Recently visited mainland china after the new menu launch and the veg dumplings were probably the best I've had ever. The lotus leaf wrapped rice was very flavourful along with the beans and crispy fried water chestnut. Overall a really nice experience and ended up the meal with litchi Icecream which was yum.

The subtle blending of spices, the toss of the wok or the tempering of the sauces, Chinese food has made it to the list of every tastebud's favorite things to eat. And, I remember since my first visit to Golden Dragon on my Day 1 in Pune, my love and taste for Chinese Cuisine has seen a humongous growth. And while moving from forks to chopsticks, my transition story is wildly affected by a name that is none other than Mainland China. From Birthdays to Anniversaries, me and my friends would always find an excuse to go to Mainland China. And While It's been a long time since I had been there last, An invite for a blogger's table at Mainland China worked out just about fine for me as yet another excuse.

This outlet at Amanora Mall is quite the first outlet that comes to mind, because of it's convenient location. And, If that's not enough, the overwhelming ambiance and beautiful decor is more than welcoming. Also, while all of these things are surely something worth talking about, let's quickly dive into the list of some of the amazing dishes that I got to try my hands on, because why not:-

SOUPS (NON-VEGETARIAN):-

Lung Fung Soup (Chicken) (275 INR):- While my love for soups are limited, This Ginger and Coriander flavoured thick soup with Eggwhite had enough quantity of chicken in it, that got me asking for more.

DIMSUMS (VEGETARIAN):-

Steamed Vegetable Dumplings Sichuan Style (305/375 INR):- These minced Vegetable Dumplings steamed & poached in a spicy sichuan broth and flvoured with sichuan pepper is everything spicy you were looking in a dimsum before, and are just mouthwatering and totally something to die for.

APPETIZERS (VEGETARIAN):-

Stir Fried Water Chestnuts Hunan Style (415/495 INR):- Coming from North India, Water Chestnuts was a major part of my childhood, we'd look for it everytime we'd go to our Grandma's. But, Those raw water chestnuts were everything we knew about, until these crunchy water chestnuts fried with soy and chilies at Mainland China changed everything I knew about what water chestnuts should taste like.

Stir Fried Vegetables with Five Spice (415/490 INR):- These were the seasonal vegetables stir fried with Garlic, Soy and Aromatic Five Spice.

APPETIZERS (FISH):-

Pan Fried Barbecued Fish (515/595 INR):- Like I've said before, During this phase where I'm still understanding and discovering my love for fish, there has been only a few times when something has stuck with me. And, This delicious preparation of Pan Seared Fish in a Cumin Flavoured Barbeque Sauce is surely one of those.

APPETIZERS (SEAFOOD):-

Malaysian Curried Prawns (515/595 INR):- Hands down this is the best from the lot we are talking about. And, While I stop myself to write another page about my love for Prawns, the easiest way to describe how I think about this Stir Fried Curry Flavoured Prawns with Oriental Spices is that I still sometimes dream about eating a tub full of this in a large palace of my own with a great internet speed and 100k following on instagraaaaa.... lol jk, but trust me you really don't wanna miss this.

APPETIZERS (POULTRY-CHICKEN):-

Pickled Coriander Chicken (485/555 INR):- This preparation of Stir Fried Chicken with Pickled Coriander, Garlic and Chilies is a whole another take on every chicken appetizer I've ever had.

MAINS (VEGETARIAN):-

Stir Fried Vegetables & Cottage Cheese with Roasted Garlic (485/555 INR):- This was a perfect combination of Babycorn, Broccoli, Asparagus, Water Chestnuts, Fresh Mushrooms, Cottage Cheese, and Greens tossed with Roasted Garlic and Tobanjan Sauce.

Okra, Corn & Potato in Chilli Black Bean Sauce (445/505 INR):- This was another drool-worthy combination of Fresh Okra, Corn Kernels, and Potato Cubes tossed with Fresh Chillies and Black Beans.

MAINS (SIDES - VEGETARIAN):-

Stir Fried Haricot Beans with Dry Red Chillies & Sesame (325 INR):- Now I'm not gonna sit here and pretend that I've suddenly started to like Beans and all, but this preparation of Stir Fried Haricot Beans tossed with Dry Red Chillies and Sesame was worth trying and if you are one of those who do like beans, then I know for sure that you're not gonna wanna miss on this.

