We went here yesterday for dinner.
Its very conjusted small hotel. Barely 3 table on upper deck and 2 on ground.
We ordered 2 Paplet thali. It costed 550. We felt it was too costly but..
Taste was very nice.
Fish, solkadi and rice bhakari was amazing.
Overall as against other recently tasted malwani food outlets, this taste was paar abv the level n better.
Definitely will visit again.

During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying the prawns and pomfret, and both were simply delicious. The flavors were bold and the seafood was cooked to perfection. I was truly impressed by the quality of the food.
To end the meal, I tried the Solkadi, which was a refreshing and tasty way to cleanse my palate. It was the perfect way to end a great seafood meal.
Overall, I highly recommend Malvan Samudra to anyone looking for delicious and authentic seafood. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the prices are reasonable. It's definitely worth a visit!
The food was excellent. Prawn fry was very good and all the sea food provided was fresh. I especially liked the coconut chutney they provided along with prawn fry. It had tamarind in it and was very delicious.
Restaurant should o work on their ambiance, it was not that good.
This place takes you instantly to the coastal trip along Malvan. The food is tasty and very delicious. The ambience is simple and comforting. Service is very good and they have a small table bell to call for the service staff (thats quite unique).

If you are a true fish food lover then this is the best restaurant. It's not at all overrated. All the fish dishes are fresh.
People who want to taste the authentic malvani food, this is the place for you.
Today we had visit to malvan samudraa wakad branch, had great experience, we ordered Bombil fry and paper garlic prawns , test was delicious with minimalistic price...must visit, good job malvan samudraa team, We would definitely like to visit again.
The fish is scrumptious! Be it the fish thali, fried prawn or fried bombil. An authentic slice of konkan cuisine in Wakad. I have been eating at other locations of this restaurant and the taste of the dishes is as consistent as time.
Will give 4.5 Stars To Prawns Thali ...4.5 stars for Baby surmai Fry .... Amazing seafood taste and quality ....Affordable and quality seafood ....Must visit ...We visited their 2nd branch which is also quite amazing...Thank you

🔹Chicken Malvani Biryani :- This is really scrumptious. Rice and chicken was nicely cooked. Aroma was amazing. It was served with gravey and salad.
🔹Surmai Fry :- It was very yummy and properly cooked.
🔹Prawns Fry :- it was nicely marinated and shallow fried. It was so delicious. Highly Recommended.
I took away the food and had it on my place.

Nice place to taste sea food. We ordered Crab soup, Surmai Fry and prawns biryani..Crab soup was made really delicious, Surmai fry was also tasty n nicely decorated..Prawns biryani was bit spicy. Overall nice place to taste sea food.

My order was Crab Sukka, Chapati, Bangda tawa fry and Solkadhi. The meal was wholesome and takes your soul to coastal areas.... I enjoyed my meal. One star less for very compact space. I won't say that its authentic Malvani but it quite close.

Being a big Sea food fan, I always explore new sea food joints in town. Malvan Samudra is one such sea food joint which I found in Wakad Area.They serve variety of sea food specialities starting from prawns, pomfret, surmai to bombil, bangda. Along with seafood they also serve malvani chicken and mutton.
I had ordered following food items from their menu :
Prawns Fry
Medium sized prawns marinated in indian spices and chilli powder and then deep fried till it swirls up completely. The crunchy and delicious prawns fry will definitely make you crave for it.
Surmai Fry
A popular fish fry, which is crispy outisde and soft inside. Surmai pieces are marinated in ginger-garlic paste,turmeric powder, salt, lemon juice and indian spices. The surmai pieces are coated with red chilli powder, rawa and rice flour which makes the outer cover crispy. The surmai was soft,fresh and shallow fried.
Prawns Malvani Biryani
Prawns cooked with perfection and then added to malvani masala and basmati rice. The aroma of basmati rice and malvani masala gives a delightful flavor to prawns biryani. The quantity of biryani is perfect for two. This is their malvani delicacy which you can't miss.
Overall a decent place for sea food lovers... Do try their Surmai fry, Pomfret fry and Prawns Biryani for sure. I am definitely going to visit this place soon and try their other delicacies.
