I've been here many times now and it's a cozy nice place. You can sit here for hours and no one will disturb you. You can come with a date or with friends it's comfortable both ways to be here.

Situated right on the main road, this cafe is just the place for a relaxed date or a long chat with friends. Their sandwiches and burgers are delicious. Love the chili cheese fries as well. The window seating is very comfy and the service is decent.
This cafe is located on main Karve road near Garware college where you will not find good place to chill out. I have been there many times and first time I tried masala omelet sandwich and then I always just order same dish as I really liked this 👌👌. Sandwich is crunchy but soft to eat, omelet is uniformly layered between slices of bread and used to the point sauces, doesn’t need extra ketchup to eat. Very nice 👍. I would love to test other menus too.

They have seating on the upper floor, the ground floor is kitchen.
The menu provides a good bunch of varieties to choose from. We ordered Penne arrabiata, cold coffee & fresh lime soda.
Quantity was good compared to price. The taste was also good just than Pasta was quite too tangy in flavour for arrabiata. Overall it was a good experience. One should really visit the place with friends to chill out.

The food they offer is too good, be it veg or be it nonveg... French fries, Alfredo pasta, french toast, pancakes, mashroom sandwich, chicken sandwiches, lemon iced tea, and waffles are the best things they serve!
The only area of improvement for this place is expansion of space and provision of restrooms.

This cafe is right on the main road on karve road. They have one table for outside sitting and the rest all tables are on the first floor. Kitchen and counter are on ground floor. I liked the sitting area near the big window. Nice hangout place.
You've to order while going upstairs. You can press the bell to call the waiter upto your table. +1 for this.
The menu has some good burgers and waffles. I like the beverages here. The rates are pocket friendly.

I had the chicken teriyaki burger. It was very small burger, kinda disappointed with it. And the buns were too big. The chicken was juicy and the tomato and onion pieces increased the flavor.

I had something that was called Electric Shock. Sounds good, tastes okay. I'd recommend you to get it only if you're wearing your experimental hat.
Overall I liked the ambiance and service. Food quality is good, but need big time improvements over the burgers.
Been there lots of times with many people. Location is good so it is convenient for many people to meet there. On ground floor they have kitchen and seating arrangement is on upper floor. Seating arrangement is good if you have large group you can sit by the window. You can try many things here and they are good. Only thing is you have to order first and then you can go upstairs or else you will have to go down for every order. One of the fav cafe of mine. Try sandwiches, ice tea, cold coffee etc.
Its a small place but the seating arrangement is very well done. From the window we can see the hustle bustle going on the road. We had ordered 2 sandwiches , cheese chilli toast and cappuccino. The sandwich was nice but cheese chillin toast wasnt upto the mark. It was burnt here and there. The cappuccino tasted different like stale milk had been used. Being a cafe i expect coffee to be good. Even service needs to be improved. But the overall experience was good. And it is very pocket friendly. So if they improve on some aspects i would visit this place again soon to try other things on menu. :)
A small eatery near Swapnanagari on Karve Road. Happened to be here accidentally. Family wanted to have an ice cream so had been for the same near this eatery. The waft of coffee hit my senses hard. So while all had ice cream nearby, decided to have a snack and coffee here.
Only 1 table for outdoor seating and a few on the 1st floor. Also they have Indian seating near a specially made glass window facing the main road.
Ordered a classic veg grilled sandwich and a Cappuccino. Both were fantastic. Later was joined by my family and ordered a grilled cheese sandwich. Will definitely return for a breakfast.
It is a small and a cute place. They have a nice seating arrangement in the open. We went there during the evening and sat outside the cafe which was quite pleasant. We tried their corn and spinach sandwich was was really good. It is not a kind of a place where someone should visit from a far off place but if you're already in this locality then this place can be visited. They have really nice food!
Their window side seating is a highlight in the evenings. Although there is no AC and hence it is a bit uncomfortable in the summer. Their salads are fresh green and their pastas are hot and well dressed. Their service is good and you can have a gala time here even in the rush hours!
I Loved this place.. I had cheese chicken salami sandwich which was very delicious and I even ordered chicken alfredo pasta which was not good.. The food is worth the price.. Those who like sandwiches should must visit this place once !!