MAINS (SEAFOOD):-

Cantonese Soy Steamed Fish (825/1150 INR):- Bhetki Fillet Marinated, Steamed and Topped with Flavourful Soya - This is clearly one of those reasons why they say MAINLAND CHINA IS WORTH ALL THE TALKING.

MAINS (POULTRY - CHICKEN):-

Double Spicy Chengdu Chicken (485/550 INR):- Well, The name just gave it all away. If you love spicy food, then this spicy preparation of Chicken Tossed in a hot chilli sauce flavoured with Sichuan Pepper is gonna become your go-to-order at Mainland China. Why? Because it has become mine, I'm very convinced to order this on my next visit. #SPICYFOODISTHEBESTFOOD lol.

RICE (VEGETARIAN):-

Lotus Leaf Wrapped Rice with Corn Kernels & Almonds (375 INR):- This got us all talking right when a fancy dish was brought in a bamboo container which was all wrapped in a lotus leaf. If that didn't say enough why it was no ordinary rice, maybe you will have to try yourself this flavourful rice tossed with all the corn kernels and almonds in it.

NOODLES (VEGETARIAN):-

Singapore Style Fried Noodles with Beansprouts (355/425 INR):- This was a great preparation of wok tossed noodles and Beansprouts with Dark Soya.

DESSERTS:-

Mango Pudding:- From the soft textures to the perfect flavours, Mainland China is game with their Mango Pudding.

Coconut Caramel Custard:- Caramel Custard is my feel good dessert option, and the flavours of coconut along with the usual ones of a caramel custard just made me feel a whole lot better than good. Wait, What's better than Good again?!

Rambutan with Icecream:- I am not really able to piece all my words together to tell you how I feel about this, but It has to be the best words you or I know - surely because this heavenly delicious combination of Rambutan and Vanilla Icecream has my heart and this is the best dessert I've ever had at Mainland China.

Mainland China is a blessing in disguise for all Chinese Food lovers - some good Chinese food ideas begin and end at MLC. And, The great food under a roof with a magnificent ambiance combines for a place that is good for a date, a corporate party, or even a family meal. And to sum it all up in one line - Mainland China has always got your back with delicious food, a pleasing ambiance and a overwhelming service.

As the Tagline reads "If it's Chinese, its Mainland China", so does it work in my head too. If I am craving Chinese food, Mainland China has to be the first restaurant in my mind.
This restaurant has been my favourite since the first time I dined here. The authentic menu at Mainland China is where I set my standards for the best Chinese cuisine ever. From the Soups to Dimsums to main course to Desserts, nothing beats the taste and quality of dishes served here.
I was extremely fortunate to be one of the few, who were able to dig into the new menu and new cuisine introduced here and share with you my first hand experience. So here comes a peek at what new dishes are added to the menu, what I tried and how I liked it. Let's go :

Soup.
Lung Fung Soup : Light and Clear, this soup is just right to start your meal with. The egg froth and right quantity of chicken added here makes it just perfect beginning for whats coming next.

Dimsums.
Steamed Vegetables Sichuan Style Dumplings : Perfect Steamed and mildly spiced vegetables wrapped into the most delicious dumplings I have ever tasted. I have heard most of the people say that vegetarian dumplings are never so scrumptious. I bet this particular one is going to prove them all wrong.

Pan Fried Japanese Mushroom and Chicken Dumplings : And yet for all the fans of Chicken Dumplings, there is no disappointing you. Ground Chicken mixed with Mushrooms, lightly flavoured and perfectly spiced. Totally savoury.

Appetizers.
Stir fried Water Chestnut (Hunan Style) : Want to try something different, then order this one. Fried in Hunan style these Water Chestnuts are super juicy and yet amazingly crunchy.

Pan Fried Barbecue Fish : Though the general idea of a barbecue sauce in western cuisine is somewhat sweet and tangy, it may surprise you that its totally different in an Asian cuisine. It is quiet spicy and adds an awesome flavour to this pan Fried Fish Appetizer.

Pickled Coriander Chicken : As the name suggests, this dish is tangy and yet the coriander also add a kind of fresh flavour to it. Quite contradictory yes, but that's where the genuise style of this dish shows.

Malaysian Curried Prawns : This particular has has been my favourite appetizer of all the ones I have tried here. Especially being a major fan of Prawns and as well as Malaysian cuisine, this dish stole my heart. Highly recommended. The spices are perfectly blended making this curry on prawns extremely delicious.

