The awesome people @charcoaleats invited me over to try their grub. And oh boy I loved the food. Amazing and charming staff. I had the Peri Peri Chicken Pizza square🍕 and their loaded seekh kebab french fries🍟, the mutton biryani, kulcha with chicken keema and the salted caramel mousse. The pizza had a puff pastry base , which was something really unique and might I add yum❤️😋. The biryani had succulent mutton pieces and the chicken keema was spicy and chatakdaar. And the loaded fries with seekh kebab and the barbeque sauce was to die for and something that you should DEFINITELY try here .
The service of this place is very quick. Our host, Ms. Sheetal was welcoming and affable.
The ambiance of this place is pretty decent. The food speaks volumes for this eatery and thus the ambiance can be ignored.
The Biryanis are prepared fresh and served with great affection. Not only the Biryanis but even some of the starters are amazing at this place.
We ordered the following dishes:
Starters:
Signature Chicken Seekh Kebab
Classic Chicken Tikka
Chicken Galouti Kebab
Aloo Ghee Roast
The 'Aloo Ghee Roast' has to be the best among the lot closely followed by the 'Seekh Kebab' and then the 'Chicken Tikka'. The 'Galouti Kebabs' were good too but then the others were better. The chicken is well marinated and cooked and were really juicy!
Biryanis:
Chicken Awadhi
Chicken Classic Hyderabadi
Chicken Makhani
Chicken Tikka
All the Biryanis in the menu are available both in veg and non-veg. As mentioned above the Biryanis are prepared fresh. The best of the lot has to be the 'Chicken Tikka Biryani'. The Biryanis have amazing flavors. They had adequate amount of chicken. The quantity can be increased a bit but other than that issues.
Drinks:
Citrus Green Ice Tea
Classic Lemon Ice Tea
Classic Peach Ice Tea
Honey Mint Ice Tea
Few drinks need to be worked upon. The 'Classic Peach Ice Tea' proved to be better than the rest.
Desserts:
Chocolate Mousse
Salted Caramel Mousse
Strawberry Souffle
The 'Chocolate Mousse' was really amazing and I loved it.
Overall it's a great place to taste some amazing Biryanis and some great kebabs. A must try if you want to enjoy some lipsmacking biryanis with your loved ones.
This is one of the best outlets of Charcoal Eats in terms of ambience and service. The ambience is pretty good, simple and subtle. The dining area is very spacious and the seating is quite comfortable. They have outdoor seating as well.
The outlet is run by Mrs. Sheetal who was very helpful.
The service over here is pretty good. Our table was hosted by Mr. Atul who was very friendly. You don't have to wait for too long to get your stuff.
We Ordered :
Desserts :
Chocolate mousse
Salted caramel mousse
Strawberry souffle
The 'Chocolate mousse' tasted really good. For a chocolate based dessert, it was not too sweet and not too bitter, the taste was perfect. The other desserts were alright.
Drinks :
Citrus green ice tea
Classic lemon ice tea
Classic peach ice tea
Honey mint ice tea
The drinks menu really needs improvement. Some of them taste alright and there's not much to choose from. I liked 'Classic peach ice tea', it had an amazing aftertaste.
Starters :
Signature seekh kebab
Classic chicken tikka
Chicken galouti kebab
Aloo ghee roast
The Starters were amazing! The 'signature seekh kebab' is one of the best dishes I've had in a while. It looks so good and tastes amazing. The kebabs are served with a dip which makes them so delectable. It's a must try! If you're a meat lover, you should order this.
The 'chicken galouti kebab' was very flavourful. It was a little goey and soft, but it tasted good.
'Aloo Ghee roast' was the only Vegetarian dish we ordered and it had an amazing taste. The patties were so crispy and delicious. It's a must try.
The 'Classic Chicken tikka' had an amazing taste. The chicken was so soft and juicy. It was marinated really well. The spices used, made it extremely flavourful.
The quantity is pretty okay, but the quality is amazing.
All the starters were good.
Biryani :
Chicken Awadhi
Chicken classic Hyderabadi
Chicken makhani
Charcoal eats is known for their biryanis. They've got a pretty good variety of Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian Biryanis on their menu.