But Salads are beyond compare. Quality, price and quantity - the amazing Salads win on all three counts hands down! Awesome taste. Filling portion.
And you CAN customize. Small enough place for you to tell the salad-maker your preferences.
To add to the attraction in these days of 'cash' crunch, the enterprising fellow has got a portable swipe machine. You won't get a printed receipt, but you will get a text message on your mobile.

Situated on a crowdy Karve road, I've been here couple of times but since this is my very first review, I'll describe one by one.
Firstly, there's a 4 seater table outside the café, but since the road is too noisy, I've always preferred sitting in. The ground floor has a kitchen with an adjacent cashier counter and narrow steps leading to the first floor which has a cozy well-lit sitting arena that includes regular wooden tables and at the end ,a sitting space for groups. Every table has a plug point for charger (Thank you!), also a bell for calling the staff, but many a time the staff haven't come. I hope they install AC as it does get suffocating after a while.
We ordered Veggie Burger, Corn and Spinach Burger, Classic Grilled sandwich, Corn and Spinach sandwich and Masala French Fries. That was the best Burger I ever had. The tikki was delicious and of good size too. The size of the Burger was kind of big so make sure to have it on an empty/light filled stomach. The sandwich was perfectly Grilled and tasty.
The next time, we ordered a chilli cheese toast which was ok ,not too great as the cheese was dry and not that fresh.
Then we had pancake with chocolate syrup which tasted fine. Supposedly the taste of pancake depends on the toppings.
Now that they've introduced pizzas too, I can't wait to try them out. This is a nice, comfortable and recommended café with a friendly staff.
One of my favourite cafes on karve road . Small setting. Space divided into Indian and table-chair seating. Small cozy place. Food is great. Do try the crispy chicken burger. Staff is nice. Most importantly it's easy on the pocket.
burgers are made using hand made patties. unlike others which use frozen venkys. grt coffee. pizzas are too good. sure takes time but worth waiting. nice waffles. probably better than around.
Bread N Butter is a really nice place to chill and a cheap cafe where you can order something for max 100 and sit for hours studying, or reading, or do just about anything. The staff is too friendly. Also, if you're going there to eat, do try their masala omlette, it's yum :D
Okay, I really have been to this place just twice and still it's a special place for me indeed. Both the times I didn't have anything much but both the times that I went here are like memories Forever. If you ask me for food, I had just coffee and some sandwich both the times. But it was good nothing that I could complain about. Just that the second time when I went I was bit disappointed with a slightly unexpected high bill. But that was fine not much expensive.
Have been here not more than twice but this place has carved in my list of all time favorite restaurants, reasons may be personal but place really is worth visiting again and again. Burgers and sandwiches and coffee can be served anywhere but the quality exceeds the price here. The place place to sit and chill here is by the window on the platform, you won't notice time flying here.
The burger is highly recommended, coffee quite serves its purpose but French fries here are my favorite served with cheese dip.
Place us little congested but nicely furnitured interior brings out the best out of cafe bread n butter.

Great place to hang out. It has now become a type of "adda" for us. Indeed the seating arrangement makes you feel as if its a "college kattah". Ordered Cappuccino along with veg grilled sandwich. Also loved the taste of mojito. Love this place. But the place looking like kattah is not available for everyone (on first come first basis). Others may have to settle for tables and chairs. Overall a great place.

I am a regular visitor to this place since 2 yrs.. and i dnt knw i have nt written any review fr it so far.. well.. its a cafe.. a prfct kind of cafe having its own specialisation in menu.. the food served is creative.. i really like the cheese chilli french fries nd the devilish eggs.. all the items in the menu are worth trying.. i am a fan of this place specially because u can sit here for hours.. you can sit alone.. have a meeting.. work on your laptop.. and absolutely no one will come to disturb you.. there r separate bells and charging points provided at each table.. which makes this place more hospitable 😊

We picked out this place for a Saturday brunch. Pretty good decision... The waffles with blueberry syrup were quite nice. Masala fries were okay...nothing special there. The grilled cheese sandwich was heavenly!
The iced cappuccino was less than impressive; though the coffee itself was good, the ice they put in kinda watered it down.
On the whole though, a nice place to spend the afternoon.