Mains.
Okra, Corn and Potato in Chilli Black Bean Sauce : Generally not being a huge fan of Okra I was hesitant to try it. But to my surprise it was the best Okra dish I tried till date. Would recommend for vegetarians as these vegetables cooked in Chilli Black Bean Sauce would blend really well with fried rice and other not highly flavoured rice options.

Cantonese Soy Steamed Fish : This new Fish Main is a good go to option for seafood lovers. The fish is soft and juicy, correctly blended in Soy sauce with a hint of tang and spice.

Double Spicy Chengdu Chicken : For the ones who need that spicy kick in food, this dish is for you. Just like the name it really is double the amount of spice but dont worry you will manage it and want more of it because it's just that good.

Sides : To cut out the spice, I would suggest you also get a side of Stir Fried Haricot Beans, that would perfectly complement most of the Main dishes.

Rice/Noodles
Lotus Leaf Wrapped Rice with Corn Kernels and Almonds : This new introduction in the menu comes in a beautiful presentation of a weaved wooden box and nicely wrapped in a Lotus Leaf. Tossed together with Corn and Almonds and not strongly flavoured, this rice is great to try with your Main dishes.

Singapore Style Fried Noodles with Beansprouts : These fried noodles have a wonderful spicy flavour and can be had without adding any other sauces. For the ones who need it more hot can club it with chilli or soy sauce without losing its flavour.

@mainlandchinaindia just curated an insanely sumptuous menu and every dish was prepared with such attention to detail that one couldn't help but overeat. Yeah I did skip my dinner 🙈😁 .
What I definitely recommend:

* Steamed Vegetables Dumplings Sichuan Style: These were just melt in the mouth kinda feeling. * Pan fried Japanese Mushroom & Chicken Dumplings: I definitely enjoyed the unique combo, coz am not a big fan of chicken otherwise. * Stir fried vegetables with Five Spice: Eat your Veggies, I enjoyed the flavours also the choice of vegetables was just perfect. * Malaysian curried Prawns: I love Prawns but am so used to butter garlic ones, these were a delight to try. The flavours were yummy.
The other dishes were also great, but I was happily satiated by then. So go visit guys and thank me later!

We went to Mainland China for dinner. The place is a fine dine with ample seating. We were greeted and were comfortably seated.

We ordered Chilli Chicken, Prawn Dumplings, Prawn Fried Rice along with veg manchurian.

In desserts, Chocolate dome and Rambutan with ice cream is amazing.

Loved the food and the service.

One of the must visit places in Pune if you are an authentic Chinese food lover. Trust me you will simply relish the taste of Chinese food of this place.
In short few things I will recommend everyone to try in non veg
1. Drums of Heaven Hong Kong Style
2. King Prawns Hunan style (simply yummy)
3. Cantonese rice noodles Prawn (this comes with white sauce with thin noodles. I loved it)

Enjoy the food of this place :)
Please note i didn't try in buffet. I tried in a la carte.

I have been to this place on Friday eve and was welcomed by their very kind staff. It is located in Amanora Mall and is easily reachable. This place has very good vibes and can refresh your mood regardless of how much tired you are.
They have amazing cocktails and mocktails, a few of them I can recommend is Watermelon Caprioska with Ketel One, Tequila Sunrise and Lychee Basil Quencher (😍).
Moving to starters, They have sea food and wine festival going on and I am vegetarian I wasn’t disappointed with Veg food. They have array of options in veg too starting from Smoked chilli cottage cheese, Corn cheese rolls (😎) & Drum of heaven hong kong style. Then in Main Course we had Japanese Wheat Noodles and Exotic Vegetables in Chilli Basil in a Clay Pot.
Last but not the least, Desserts - Rambutan with Ice Cream (🔥 ) - This dessert took my heart & it is the best dessert I had at this place. I had others too including Chocolate Dome but Rambutan is Love.

This place is amazing and has courteous staff, I recommend this place as must visit place in Amanora. You can enjoy food and drinks with your partners, families, friends and off course with your better half.

we tried a number of dishes here, but some of my absolute favorites were -

Being a food lover, I always want to try new places, new cuisines and new innovations and believe me Mainland China got it all covered under the roof.

So it's an authentic Oriental cuisine chain of restaurants spread across the world and they don't meddle with the quality of food that's what I gathered when I visited this outlet in Amanora.

