Oh my god! Fungo Magica was an angel is disguise because they were sending in food all the way from Viman to Bund Garden and the pizza I ordered was to die for!
It was 11 inches of GOOD FOOD! Thin crust and FULL of toppings it was everything I’d wanted to eat at 3 and just so happy that I came across this place!
Until the next time I get another on of those midnight hunger pangs...

Really tasty thin crust pizzas baked to perfection. Have always liked the basic sadu pizza with cheese. Taste is still the same, takes me back to my childhood.
The pizzas are amazing! The juiciness of the tomatoes as well as the crispness of the crust is a perfect blend. I highly recommend this place!

Been to this place once. The ambience is not that pretty but the food here is quite cooked to perfection . The service is quite fast and staff is polite here. Pocket friendly? Absolutely not .
The moment we took our seats we were handed the menu . All the food we saw were very expensive . Then the next problem was to order a decent pasta but it was quite difficult . The staff was good enough to help us with it tho. So we finally settled for a pasta named Alla Arrabbiata which costed 300 bucks . To be honest one of the best pasta I've ever had so far . It was perfectly cooked . The red sauce was simply yum and the quantity was unexpectedly good. Literally cooked to perfection .
If you're a PASTA LOVER then this place is for you but you need to have a BIG BUDGET to settle down for a decent dinner or lunch at this place .

We catered from the restaurant for a party of 50ppl. The food was amazing!! Starters plus Live pizza and pasta...all made fresh in house. They were very professional and precise at their work. The taste of each dish was perfection 👍🏼 they took care of the needs of all guests. I am very impressed.
Have been a regular here since more than 3 years now. The food is simply great and authentic Italian. Great place to go if you want to have good food and talk over it as there is no music, no interference of any kind.What to try : Puttanesca pasta and nachos with cheese sauce. Went back to this place after a long time, its technically a whole in the wall eatery in Koregaon Park, next to the Naturals Icecream. If you have to visit this place you have to go there for just the food, the cheesy nachos, the burritos and the the pasta, they are brilliant. A no frills type of place but if you really want to enjoy good italian flavors, this is the place to be. The service is good too. Simple interiors with 3-4 tables but trust be just try the food once and you will be going back for more for sure
A nice place in Koragaon park for Italian food lovers. Food is great. The only drawback could be that they have only 4 tables, as the place is small however the food is delicious so it does not matter. I have been here many times.
Great place for good yummy Italian food. It's basically a hole in the wall joint with no fancy decor or great linen but the food is simply amazing. The chef will personally help you decide and even open to taken personalization to the dishes. Visit for the food and warm hospitality. Definitely a place to visit if you like Italian and Mexican food.
And finally after so many days v cud manage to go there! D place is too too too small. Hardly 3/4 tables. But taste is abv all everything 😍. V had Burritos, thn Enchiladas and Nachos , v ate Pastas n Garlic Bread. All were good. Great in fact. Those hu r fond of beans shunnot b missing burritos here. Pastas were too too too good.. Too juicy and too tasty to relish. 😋. I ate like anything tht tym. Garlic bread is lil bit different here. They use different sort of bread and yes it's good however it wil in return hurt your upper side of tongue. 😐. Tht was horrible, to me. Ambience OKish. Food great. Service is OKish too🤘🏻 in ths way, I'll rate 3/5 for service n ambience and for food it's 4/5. Visit it ! Can't miss ths.

Its a fantastic place with gr8 food quality superb tastes actually i love eating here and i do atleast once in a week !!! Better then many pizza joints and pasta joints this place really rockes when it comes to tastes its amazing !! So it was Christmas eve and Lunch had to be yummy, five minutes from office comes lane 7 and always wanted to try IL FUNGO.
THE QUALITY, TASTE - AMAZING.
It is not overrated like other ITALIAN Restu. Genuine good food and reasonable.
Had the Bruschettas which were too good and the very famous paprika pasta.
I felt so satisfied after this meal.
If you just want to go eat and be satisfied this is the place.
If you want to chill, ambiance, tp etc - dont go.

This place is a heaven for pasta lovers, located in Koregaon Park, IL Fungo Magico offers one of the finest Italian food in town.
Ravioli in barberesca sauce and cannelloni are a must try.
Also Nachos could be given a try. A very good service not to forget about.
Visited this place on a friends recommendation and wasn't disappointed ! The pizzas and pasta's both were good. I prefer the pasta's although most would suggest u try their pizzas.
I reached the place at 2.45pm for lunch and they served me without a fuss even though they seemed to be closing !! That I found impressive as most places these days don't !