A quiet little place that is tucked away and one almost misses it in the first instance. One great thing about this place is the bell system to place your order, better than calling out to people. The food was good enough, hygiene was also good and the best part is that the staff willingly wants to serve you. So if it a quick snack that you seek or just some quiet time to read the newspaper while sipping on some tea, this is certainly a place I would recommend.
Cafe bread n butter is just amazing to experience. I hv visited this place many times. The place is tiny, still the amount of enjoyment is more than the place. Burgers are too good in taste and Waffles too. Coffee's are so so in taste. And due to lack of workers service is slow abit.

The window seating on the first floor is the best when you have a bigger group. The tables are comfortable only if you visit as a couple. The chair and table is small if you have a group of even 4-5 friends
They can though work on beverages (especially iced tea). Also the service tends to get confused as the place gets crowdy.

Was planning to visit to this cafe from long time for breakfast, but landed up in going for quick bite on Friday night. This is small cafe located on Karve road with nice ambiance on first floor, mix of cane furniture and Indian sitting. I was welcomed with courteous staff who suggested lot of options. I decided to go for Crispy chicken burger which they further customized with egg fry as added topping . Chicken patty was nicely made , real crispy and did not turned soggy till burger was finished.Soft fresh bread with adequate amount of cheese and mayo made this burger perfect one. I also had grilled cheese sandwich which was equally good. Stuffed cheese was out of world. Perfect example of how a simple sandwich can be made finger licking. Wish they had wheat bread soon in their menu.
I heard alot about this place and seriously wanted to try. First impression from outside seemed nothing special. But once I entered my god ! Ambience is perfect ! Perfectly planned and everything on place as it should be so 5/5 for that. I was not much hungry so just ordered masala omelette and lemon tea and barbeque sandwich for friend of mine. The taste is great of both no complains or whatsoever !
Only one point the order time is too much be prepared for an half hour for your order to get ready. Even we asked for a empty plate and they give us after 10 mins I mean seriously ?

Discovering This tiny little cafe located bang on karve road is one of the best things that happened to us. Conveniently located, with ample parking space for two wheelers, bread n butter is our favourite breakfast place. Clean and hygienic, the food is prepared fresh. Since the place is small and lacks staff, the service is a bit slow but it is completely worth the wait. I've tried almost everything on the menu and trust me almost all of it is good. The turkey sandwich and ice tea are my favourites while the cheese and garlic sandwiches, pancakes and waffles are also worth a try.
A really nice place for waffles and pancakes in kothrud. Its really economical with relation to tge quantity provided and tastes good too. Service I really slow but its got a nice ambience so no problem hanging out here till they get your order.

A small place to chill out with your friends n meet over Sunday brunches. All the sandwiches are worth trying here and the cold coffee. The quantity served is also good. Value for money. You'll find ppl of all age grps coming with frnds n family for brunches. Weekend evenings it does get a bit crowded.
This small joint is situated at Nal stop and is quite close to my college so we went here one morning for breakfast over a long break. It's a cute little place. No frills. The breakfast specialty does full justice to it's name. We were the first customers of the day and walked in soon as the cafe opened. So, we were told that the equipment would take about ten minutes to be ready. We ordered cheese mushroom sandwich, cheese tomato sandwich and banana pancake. Pocket friendly!! And very filling breakfast. The prices are perfect for students. Overall, a very good place to have some yummy breakfast for a good start to your day.

