Small hotel big taste.. when you enter u will see Very polite staff and owner, you must try pav bhaji and panner tava pulav.. all time hit. same food taste last one decade. Superb !!!

It is nice place to eat Punjabi food... U should try their paneer gold coin and kebab and in desserts u must take mango kulfi....Must visit place in Kothrud.

Located very centrally at Karishma chowk on Karve road. It's a typical shetty types hotel wherein u get pav bhaji, south indian, punjabi chinese, Juice ice cream ,milkshake under one roof.
Food quality is decent, portion Size is ample and most importantly staff is good. Staff will guide and recommend u the dish bases on your liking.
This is a budget hotel and don't expect much from Ambience. It's a very simple hotel having open seating, Hospitality and decorum is below average but food quality is nice. Very affordable prices. Suited for having food quickly at a reasonable price...
One of the all time favourite place for breakfast. Try South Indian dishes with their lovely filter coffee! It's among some of the best traditional places in vicinity.
The quality and quantity of food are excellent. The service is excellent too, staff is very nice. Jain food reparations are available and taste great.
Been here recently for lunch with a friend. We ordered Maysoor masala dosa, Paneer chilly dry and Onion uttappa. Everything was delicious. I would definitely go here again.

I've been eating at this hotel for more than ten years. Their food is excellent. I would recommend their Club Sandwich, Chinese dishes, and Pav bhaji.
We reached kothrud around 11.15..where most of the time you are greeted with closed doors at restaurants..this one was just shutting their door...but graciously allowed us inside...the staff was helpful...and we got a very quick service...without having to limit our options...
I liked the way they had made the paneer tikka masala...we didn't try much...
But this restaurant gets my stars for its super courteous staff...

Wanted to enjoy some south indian cuisine. As it was 12.15 afternoon so thought of going for idli wada sambar. The ambience is ok to go for South indian restaurant.
As soon as the dish arrived there was a nice flavour of sambar which refreshed me
Without any delay I had a spoon of idli and it was mind blowing. It was so soft like a cotton. Easy to cut and delicious though. The right word is it was melting in your mouth. 5 points for that. The sambar was also very tasty better then vaishali and vaishali is only for name sake. Medu wada was also yummy. I ordered 3 extra sambar to relish on and 2 extra portion of coconut chutney as it was served with proper tadka.
I would recommend to all to visit this place once to have sambar and idli.

If you are searching for good North Indian food this is the place. I have visited sumitra so many times and each time has been a delight. Veg kebab masala is a special treat at this place and so is paneer lasooni, paneer basket, and what not. Soups here are too delicious and everything is easy on pocket. For vegetarians, this is a must-visit place.
A very good restaurant for vegetarians.. I used too have paneer pasanda there & daal tadka it's very good.. Other main course menu is also nice .. Service is very good and fast .. You can enjoy with your family .. But place is very small so you may not be enjoy.. Your choice
They have a pretty wide, all-vegetarian menu. The ambience, service and the food are all average, and nothing about this place stands out as such. The Veg Crispy, Tawa Pulav and the Minestrone Soup are some of my preferred dishes. Over the years this place has become sort of a go-to place for dining out with the family owing mostly to the fact that its close by. On the whole its a fairly good place for a quiet meal with the fam.
I always take away Pav Bhaji from this place .

Price is reasonable and quantity also sufficient
Staff is also good and friendly
Ambience is ok ok as I always take home delivery so I cannot comment on that much
Also I haven't tasted other than Pav Bhaji so icannot comment on that too

Update [21/02/16]: I ate a thali here yesterday and the food seemed to taste much better than before. Service was also fairly attentive. Prices were reasonable at ₹180 for a thali of generous proportions and good taste. I'm happy to report the improvement!
Rating: 3.0 - have eaten here on a number of occasions, and really there's nothing special about this place. The food is just average, as is the service and the prices. Basically it's a go-to if you're really hungry and in the mood for the basic vegetarian stuff that you get in Pune. The thali has generous portions, but that's not necessarily a merit if the tastes aren't extraordinary (which they aren't). But it's not bad either. Completely middle-of-the-road stuff.
A go to place to get basic Indian versions of Chinese and other basic cuisine. There is nothing too yummy neither too bad tasting about this place.
All in all, go and have some easy family time or just bring back a parcel at home and enjoy in front of a TV show!

I am an absolute fan of their pav Bhaji.. just cut the Chase and order this one dish. I also quite like their juices. great quantities at a good price. service is quick too.. Do not leave kothrud without giving their pav Bhaji a try.
I am a kothrud localite and hence frequent visitor of the place. Serves out of the world paav bhaji. Big fan of mughlai dishes especially the ones that are non-spicy. One ought to try "Lukhnavi Kofta". Must try :D

Sumitra is a typical veg restaurant on the corner of Karishma society. Ambience and service is average.
Food - pav bhaji (ask for extra lasoon chutney) and jeera aloo.
U need to hunt of parking nearby.
Food quality is awesome and also price is in budget. Punjabi food is really remarkable and one should try congress here. Also if you are fond of deserts try kulfi.

Good restaurant with good service. I visit here almost every week(but for only one dish that is Tawa Pulav). There Pav bhaiji is good. You will get Pav's soaked in Butter. But best dish that I like here is Tawa Pulav. Have been eating Tawa Pulav every week from past 1 year but still not got bored of it.
Cosy little place with an average ambience but very good pricing...this place serves almost everything at reasonable prices....pav bhaji here is the best among all hotels in kothrud....surely go for pav bahji and punjabi dishes.....also chinese here isabove average....

First and foremost, it's a Pure Veg Restaurant.. The food is really Good.. Tried Paneer Tikka Masala here, which had deep Fried Paneer bits, which ended up being really good.. Located at a Signal crossing, Parking might be an issue.. Only downside with my visit was that the service was a little bit slow.. Still, the food was good.. Would recommend..
