Very good place for snacks. I prefer this for Dahi jalebi and Jalebi time for small office party. They will provide with very good packing. Juices are also available
Whenever i visit magarpetta city i make sure i visit this place for poha and dhokla . Small plate costing 20/- each provides the best dhokla ever. They also provide good jhalebi too.. serving is fast. So guys if you are feeling hungry and need to crave food in low budget plz visit this stall..ambience its a open stall..
Awesome Food Taste ,Value for money ...Being a Fan of this restaurant .Loved to order again..Food perfectly fine ,Food portion also up to the mark
The poha is the best and it is so yummmmmuyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. Well i could et like 2-3 of them at a time. It's dammnn. Good!!♥️
Please improve the taste of Sambhar.
For last 6 yrs having break fast from here in regular interval. Vada pao n samosa is good for test! Medu Vada is not tht good. Overall a good cheap breakfast joint at magarpatta
I am not sure about the food quality at this place and the oil they use to cook their food but samosas, jalebis, vada sambar, Poha everything tastes really nice!
My friend and I often visit this place for breakfast as DC is the nearest place for Magarpatta folks to have breakfast and it never disappoints us..
They even deliver inside Magarpatta and it is one of the go to places for us for some quick snacks..
Ambiance and all is something that doesn't come into picture at most of the places in dc. :)
This is my breakfast place. It's been almost two weeks and has kinda become a ritual for me. Get up , get ready and have breakfast here.
Ambience:
It's a tiny shop. No sitting. You have to stand and eat. They have put these big king size umbrellas. So you can avoid the sun and rain.
Rating - 1.5/5
Food:
I have tried almost every savoury snack here. The poha, patties, Kachoris, samosa, sabudana khichdi.
Everything is awesome. The best part is the value for money. You can enjoy a hearty meal for under 60 INR.
Like I mentioned above that having breakfast here has almost become a ritual for me. I have the poha with coconut chutney. Sometimes the kachori or the patty.
Rating - 4.5/5
Service:
It's been good up till now. I have also had stuff delivered online. That was also super quick but then DC is adjacent to my society.
Rating - 4/5
Overall rating - 3.33/5
The appeal : pocket friendly food (poha, Kachoris)
Personal suggestions :
I hope you make an extra effort to keep the area infront of the shop clean and tidy.
Verdict : worth a try.
This is our go to place for breakfast just before going to the office in Magarpatta. They serve quite good masala dosa, idli sambhar. A decent place to have quick south Indian breakfast which is not only value for money but also balanced in taste. They have a huge menu of south Indian breakfast and lunch. The downside is the you have to eat while standing since it is just a small shop in DC.
The goto place for the early morning breakfast or curbing your junkie eating radar.
Located in the back alleys of Destination Center - you would find devious amount of crowd here. They have the kitchen inside the shop, where you spot the samosas, kachoris, gulab jamuns, poha, wada pav, jalebis being freshly made and served to the customers.
8:10am—Precious few minutes left before a morning meeting in Magarpatta City. Entire stretch of Hadapsar Road combed already in trying to find a breakfast shop.
8:12am—Finally decide to check out Destination Centre. Berate self why that didn’t strike earlier.
8:15am—Park vehicle and rush inside the shopping complex.
8:16am—See a few people sitting around in the middle area, tucking into grub that looks good. Should I ask them where they bought the same or should I just look around and locate a breakfast serving outlet myself? Am dithering – damn! This is no time for indecision!
8:17am—Most people looking like zoned out ITES staff. Not wise to engage with such kinds. Instead, classier to run crazily in the alleys of DC trying to locate food.
8:19am—Yay! BALAJI SNACKS! Freshly made desi breakfast items in direct line of vision now. Encouragingly, it’s also the shop with the most office goers in front.
8:20am—Eeesshh too many options! Should I order a fresh DOSA? No, no, no – there is no time. Choose quickly you idiot! Pick that calm looking POHA (₹20). Achha ok, also a plate of tempting JALEBIS (₹20). Must work on self-control from tomorrow.
8:21am—Feeling elated with self for this Indore-styled breakfast choice. Don’t forget to click.
8:22am—Fumbling with handbag, phones and plates of food. Taking pity, kind Anna says to relax, eat now and pay later. So sweet of him!
8:23am—Pay up somehow. Run, run back to the parked car.
8:24am—Put AC & music on and begin wolfing down lovely fresh hot brekky.
8:26am—Mmmm nice crunch to each mouthful. Notice that POHA is speckled with boondi, whole fennel & coriander apart from mustard seeds. No wonder it’s more flavorful than the usual. Have they used no oil in this? So light, so fluffy!
8:27am—Wow! JALEBI is excellent! Crisp yet juicy. And well browned. And soaked in perfectly sweet chashni. Yummm! Good choice girl. Always give in!
8:29am—Fish out wet wipes, clean up, re-apply lipstick.
8:30am—Drive off (paying Rs 10 as parking fee), re-educated on why poha-jalebi is such a swell evergreen combination.
Food is good and cheap. You will find it busy no matter what time you plan to visit. Finding a place to sit and eat is bit difficult. It’s for grab, eat and go.
As I am from indore so I would recommend this place.
One of the best places to have Poha Jalebi.
But Jeeravan is missing from Poha.
Kachori and samosa is ok ok. But not like Indori kchori samosa.
Khamand was also good.
Overall great experience.
We tried the Indori Poha and it was sumptuous.
My report card:
Taste: 4/5,
Service: 4/5,
Ambiance: 3/5,
Cleanliness: 3/5,
Value for money: 4/5
Balaji snacks centre is good location for having snacks like Poha, samosa, kachori and one of the best fresh jalebi's in area. Liked the taste and are promoting eco friendly options of paper scoop spoons and leaf drones supporting control over water wastage.
It was a rainy evening and I was having a urge to have a cup of tea. I parked my two wheeler and this shop is just beside the two wheeler parking lot of Destination Centre,Magarpatta City. One person was selling hot ginger tea beside Balaji Snacks. Later I realized that it is a part of that shop. The taste was good and here tea is served both in glass and paper cup. If you want to have hot ginger tea with light snacks, then this is the place for you.
Balaji Snacks is very famous shop at DC, good for those who dont want to cook for breakfast. You can get variety of food options here like poha, samosa chat, idli sambhar, chai, vada etc. You can find too much crowd in morning,it opens around 6:30am. Prices are also reasonable. I recently ordered poha and matka chai just in 45₹ without any extra delivery charges
I was not a fan of poha until I had it here, I totally loved it. This place is pretty crowded during morning and evening times and they serve decent food
Situated in destination center of Magarpatta city, Pune. I have tried Poha so far and it is tasty as well as healthy. I recommend it to everyone to have quick snacks and it is quite reasonable.
We have to pay 10 rs parking charges in destination center every time we park our 2 wheeler, that's the only drawback I can see.
Delicious Medu Wada as well as Idli.
Cozy Place to Visit during Office hours for Evening Snacks as well as Breakfast
Tasty food with environmental friendly plates and spoons.
I liked the custom cardboard spoons