Obviously there are few ups and downs but the taste always hits the right spot.

We tried a variety of dishes and few mocktails and cocktails which were thirst quenching.

The starters were upto the standards and the portioning was good according to the pricing.

Chicken Tai pai
Smoked chilli cottage cheese .
Grilled fish cake with coconut and lime
Drums of heaven hong kong style
Edamame dumpling in truffle oil
Corn cheese roll
Crispy fried crab claw with sambal salsa

My personal favorite; drums of heaven and Fried crab claw

Even the main course was very nice and we tried some of their speciality

Japnese wheat noodles
Mix meat rice ( Chicken, Prawns and Mutton )
Exotic veg in chili basil in a clay pot
Braised chicken in smoked chilli sauce

The Mix meat rice was yummy and the chicken was tender and juicy.

Coming to the desserts, we tried so many new things like

Rambutan with Ice cream which is basically a Thai litchi with ice cream and it felt so soothing to eat

Mango pudding, again a nice dish with the flavors of mint in it. The taste of mint should not overpower the mango flavor. The texture was amazing

Chocolate Dome the all time favorite. So beautiful and pretty to look at. Only thing that can be done is the dome should not be thick as we experienced otherwise the taste was amazing. So delicious.

Despite these minute flaws, the meal was satisfying and gave an opportunity to visit MLC Amonora again.

I visited this restaurant on the weekday for lunch with my teammates. Simply, the starters are very nice. Especially, the fish starter. and chicken lollypops too. 1 point was reduced for the little delay in the service as well as for less menu for the main course. remaining all were superb.

I have been to several Mainland China outlets, and I have liked the experience. Yesterday we went to Mainland China in Amanora. We were greeted warmly. We started with eight treasures sweet corn soup. It was great and the bits of almond made the soup even more enjoyable. Pan fried chilli fish and fish cakes followed next. Fish cake with lime and coconut flavor was different, but we liked the chilli fish more.
For the main course we ordered, fish with orange and black beans alongwith good old Haka noodles. The dish with fish and tangy orange was delightful. Fish and orange was a unique but winning combination. We wanted to try more from their seafood festival menu, as there were tempting crab, lobster and pomphret dishes, but we were quite full. We finished the lovely and wholesome dinner with honey noodles and ice-cream

Now a days people are divided into two chinese styles i.e. Street style VS Authentic chinese style. Ofcourse there are many people who are still confused in between authentic and street style chinese. Authentic chinese is the one which is presented in original or genuine form of Chinese.
Talking about an authentic chinese style then I'll blindly suggest you the only restaurant i.e. MAINLAND CHINA. Let's go to China...!
They have buffet as well as Al a carte menu.They have their lunch buffet from Monday to Friday which consists almost 4-6 starters, 7-8 mains, 2 soups and 8-9 desserts that also in pocket friendly price. For Sat and Sunday they have more menu.
Talking about their menu then it have a large variety which is enough to make you confused while ordering the food. I'll specially like to mention about the manager "Ujwal sir" who guided me perfectly for choosing the best dish according to my taste. He amazingly explained the dishes and it helped me lot to choose the best dish for me.
In starters I ordered Chicken with assorted pepper, Pan fried Asian chilli fish and Prawns hargao(dumplings).
In chicken with assorted pepper the chicken was perfectly marinated with the pepper and other spices which was a blast of flavour in the mouth. Pan fried Asian chilli fish was delicious, fish was fresh. Talking about dumplings then yummm... The outer skin was translucent and perfectly steamed. The sides soy, vinegar and spices were glowing the taste of the prawn hargao. Prawns were fresh. The starters were pleasant and satisfying.
In the mains Ujwal sir suggested me Japanese noodles and Braised chicken in smoked chilli sauce. Talking about Japanese noodles then they were made of wheat which is a plus point for a great taste. Noodles were perfectly fried with veggies and ginger garlic piece which was enhancing the flavour of the noodles. As they are moist hence you can also have it without any extra gravy. Since I had Braised chicken in smoked chilli sauce as gravy, I mixed it with Japanese noodles. Mmmm... the combination was just deliciously amazing.
At last the most likely part came i.e. dessert. I ordered a well-known and very famous dessert of Mainland China i.e. Rambutan with Ice-cream. The Rambutan's botanical name is Nephelium Lappaceum. Rambutan is very similar to Lychee but rich in creaminess and taste. The presentation of this dessert were unique as it was presented in a beaker containing dry ice in it, hence results into a magical fumes around the dessert. The combination of vanilla ice cream with Rambutan pieces is heavenly delicious. Creaminess of Rambutan and vanilla ice cream Awesome blended together in mouth which gives you an exquisite taste.
Talking about their service and hospitality then it's awesome. Everyone knows everything about their menu hence no any complaints about it. Just a little bit issue i.e. the costing of menu items, it seems to be little bit overpriced that's it nothing else.