Do you need a place to hangout, or a quiet place to study, or a place to relax and watch the traffic move by? Then this is the perfect place for all of this.
After a lot nany visits to this place , here comes the review.
First things first...the interior..cosy. they have their kitchen downstairs and rhe seating is upstairs. The best part is the wooden platform which overlooks the road. Imagine sipping hot wonderful coffee during the rains on this platform. Wow.
They have a lesser variety when it comes to food. But whatever they serve they do it the best.
My all time favourites are the veg grilled sandwich, the deviled eggs , hot mocha and cold coffee. You also get tasty pancakes at the lowest prices in the city.
It is the most pocket friendly cafe I have ever went to.
Their ordering system is very unique. Every table has a bell and when you are ready to order you call the personnel by ringing the bell. They wont disturb you until they are called. (Which i think is the best part)
The owner deserves an applaud for keeping up such a nice and cozy place with such low prices without compromising on the quality and taste along with a friendly staff.
And yes, they also give out toffees while you pay the bill.
a Big thanks to my cousin who recommended this place for breakfast. the first "like" goes to the decor. the warli painting of a cafe gives a perfect idea about what the cafe offers. ie. youth food with traditional touches. the cafe offers a relaxed sitting place simply perfect for group of friends to meet up and chill out. a comfortable place where you are not disturbed by rushing in crowds and hurried waiters. a perfect place for a late morning breakfast or brunch.
Now coming to the better part of it , yes the food ! Sandwiches was what i tried and can vouch for. The variety was quite good and sandwiches worth the value. its a treat for chiken, egg , cheese and salad lovers. i strongly recommend the cheese salami sandwich for chicken lovers.

After about 5 visits, in the past 2 months, here's my review for Cafe Bread n Butter (BnB)
My 1st visit to Bnb was actually unplanned. I happened to be around Karve rd for some work, and desperately needed a coffee break. Saw this tiny cafe just between Dairy Don and Sonal hall, and decided to give it a try.
As I entered, I noticed a very small, well equipped kitchen where 3 guys were busy cooking.
Just as I was about to go upstairs where the seating area is, one of the guys looked up, and handed me a bottle of water, to take upstairs.
"Weird.. What a way of 'serving' the guests " I thought to myself, as I walked upstairs...
But as I sat down in that cozy space, looking around at the very casual and relaxed ambiance, I realized that maybe that's just their way of making you feel at home.
The place is very basic. Simple cane furniture.. Small space, but a lovely, huge window with a view of the bustling Street below (thankfully without the chaos and the blaring horns from the street)
Sitting by that window with rain pouring outside, sipping some delicious cappuccino and reading a book, or just watching the world go by, If thats not bliss, what is ?!
Though its a very small, no frills set up, there are some very thoughtful things that I havnt seen anywhere else... Each and every table has besides it, a bell (for when you need to call them to place your order) , and a plug point to charge your phones /laptop ! Very thoughtful indeed !
Food is light on the pocket, yet filling and lip smacking good. The menu mainly consists of Burgers, Sandwiches, Coffee, breakfast essentials like omelette, pancakes waffles etc..
The portions are good , and the sandwiches are Really stuffed generously till they burst at the seams !
My favourite is the Chicken Salad Sandwich, which has chunks of chicken with shredded veggies in a creamy mayo base. Another favourite is the Cheese and Mushroom grilled sandwich, and also the mix veggie grilled sandwich.
French fries, nuggets, cheese chilli toast, all make a good side order along with their awesome Cappuccino and Iced Coffee..
Overall, a nice cozy place, where you can meet up friends for some gossip and a cup of coffee, or just to sit peacefully and read..

One of the best in student faves
Since I live right opposite the café, I end up going here nearly everyday. It's one of those pocket friendly places with amazing food. You will love how liberal he is with the cheese. The best part is when I walk in, they always greet me and ask me if I'll have my lemon tea and I always say yes :)
Must try the grilled turkey and cheese sandwich and the fries with cheese sauce. The scrambled eggs are great for breakfast.
I do, however, wish the service was a bit faster.
This place is a bit difficult to find, though located in on main road. It is just next to Dairy Don the placard of the place is small. Coming to place the ambiance is medium and menu is really economic and food quality is great. Coming to the food this place serve price effective food. Pancakes, Sandwiches and Burgers are the best options available. But this place lacks in service and ventilation. Except a Window Seat other tables have almost no ventilation and you feel a bit humid inside the cafe.
Overall a good cafe.