'Chicken Awadhi' : Not bad, but I'd prefer the other biryanis over this.
'Chicken classic Hyderabad' : Better than the awadhi biryani. Quite a unique taste.
'Chicken Makhani' : Best of the lot. Really good taste. The masala makes it heavenly!
Overall, it a pretty good place. The outlet management and service is top class. The place is handled really well. But Charcoal eats needs to work on their drinks and a few of their desserts.
If I were to rate this outlet on account of Ambience and service, it deserves a five on five.
But when it comes to the overall experience which includes food of course, I think there are a few things here and there that can be improved.
Located on the silent interior streets of Aundh, this place has a regular indoor as well as outdoor seating.I visited here for lunch with a friend of mine.
What we ordered ???
•Starter-DAHI KE KEBAB
Dahi ke Kebab is a special type of kebab which should be soft, crispy and moist ,all at same time. But the ones served here were oily ,soggy and OKish in taste, could have been better if not deep fried.
•Main Course-VEG AWADHI BIRYANI
As per their recommendation tried Awadhi biryani for the very first time and it was WOW.It had a slightly sweetish taste as compared to Hyderabadi Biryani which made it distinct. Also the quantity was adequate for the price paid.
•Sides-EXOTICA PIZZA SQUARE
This one is similar to any thin crust Pizza with Khaari base.
Honestly I did not like it as the toppings were dry and base was too crisp to gulp properly.
.
•Dessert-SALTED CARAMEL MOUSSE
As I am not a fan of chocolate ,so ordered Salted caramel mousse .It was soft as silk and melted in mouth.Truly ,one of the best mousse I had in recent times.Highly recommended 👍.
👉Charcoal Eats is a pocket-friendly restaurant famous for its Biryanis & Desserts, very much suitable for home delivery as well.
Charcoal Eats, the new QSR at Aundh is a hidden nugget. Centrally located (in Aundh's new Khau Galli - lane of Gaikwad Petrol Station) it has an array of awesome food, great ambience and super service. The attractive but not overly stuffed menu offers just the right choices and includes Biryani's, Pizza Squares, Starters (Tikka & Kebab), Rolls, Bites (Rings and Stuffed roti's), Loaded Fries with several sauce combinations. It also has meals (Amritsari Chole/Chicken Kheema served with Malabar Paratha), Food Combos and of course some sinful desserts 😀. Time for a visit 👍😁👍
Love the way food is served specially focused on neatness and plating good place to hangout with your buddies
Good biryani at affordable price. Not crowded, attentive staff.
Had Classic Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani.
It was very good. Ordered using swiggy and it came quickly. Highly recommended. If you dont eat spicy, then this might be challenging for you.. if you love slight spicy then you will surely enjoy it.
Ambience:
Cafe is decent with good amount of tables to be occupied.
Food:
Chicken malai tikka:
The chicken malai had this amazing marinated sauce all over it which made it tasteful till the end of the bite.
Tandoori fries were loaded with mayo tandoori spices and garlic which added zesty touch to it.
Chocolate mousse: This could have been better.
Biryani had the right combination of spices which made each rice grain tasty and the chicken used in it was well marinated and cooked.
Classic peach ice tea:
Packaged drink, so don't expect it to be awesome. This was okayish in taste.
Overall ratings:
4/5
I ordered veg biryani from them. The packing was excellent with food pictures on the cover. Also extra curd was there. I liked the taste and quality. Can't wait to visit this place. Next time whenever I'm ordering biryani it will be from Charcoal eats only.❤
I ordered Veg biryani, it was pretty delicious with perfect amount of spice. The ambience was calm and cute. The staff is also very helpfull and friendly. 10/10 would definitely recommend.
They tried tunde-ke-kabab also known as Galouti Kabab. I really appriciate their effort. A full biryani is sufficient for one person (unlike other places where 2 can eat a single full biryani). Beautiful place and outdoor seating. What ate one point is that they dont have soft drinks. For me, Biryani is not complete unless had with sprite or 7UP. Mild music would have been appreiciated.