Visit Mainland China for some exotic seafood fest. Relish them with some sula wine, it's an experience you need to experience if you are a seafood lover.

My fav among all the dishes I tried was the crispy fish and that crab claw 😋 They are really good at crispy frying everything I guess.

Enjoy the Deli-Seaous cuisines at Mainland China

The Deli – Seaous cuisine brought to us by Mainland China. Everyone loves seafood , but when a chinese fine dine restaurant comes up with a seafood festival, it takes you into gluttony heaven. The Crispy Bombay Duck with Sriracha was a perfect way to start the meal. The crunchiness on the outer layer and the soft fish inside accompanied with some hot sauce was an ultimate treat to the tastebuds. To keep up with the perfect start, came the Squid rings tossed in butter, having the perfect brown glaze, which definitely left us lovestruck. Duck, Squid and now comes the oval shaped Crab Claw filled with flavoured minced crab meat served in a small glass with Sambal Salsa which was an ultimate surprise. From the presentation to its taste, it was nothing less than perfection. Oh not to forget the Lobster with Chilli Teriyaki sauce! The dish that made us fall in love, beyond comparison. One can actually see a big lobster head served right on the plate with some delicious lobster meat along with it.

A chinese cuisine is incomplete without Dumplings. Mainland China being on top of its game, introduced the basic dumplings with a twist! Steamed Prawn Dumplings in Sichuan Style! Dumplings filled with minced prawn meat, poached in a spicy Sichuan broth,was an ultimate blast of mouth-watering flavours! OH it’s not done yet, The main course had some perfectly cooked rice paired with some delicious, chilli garlic Prawns. Not just rice but we also had Shanghai Noodles tossed with herbed fish, squid and crab meat,cooked in spicy cinnamon and soya sauce. What a perfect combination!

Ending the meal on a sweet note is a mandate. The ultimate Rambutan with Ice-Cream was a breathtaker. Served over dry ice, giving it an extraordinary, dramatic presentation. If you are wondering what Rambutan is, it’s a famous Thai fruit, having a similar taste to lychee.

Oh the chocolate lovers out there, you cannot miss out on the ultimate Chocolate dome, that would make you go WOW. Pour the hot chocolate onto the Dome, and witness the magic yourself!

With all these delicacies the white wine was the perfect best friend!

The Seafood and Wine festival of Mainland China was one of its kind! Oh so glad that we were lucky enough to witness this delightful experience!

There is no reason to not visit this place again and again. I am addicted to their lunch buffet. It's super reasonable and super tasty too.
They have so many varieties and they definitely serve authentic Chinese.
I am a big time Chinese cuisine fan and this is the reason mainland China is my favorite hot place😁✌️.

This was my first time visiting to mainland china which is in Amanora mall must say i had an amazing experience out there the staff is really polite and helpful in terms of placing food and drinks order we tried there food from the menu they even have Buffet of weekdays lunch for just 520rs and must say the menu has so many variety.... Will surely visit this place u for buffet again very soon.... Keep it up guys...

Well! If you ask me anytime any day what do you wish to eat when out....its nothing but Chinese that I lookout for. But it is either street style Chinese or the authentic one. When it is about authentic, trust me not all can nail it and Mainland China has been my favorite since 2005. The kind of food they serve with authentic flavors is just too good. Warm staff, great hospitality and an amazing ambiance.

Recently since I was craving for Chinese food, I happened to visit the outlet at Amanora Mall. A beautiful fine dine with tables well laid. A complete royal experience all in all.

They have a wide spread buffet from Monday to Friday Rs. 495 per person and OMG the cuisines are not just tasty but in huge variety. There is literally so much to eat.

Here are a few things that I chose to eat during the buffet.