I ordered home delivery from this place so cannot comment on the ambience etc. But the food was pretty good. And delivered before time. Pizza is better than popular pizza chains. Crostini della casa(garlic bread with eggplant slices, basil and olive oil) was superb i liked the fact that they maintained the rawness of flavors from these ingredients. The Enchiladas in the Mexican section has scope for improvement in fact i have not yet been able to find a good Mexican joint even of the level of taco bell or Chipotle which is a pretty basic standard to set actually :) But yes coming to this place overall its amazing and would visit/order again from here :)

It's been custom to have Friday lunch out somewhere to start the weekend on good note. And today is Friday... :)
There are two reasons, why I have never dare to step in here, 1, looking from out, I was in doubt about the food. 2, Signboard says, 'Management by Little Italy'. If the restaurant is managed by Little Italy, they why would I go here, rather Little Italy itself, by crossing KP?
But I was wrong, though the place is small cooped up in 5 table area, they have good taste to delight you with non-veg menu, which I usually miss in little Italy. NOTE* Please don't compare the food, taste, presentation and menu with little Italy. :)
As the seating capacity is limited, service is fast. Taste is good to satisfy your Italian taste tongue. We had Pasta Barbaresca in white sauce, it was good, cream was thick and tasty. Mushroom were fresh and all spices was so perfect, that we actually clean the plate with no time. Alla Arrabbiata was bit spicy compare to Barbaresca, but sauce was the different here so it was good.
In Pizza, Abruzzo (non-veg) was bland, not taste, we need to sprinkle some chill flakes and chili sauce to to make it tasty. Chicken was fresh and pizza base made it more tasty. Go for the Sicilia, it's veg Pizza, with fresh tomato sauce, mozzarella, mushroom, garlic, onion and sun dried tomatoes with basil was best combination to enjoy on thick crest pizza base.

Managed by Little Italy chain of restaurants, this small place is a must visit for Italian and Mexican food lovers. The food items were very different in names and we ordered Puttanesca pasta and Garlic Bread with Cheese. The pasta I must say was cooked to perfection with the prominent taste of olives, chilly, basil and tomato in a proper proportion. It had the right amount of gravy which was yummy. Garlic bread disappointed me a little by appearance as it was a bun maska pav sandwiched with cheese in between. But again the taste was very good and the flavor of garlic was not left out as I thought it would be. Small place with some 4 5 tables. Hygiene was good. Service was a lil slow. Money wise the place is a lil expensive considering the ambiance and service but with good food variety.
What a surprise this place turned out to be. Tucked in a corner in lane 7 of Koregoan Park, this restaurant has everything from Insalatas to Pastas to Pizzas.
Just do a takeway, especially if you are in mood to have great pizzas.
The place is too small with hardly any space between tables. Its not worth sitting out there.
The pizzas are best. Ask him to make it nice and crispy. You get a charred super thin crust pizza, with perfect melted mozzarella cheese, olive oil, spices and veggies.
I tried the Tobasco, Manali among other types of Pizzas and they were all fantastic.
I never tried the pasta's as i cook pasta as home almost 2 times a week!So am always in mood for some authentic thin crust pizzas!
Whenever i'm in Koregaon Park and its late say 10:30 , 11 pm, i just takeaway a hot pizza. Then i go home and enjoy a warm and hearty meal.

Tucked away in a small shop between Naturals ice-cream and HDFC Bank in Lane 7, this restaurant offers authentic Italian flavors. Haven't tried much here except the heavenly Campesina, white sauce ravioli pasta with mushrooms and sun-dried tomatoes. This pasta is to die for and one of my favorites pasta I have ever had anywhere. Cheese garlic bread are quite decent and good to taste. Would recommend it for Campesina.
A cute little place amidst the hustle bustle of kp lanes... I just love the nachos n pasta especially pasta campesena.. In a thick white sauce with sun dried mushrooms.. Truly amazing!! End ur meal with tiramisu - heaven!!!