The food and service here is average. Nothing special. I love food, and I won't just give away 4.5 points. But, all the points go to the ambiance and cost (Prices are really pocket friendly)! Some might argue what's so special about the ambiance? But let me tell you its worth 5 points. The first time I came here, I fell in love with this place. On the main road but still so secluded. I asked the owner if I will be 'allowed' to sit here as long as I like, and he said, "If there is no waiting, sure you can."
You can sit here with your laptop for hours on end. Its very comfy with a charging point and a BELL!! It's a dream to have someone serve you on the ring of a bell! Something that you wont get at home. ;)

Good place..little less on space..but the items i ordered were all good.the mushroom and cheese grill could have done v with little salt and pepper v though. The Masala omelette and v toasts were just perfect and so was the cold cappuccino. Over all for 150/- it was anb awesome treat.
I have visited this place 3 times in a month and it is indeed VALUE for Money. The team is young n enthusiastic. The food is yummy and portions good to give you a feeling of being full. First floor also has wooden sitting arrangement facing the road thru the glass, where a group can sit cross legged over a nice cup of coffee and the tasty burger or sandwich for each.
A very cosy and comfortable joint where you can hangout for as long as you want! It offers a variety of innovative foods n drinks, almost all of which are good! I especially like their chicken teriyaki burger, fries and cold coffee! I'm a huge fan of their cappuccino, which is just amazing!!
Though the service can be a little slow sometimes, the ambience in d cafe, especially if you're sitting at the katta, with their WiFi service, doesn't make you impatient.
Go there on a lazy afternoon and try out their mocktails, they are really good!!
No other shop in radius of atleast 3km to offer such variety.
Capuccino is frothed unlike other places! leans more towards Black coffee but more milk can be ordered for. (30 bucks ! worth )

This is just an awesome place, cooked by heart and all the care. Order anything, as everything tastes a fresh here. Love going to BnB and have a breakfast.
Mine happened to be an unplanned visit to Cafe BnB. I was visiting Sonal Hall which is located next door to BnB and needed a tea break so decided to try the place out. BnB appears to be a family run place and the folks were quite welcoming.
Location: BnB is located right on Karve Road next to Sonal Hall and a couple of blocks down from Nal Stop.
Ambience: The place is done up pretty well in a quaint little manner. I noticed that they even had a table for outdoor seating. The indoor seating is upstairs and has a cozy sit-out overlooking Karve Road,
Food: We tried Belgian waffles and french fries with some tea and coffee. The food quality was excellent and the portions were very generous for the pricing. The staff was also very courteous.
Overall, this seems to a great place for breakfast or a quick snack. Something, I would definitely try again in the future!
A great place with decent ambience and cool place to hangout. Food is of good quality and chocolate brownies are a speciality! Cost of food is also fair enough.

Located in a prime area, easy to find while driving, food quality is good, taste is really great, not very costly considering the quality and taste, service is fast, good ambience and a cozy place.
Overall a good place to have a breakfast or snacks.

I really like this place. It's affordable and apt for everyone from family, friends to couples. If you're 5-6 person then they have an elevated place upstairs, there you can sit relaxing, watching view out of big glass window. They usually keep balloons and pillows there. It's like a solid bed attached to wall but without mattress. You can order-pay-wait for your meals, also order-wait-pay is available. It's amazing small sweet place to visit for 1-2 hours.
One of my favorite cafes in and around Pune. Simple, cozy, comfortable, good food and great staff. So many memories and moments were made on all my visits here, especially with my loved ones. It's unfortunate they had to close down so suddenly. Hoping the best for the owners.

Under appreciated but amazing good food. Prepared carefully by owners. They need to maintain little bit more cleanliness around kitchen floor but food prep has no issues. Good seating and comfort.
This is just awesome, cozy little place to hang out esp when one really needs a coffee break. The sandwitches, fries, tea and cappucino all are pretty much like home made. The mezzanine window is THE place to grab for an informal relaxing place. The guys are high enthu and have great hospitality. They are simple but superb. 👌