1. Eight treasures soup

2. Thai style chicken dumplings

3. Edamame dumplings with truffle oil

4. Chicken Taipei

5. Crispy corn chilly pepper

6. Braised chicken

7. Japanese wheat noodles

8. Rambhutan with ice cream

9. Watermelon and cilantro crush glass

Out of all of there its very difficult to share my favorite one but yeah Rambhutan which are exotic litchi served with ice-cream was presented very fancy with a glass bowl and dry ice. The steward poured warm water and within seconds my table of full of smoky effect. The taste was good too.

Loved the crispy corn. Great for parties

Dumplings were amazing with generous filling and a thin layer that gave me a mouthful flavor with each bite.

The mock-tail was very refreshing. Am surely going to try it at home.

If Chinese food is what you love, please head no where but Mainland China only.

This place in Amanora mall is a hidden gem this place serve authentic Chinese food.... The food is mouth watering and...Loved there service friendly and polite staff the serve buffet also but this time we. Tried there al a cart Thai style dumpling was just amazing we even tried there Japanese wheat noodles and for the dessert we had sizling Browne with hot chocolate sauce....have become a die hard fan of mainland China now will visit then again for there buffet...

This is the first and best experiences I have ever had in having Chinese food. Mainly for indian eaters we need to see the picture of the dish what we want to have when we are trying some other cousin. They provide the menu on tab along with the dish pictures, which really makes us decide what I want to have 😜. Overall experience was fantastic. I enjoyed the ambience, food quality, service. Additionally... At the time of billing, I denied to pay the service tax, waiter politely accepted and provided the amended bill reducing service tax.

Good food & ambience. Soups were the highlight of the meal, especially crabmeat soup. Burnt garlic chilli noodles went well with veg dumplings in soya sauce. Sea food rice with chicken suave was good too. All in all a lovely dining experience for family.

Well if you want to go crazily full with pan asian delicacies..come n have their buffet..it is sumptuous and authentic pan asian cuisine..the starters varied from spinach rolls in veg to fish n chicken in non veg..the main course has mouth watering delicacies of lamb fish prawns..i liked the small portions of deserrt..quite a spread n not very sweet...the ambience is absolutely fantastic to come n spend some quality time with ur frnds family..try their small portion of sula champagne..they serve 60 ml..it's pocket friendly n goes good with the food..

All good restaurants serve good food, but great restaurants provide excellent customer service too.

Mainland China falls in the later category !

Amongst other things, we ordered Stir Fried Veg in Thai Basil, which had much more gravy than expected. We called the restaurant and Ujjwal from the customer service was very prompt to co-ordinate with the kitchen and confirmed that gravy was bit more. He was more than glad to resend the order even in the heavy Pune rains.

The new dish was lip smacking and we didn't realize that they also had a nice dessert surprise for us :)

It was a gesture which will.make sure we will stay their loyal customers. Keep up the great food and service !!!

This (Boat Club Branch) was once a top 5 restaurant in Pune. With new branches and large size, they have moved to more buffet crowds. Still cleanliness, ambience and service beats most chinease place in the city by a big distance. Pretty good value for the money.

We ordered Basil Flavour chicken dumpling , Chicken Tai Pai ,For the mains we ordered Braised chicken in smoke chilli sauce and seafood fried rice we also wanted to try the edamame dumpling but we were so full couldn't try this time but for sure next time will visit soon specially for edamame dumpling.... We came here on a Friday night and we tried out the buffet. To start with we had the pepper lemon chicken soup which was so amazing.
They serve 5 starters on the table prawns, fish, chicken Bao, drums of haven chicken and chicken dimsums. I was completely in love with every starter, the fish was a tad bit salty apart from that It was a gastronomic bliss.
The main course had burnt garlic egg fried and chicken noodles, fish, lamb, prawns and chicken curries,was not a fan of the fish curry though apart from that everything was fantastic.
For desserts they had ice cream, caramel bread pudding, honey darsaan and a lot more which was a perfect way to end the meal.
Delectable food, lit interiors and great ambience makes this place a must visit for your food epicures. The place was completely full and the service was good.

One of the things I liked about this place is their service. Usually waiters serve only once but in mainland china they serve everytime your plate is empty. If you like Indian chinese this isn’t the right place.
Ordered Chicken Terriyaki which had a sweetish flavour, ginger was a bit overpowering. We also had the prawn noodle in hot garlic sauce. I felt the noodles could have been softer otherwise great food.