So, here is how to work this place: Delivery or Takeout a pizza and ask for it to be baked crisp. What you will get is a very very decent thin crust pizza, with a nice charred base and none of the industrial/canned taste of the chains. Instead, the sundried tomatoes are tomatoey and not leathery, the olives are briny, the mozzarella is the real melty deal and the pizza sauce seems homemade. They do have a heavy hand with the chili flakes, but that is a good thing for me.
My order is usually the Manali or the Sicilian (random mix of Himachal and the Boot of Italy:)), both highly recommended.
Now to the pastas, unfortunately avoidable. The besciamella is gloopy, betraying its maida origins, and the ravioli is too thick. Even the tiramisu is credible only in the face of an urgent craving, otherwise it is overly sweet and has an off-putting texture.
The actual location, with its decor and service, screams ' Delivery or Takeout Only', so stick to that.
Order a pizza and be pleasantly surprised.
I always steer clear from branded Pizza chains so Il Fungo has been a savior for me for almost 7 years now. Whenever I've craved a wholesome delicious chicken pizza with a generous amount of toppings, this place has been my first choice. To be honest, I have not tried anything else from the menu in all these years but when it comes to the aforementioned pizza, Molise has been my choice each and every time. Topped with a generous amount of mushrooms, chicken and cheese, this hearty pizza is both appetizing and satisfying at the same time.

At 10 at night, I felt like having pasta. My sister took me to this quaint little restaurant tucked in a lane in Koregaon Park. I have passed it many a times but never noticed it till this date. As you can see in the photos, the dining area of the restaurant is the size of an average bedroom; maybe smaller. If you want ambiance, this place it definitely not for you. We ordered ravioli with cooked in spinach and cheese with garlic bread. Don't let the small size of this place fool you. The pasta was amazing and so was the garlic bread. I couldn't help gobble up what was on my plate as quickly as I can. The food was tasty no doubt but I think the place needs some serious redecoration. Being a pasta aficionado myself, I definitely want to give this place a credit it deserves for its quality and taste.

This is one of the places you wouldn't want to enter once you are right outside. At least when you want 'brilliant food', err sorry 'Brilliant Italian Food'.

The food more than compensates for the ambience. Believe me, the 'Aglio olio e peperoncino' will take you to another world altogether. It is unbelievably good. Also, 'Crustini Alla Ragusana' and a soft drink to go with it.

Calazone - pizza based dough stuffed with sauce , mushroom, herbs n all. Taste was ok ok.
Pesto pizza - truely speaking I wasnt satisfied with this pizza. Toppings were less. N taste was average.
Arrabiata pasta'- This is something worth mentioning. It had creamy taste. I am a pasta lover and this one was on top of my taste buds. Loved it. Worth a shot!

They claim to be the original chefs of la pizzeria or something like that. This place is one of the oldest in Koregaon park lane 7 and boy don't go by their look. The food defi doesn't disappoint. Although eating packed Italian at home isint as good as eating at the outlet sometimes we have no choice. Neither are the prices really cheap for a small store. But the food is great and I'm not just saying this out of 1 experience but of many. During my college says here we used to frequent this place and even now I defi try to make it in one of my days in pune. They also have a gluten free menu and organic rice which I have to yet try.

What I like best is the Garlic bread, more like garlic bun maska, smooth, soft and garlicy.

honestly wasnt expecting too much when i saw the place but the food is really good i found the pizza a little bland for the pallete but it was authentic..... pasta was delicious.........the bread that dey served was really soft and beautiful....but didnt like the tiramisu that much so was more of a mixed dining experience
Just like everyone who have pointed out that the place looks dull from outside, I had the same thought and underestimated the place. But decided to check the food here and I must say I was surprised by the quality of foods served here. I had non veg pasta here and it was delicious. Frankly, I have never eaten such well cooked pasta anywhere. The white sauce sprinkled with oregano seasoning and red chilli was beautiful. I also had non veg pizza, which I must say just like European style pizza. So, good! The service is good too. People are friendly here. But I do feel that it is bit overpriced. The quality is good no doubt! But the price somewhere i feel let's me down. But I would recommend people to visit this place atleast once.
When you approach this place, it looks a little run-down. I remember being reluctant to go in. There are hardly 6 tables. Dont go here in here if you want ambience. But please do go for the food. It is absolutely fantastic. Authentic italian food but its not bland like other italian joints. Its a treat for foodies. My sincere request, visit once..

If you see the place from outside, it looks like a normal food joint. When you look at the menu card, you sure will think why the hell is it priced so much (considering the ambience)!
But, when you have the first bite of your food, you will realise - WHY!

A small eatery with only 5-6 tables. Il Fungo Magico is owned by the group that also runs Little Italy. With excellent food and great service, their most popular dishes are their pastas and pizzas.
Excellent food at moderate prices. I have been there twice and have always been impressed with the quality, taste and authenticity of the food. We ordered Ravioli, a Goa Pizza, a Zen Pizza, a Calzone and a lasagna. All of which were good. And the bill came to be about 1300 for 4 people once, and about 650 for two once. So pretty much in budget.
This place may look small, but the food is brilliant. The service is quick. I first ate here 5 years back, and ever since I've been sort of a fan.
