and tasted just delicious. Pune special dosa had mix veg evenly spread within the dosa which makes it just too delicious. Their strawberry milk shake was also great but a bit too sweet. They also serves pizza but would suggest try the dosa first. This place is also very moderately priced and have some friendly service. Try their coconut chutney, too yummy. Overall a must visit place for dosa lovers.

Loved this placed totally, great variety of unique flavored dosa. Perfectly made sambhar and chutney. Just the perfect combination of ingredients in all dishes. We tried Mumbai dosa, which is much recommended. Also tried devilish cream cold coffee, it was too good.

Dosa stories looks more like a Greek themed cafe with its white n blue interiors.. but actually major section of d menu is south indian food.. along with that u also get pizza, mocktails, frappes,coffee, tea, etc..

However... the dosa felt a little experimental. Never had pea nut chutney with dosa previously.
If you have ever by chance tried Bangalore Dosa or Idli then you will always crave for same taste in Pune . It's very hard i know. But this place offer you a parallel experience as proper south indian dosa . They have varities of Dosas like Pizza dosa , you must try that one . On the pocket side I feel when your satisfyingly happy your ready to pay any price .But surprise !! This is quite affordable compared to lots of other Restaurants . Great food. Easy on pocket. My friends with more experience on South Indian cuisine tell me this is as authentic as it gets. The ambience too is pretty upmarket. Just, their service takes forever to serve you.

After a fun filled Saturday at Phoenix mall, we decided to hunt for a new place in Viman Nagar. We were already stuffed and decided to go for a light dinner. Dosa Stori seemed like a good option expecting many Dosa varieties with innovation.
Ambience: 9/10
The interiors are quite refreshing and rather upscale for a South Indian eating joint, considering the prices of various items.
Menu:
We did not find many innovations around Dosa varieties but routine varieties, barring chocolate/Nutella Dosa. Surprisingly, the menu also contained variety of mocktails, bakery items which was very much unlike a South Indian joint.
Chocolate Dosa 8/10:
The Dosa and chocolate stuffing inside it was crisp. On top, it chocolate sauce was generously spread. It was delicious, my kid loved it.
Era Karam Dosa 7/10:
Dosa with red chutney spread inside, it was good. But it contained too much oil on the outer side (much higher than normal dosas) which was a turn off. The sambar was good, chutnies tasted okay. The amount of chutnies served were very less.
Pesaratu Dosa (6/10):
Dosa prepared from mung dal and highlighted as healthy Dosa in the menu. We has specifically asked to ensure less oil but this one had even more of it. Doesn't go well with health conscious people. It had nice stuffing containing onion tomatoes stuffing inside and tasted good though.
Filter Coffee (8/10):
We expected that the filter coffee will be served in a dabara topper up with some nice foam of milk. But it was served in a cup with no milk foam which was slight turn off. Though the coffee tasted nice and the quantity of coffee was good.
Overall it's a good place and if you are around this side of town, you can definitely visit for a quick bite and very lite on your pocket too.
Want to taste something new try here it's amazing . specially I like to eat Bombay dosa and the lovely mocktail . Hope u too like and enjoy it.