Few places provide good Chinese cuisine and Mainland China definitely captures it's essence. Choose the right dishes and you won't be disappointed. Crab meat soup is a must try with a mild delicious flavouring. Prawn & water chestnut dimsums with translucent covering was steamed to perfection - I am now a fan of these. Got a customised version of the nonveg hakka noodles (eggs, chicken, prawn, lamb) and the blend of flavour was exactly as I expected. Tried the chilli basil fish in claypot and I was floored - the sauce was so perfect that I am at loss for words. It had a unique and different taste. Try it!

Rates are slightly higher compared to other restaurants but the taste is really authentic. Noodles had a perfect blend of sauces and were loaded with healthy veggies. Firstly, I would like to start with the experience you recieve over here is amazing. The hospitality is of top notch. Mr. Rana, the hotel manager is very grateful. We were there for my fiancee's birthday and somehow he knew about it and offered a cake and celebrated. Am really glad we visited this place. We ordered a seafood mix noodles and am sorrythat I have forgotten the name of the chicken items and Virgin Mojito. All the food items had spectacular taste and were well served. And with introduction of Zomato Gold in here, gives it a cherry over the top. Overall, a must visit.

If you love Chinese, this is one restaurant you should try. I have been to the Amanora branch. Nice ambience and great food. If you like prawns, you should definitely try the Singapore chilly prawns. Ala carte, buffet both are nice and budget friendly. Staffs are very polite.

The best thing is they customize the dishes according to your taste buds, so feel free to get it done just the way you like it. I've been in various outlets of Mainland China in Pune and elsewhere. This time I went for their lunch buffet and had a pleasant experience.

Good variety in both starters and main course with chicken, fish, prawn, lamb all featuring on the menu. Owing to it's Bengali origins the mustard sauce preparations of fish and presentation were the highlight but the other items were pretty good as well. However don't expect great dimsums here, it's more of a regular Chinese food place.

The buffet is good value for money and the ambience is nice, so this is one of the best restaurants in Amanora.

My experience at Mainland China was good in terms of both food and hospitality. The eight treasure soup was ok but the Hakka noodles were not as per my expectations. The veg snacks were average and they should definitely work on it. The staff was courteous and the ambiance is good as well.

We were there for almost 2 hours.. even though the restaurant was full the service was impeccable.. it made the dine-in experience worth it 😊. Must try the Chinese food here.

Had visited Aundh's branch several years back, and the taste was good then. This time at Amanora, it was an okayish one. The seven treasure soup was good. Pan friend noodles with soya braised vegetables was okayish (too saucy). Basil flavoured veg dimsum and spring roll almost tasted the same and were not good at all. To compensate this, the management served us the dessert complimentary. Service was good, food was okay.

Had a lovely time at Mainland China last Sunday. Visited for their weekend lunch buffet which was full of delicious dishes from across the Chinese regions. We were served Chinese Tea, Kimchi Salad and Veg Hakka Soup on the table. The soup was really good, I have rarely enjoyed any Soup as much. The starters followed on our table soon enough, we got 5 Veg starters, including dumplings. These were delicious versions of the usuals with unique taste in terms of the sauces they were flavored with. The buffet spread was expansive as well. It had 4 varieties each for Veg/Non Veg Curries, Rice and Noodles. There were 6 dessert choices including several eggless options. Overall there was something for everyone based on their food preferences and palates. With truly amazing food and their warm hospitality, this Buffet/Brunch is a great offering at ₹895. Located on the second floor of Amanora Mall, this place is definitely recommended.

Authentic Chinese food. Take any noodle based dish, the noodles are soft, not oily, and cooked to perfection, never over cooked. Every time I have visited this place, the Chef always came up to my table after each dish and checked if I liked the taste. Only one problem, having food here burns a hole in your pocket, extremely expensive, but worth the price given that you won't find such Chinese food anywhere else in Pune. Soups approx rs 400, desserts ~300, main course dishes ~500-600. I would suggest to visit on weekends when they have buffet package for lunch and dinner.

No Indian restaurant can compete with the flavour of Mainland China. The meal is fantastic, and there are several selections. This restaurant is rather large. The suggestions from the staff are fantastic. Everything was wonderful and fresh. We were there for over two hours. Despite the fact that the restaurant was busy, the service was excellent. It made the restaurant experience worthwhile.
